It’s time to present this week’s statuette of shame, The Golden Weasel, to our Weasel Of The Week!!
Every Tuesday, the Council nominates some of the slimiest, most despicable characters in public life for some deed of evil, cowardice or corruption they’ve performed. Then we vote to single out one particular Weasel for special mention, to whom we award the statuette of shame, our special, 100% plastic Golden Weasel. This week’s nominees were all truly slime-worthy and disgusting, but in the end the overwhelming winner was….the envelope please..
State Department Spokeshole,Jihadi Employment Specialist and Chikken Fried Crap Thrower Marie Harsh!
The Independent Sentinel: For me, Marie Harf has a slight edge over Eric Holder who doesn’t know why we have to call radical Islam by its name. She thinks the solution to ISIS is jobs!
During an interview with Chris Matthews on MSNBC, State Department spokeswoman Marie Harf said: “We can’t kill our way out of this war…whether it’s more opportunities for jobs… what makes these 17-year old kids pick up an AK-47 instead of trying to start a business.”
We’re still killing them but they need job opportunities, she assured Chris Matthews.
Since they don’t know what this “kind of ideology this is” in the White House, this solution isn’t unexpected.
Maybe we can open up an ISIS employment agency at the White House or we could give ISIS jobs as border agents.
Yes, it’s Marie Harf who took the honors this week. Straight outta college and into the Obama Campaign, she’s been a particularly loyal soldat, she has, and last week’s set to proved it.
There she was, saying that we couldn’t kill or way to victory, that all IS needs are job opportunities, and that all the Islamist terrorist outfits in the world are somehow absolved by Joseph Kony and the Lord’s Army in Uganda, a supposed ‘Christian’ terrorist outfit. Why,she even wrote her college thesis on the awful way all those wack job Right Wingers and Evangelicals support Israel and how bad it is for U.S.foreign policy.
In other words, mirroring exactly what Barack Hussein Obama believes.
“Hey, I’ve got a Masters, I wear glasses and I’m smarter than all of you dammit ! That’s why I’m Deputy State Department deputy spokeswoman!”
Ah, but all that being down for the struggle just wasn’t enough.
When her supervisor, State Department Spokeswoman Jen Psaki moves to the White House (appropriately on April Fool’s Day) to serve as the next White House Communications Director, you’d think Marie Harf would get her reward for all that sucking up ( or whatever direction it was) and get promoted to Psaki’s old job. Alas, it appears not. Sigh. It’s one thing to lie and dissemble as part of your daily duties, but to not even get a proper reward for it? How dare President Obama deny us all that material! I’m proud to present this Weasel to Ms.Harf, and I certainly hope it starts the ball rolling towards her well earned promotion.
No more war on women!
Well, there it is!
Check back next Tuesday to see who next week’s nominees for Weasel of the Week are!
Make sure to tune in every Monday for the Watcher’s Forum, and remember, every Wednesday, the Council has its weekly contest with the members nominating two posts each, one written by themselves and one written by someone from outside the group for consideration by the whole Council. The votes are cast by the Council, and the results are posted on Friday morning. It’s a weekly magazine of some of the best stuff written in the blogosphere, and you won’t want to miss it...or any of the other fantabulous Watcher’s Council content.

The left is all excited about the prospect of juicy bits coming from the new book, Roger Ailes: Off Camera (Kindle), about Fox News’ chief Roger Ailes, including one about why he hired Sarah Palin:
“MSNBC has [already] announced they’re out of the news business,” Ailes added. “They have several different hosts, but it’s always the same show: Republicans are no good.” Ailes pointed out that CNN is moving out of the news business and mocked CNN chief Jeff Zucker over the network’s bizarre obsession with the documentary Blackfish: “[Zucker] had a big hit with a whale one night [the documentary Blackfish]. I guess he’s going to do whales a lot.“
Just this morning, CNN aired a full package on a few protesters motivated by Blackfish to give Southwest Airlines a hard time. You could compare CNN to a train wreck, but people actually watch those.
Fox News not only dominates in the ratings (frequently beating CNN and MSNBC combined in total viewers), but both CNN and MSNBC suffered horrible years in the department of credibility. Among other things, CNN was caught red-handed flaking for gun control and fabricating evidence to frame George Zimmerman as racist. Due to its own embarrassing scandals, MSNBC lost two of its anchors, Martin Bashir and Alec Baldwin; and to close out an already awful year, anchor Melissa Harris-Perry led an on-air segment ridiculing Mitt Romney’s infant grandson.
The biggest news Fox News made about itself, though, was juggling an already successful primetime line-up into something even more successful. Moving rising cable superstar Megyn Kelly to 9pm has not only boosted the network’s ratings by 20% in the coveted 25-54 demo but this happened without bumping a single anchor or host.
Fox News has not only won the cable news wars but scared its competitors into becoming something else entirely. MSNBC is now National Public Radio with pictures and a mean streak while CNN is, well, a slow-motion disaster.
Another loser in this cable news war is the Soros-backed, tax-exempt, left-wing Media Matters, who surrendered in their own Ahab-esque battle against Fox News by declaring victory.
So why doesn’t this woman remember the terrorist attack at Fort Hood… the terrorist attack at another base? Does Nidal Hasan, self admitted and just convicted on all counts of Terrorism, ring a bell? Why was it originally reported that the shooters were two white men? And why would the President of the United States and his Press Secretary go ahead with the incredibly divisive and inaccurate statements on the budget at such a time? Is that leadership?
Comment:
Disgusted: Nidal Hasan, lady… I mean really!! You don’t remember Nidal Hasan, who admitted to committing acts of terrorism at Ft. Hood and then was found guilty on all counts? Did this woman really buy into the Obama Ft. Hood spin that it was just workplace violence to that point that she forgot Nidal Hasan’s own words and the outcome of his trial? People, if you are getting your news from ABC, NBC, CBS and CNN alone… and worse yet MSNBC, you are in the dark and being manipulated!!! And now it comes out that this (the killed shooter) also spent time at Ft. Hood?
And what was with those divisive comments earlier today by Obama in the wake of this tragedy, trying run down the Republicans? Divide and Conquer… the Alinsky way!
Navy Man: This was definitely either a terror attack or a government created event to create diversion, chaos or to promote an agenda!!!!!!!!!!! Manipulation of a far too uninformed populace!!
MGA:
I am a former Navy wife… although years ago, but any base I ever went to was heavily guarded at the gates. There is definitely more to this than meets the eye!! And how convenient… again. The bad news for the administration in the upcoming Congressional Benghazi Report is out through a draft given Fox News. The whole Syria mess has exploded in Obama’s face and he looks completely incompetent! Or is it going just as planned by the power elite, taking us to WWIII? And Obama’s ridiculous self-serving pat on the back speech that was scheduled for today… the day of the shooting was already taken apart and seen by those who are informed as a pure fairytale with an attempt to demonize the other side… again, that he went ahead with, even in the wake of this tragedy. Smoke and mirrors my friends!!
Nancy J:
I worked in the Navy Yard at the NRL during the Reagan administration and they are heavily guarded by massively armed military with shoot-to-kill orders. How did the terrorists get in? (did they relax security making them vulnerable to penetration?) Or were the terrorists on the inside - authorized to be in there? If so, how in the world did they ever pass the extensive process of the background check with polygraph - and the re-checks done every 2 to 5 years - to even get authorization?!
Conspiracy? Definitely - based on the definition of the word, which the left wants everyone too dumbed down to even know what a conspiracy actually is or to even have the sense to look it up in the dictionary.
RN:
Thank you Bill Clinton for disarming all servicemen. NOT!! Another U.S. base that suffered because your HORRIBLE policies!!
TMH:
Conspiracy by the government to create an emergency probably. One in five now interviewed for high security in the government are radicals Jihadists and they are letting them in. Between them, the Progressive radicals and those who have had enough of all this crap, it will happen more and more.
MJ:
It seems like whenever this stuff happens, you can tell by the inflection of the voices of the reporters… that something just isn’t right in what they are reporting. Wonder what they are up to ….maybe a reason for higher levels of security across the country? Tighten the noose… Or just another diversion? Another play for more gun control and confiscation?
WND: In 2003, Rush Limbaugh lost his position as a NFL commentator because an observation about a black quarterback was construed as "racist."
In 2010, NPR's Juan Williams was fired for a comment about his concerns when boarding a plane with Muslim passengers.
In 2013, in the heated environment following the massacre of school children in Newtown, Conn., CNN's Piers Morgan hosted a panel in which the idea of shooting an outspoken opponent of gun control with an "assault rifle" was approvingly discussed.
Piers Morgan still has his job. Why??
These folks plan to change that.
WASHINGTON – Officials with the conservative group Americans for Legal Immigration are challenging CNN to take Piers Morgan off the air after a controversial debate on gun control with InfoWars.com’s Alex Jones.
Jones has been just one those Morgan has brought on the air over gun control in recent days.
Following the debate with Jones, which sparked a media firestorm, Morgan featured a panel on his program including Daily Beast sports columnist Buzz Bissinger, and commentator Abby Huntsman, daughter of presidential candidate Jon Huntsman, in which Buzz joked about how someone should “pop” Jones with an “assault rifle.”
To which Abby Huntsman laughingly responded, “I’d love to see that, in uniform!”
William Gheen, president of ALIPAC, called Morgan’s segment one of the worst he’s seen in his career.
“Monitoring the media is something I have done professionally for two decades now, and in that entire time I have never seen anything as outrageous as the Piers Morgan segment joking about killing one of their guests with an ‘assault rifle’,” Gheen told WND.
Morgan and Jones engaged in a heated debate over Americans’ rights to be armed, despite Morgan being British. The ever-controversial Jones discussed a New World Order and mentioned his fear of political assassination. Morgan’s decision to feature Jones as the face of the right wing gun control position outraged many conservatives including Glenn Beck and Erick Erickson who feared he would delegitimize their case.
The gun control debate has been put back on the forefront of American politics following the Aurora, Colo., theater shooting and Newtown, Conn., school tragedy.
Those representing Second Amendment advocacy including Wayne LaPierre, executive vice president of the National Rifle Association, and current NRA President David Keene, have received death threats – ironically involving guns – over social media.
ALIPAC also has launched a social media effort that has gained them 65,000 Facebook followers and has clogged up lines at CNN calling for Morgan to be taken off air.
“Please call CNN to demand that Piers Morgan be fired for advocating political murder with assault rifles on last night’s show. Free speech is one thing, but we cannot allow the liberal media to take things this far against those that oppose amnesty or support gun rights etc.. Call 404.827.1500 and wait for a human operator,” Gheen encouraged.
The Washington Post reported that Morgan also interviewed gun-rights advocate John Lott and dismissed him by “scoffing at him.
Morgan then interviewed gun-rights advocate Larry Pratt and dismissed him by “insulting” him.
The report said Morgan was unable to control all of the interviews over guns. When Ben Shapiro, editor-at-large of Breitbart.com was on the show, Morgan brought out Ronald Reagan.
He said, according to the Post, “One of the great right-wing presidents of modern times agreed with me.”
“Shapiro’s priceless retort: ‘So?’” the paper reported.
Morgan then said, “You genuinely believe your own government is going to turn on you in a way that you require an AR-15 to challenge them? You really believe that will happen in modern-day America? Is that what you think?”
Said Shapiro, “”They may not turn on me. They may not turn on my children. But the fact is this, history is replete with democracies going tyrannical. It has happened. It happened in France in the 19th century. It happened in Spain in the last century. It happened in Germany. It happened in Italy. It happened in Japan.”
And remember the words of Thomas Jefferson "The strongest reason for the people to retain the right to keep and bear arms is, as a last resort, to protect themselves against tyranny in government." Angry protesters climbed the walls of the U.S. Embassy in Cairo today and hauled down its U.S. flags, replacing them with black flags with Islamic emblems.
The incident prompted U.S. security guards to fire off a volley of warning shots as a large crowd gathered outside, apparently upset about the production of a Dutch film thought to insult the prophet Mohammed, said CNN producer Mohammed Fahmy, who was on the scene.
An Embassy operator told CNN that the facility had been cleared of diplomatic personnel earlier in the day, ahead of the apparent threat, while Egyptian riot police were called to help secure the Embassy walls.

America apologizes to Egypt… Then Obama says the apology was a mistake.
Earlier in the day… Obama refuses to meet with Bibi Netanyahu and refuses to set down red lines for Iran. Later it is reported that Obama will on Letterman the same say he said he wouldn’t be in NYC to meet with Netanyahu.
The US State Department calls the purchase of Obama's books "standard practice," but critics call it "inappropriate."
Records show the US Embassy in Cairo, Egypt, spent more than $40,000 in 2009 on “Dreams From My Father,”
It’s the biggest books shopping spree we’ve seen in a while.
The State Department bought more than $70,000 worth of President Barack Obama’s books, The Washington Times reported Tuesday. The books, mostly Obama’s 1995 bestseller, “Dreams from My Father,” will be used as Christmas gratuities for embassy staff and to stock “key libraries” around the world.
Records show the US Embassy in Cairo, Egypt, spent more than $40,000 in 2009 on “Dreams,” and the US Embassy in South Korea spent $6,061 on the same title, all to be used for Christmas gratuities. Obama reported between $1 million to $5 million in royalties in 2010 for “Dreams From My Father,” and between $100,000 and $1 million in royalties for “The Audacity of Hope,” far more than he has made as President. If he earned 10 percent royalties on roughly $60,000 worth of the State Department purchases, he would pocket about $6,000, notes The Washington Times.
Both the White House – which was not involved in the buying – and the State Department have come under intense fire for the purchases.
“It’s inappropriate for U.S. taxpayer dollars to be spent on this,” Leslie Paige, the spokesman for Citizens Against Government Waste, told The Washington Times. “This sounds like propaganda.”
Tom Schatz, president of Citizens against Government Waste, told CNN that the purchases provide money from the taxpayers to the president in the form of royalties. "[I]n an era where everyone's trying to cut back, it really doesn't look good to the taxpayers to have this being done at the State Department."
The State Department, as expected, is defending its shopping spree.
State Department spokeswoman Victoria Nuland told CNN it is "longstanding practice" to allow embassies to buy books, "to put them out in libraries ... give them to contacts, which they think will help deepen understanding of the U.S. political system, of U.S. political figures and leaders of U.S. history, U.S. culture."
The purchases, she added are "done in strict accordance with government procurement standards."
"It's the embassies themselves that make the decisions what American books to buy. And they make these decisions based on the interest in the country where they are. But these are not decisions that are made in Washington, and they're not decisions that are directed by Washington."
The White House, for it’s part, is happy to wash its hands of this decision.
"Obviously, the White House didn't have anything to do with this," White House Press Secretary Jay Carney told reporters traveling aboard Air Force One on Wednesday. "I think this is an embassy-by-embassy decision based on what they think ... in buying books makes sense for them in terms of advancing American foreign policy interests."

No doubt right now every video of Obama and Hillary praising the Arab Spring is being scrubbed off the internet…
A new poll out from CNN shows Romney losing to Obama overall by 6 percentage points. That result would be fine and dandy if the breakdown of the polling sample showed an equal part of Democrats and Republicans with any number of Independents. Curiously, CNN hasn't released a breakdown of the sample they polled.
The real eye-opener here is this: although the poll shows Romney down by 6 overall, it also shows him leading among independents by a whopping 14%. Only in skewed polling results can a candidate be crushing his opponent among indies but lose overall.
Christian Heinze of GOP2012 was the first to report on the discrepancy:
But here's a very curious internal.
Romney leads among independents, 54%-40%. That's a blowout number. Both candidates get 96%-97% of their respective parties, so this means that this sample must have leaned Democratic big-time.
And of course, CNN didn't release the sampling breakdown.
There's no doubt Obama got a convention bounce, but the independent number indicates a pretty severe oversample among Democrats in this poll.
In this clip from CNN, Paul Ryan attempts to have an adult level conversation with Congresswoman Schultz. And unfortunately fails, through no fault of his own.
FACT: NOBODY 55 OR OLDER WILL BE AFFECTED BY ANY MEDICARE CHANGES AND WITHOUT REFORM MEDICARE WILL BE BANKRUPT BY 2024 FOR EVERYONE… THE ROMNEY-RYAN TICKET WILL SAVE THE PROGRAM!!
Usually, when one lies their nose really grows. Debbie "Washermouthout" Schultz is one big tub of lies.
Whether Mitt or Newt won depends on who you listen to.
Gingrich was in top form tonight and was able to hold the position he loves to operate from. He was able to swoop in on certain questions and do really well, answering in a sly superior fashion. If Newt had nights like this in every debate, he would be much closer to being the nominee. Newt probably built up his vote share last night with his quips and insight, but every vote he gets back comes from Santorum not from Romney.
Mitt Romney also fell into the winner circle. Romney is not as good a debater as Newt but was prepared. Preparation can overcome a multitude of sins and what ever else you want to say about Romney, he does prepare well for debates, plus he is getting better at it. One of Romney’s advantages is that he comes across as presidential.
Former Clinton political advisor (now a Republican) and author Dick Morris wrote:
In last night's debate, Romney showed how he has grown through this contest and has developed into a presidential figure. By contrast, Santorum's performance was distinctly congressional. I found myself agreeing with Santorum on much of what he said, but willing to follow Romney. In sync with Rick, but trusting
Mitt.Santorum's replies were pedantic, tactical, and detailed. No inspiration there. He was like a lawyer advocating his case or a congressman battling for a bill. But Romney came across as a real leader - charismatic, bold, strong, and, ultimately, inspiring. See his full post HERE.
Ron Paul could have been a winner if he could have stayed away from foreign policy issues. Foreign policy, specifically Iran, is his Achilles heel. Iran is a threat to America. Radical Islam is a threat to America. We are not threatening Iran. Iran is threatening America and Israel; the big and little Satans as they call us. Ron did have some humorous moments last night. And what I do agree with Ron Paul on is that we need to formally declare wars before entering into them!.
CNN is a winner too. CNN did not hit any of the Republicans with any really bad gotcha questions and the really stupid questions, like describe yourself with one word, were kept to a minimum.
The Republican Party, with twenty some debates has also scored big with the Debates. They have been a big draw for the networks that have carried them so have been a good showcase for all of the Republican candidates. A year ago, who would have believed we would have had this many debates?
The losers:
Rick Santorum. Santorum needed a knock out punch today to beat Romney. He did not get it. He stumbled. Not only did he not get his knock out punch, he was back on his heels most of the debate. He stumbled and fumbled in dealing with all of the candidates. Santorum did not have the worst debate performance ever. He did not forget which departments he would abolish. But his performance was not one of his best nights.
If Santorum had delivered with some of the strong points he had in previous debates he might have continued doing better going into Michigan and Arizona. This debate could have the same consequences as did the bad debates for Gingrich in Florida.
The Republican Establishment is also a loser of sorts. For years they have allowed the liberal media to call the shots on their debates. The Republican mainstream voters are tired of it. Blogs ranging from the Tea Party Nation to Red State and on have called the GOP establishment on this; even the National Review addressed this today.
Santorum started with momentum tonight, but he needed to have a debate strategy. Romney had his debate strategy down. He was going to get in someone’s face and push them back on their heels. Gingrich was in his preferred position and he had the strategy of being the Republican wise man, which he pulled off well and relished in. And Ron Paul was his independent self and really went after Santorum.
Santorum seemed to have no strategy other than to just showing up, and neither he nor Newt came across as presidential
We will know in the next few days how badly this debate hurt Santorum, since the voters have been so fickle this primary season. One thing is certain. Romney can probably breathe a little easier tonight and the polls in Michigan should keep tightening. Donald Trump appeared with Greta on the Record after the debate and Trump said he just saw that Romney have pulled into the lead in Michigan where Santorum had been leading. If Romney wins Michigan and Arizona he has a decided advantage on Super Tuesday.
The outcome of the upcoming primaries may shift the entire ebb and flow of the GOP race again and could end the talk of a brokered convention, one of the ongoing side stories in this roller coaster of a race. Some feel it could be the best thing that ever happened to the GOP, but most feel it would be a nightmare. And some still think there could be surprises ahead on both sides.
But if the American people don’t wake up as to the importance of this election… America and everyone in it is the loser. Only 4.5 million people watched last night’s debate, in probably the most important election of all our life times. That is a travesty! And truly if you are not paying attention you are not equipped to vote!
Another side story is the question of whether Ron Paul has been keeping his Mitts off Mitt in order to get his son, Rand, on the ticket? Ron or Rand Paul will at least get a speaking position and input at the convention if Ron keeps picking up delegates.
Like Father Like Son? Maybe but smoother around the edges?
Many feel it’s all coming down to this: Ron Paul is staying in this race, no matter what, in order to assist Romney, because he wants his son to be on the Presidential ticket with Mitt Romney.
As he travels around stumping on the basis of his limited government position, he is also fishing to get his son on the ticket with another candidate in this race. In tonight’s debate on CNN, the elder Paul had every chance to criticize Romney, but he didn’t, and instead spent his time hammering Santorum. Coincidence???
I like many of the things Ron Paul stands for in the domestic arena, but can the younger Paul effect policy changes as part of the Romney team, or will virtually none of Ron Paul’s positions be adopted in the end? It could be interesting if they can pull it off! As they say, politics make strange bedfellows and Romney’s presidency would be the antithesis of much of what Ron Paul has advocated.
At the conclusion of the debate on CNN, Anderson Cooper came on as the stage emptied of the candidates, and I watched with interest as Mitt Romney got up and directly went to shake Ron Paul’s hand and exchange a few words with him.
Rubio’s Mormon Past Revealed - There is a definite question as to Rubio’s eligibility to be president/VP but on this issue… Obama’s father and step-father were Muslims and his mother and grandparents were progressive atheists… Obama himself, questionable and we are worried about Mormons? Really??
CNN teamed up with the Tea Party Express to air another GOP Debate live from Tampa FL last night.
Patriots, give yourselves a round of applause. You were the true stars and winners of the CNN/Tea Party Express Republican Presidential Debate last night. Opinions vary as to which presidential candidate won. We The People were the biggest winners because for the first time millions who do not watch Fox News, do not listen to conservative talk radio and do not read conservative blogs got to see who we really are; not a bunch of redneck racists.
As Mary and I sat in the audience, I felt extremely proud of my Tea Party family. You showed the world you are articulate and well-informed regarding the issues. Regardless of the candidate, in response to their answers, you cheered and booed at the correct times. The contrast between tea party patriots and clueless Obama voters is quite glaring.
Brother and sister patriots, we have come a long way in two and a half years. I realized at the debate the days of simply attending “ra-ra” rallies are over. You guys have morphed into a massive army of well-educated well-prepared foot soldiers; boots on the ground doing the work to take back America. Just as Jesus instructed His disciples to fail not to assemble themselves together, tea party rallies are now for inspiration, ministering to each other and fellowship.
Each of you please continue using your gifts and talents and following your passion for our common goal. And still, our extraordinary Tea Party movement does not have a single Commander-in-Chief.
On second thought, I take that back. I believe we DO have a Commander-in-Chief. God!
I was amazed by the number of you who told me about your new conservative radio show, new books, new outreach to minorities, new art project to spread the conservative message, new prayer group for America and etc. You guys blew me away. You are awesome! We are winning! God bless.
Former CNN political contributor Amy Holmes is joining former Fox news host Glenn Beck‘s GBTV as news anchor for The Blaze. Holmes will be tasked with anchoring news and information segments during Beck’s two-hour program from 5p to 7p on GBTV, as well as updates throughout the day.
Holmes contributed to CNN’s political coverage during the 2006 and 2008 elections, and has also contributed to NBC’s “Dateline and “Nightly News,” as well as ABC’s “The View.” She left as a contributor to CNN in 2009.
The hire is a big one for GBTV, which gets to add a familiar face to its programming. On CNN Holmes has also been decidedly independent–albeit often labeled as a conservative–making the hire an interesting one from a political perspective. Holmes was also a regular fill-in for Beck when he was at HLN.

Glenn announces Any Holmes hire on his radio show and then goes on to talk to Pastor John Hagee
Glenn Beck is putting away the polo and pulling out the cowboy hat. After numerous reports — including this one which includes pictures of the home Beck is reportedly renting — Beck confirmed he is moving to Dallas where he will open new radio and television studios.
Chris Balfe, President and COO of Mercury Radio Arts, tells Beck’s site The Blaze, “While Glenn will be spending much of his time there, we will continue to maintain and grow our New York City offices and studios to accommodate the talented staff we have assembled and will continue to assemble here.”
“I can’t wait,” Beck said during his radio show today. Beck announced in April that he’d be leaving the New York area, and later sold his Connecticut home. Two weeks ago, Beck and his family were harassed while watching an outdoor movie in New York City’s Bryant Park.
When it comes to philanthropy, the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation surely leads the pack.
In an Interview last week on CNN, Bill Gates was proud and excited to tell the world about the benefits of vaccination.
This particular writer can not argue that is quite possible that world population may be getting quite close to the tipping point, but what Bill Gates actually says to in this interview with Dr. Sanjay Gupta on CNN March 5th 2011 might be just a little bit too much information for the conventional Main Stream Media audience.
In this 5 minute interview, Bill Gates clearly states that the child deaths and sickness are not the only benefits of an extensive vaccination program, and "population control" is an equally beneficial affect of a well funded vaccination program, but "population control" is an equally beneficial affect. (It is an elitist concept promoted and believed in by much or the Ruling Elite around the World… the Progressives, the Fabians, the Bilderbergers (Melinda Gates, Oprah Winfrey and Barack Obama was spotted where Microchips Were Discussed at Bilderberg 2008 Jones ...), etc and my many others who are in the White House Administration today. Those that consider themselves better, more worthy and definitely superior to the average man and woman, the ‘sheeple’, that just take up room and use up resources in their elite point of view. Do a little research on John Holdren, Cass Sunstein (the man who believes we all have Homer Simpson in us and all he has to do is us into what is good for us - Nudge: Improving Decisions About Health, Wealth, and Happiness), Don Berwick, and Ezekiel Emanuel (Rahm’s brother) just to begin with and there is always Jay Rockefeller. )
The Gates Foundation has quickly become a major influence upon global health; the approximately US$800 million that the foundation gives every year for global health approaches the annual budget of the United Nations World Health Organization (193 nations) and is comparable to the funds given to fight infectious disease by the United States Agency for International Development.
The Foundation currently provides 17% (US$86 million in 2006) of the world budget for the attempted eradication of poliomyelitis (polio).
The Global Health Program's other significant grants include:
The Global Alliance for Vaccines and Immunization
The foundation gave The Global Alliance for Vaccines and Immunization a donation of US$750 million on January 25, 2005.
Children's Vaccine Program
The Children's Vaccine Program, run by the Program for Appropriate Technology in Health (PATH), received a donation of US$27 million to help vaccinate against Japanese encephalitis on December 9, 2003. (Our daughter received this vaccine onboard ship while she was participating in the Semester at Sea program and there was an outbreak. A year later she had developed colitis to such an extreme state that she had to have her entire colon taken out at age 21? coincidental?? One of side affects is sterility.)
University of Washington Department of Global Health
The foundation provided approximately US$30 million for the foundation of the new Department of Global Health at the University of Washington in Seattle. The donation promoted three of the Foundation's target areas: education, Pacific Northwest and global health. The foundation also lead a study to increase access to high education globally.
HIV Research
The foundation has donated a grand total of US$287 million to various HIV/AIDS researchers. The money was split between sixteen different research teams across the world, on the condition that they share their findings with one another.
Aeras Global TB Vaccine Foundation
The foundation gave the Aeras Global TB Vaccine Foundation more than US$280 million to develop and license an improved vaccine against tuberculosis for use in high burden countries.
Microsoft founder Bill Gates was recently interviewed by CNN Chief Medical Correspondent Sanjay Gupta. Gates was attending the World Economic Forum to push his mission of eradicating polio by 2012. Gates, through his foundation, has pledged $10 billion to provide vaccinations to children around the world .
In the course of the interview, in regards to the vaccine-autism connection, Gates said:
"... [I]t's an absolute lie that has killed thousands of kids. Because the mothers who heard that lie, many of them didn't have their kids take either pertussis or measles vaccine, and their children are dead today. And so the people who go and engage in those anti-vaccine efforts -- you know, they, they kill children. It's a very sad thing, because these vaccines are important."
How can someone so smart also be so confused about this issue? Unfortunately, that may actually be part of the problem.
Bill Gates may be one of the most destructive "do-gooders" on the planet because he is rich enough to get what he wants and he has a high opinion of his own intelligence. It is hard enough fighting Big Pharma, Big Government and Big Medicine on vaccines, but when another opponent is one of the wealthiest and most influential philanthropists in the world, it is even harder.
Fortunately, truth is more powerful than money. It is the only reason that the voices of parents and vaccine injured children continue to be heard above the relentless promotion of lies by the wealthy and powerful.
In this video below, Bill Gates makes more statements regarding the need for a population control program at the TED conference in Long Beach California in 2010. Wait till he gets to 4 Minutes and 40 seconds into his speech. Bill lets it slip again that if we do a really good job vaccinating people, we could lower population by 15%.
All of a sudden the worries over the H1N1 vaccine seem a little more serious to a lot of people. And one thing you can be sure of, the people who will receive the vaccines with the little depopulation additive won’t be any of the elites or the children of the elites just like the people who will get the end of life death panel nod won’t be any of them either. They will be you and I, your children and mine, the poor of the world and the physically and mentally challenged or undesirables. All of a sudden Sarah Palin and Dick Morris’s warnings of death panels seem a lot more real as well. The Bill Gates of this world and his friends are the same that supports Planned Parenthood and its founder Margaret Sanger, who believed in eugenics and created Planned Parenthood with that goal. Let us also give a little thought to the fact that as the White House administration and liberal doctors were promoting that everyone get the H1N1 vaccines neither the Obama girls nor the wife and daughters of Dr. Oz, good buddy of Obama-ite Oprah Winfrey, were vaccinated.
Please watch the other hand and to your homework and remember… just because it is a so-called conspiracy does not mean it is a theory nor does it mean that it is untrue. And when it starts coming from the perpetrator,s own mouths it is ‘almost’ past time to pay attention and change it.~~
This is a rush transcript from "Hannity," February 2, 2011. This copy may not be in its final form and may be updated.
SEAN HANNITY, HOST: President Hosni Mubarak's 30 year reign appears to be coming to an abrupt and violent end in Egypt. Now, the turbulence witnessed on the streets of Cairo today shut much of the international community. And it has helped remind us all that the critical question now facing the rest of the world is who will fill the power vacuum when Mubarak officially steps down? Will democracy take shape or will a radical Islamic caliphate soon form?
Well, the man who will join me now live from London believes that this is the beginning of an Islamic uprising in the Middle East. And perhaps, even more alarming, he thinks the extremist group known as the Muslim brotherhood will likely rise to power in Cairo. Here to explain those predictions and much more is controversial Muslim cleric, Imam Anjem Choudary. Welcome to the program.
ANJEM CHOUDARY, RADICAL IMAM: Yes. Thank you very much.
HANNITY: You know, I actually read a transcript of an interview yesterday. And as I was reading this, it was interesting to me, because I found myself agreeing with you. And I probably agree with you on very little else. And you were making the case that in fact, this is, as you said, this is the Islamic revolution going on in Cairo. Can you explain that?
CHOUDARY: Yes, absolutely. I mean, one only has to look at the streets in Egypt, they are saying, you know, Mubarak the coward, the agent of the Americans. They are fed up of the torture, of the corruption of the lack of resources. They want to change. I mean, in Egypt today, you already have drugs and alcohol available, they have corruption, all of the fruits, if you like of Western civilization there. What they don't have in Egypt is the basic needs of food, clothing, and shelter, they don't have, you know --
(CROSSTALK)
HANNITY: It's a very poor country, we got that. And most of the people live in poverty on less than $2 a day, we've covered all that ground. I want people to know a little bit more about you and who you are. Let me give you for example the Muslim Brotherhood's motto which is their motto today, "Allah is our objective. The prophet is our leader. The Koran is our law. Jihad is our way. And dying in the way of Allah is our highest hope. Allahu Akbar." Do you agree with that motto?
CHOUDARY: Yes. I mean, which Muslim would not agree with that. We do believe as Muslims that sovereignty and supremacy belongs to God. In fact, in the world today, there are two camps, one which believes that sovereignty belongs to man at the head which, you know, is the moment probably Barack Obama and the other one which believes that sovereignty belongs to God. And the head of that whether we like it or not, Usama bin Laden.
HANNITY: All right. So, the Islamic brotherhood that was responsible for the killing on the assassination of the prime minister back in 1948 and also responsible for the -- and involved in the assassination of Anwar Sadat in 1981 and also these writings influence Ayman al-Zawahiri and Usama bin Laden, these are people you admire, these are people that you would want to rule Egypt in the Middle East?
CHOUDARY: No, I believe that the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt have gone through various stages. I mean, we've seen the removal of the British Empire there. We've seen the removal of dictators like Anwar Sadat and obviously now Hosni Mubarak, you know, inshAllah soon.
HANNITY: I got that. I got all that. That's not the question.
CHOUDARY: We've seen them going through -- I'm addressing your question, you have to allow me to finish...
HANNITY: No, no, no, but I just read to you their motto, sir.
CHOUDARY: Yes.
HANNITY: And their motto is, Jihad is our way and the -- wait a minute -- and the Koran is our law. You want the Koran to be the law. You want an Islamic caliphate. And how do we interpret Sharia from your view? For example, can women drive in Saudi Arabia under Sharia they can't. If women are raped they need four male eye witnesses. Women in Iran under Sharia are stoned to death. Is that the Islamic law you support, sir?
CHOUDARY: OK. I'm going to answer this question. Let me talk about the Sharia. Obviously, the Sharia is misunderstood, there's no doubt about it. Under the Sharia, you know, we don't have women stoned because, you know, they are raped or because they committed adultery and the man is not, if you like, punished, this is complete false, totally false. Under the Sharia in fact, what we find is the basic needs of food, clothing and shelter are met. The life, the wealth, the honor, the dignity of all citizens are protected. In fact, the Sharia was implemented in Egypt for over a millennium. You know, in Egypt.
HANNITY: You are distorting the issue.
CHOUDARY: Well, allow me to answer.
HANNITY: I'm allowing you to answer.
(CROSSTALK)
HANNITY: But sir, sir, I have example after example, women are stoned to death in Egypt. Women can't drive. Under Sharia in Saudi Arabia, you yourself -- hang on -- you yourself sir, let me finish my question. You yourself, people who commit adultery, should be stoned to death. You said that. You said that Egypt and America one day will be under Sharia law. You said every woman Muslim or non-Muslim would have to wear a burqa. Did you not say that, sir?
CHOUDARY: What I said was in fact and what I continue to repeat is that I do believe that the whole world will one day be governed by the Sharia. That is the promise of the best man who walks the message of Muhammad Salalahu (ph). Let me say something, look, you know, there are many misconceptions about the Sharia. You know, at the moment, we have about 55 so-called Muslim countries, none of them implement the Sharia. We have some examples where people are trying to implement the Sharia as in Somalia, you know, parts of Iran and Afghanistan. This is a project, you know, and if you look at those places, you know the --
HANNITY: All right. I got the 55 countries.
(CROSSTALK)
CHOUDAR: All me just to finish my -- I think you are listening --
HANNITY: Sir, I'm quoting you. Answer my question, did you or did you not say people who commit adultery should be stoned to death? Did you say that?
CHOUDARY: That is not my statement, but I believe that, certainly, I do believe that when the Sharia is implemented --
HANNITY: Thank you.
CHOUDARY: -- and you have the education system of Islam and you have the social and economic justice, certainly the penal code to be implemented.
HANNITY: OK. And you also said.
CHOUDARY: It is not just about, well, allow me to finish.
HANNITY: You're answering the question.
CHOUDARY: It is not about stoning people to death. Well, look, you know, Mr. Hannity, I believe your name is Hannity, you know, if you just going to kind of hound me with questions and not allow me to answer your questions, I think your listeners of your viewers are going to be very upset. Allow me to at least finish a sentence, I mean, I'm supposed to be a guest on your show.
HANNITY: This is not a monopoly, I'm not a guest on your show.
(CROSSTALK)
HANNITY: We have limited time.
CHOUDARY: It is not a monopoly, but all you are doing is just shouting at me. And I don't think, you know, that's not a very decent way --
In a segment called “Right-Wing Freak Out” MSNBC host Chris Matthews, Media Matter’s blogger Eric Boehlert, and Washington Post columnist Eugene Robinson mocked Glenn Beck’s “Caliphate Map” while simultaneously on another network another television host was speaking about a similar map.
For viewers who may have been switching between MSNBC and CNN’s John King at the same exact moment they would’ve seen this:
Of course, to this keen viewer there was a slight difference between Glenn and John King’s maps:
While King was taking a journalistic approach and reporting on the facts of what has been happening in the middle east, uprising in Tunisia and Egypt leading to similar uprisings in neighboring countries, ect. – Glenn was using those facts and speculating what an outcome of this uprising might lead to, an Islamic Caliphate. Yes, you heard me right Glenn was giving his opinion based on facts – fulfilling his role as a Fox News opinion commentator.
I guess we can look forward to John King being featured on both MSNBC and Media Matters tomorrow then? Probably not.
Reminder: This is an Obama-approved "news" network. Big H/T to Lee Habeeb for spotting this.
It appears that CNN has sold out to be part of the lame stream media, joining NBC, CBS and ABC… leaving us one US network FOX, and Obama is obsessed with controlling them.
Fox, Beck, Limbaugh, Palin, Hannity, Bachmann, Buchanan… If you stand up against them or just report or tell the truth you are on the enemies list and on their radar to be Quaylenized… (George H.W. Bush’s V.P.), now Palinized.
