The assault on the Constitution and our Founding Principles has accelerated. Americans seem to be assailed by Marxist/Progressive propaganda at every turn. The most serious threat to our God-given rights currently, is the attack being mounted on the Second Amendment by the Progressive Left. They worked hard to manufacture a crisis with the Fast & Furious project which, to their disappointment, was exposed for the corrupt scandal it was before it could be leveraged to generate the outrage they hoped for. Their prayers for violence and horror, however, were answered. Using ginned up hysteria from convenient, current mass shootings and the slaughter of children – they never let a crisis go to waste. The Marxists see an opening to gut the Constitution and they are making their move. We dare not passively wait to be stripped of our rights.

The time for physical resistance has not yet arrived. Violence is always the very last resort. But neither has the time to just protect your own. Yes, we should take stock of our food, ammo, weapons and survival materials. Yes, we should brief our families and be more vigilant in protecting them. Yes, we should get to know our neighbors and form alliances. No, we should not just regroup and wait. That is a swift path to dictatorship. Pray for the best, plan for the worst. People should be doubling down on calling their politicians and letting them know that we are massively against these fascist moves towards banning and confiscating our guns. This is a battle we cannot — must not — lose, not if we wish to avoid civil conflict and bloodshed. This is it, boys and girls. We are fighting for all the marbles here. Throughout history, each time there is a genocide (or, “ethnic cleansing”), arms are regulated, registered and confiscated. Obama is threatening to go down that path and he relishes the thought.

This is the fight of our time and we will not submit to tyranny forced on the American people. That is not how this country was built and patriots will not sit this dance out. We must stop this abridgement of the Second Amendment at the government level or the fabric of America will be torn asunder. This is what Obama wants – he wants to ban guns, force every gun owner into a gun registry and then he wants widespread confiscation of our weapons. Patriots at that point will fight back and Obama also wants that, so he has an excuse to kill and imprison those who stand against him. He would then declare martial law where he can really and truly rule as an iron-fisted dictator. It’s been his end goal all along. Before door to door confiscation though, look for bank account seizures to force registration or submission of arms, just as the IRS uses in tax collection techniques. Banks have already started using this as a weapon against gun retailers and it will only get worse.

It’s not just the Second Amendment that is being attacked here. America’s liberties are being methodically beaten and pummeled from front and back. Virtually all of our Constitutional rights are under siege. If the administration gets its way, gun prohibition will spawn new speakeasies and black markets. Our prisons will fill up with those whose religious rights are violated under Obamacare, those who won’t relinquish their guns, people who are subjected to illegal search and seizure, as well as surveillance and on and on, while we struggle to understand “what we did to deserve this.” Meanwhile, Obama will release into the populace the real criminals, causing more violence and chaos. “For our own good,” of course. Obama will keep pushing Cloward and Piven and collapse the financial system. He will encourage “localized” Shariah law and pull more and more of the Muslim Brotherhood into our government. Massive amnesty for illegal immigrants is also in the political cards. Yes, it will hurt employment and wages, but we probably “had it coming.” For those who think I am an alarmist, you better take a long, hard look at what is happening. It is right in front of you. The systems are being overwhelmed with so many small fires, they cannot all be extinguished and anyone who tries will fail from exhaustion. It is the Soros school of regime change.

We have the Police Chief in Chicago now stating that it doesn’t matter if you are licensed legally to carry a firearm – if you are armed, the Chicago police will shoot you. Armed gangs are ruling our major cities and Obama wants to disarm the people, so the only ones who have guns are the criminals. The NRA’s membership has skyrocketed in the last month by 250,000 and Americans are now carrying MORE guns than before. They are patrolling neighborhoods and protecting those under attack. Walled communities in isolated regions are beginning to surface as well. Americans will try anything and everything to protect themselves.

Many of the actions by this President are, in my opinion, impeachable offenses. If Obama uses an Executive Order to forward the banning and confiscation of guns, he will be in direct violation of the Constitution and should be impeached. I have no faith our politicians will do so, though. They don’t have the spine for it, much less the political will. If they don’t move against him, soon he will control solely through the Executive branch with no fear of reprisal. Our 3 branches of government will not matter, nor will the Constitution. This has to be stopped.

Everywhere you turn now, you hear the whispers of resistance. Sean Hannity, Mark Levin and Michael Savage among many others are ringing the warning bells. Our leaders should listen and carefully. I wonder, will it take a “burning bed” event before the abuse will stop?

The old urban lesson of the seventies is that the difference between civilization and the jungle is security. And there is no substitute for security, whether it’s the security of one man with a gun, or a very expensive police department of men with guns carrying out the marching orders of statistical analysts.

The political left has forgotten the lesson of Willie Horton in its arrogance and its base of metal working artists in converted warehouses has forgotten the lessons of that old Times Square that they never visited, but still nostalgically pine for. And as they work to disarm the people and dismantle police forces, it is inevitable that it is a lesson that they will be forced to learn again.

We are suffering from Battered America Syndrome. As Tammy Bruce has astutely pointed out, Obama is like the abusive husband who beats his wife and tells her it is for her own good. In fact, the abusers have formed a gang called the “Progressive Left.” They are ruling as bullies would and they don’t plan on ever leaving. The unvoiced threat is that if we push them, they will beat us to death. But, you know what? This battered spouse is a fighter and will fight back with all the courage and fury they can muster. Any bets on who will be left standing?

Hillary Doesn't Deserve Our Admiration or Another Shot at the Presidency

America is ready for her first female president, assuming there will be a 2016 Election, but Hillary Clinton is not the right choice!!

WND: Americans, Gallup tells us, admire Hillary Clinton more than any other woman in the world – again. This latest accolade marks the 17th time Gallup has found Clinton to be the Most Admired Woman (MAW?) since she became first lady nearly 20 years ago. Only Eleanor Roosevelt (13 MAWs) comes close. Only Mother Teresa (1995 and 1996) and Laura Bush (2001) have interrupted Clinton’s winning streak, and even then, Clinton came in second.

And therein lies America’s cosmic flaw. A country that could time and again embrace Hillary Clinton as its MAW has lost its mind or its memory or both.

Does the phrase “congenital liar” tinkle any bells? I know such non-admirable sentiments are thought to be in the worst of taste, if not also banishable offenses. Still, as conjured by the late New York Times columnist William Safire in 1996, the phrase described the then-first lady for her shameless prevarications. These included what sure looked like bribery (“cattle futures”), defrauding taxpayers (“Whitewater”), obstructing justice – or, rather, “finding” her Rose Law Firm billing records (under subpoena for two years) just days after the statute of limitations ran out – among other corrupt behaviors that must have slightly suppressed Hillary-admiration that same year. The phrase remains apt.

“I remember landing under sniper fire,” Clinton declared on the presidential campaign trail in 2008, describing a 1996 trip to Bosnia. “There was supposed to be some kind of a greeting ceremony at the airport, but instead we just ran with our heads down (chuckles) to get into the vehicles to get to our base.” It was a vivid but debunkable whopper, as CBS footage of the event proved. In reality, Clinton, accompanied by daughter Chelsea, made her ceremonial way into Bosnia through a warm throng marked by smiling faces and a kiss from a local girl – not bullets. Admirable?

On a more nationally significant level, Clinton recently supported President Obama’s Big Lie that a movie trailer of “Innocence of Muslims” on YouTube “resulted” (her word) in the September attack on the U.S. compound in Benghazi, Libya – a concerted falsehood for which neither Clinton nor Obama nor former CIA Director David Petraeus has yet answered. Even several days after intelligence agencies determined that a planned assault, not a video-driven protest, had taken place, Clinton went so far as to promise a grieving Charles Woods, father of slain former SEAL Tyrone Woods, that “we” were going to have the video maker “arrested and prosecuted.”

Why was Clinton still perpetuating the false narrative that the exercise of free speech under the First Amendment, not Islamic jihad, had resulted in the attack? Was that admirable? Clinton has lately let it be known that she will voluntarily testify about Benghazi following her hospitalization for a blood clot, but I seriously doubt whether mere House members will risk asking this crucial question of the Most Admired Woman in America, especially now that she has risen from her sickbed. If they don’t, they’re not admirable, either.

Meanwhile, the video maker, Nakoula Basseley Nakoula, was indeed arrested and swiftly prosecuted, and is now serving one year in jail for “parole violations.” His incarceration, however, is better understood as punishment for violating the Islamic ban on free speech about Islam. To be sure, one year is nothing compared to the death penalty an Egyptian court recently slapped on Nakoula and other Americans associated with the movie in absentia – and without a peep of protest from the Obama administration, including Clinton.

The fact is, Hillary Clinton has worked assiduously with the Islamic bloc nations, known as the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), to promote Islamically correct speech codes through the so-called Istanbul Process. The goal of this process – and the goal of transnational Islam – is to implement Shariah speech codes via U.N. Human Rights Council Resolution 16/18, which seeks to criminalize “defamation” – free speech – about Islam. In leading this drive against free speech, Hillary Clinton is actually leading a drive against the First Amendment.

Most Americans don’t know about the Istanbul Process, let alone how Islamic speech codes are unconstitutional, but it is this policy against free speech that may stand as Clinton’s enduring legacy as secretary of state. It is of a piece with having presided over, first, the shredding of U.S. alliances with Egypt’s Hosni Mubarak and Libya’s Moammar Gadhafi and then supporting jihadist factions and organizations, such as the Muslim Brotherhood, now implementing Islamic law across the Middle East. This, of course, is President Obama’s policy, but Hillary Clinton has been an active team player.

Another aspect of this same foreign policy Clinton has spearheaded is the launch of the Global Counterterrorism Forum. The forum’s roster of 29 nations plus the European Union is stunning for its exclusion of Israel, a leading counterterrorism force as much as it is a leading terrorism victim. But not so, according to Islamic definitions. Knowingly or not, as a leader of this forum, one-third of whose members come from the Islamic bloc, Clinton has accepted the Arab League and OIC definitions of terrorism, which both deny the existence of Israeli victims (sometimes U.S. soldiers) and legitimize the terrorism of Hamas, a wing of the Muslim Brotherhood, and Hezbollah.

How could this be? What influences have led Clinton to formulate or follow such policies? We don’t know, although it is hard not to wonder about the input of top Clinton aide Huma Abedin, a young woman with well-established familial and personal ties to Muslim Brotherhood figures and front groups (including a “charity” linked to al-Qaida and a group banned in Israel for ties to Hamas). Indeed, what may be most astounding and mysterious about Clinton’s whole public tenure is how Abedin ever received the security clearance necessary to work so closely with the secretary of state.

Even broaching such a simple if burning national security question, as Rep. Michele Bachmann and others discovered last summer, is also a banishable offense. After all, Hillary Clinton is our MAW!

That’s life. But it isn’t admirable.

Tea Party Nation: A bipartisan report by the Senate Homeland Security and Government Affairs Committee, “Flashing Red: A Special Report on the Terrorist Attack at Benghazi,” finds that the State Department made “a grievous mistake” in not permanently or temporarily closing the U.S. Consulate in Benghazi, Libya, “despite the inability of the Libyan government to fulfill its duties to secure the facility [and] the increasingly dangerous threat assessments” – and that there were no contingency plans to get military help to Benghazi in the event of an attack against U.S. facilities, The Washington Times reports.

In mid-December, an investigation of the terror attack ordered by Secretary of State Hillary Clinton also concluded that because of “[s]ystemic failures and leadership and management deficiencies” the security posture at the Benghazi consulate was “grossly inadequate to deal with the attack that took place” and that there had been “no protest” prior to the attack. Curiously, Clinton was not asked what she knew about the attack as it unfolded or the next morning – at which point, she had made two statements about “inflammatory material posted on the Internet” as being the cause – or even in the following days, as her repeated references to a “reprehensible video” touched off violent protests at U.S. embassies in more than two dozen countries.

Thanks to a well-timed concussion – that reportedly occurred when dehydration from a bout of “stomach flu” (an idiomatic expression for gastroenteritis, which is caused by a virus, bacteria, parasites in spoiled food or contaminated water), contracted in Europe caused Clinton to faint – she will not be testifying on these and other murky matters before Congress any time soon. Former United Nations envoy John Bolton called Clinton’s malady a “diplomatic illness” that allowed her to duck an unpleasant duty; to the New York Post “Clinton’s story beggars belief”; and talk radio host Laura Ingraham dubbed her injury an “immaculate concussion.” Count The Stiletto amongst the skeptics for many reasons – all medical, not political – some of which she stated in a succession of Facebook posts on December 15^th, including these two:

Dehydration to the degree that causes loss of consciousness should be accompanied by an electrical disturbance in the brain if not an outright epileptic seizure and/or a heart rhythm abnormality because of a severe electrolyte imbalance. Or she could have had an ischemic stroke, as she is rather overweight and underexercised. Or she could have fainted because of advanced mitral valve prolapse. These are all very serious medical issues that require diagnostic testing w/MRI and EEG scans, blood chemistry and cardiac rhythm monitoring to determine if a heart rhythm disturbance threw off a clot that went to the brain. If none of this testing is done over next 48 hours then I call bullsh*t on this very convenient concussion. …

Bottom line: A woman her age who faints would be kept in the hospital for a couple of days to undergo a battery of cardiac and brain scans, bloodwork and other assessments. If this testing is not done it suggests her medical issue (a) never happened; (b) isn't serious enough to prevent her from testifying before Congress; or (c) meant to ensure that there is no evidence to contradict a claim that she cannot remember the Benghazi episode clearly apart from what she read in the media so as not to foreclose this avenue of being able to avoid perjury charges should she ever be compelled to testify in a Congressional probe or a civil lawsuit brought by the parents of any of the four Americans killed in Benghazi.

Clinton was hospitalized Sunday night to get the testing she should have had when she fainted two weeks ago – the CDC advises, “a brief loss of consciousness should be taken seriously” and the NIH considers fainting amongst “emergency symptoms” requiring “immediate medical care.” But the statement given to the press about Clinton’s hospitalization Sunday night raised additional questions because her spokesperson Philippe Reines refused to state the location of the blood clot doctors found “during an exam to follow up on a concussion she suffered.”

The next day, Reines confirmed that the blood clot is inside her skull, but had not caused a stroke or other neurological damage, The Washington Post reports:

“The scan revealed that a right transverse sinus venous thrombosis had formed. This is a clot in the vein that is situated in the space between the brain and the skull behind the right ear,” the statement said. …

Doctors Lisa Bardack of the Mt. Kisco Medical Group and Gigi El-Bayoumi of George Washington University said they are treating Clinton with blood thinners and that she will remain hospitalized until her medication regimen is established.

“Right transverse sinus venous thrombosis” is an artful way of referring to a rare type of stroke – known variously as cerebral venous sinus thrombosis (CVST), cerebral venous and sinus thrombosis, (superior) sagittal sinus thrombosis, dural sinus thrombosis and intracranial venous thrombosis – that can be caused by infection, dehydration and local trauma, amongst other predisposing factors. How unusual is Clinton’s case? CVST accounts for 0.5 percent to 1 percent of strokes; 22 percent of cases occur in those age 50 and older; 8-10 percent of cases are associated with infections; CVST caused by trauma is so uncommon as to be thought of as a freak occurrence.

Because CVST is what doctors call a “zebra” – and in a patient Clinton’s age, you’re looking at an albino zebra – delays in diagnosis are “common and significant,” according to The American Heart Association: “The median delay from onset of symptoms to hospital admission was 4 days, and from symptom onset to diagnosis, it was 7 days.” The main symptom is headache, which gets progressively worse until a patient seeks medical care; seizures and vision loss are also common symptoms.

Unlike other blood clots in the brain, CVST is treated with blood thinners rather than with a procedure that is similar to clearing a blocked coronary artery. Clinton was discharged from the hospital Wednesday evening, and is expected to recover from CVST without lasting impairment – but it may be a different story for the concussion that caused the complication in the first place.

A concussion can cause memory loss (amnesia) of events before or right after the injury, and recovery could take several months, during which time difficulty concentrating and memory problems could persist. Clinton plans to return to work next week, and an anonymous State Department source insists that she “remains committed” to testifying before Congress. But it seems a pointless exercise if she can’t remember key details – which obviates the plans of Senate Republicans to hold up Sen. John Kerry’s confirmation as her replacement until they hear her side of the Benghazi story.

And if she is compelled to answer an interrogatory or to testify in a wrongful death suit brought by one or more of the families of the Americans killed in the Benghazi attack, Clinton can – hypothetically, of course – perjure herself at will by prefacing her testimony with a caveat that her recollections have been affected by her brain injury. It’s easy to see who’s got all the brains in the Clinton family.

We are being played in typical Clinton fashion with the liberal media running interference at every point.  Former United Nations’ Ambassador John Bolton recognized the game from day one but few in the media, beside Fox News, aired his comments; the few who did attacked him.

Egyptian Magazine Affirms Brotherhood infiltration of White House

Claims 6 American Muslims have strong influence on U.S. policy

WND: Effectively affirming the concerns of five much-maligned Republican House members and the evidence presented in an investigative book, an Egyptian magazine claims six American Muslim leaders who work with the Obama administration are Muslim Brotherhood operatives who have significant influence on U.S. policy.

Egypt’s Rose El-Youssef magazine, in a Dec. 22 story, said the six men turned the White House “from a position hostile to Islamic groups and organizations in the world to the largest and most important supporter of the Muslim Brotherhood.”

The Egyptian article was translated and reported by the Investigative Project on Terrorism, or IPT.

IPT said that while the story is largely unsourced, it is significant because it raises the issue to Egyptian readers.

The article names Arif Alikhan, assistant secretary of Homeland Security for policy development; Mohammed Elibiary, a member of the Homeland Security Advisory Council; Rashad Hussain, the U.S. special envoy to the Organization of the Islamic Conference; Salam al-Marayati, co-founder of the Muslim Public Affairs Council, or MPAC); Imam Mohamed Magid, president of the Islamic Society of North America, or ISNA; and Eboo Patel, a member of President Obama’s Advisory Council on Faith-Based Neighborhood Partnerships.

Meanwhile, outspoken Republican congressman Louie Gohmert has been pressing for an investigation of the Muslim Brotherhood’s influence on the federal government, contending a probe is necessary because of the Obama administration’s “horrendous decisions” in backing the so-called “Arab Spring” revolutions in the Middle East.

The East Texas lawmaker was one of five Republican Congress members who stirred bipartisan controversy in June by raising concern about Muslim Brotherhood infiltration in the nation’s capital.

The Egypt-based Muslim Brotherhood was formed in the 1920s after the demise of the Ottoman Turkish empire with the intent of helping establish Islamic rule worldwide. It’s stated goal for the U.S. is “a kind of grand jihad” aimed at “eliminating and destroying the Western civilization from within” so that “Allah’s religion is made victorious over all other religions.”

In 2009, the WND Books bestseller “Muslim Mafia: Inside the Secret Underworld that's Conspiring to Islamize America” featured an internal Council on American-Islamic Relations memo written in 2007 that called for infiltrating the “judiciary, intelligence and homeland security committees” by, among other things, “placing Muslim interns” in Capitol Hill offices.

The book also uncovered new evidence that CAIR directly funded Hamas and al-Qaida terrorist fronts.

When the book was released, Rep. Sue Myrick, R-N.C., co-founder of the bipartisan House Anti-Terrorism/Jihad Caucus and a member of the House Permanent Select Committee On Intelligence, pointed out at a press conference in Washington that groups such as CAIR and the Islamic Society of North America “have a proven record of senior officials being indicted and either imprisoned or deported from the United States.”

She noted evidence presented at the trial of the Texas-based Muslim charity Holy Land Foundation, convicted of funding Hamas, exposed CAIR, ISNA and others as front groups for the Muslim Brotherhood in the United States.

Myrick exposed the absence of a formal vetting process by Congress for screening radical Muslims invited to work or pray or speak at the Capitol. CAIR, consequently, placed a number of employees within the Capitol, including known terrorists and terrorist suspects.

CAIR Executive Director Nihad Awad, for example, invited al-Qaida terrorist Anwar Awlaki to speak and pray at the Capitol. Awad also helped get Awlaki into the Pentagon within months of Awlaki assisting the 9/11 hijackers, Catherine Herridge revealed in her book “The Next Wave.”

The Egyptian magazine noted Alikhan is a founder of the World Islamic Organization, identifying it as a Brotherhood “subsidiary,” IPT reported.

Alikhan was responsible for the “file of Islamic states” in the White House and provides the direct link between the Obama administration and the Arab Spring revolutions of 2011, according to the magazine.

Elibiary, as WND reported in October 2011, was singled out by Gohmert at a House hearing. The Republican congressman confronted Department of Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano with a charge that Elibiary, who had a security clearance as a member of the DHS advisory council, accessed a federal database and shopped sensitive reports to a left-leaning media outlet to publicize his claim that the department is promoting “Islamophobia”

Elibiary, president and CEO of the Freedom and Justice Foundation of Carrollton, Texas, has been a strong supporter of the radical Islamic theologian Sayyid Qutb, whose teachings inspired and continue to govern al-Qaida and Islamic jihadist organizations worldwide.

Former assistant U.S. Attorney Andrew McCarthy documents that the DHS advisory group helped devise the new Obama counterterrorism strategy. McCarthy, who prosecuted the perpetrators of the 1993 World Trade Center bombing, said the strategy “has law-enforcement pare back their intelligence-gathering activities and take their marching orders from ‘community partners.’”

WND reported in 2004 that Elibiary spoke at a conference that honored the founder of the Iranian Islamic revolution, Ayatollah Khomeini. Elibiary has strongly criticized the U.S. government’s prosecution of fundraisers for Hamas and is a defender of CAIR.

He has criticized the U.S. government’s prosecution and conviction of the Holy Land Foundation and five former officials for providing more than $12 million to Hamas, characterizing the case as a defeat for the United States.

The Egyptian magazine, Rose El-Youssef, said Rashad Hussain maintained close ties with people and groups in the Muslim Brotherhood network in America. He took part, the magazine noted, in the June 2002 annual conference of the American Muslim Council, formerly headed by convicted terrorist financier Abdurahman Alamoudi.

He also was on the organizing committee of the Critical Islamic Reflection along with key Brotherhood figures such as Jamal Barzinji, Hisham al-Talib and Yaqub Mirza.

MPAC’s al-Marayati has been among the most influential Muslim American leaders in recent years, IPT pointed out. The Egyptian magazine shows the links between MPAC and the international Muslim Brotherhood infrastructure.

Obama appointed Magid, chief of the Muslim Brotherhood-founded ISNA, as an adviser to the Department of Homeland Security. Magid also has also given speeches and conferences on American Middle East policy at the State Department and offered advice to the FBI, the Egyptian magazine said.

Patel maintains a close relationship with Tariq Ramadan, the grandson of Muslim Brotherhood founder Hasan al-Banna, Rose El-Youssef reported. He’s a member of the Muslim Students Association, which was identified as a Muslim Brotherhood front group in a 1991 document introduced into evidence during the Holy Land Foundation trial.

Investigation warranted

In July, Gohmert, along with Rep. Michele Bachmann, R, Minn., and three other Republican House members, pointed to Hillary Clinton’s top aide, Huma Abedin, as a possible Muslim Brotherhood influence on U.S. policy. The lawmakers asked the inspector generals at the departments of Homeland Security, Justice and State to investigate, prompting Democrats and Republicans to rush to Abedin’s defense.

However, as WND reported, Abedin worked for an organization founded by her family that is effectively at the forefront of a grand Saudi plan to mobilize U.S. Muslim minorities to transform America into a strict Wahhabi-style Islamic state, according to an Arabic-language manifesto issued by the Saudi monarchy. Abedin also was a member of the executive board of the Brotherhood’s Muslim Student Association.

The internal memo said Muslim Brotherhood members “must understand that their work in America is a kind of grand jihad in eliminating and destroying the Western civilization from within and ‘sabotaging’ its miserable house by their hands and by the hands of the believers so that it is eliminated and Allah’s religion is made victorious over all other religions.”

Gohmert and other advocates for an investigation of the Muslim Brotherhood’s influence on the U.S. government argue a simple reading of security clearance guidelines in reference to Huma Abedin’s family would warrant investigation.

The Center for Security Policy notes that security clearance guidelines for federal employees state a “security risk may exist when an individual’s immediate family, including cohabitants and other persons to whom he or she may be bound by affection, influence, or obligation are not citizens of the United States or may be subject to duress.”

The guidelines express concern for any “association or sympathy with persons or organizations that advocate the overthrow of the United States Government, or any state or subdivision, by force or violence or by other unconstitutional means.”

Nevertheless, Washington Post columnist Dana Milbank has suggested researchers and lawmakers who have presented evidence of the Muslim Brotherhood ties of Abedin and her family are motivated by racism. He commented in a column that it’s “hard to escape the suspicion” that the charges have “something to do with the way she looks and how she worships.”

Sen. John McCain, R-Ariz., called the request for an investigation of Abedin and her family a “sinister” and “nothing less than an unwarranted and unfounded attack on an honorable woman, a dedicated American and a loyal public servant.”

The Council Has Spoken! This Week’s Watcher’s Council Results

The Council Has Spoken! The votes have been cast, and the results are in for this week’s Watcher’s Council match up.

Even taking into consideration the normal high level of quality in both the Council and Non-Council entries, this was a tough call with some exceptional pieces to choose from, and the close vote tallies reflect it.

The Blaze aired a special last week in two parts called The Project. Part 1 is here and Part 2 is here.

As I have contended from the very beginning, Obama and his minions are corrupt beyond belief. It is my belief that Obama is actively facilitating the Muslim Brotherhood and radical Islam in an effort to bring America to her knees and usher in not only Sharia law, but a worldwide caliphate. This week, I am going to summarize for you the content of The Project and what it means to Americans. Time is growing short, we are entering the third and final phase of a very, very evil plan.

In 2001, an Islamic manifesto called The Project was discovered in Switzerland. This document is a plan to carry out a quiet coup within the United States through indoctrination, subversion and infiltration at all levels of our government and through key positions in education and other influential positions such as the media. Fast forward to 2008 and the Holyland Foundation Trial. This showcased the largest terror financing trial in US history. There are 80 boxes of evidence, including The Project, that have been made available by our government to the accused enemies of America, but which, to this day, are being withheld from our leaders and the American people. Barack Obama, Eric Holder and Janet Napolitano cite national security, but have given the terrorists a free pass to review the documents. I contend, that if they haven’t already done so, that Obama and his colleagues will destroy those documents because they implicate Obama and his administration in outright treason by aiding and abetting the Muslim Brotherhood. If Obama loses this election, he will most likely do two things: 1) He will release the Blind Sheik and 2) he will have those 80 boxes of documents destroyed if he hasn’t done so already. Obama will remain faithful to his Muslim roots and his anti-colonialist leanings. Remember Obama’s words:

”The future must not belong to those who slander the prophet of Islam.”

The Real War on Women

While attacking Romney, Obama continues to largely ignore abuses in the Muslim world

For the greater part of this election cycle, we’ve heard a good deal from the left about a fictional Republican “war on women.” Everyone from President Obama himself to Georgetown-law-student-turned-Democratic-mouthpiece Sandra Fluke has tried to convince female voters that Mitt Romney is hostile to the female portion of the electorate.

But thousands of miles away, there is a real war on women. It is one that Obama and his supporters would prefer to ignore.

In the same region where four Americans, including U.S. Ambassador to Libya Christopher Stevens, were brutally murdered on Sept. 11, women suffer each and every day. Radical Islamic thugs were behind the fatal attack in Benghazi, as well as the riots that spread across the Middle East; Muslim females, however, are persecuted and oppressed not by terrorists, but by their own communities, governments and even families.

Obtaining insurance-covered contraceptives (a big concern for the American left) is the least of these women’s worries. Instead, females in many Muslim countries are focused on having their bodies fully covered from head to toe, aren’t allowed to drive and cannot leave their homes without the supervision of a male family member. Laws and cultural norms vary from country to country, but it is undeniable that, as a whole, the Muslim world has a serious problem with how women are treated.

In the wake of the 9/11 attacks, Time magazine investigated this problem in an article called “The Women of Islam,” a piece that remains relevant today. It diagnoses the problem as a profound one, dating back centuries: “The Koran allots daughters half the inheritance of sons. It decrees that a woman’s testimony in court, at least in financial matters, is worth half that of a man’s. Under Shari’a, or Muslim law, compensation for the murder of a woman is half the going rate for men.

“In many Muslim countries, these directives are incorporated into contemporary law. For a woman to prove rape in Pakistan, for example, four adult males of ‘impeccable’ character must witness the penetration, in accordance with Shari’a,” writes Lisa Beyer.

And while all religions must grapple with how to integrate ancient texts, with their sometimes-outdated notions, into modern life, the Muslim world seems to have done far too little in this regard,

Take, for example, Islam’s attitude toward domestic abuse, with the Koran (sura 4:34), which has been “interpreted to say that men have ‘pre-eminence’ over women or that they are ‘overseers’ of women and that the husband of an insubordinate wife should first admonish her, then leave her to sleep alone and finally beat her,” as Beyer chillingly wrote.

Not much has changed in the decade or so since. It was only two years ago when Time magazine ran the horrific and now infamous cover picture of, Aisha, an Afghan woman with her nose and ears cut off by the Taliban for fleeing her abusive in laws.

There is no excuse for this kind of medieval behavior in the 21st century. And yet it goes on. As Riffat Hassan, professor of religious studies at the University of Louisville, told Beyer, “The way Islam has been practiced in most Muslim societies for centuries has left millions of Muslim women battered bodies, minds and souls.”

The Arab Spring, which Obama has celebrated, has hardly been a boon for women. In fact, quite the opposite. “For many Egyptian women, sexual harassment — which sometimes turns into violent mob-style attacks — is a daily fact of life,” reports the BBC. One blogger calls the harassment of women in the post-Moammar Khadafy Libya as “out of control.”

It seems, then, that the “revolutions” in the region have only empowered fanatics to take their misogyny further out into the open. To her credit, Secretary of State Clinton has acknowledged this violence, but Obama has largely ignored it, even seemingly aligning himself with the culprits by hosting the Muslim Brotherhood at the White House.

Writes Mark Whittington for Yahoo, “It seems the Obama administration is capable of accusing Republicans of hating women for not wanting to see the Catholic Church hand out free birth control contrary to the Church’s doctrine. While it is doing this, it is treating with a terrorist group that has as its governing platform the imposition of Shari’a Law, which would send Egyptian women into lives of degradation and oppression.”

Worst of all is that thousands of Muslim women have suffered from female genital mutilation if they don’t comply with these strict rules or have been the victim of honor killings — murders conducted by spouses or family members in the event of misbehavior. There is a growing trend of honor killings happening in the U.S., as well.

This, too, demands attention from the administration. But the silence has been deafening.

Let’s not even wade into the issue of homosexuality, which can be met with death or imprisonment in many Muslim countries — yet Obama supporters are preoccupied with painting the right as anti-gay for opposing gay marriage, a position President Obama and Joe Biden held until recently.

But the left would rather forget these inconvenient truths. The Obama administration is comfortable railing against Mitt Romney, Paul Ryan and some Republicans for sticking to their peaceful religious beliefs, traditional though they may be, but refuses to call out the Muslim world for sticking to its own outdated prejudices.

In fact, when he went to Cairo in 2009, Obama praised Islam for sharing the West’s principles of “justice and progress; tolerance and the dignity of all human beings.” He is clearly uncomfortable admitting that there are violent strains of Islam that want nothing more than to hurt not only Americans, but women living in their own countries.

Rather than appease the violent strains of religious extremism, Americans of all political affiliations (as well as peaceful Muslims) should band together for what we support: the advancement of women and tolerance for everyone. Radical Islam is a threat to more than just females; it’s determined to kill and to eradicate freedom all over the world.

The real issue is the tolerance of the intolerant. If President Obama, many on the left and the media truly cared about women’s rights, they would acknowledge the real war on women instead of tip-toeing around it for political gain. A true champion of women’s rights stands up for all women, all of the time, not just when it’s expedient in an election year.

Al Arabiya News: Tuesday’s attack by armed men in the eastern city of Benghazi came amid a wave of protests in the Muslim world against a U.S.-made amateur Internet film deemed insulting to the Prophet Mohammed. (Reuters)

Last week, I warned of the gathering storm clouds of World War III. This week, the ponderous gears of war were set into motion by Jihadists in the name of Allah across the planet. The trigger was said to be an amateurish YouTube video that Muslims found offensive. May I just say, bull crap. The attacks in Libya and Cairo were well planned and executed. The riots in 20+ countries across the globe were also called for, planned and carried out by Islamic leaders of terror. Al-Qaeda is claiming this is in revenge for the killing of their number two man Sheikh Abu Yahya. This has all the earmarks, by the way, of one of Soros’ colored revolutions.

I find the timing of the video noteworthy and curious. Has anyone looked into who is behind the man who made it? Did anyone really look at his connections or who paid him? I would find that very interesting as this whole catastrophe has the potential of creating that ‘perfect emergency’ that Obama has been pining for. The media is claiming that Nakoula Basseley Nakoula is a Coptic Christian and has also made soft porn movies along with being a real estate agent. It is also said he has previously been convicted of bank fraud. While I have no idea if this is true, I find it convenient that a Christian is blamed for this and then further sullied by the ‘porn’ accusation. The feds are claiming he used the alias ‘Sam Bacile.’ In fact, the words ‘believed to be’ were used when he was taken into custody in an act that I can only describe as Shariah law enforcement. Did I also mention, the guy was a snitch for the feds? America, this is what electing Barack Obama has brought you. He has firmly stayed faithful to his Muslim roots.

Do you really believe this all just ‘happened’ on 9/11? Really? The United States was warned at least 3 days prior to the attack, and by some accounts it was a week. But Hillary Clinton, Barack Obama and their minions did nothing. Unless of course you count drinking and partying abroad as Clinton does in excess and schmoozing with celebrities on Letterman and in Hollywood and Las Vegas as Barack Obama does. Our esteemed leader in chief could not even be bothered to stay awake when our Ambassador was being sodomized, tortured and murdered in a preplanned location where he should have been safe. Three others,including an ex-Navy SEAL were also killed. Obama went to bed and didn’t get briefed till the next day. Meanwhile, our NOC list was taken, outing all those who support America and her activities in that area. Well done. You can now count the lifespan of our intelligence agents that are still over there on an egg timer. Pardon me, but this all looks staged. Take a long look at a Post-American world:

Forget the UN, the Post-American order isn’t a blue flag, it’s a black flag with Mohammed on it. There are far more people in the world who believe in a world order based on the violent ravings of a 7th Century madman than the number of people who believe in a world order based on 19th Century European wishful thinking. And it helps that the supporters of 7th Century violence over 19th Century internationalism are far more willing to use murderous violence to get their way.

Atlas Shrugs

As I understand it, per our daft foreign policy, we don’t have Marines or other military personnel guarding our diplomats. Nope, in our infinite wisdom we leave that to the hosting country’s government and military. Genius! In other words, the fox guarding the chicken coop turned into a wolf and ate his charges and we couldn’t see it coming. Even if we had military there, they wouldn’t have ammo thanks to Hillary Clinton and her drunken mandates.

As of this morning our government is telling our personnel and their families in Tunisia and the Sudan to get out of there as soon as possible. They should be evacuating every American from every Middle Eastern country and place of unrest immediately. That includes our troops. They are being surrounded and set up to be slaughtered. We lost two Marines in Afghanistan at Camp Bastion where they were serving alongside Prince Harry. A number were hurt as well. Those that stormed the base were wearing American uniforms. More attacks are occurring as I write this.

As the White House prepares for a long siege of Arab unrest, Israel is girding her loins for battle as the High Holy Days commence. War games began in the Straight of Hormuz yesterday and will continue for 12 days:

Battleships, aircraft carriers, minesweepers and submarines from 25 nations are converging on the strategically important Strait of Hormuz in an unprecedented show of force as Israel and Iran move towards the brink of war.

These are the largest war games ever undertaken in the region. The world’s leaders and their respective militaries know that war is upon us. And it may be the war to end all wars with nuclear capabilities now strewn across the globe and religious hatred fomenting hundreds of thousands — millions actually — of fanatics. The planet is a ticking time bomb and Obama has lit the fuse.

Iran is gleefully prepping for Armageddon:

Next month, Iran will stage massive military maneuvers of its own, to show that it is prepared to defend its nuclear installations against the threat of aerial bombardment.

The exercise is being showcased as the biggest air defense war game in the Islamic Republic’s history, and will be its most visible response yet to the prospect of an Israeli military strike.

Using surface-to-air missiles, unmanned drones and state-of-the-art radar, Iran’s Revolutionary Guards and air force will combine to test the defenses of 3,600 sensitive locations throughout the country, including oil refineries and uranium enrichment facilities.

Their nuclear weapons are buried deep and hardened. Iran’s theocratic leadership is absolutely willing to see their country turned into glass to further a worldwide Caliphate and the Islamic empire. The chaos and war around the planet is all part of the precursor to welcome back the Twelfth Imam and the End of Days.

Obama refused to answer a reporter if these were acts of war. Think of those who stand to benefit from war:

• Barack Obama could theoretically suspend elections in war time. And then there is the oldie, but goodie martial law. I would not put it past him.
• Russia and China will let Iran do their dirty work for them and then come in and pick up the pieces in the ultimate game of Risk. In their mind, they will control the countries that will fall during the war and they will also control the natural resources and wealth they possess – primarily oil and gas.
• Venezuela and Cuba hope to control the Americas after massive war and terror attacks. Megalomaniacs of a feather…
• Islam figures they will rule the world through a Caliphate and Shariah law.
• George Soros stands to make a literal killing as countries rise and fall. Money and power are his aphrodisiac as well as his son’s.

There are others out there wielding power and money behind the scenes. That’s not a conspiracy – that’s just the plain truth. It has always been that way. Each believes he will win in the end and then kill the others he joined forces with to gain power. Sadly, at this point in time, Russia and China look to be the strongest and are willing to sacrifice the most people. They are also the most brutal and the strongest militarily.

Our problem from the beginning is that we refuse to face evil. America has refused to name our enemy out of political correctness. Our enemies are radical Islam and Communism. It’s not a War on Terror – that is a symptom. Not calling our enemies out is about to get us annihilated.

I am torn as so many of you are. My heart and soul still cries out for retribution over 9/11. I have never felt that we went after the true culprit, which is Iran. We should have finished this war back in the late 70s, early 80s. Now it threatens to engulf us and the civilized world. Our weakness is apparent and our enemies smell blood in the water. But while I suppress the urge to call for the leveling of Iran and other Islamic countries, I know that once we go there, our world will fill with blood and death. It is my belief that Obama will take us to war, not to win it, but to bolster himself politically. He secretly gloats at the thought of Israel’s destruction. He wants America to fall and is helping our enemies achieve that through acts of war.
