A headline blipped by this morning that I’m sure very few took note of, but it caught my attention big time. As Weasel Zippers astutely put it: “Nein, this could open the door for a UN blue beanie.” Indeed this does, because my friends, if they can put a foreign officer in charge of our troops there, what’s to stop them from doing it here?
A German Army brigadier general who recently served with NATO forces in Afghanistan is assuming duties as the chief of staff of U. S. Army Europe, the first time a non-American officer has held that position.
Brig. Gen. Markus Laubenthal, most recently the commander of Germany’s 12th Panzer Brigade in Amberg, and chief of staff of Regional Command North, International Security Assistance Force Afghanistan, will be stationed at USAREUR headquarters, Wiesbaden, Germany. He could report to duty as early as Monday.
Laubenthal also has served as military assistant to the deputy commander of operations and assistant chief of staff of operations for NATO forces in Kosovo.
As the major staff assistant to USAREUR commander Lt. Gen. Donald Campbell, Laubenthal will synchronize the command’s staff activities much as American predecessors have in the past.
“This is a bold and major step forward in USAREUR’s commitment to operating in a multinational environment with our German allies,” said Campbell.
“U. S. and German senior military leaders have been serving together in NATO’s International Security Assistance Force in Afghanistan for years. Sustaining the shared capability from this experience will benefit both the U. S. and German armies,” said Campbell who has headed the Army’s largest and oldest overseas command since 2012.
This is a first, a big one. Never before has a non-American officer held the position of Chief of Staff of US Army Europe. It boggles the mind. So, let me get this straight… we fire our generals, gut our officers and then place a German in charge? WTH? Does anyone else see a problem here?
And it gets better… you know why we did this? To say we are sorry for spying on Germany. I kid you not. All this crap leads back to Snowden. The Administration is saying this appointment is a rare sign of cooperation following recent spying allegations. Oh, you bet it is. This is a brilliant maneuver to subvert our military command and it happened without so much as an ‘excuse me’ or a ‘by my way’ being ushered:

What it is, is a blatant move to allow foreign command and troops eventually to come to American soil. Yep, I said it and Americans better take note. This is a very bad development. What? Didn’t see this coming when Snowden landed on the scene? I did. And Merkel has communist underpinnings in her history and a disturbing bond with Russia. So, tell me again how this helps our national security? The only thing it helps is bringing the UN and NATO into our military’s midst and forcing us into a one world collaboration.
You want fundamental transformation? Look at the ongoing invasion across our Southern border… Look at foreign officers in charge of our troops… Look at Obama’s behind the scenes ties to our enemies and you will discern that where we are heading is very bad indeed. Why are our military officials silent on this? You took an oath, time to honor it. Obama and the US Army just opened the door to the vampiric UN — America do you really want those asshats on your soil?
When you talk to Millenials most don’t know much about history, American or otherwise, most don’t go to church, and most don’t even know much about the background of their own families which generally includes a lack of solid holiday and personal traditions.
Then we, people who know history, love America and the Constitution, go to church or synagogue etc., and who value and want to pass on their family, American, and religious values and holiday traditions scratch our heads when younger people don’t understand why those are important; why they only read escapist and fictional (often dark) books and movies… if they read at all; and why they don’t believe in God or think it is a big deal when a Christmas Tree, Menorah, or worse yet a copy of our Constitution or the Ten Commandments can no longer be displayed in public buildings or the local town square.
We, from the ‘The Greatest Generation’ to the Baby-boomers to the parents right now missed the boat. Everyone was too busy to notice that what made America great and what kept us free and united was being stripped out of our educational system, our activities and our daily lives and was being replaced my mind-numbing activities that were often more fun or just distracting yet often smattered with underlying anti-traditional messages or Propaganda… a book (Kindle)… by Edward Bernays that is a must read for everyone. We stopped talking to each other about things that matter and we stopped passing on to the each next generation what was important to us both personally and collectively, but the Progressives were busy filling the vacuum. And with all the new media, what mattered most has virtually been lost, re-written or replaced in the minds and lives of many in the present and will be lost to most in future generations.
Recently I came across the article Views – The Wonders of Bookstores (below) by novelist Richard Russo. It is this kind of love for knowledge, tradition (including types of medium) and special places and memories that we are no longer cultivating:

Novelist Richard Russo pays homage to the shop where he fell in love with reading — and to the crucial role bookstores can still play in our lives.
The first great bookstore in my life wasn’t really a bookstore. Alvord and Smith was located on North Main Street in Gloversville, N.Y., and if memory serves, they referred to themselves as stationers. I don’t recall the place being air-conditioned, but it was always dark and cool inside, even on a sweltering summer day. In addition to a small selection of books, the store sold stationery, diaries, journals, and high-end fountain and ballpoint-pen sets, as well as drafting and art supplies. The shelves went up and up the walls, and I remember wondering what was in the cardboard boxes beyond my reach. The same things on the shelves below? Other, undreamed-of wonders? Alvord and Smith was a store for people who—though I couldn’t have articulated it at the time—had aspirations beyond life in a grungy mill town. It was never busy.
Because she worked all week, my mother and I ran errands on Saturday mornings, and Alvord and Smith was usually our first stop. There, I’d plop down on the floor in front of the bottom two shelves where the children’s books were displayed: long, uniform phalanxes of the Hardy Boys and Nancy Drew mysteries, as well as the lesser-known but, to my mind, superior Ken Holt and Rick Brant series. I can still remember the thrill of coming upon that elusive number 11 or 17 in my favorite series, the one I’d been searching for for years, now magically there, where it hadn’t been the week before, filling me with wonder at the way the world worked, how you had to wait to the point of almost unbearable longing for the good stuff in life.
Coming out of Alvord and Smith, blinking in the sunlight, you could see all the way down Main Street to South Main, where the gin mills and pool hall were. Outside these stood dusky, shiftless, idle men, flexing at the knees and whistling at the pretty women who passed by. Occasionally my father was among them. Later, when I turned 18, I would join him in those same dives. Like the stationery store, they were cool and dark and mysterious, and for a while I preferred them, though I never really belonged. That’s what I’d felt as a boy, sitting on the floor at Alvord and Smith, touching, lovingly, the spines of books: Here was a place I belonged.
Many people love good bookstores, but writers? We lose our heads over them. We tell stories about them. We form lifelong attachments to our favorites. We do not hate e-books—well, okay, some of us do—but we owe our careers, at least my generation of writers do, to the great independents, so many of them long gone now. Those that remain gamely continue to fight the good fight, even as customers increasingly treat their stores as showrooms, then go home and surrender to the online retailer’s chilly embrace. They point and click and, without meaning to, undermine the next generation of writers and the one after that. Because it’s independent booksellers who always get the word out (as they did for me).
I’m an old fart, of course, more at home with paper and print than touch screens, and yes, I agree with those who argue that in the end it’s more about the message than the medium. But to me bookstores remain places of wonder. Like libraries, they’re the physical manifestation of the world’s longest, most thrilling conversation. The people who work in them will tell you who’s saying what. If you ask, they’ll tell you what Richard Russo’s up to in his new one, but more important, they’ll put in your hand something you just have to read, by someone you’ve never heard of, someone just entering the conversation, who wants to talk to you about things that matter.
Online media… from novels to textbooks can be lost, changed and rewritten over-night. In fact at many of the colleges and universities, the professors now have the ability to edit the books online that they assign to their students without notice. That should be frightening to everyone! Instead of teaching from original sources we are allowing liberal professors, or professors of any bent, to re-write any authors’ works.
And what about photos… How many people do you know that no longer print their photos and somewhere along the way have lost every single one because they weren’t backed up?
And the art of letter writing, keeping journals or even sending a quick handwritten note with a card or photo is almost extinct. Yet how many beautiful and tragic histories would we not know if someone hadn’t kept a bundle of love letters (Kindle) or found the diary of a little girl named Anne Frank (Kindle)?
What if over night the grids we are all connected to mysteriously go off line, through a manmade or natural disaster? What would you have left if every form of media and communication you have and had was on your computer, your phone, your a kindle type device? Verses… what would you have left is you had printed photos, printed books, handwritten letters and journals? It is certainly something to ponder!! One only needs to watch Mad Max (Trilogy) or The Book of Eli [Blu-ray] to promote that thought process…
If you look at every aspect of American life, you will see the changes and many not for the better. It has been a process that has been going on for a long time, but with the election of Obama and the appointments of his like minded-administration, the process has been accelerated not only in speed, but into a final phase. And if there is any hope of turning this cycle around it lies in the laps of grandparents, concerned parents do know and see what is going on, patriotic American willing to stand up at every opportunity, history buffs, educators who haven’t been brainwashed and pulled into the Common Core myth and the religious community who need to engage our youth, our children and adults willing to listen immediately.

Knowing that we would wind up here does not take a crystal ball. Many have predicted just this scenario, including myself. War is the ultimate solution of leaders who find themselves in a variety of rock and hard place situations. And Barack Obama has stuffed America in the hardest place of all, sealed us in with nuclear weapons and has lit a very short fuse.
Let’s start with the coming race war that the progressives at home are stoking for all they are worth. You saw the ginned up fiasco of the Zimmerman case where Obama claimed that Trayvon Martin could have been his son and then claimed he actually could have been Trayvon Martin — thereby personalizing the racial conflict out of a non-existent racial confrontation. Then we had the Australian, Chris Lane, being shot in the back while jogging last week by three teenagers – 2 black, one mixed. We had a WWII vet named Shorty (88 years-old) beaten to death with flashlights by 2 young black men in Spokane, Washington. Someone was set on fire in a parking lot in Memphis, Tennessee. A young white boy was savagely beaten on a school bus by several black kids and the list goes on and on. This doesn’t begin to list what has been happening for a while now with black on white crime. All of this can be laid directly at the feet of Barack Obama, Eric Holder, Al Sharpton, Jesse Jackson, Oprah Winfrey and a whole raft of race baiters who have an agenda that envisions race riots in the streets and a new order being born in America.
An employee named Ayo Kimathi, who is the Acquisitions Officer at ICE for the Department of Homeland Security, has a hate-filled, racially motivated site named War on the Horizon that talks about the coming race war. His handle is ‘Irritated Genie.’ The site had to be approved by DHS and the employee has been with the government agency since 2009. He is now on paid leave, which means nothing. It means at some point they will quietly bring this evil race monger back like nothing ever happened. The best part is that this person is the one who ordered ammo and guns for the DHS.
According to reports, this guy is unstable and everyone in the office is afraid of him. He calls President Obama a “treasonous mulatto scum dweller” and rants about whites and their ”effeminization of the black male.”
“The 21st century will either mark the return of Black resistance to white domination or global white-on-Black genocide leading to our complete extinction,” the website declares. “Warfare is eminent, and in order for Black people to survive the 21st century, we are going to have to kill a lot of whites – more than our christian hearts can possibly count.”
On its main page, War on the Horizon says preparing for racial warfare includes “intellectual, spiritual, psychological, and physical preparation for a global clash that will mean the end of white rule on this planet or the end of the Black Race as we know it. ”
Under the June 2010 article “Goodbye Uncle Tom,” the website lists Rev. Al Sharpton, a “sadistic political white-sex offender…who advocates ‘homosexuality’ among Black people”; Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas and former Secretary of State Colin (spelled “Colon”) Powell who will “indirectly assist in the genocide of Black people; Oprah Winfrey, a “wealthy lesbian mammy” who does “everything in her power to assist whites in destroying strong Black manhood; as well as “all rappers,” “all political homos” and “all promoters and supporters of interracial dating/marriage/sex.”
“We must become militant, hostile, violent, and deadly to those individuals and groups in our community who don’t comply to Black decency and Race First standards. We cannot continue to be Black people with white behavior. – Black Afrikans Only!” the website states. “…Once we have largely purged our Race of its Race traitors, war with our natural enemy, the white Race, will intensify and become the single most powerful motivating force in the lives of Afrikan people worldwide.”
Why would you knowingly have someone like this in a government agency with the responsibility and power this guy had? He has been with them four years and the site was approved — so regardless of what they claim, they knew of his inclinations. I would put forth that this is just the kind of individual they want around — one who is extreme and wants violence. One who hates America in general. The fact that he hates most African Americans as well is just a minor annoyance or a contrivance. This is what we have controlling our country now. We have radical Islamists, black power racists, progressives, Marxists, communists and every imaginable corrupt, evil recruit they can find. America has gone to the dark side and we are fighting in the shade. War is coming to America’s streets and neighborhoods and our leaders are the delivery boys.
By now everyone has heard of the supposed chemical attack by Assad in Syria on his own people. I have seen reports of up to 355 dead with 3600 sickened — many being women and children. If true, that is horrific. But there is serious doubt about it being true. The last reported chemical attack turned out to be false and numerous experts claim this one is too.
I have no love of Assad — he’s an evil man, heading an evil regime. But the rebels are composed of al Qaida and the Muslim Brotherhood and are every bit as evil. Much the same can be said of our current government as well. They want this war; it creates worldwide chaos that they desperately need to reset a looted and plundered monetary system and to reform governments closer to their heart’s desire. I’m not the only one who sees this either. From Michael Rivero:
1. Why would Syria’s Assad invite United Nations chemical weapons inspectors to Syria, then launch a chemical weapons attack against women and children on the very day they arrive, just miles from where they are staying?
2. If Assad were going to use chemical weapons, wouldn’t he use them against the hired mercenary army trying to oust him? What does he gain attacking women and children? Nothing! The gain is all on the side of the US Government desperate to get the war agenda going again.
As I type these words, US trained and equipped forces are already across the border into Syria, and US naval forces are sailing into position to launch a massive cruise missile attack into Syria that will surely kill more Syrians than were claimed to have died in the chemical attack.
And he is right. I would suggest there is a strong possibility here of a set-up and an agenda for a much needed war. I would not put it past Assad to use chemical weapons, but it looks too pat and doesn’t make sense. I have seen on the web many, many pictures of dead children from the chemical attacks playing on the sympathies of the world. This is an old, tried and true technique of garnering sympathy in order to do unspeakable things.

Make no mistake, employing the Doctrine of Responsibility to Protect, we are readying for an attack on Syria. Samantha Power, who missed the last UN meeting, was resting up for the conflict ahead. We are moving our warships closer to Syria in preparation for missile attacks when Obama gives his blessing.
Iran and Syria are warning that if we attack Syria, it will set the whole Middle East on fire. I fear that is true. Should we attack Syria, by proxy, we will be attacking Iran and Russia. Qatar and Saudi Arabia will back the US, but only so far and for so long. Hello all-out World War III. China will either wait to pick up the pieces or back Russia. Obama has gutted and severely weakened our military — a full-scale war will cause a further financial collapse in the US and the odds of us prevailing are very poor. Americans overwhelmingly oppose attacking Syria, not that it matters to our Islamist-in-Chief.
Now Britain and France are beating the war drums along with the US. They believe intervening in the Middle East and setting it on fire will cure the world’s economic woes. They have severely underestimated the Jihadists and the plans that Russia has set in motion. Russia must be over the moon with this because it gives them leeway to further their capture of the Middle Eastern territories for land, power, wealth and resources. And as an added bennie, they think they may rid themselves of the Jews and America. Maybe America, never the Jews. Russia is rising in the Middle East and making alliances in the void of leadership America is leaving behind. Already they have wooed Egypt — China is doing the same thing across the planet. Obama wants this — he can destroy America while credibly denying and blaming others. It’s the progressive way.
This all has the feel of the amateur video used as an excuse for Benghazi — it doesn’t pass the smell test. It’s the same players and the same board. Do you think our leaders really give a crap about 355 people supposedly dead in Syria? Come on! Thousands have died. It is way too convenient an excuse to go to war. So, while we point the finger at Assad and ready for war, Americans are besieged from every side with chaos and evil at home, so much so they don’t know what to do or what to think. Just the way Obama wants it.
If this war unfolds (as it will almost assuredly do), tighten your belts. Forget $10 a gallon gas, you’ll be lucky to get gas. And food? I hope you have some. Please prepare now. Things are about to get very interesting in a bad way. Israel has their finger on the ‘trigger’ and they won’t hesitate to defend themselves. We better get ready to defend ourselves as well. A pale horse brings war at home and abroad.
Incredible… It Just Keeps Getting Worse: The Official in Charge of the IRS Office Responsible for Targeting Conservative Groups Now Heads the Agency’s Obamacare Office
It appears that the official who oversaw the Internal Revenue Service office responsible for targeting conservative groups has moved on from that post and now heads the agency’s Obamacare division.
The Internal Revenue Service official in charge of the tax-exempt organizations at the time when the unit targeted tea party groups now runs the IRS office responsible for the health care legislation.
Sarah Hall Ingram served as commissioner of the office responsible for tax-exempt organizations between 2009 and 2012. But Ingram has since left that part of the IRS and is now the director of the IRS’ Affordable Care Act office, the IRS confirmed to ABC News today.
Her successor, Joseph Grant, is taking the fall for misdeeds at the scandal-plagued unit between 2010 and 2012. During at least part of that time, Grant served as deputy commissioner of the tax-exempt unit.
Grant said Thursday he would resign as commissioner of the Tax Exempt and Government Entities Division on June 3, TheBlaze reported. He was appointed to the post just eight days ago.
Here’s a May 8 press release announcing his extremely short-lived promotion.
But here’s something really interesting: Ingram received more than $100,000 in bonuses between 2009 and 2012, slightly before and well after her office started targeting conservatives, the Washington Examiner’s Mark Tapscott reports.
“Ingram received a $7,000 bonus in 2009,” the Examiner report adds, “then a $34,440 bonus in 2010, $35,400 in 2011 and $26,550 last year for a total of $103,390. Her annual salary went from $172,500 to $177,000 during the same period.”
News that the IRS official heading the agency’s Obamacare office used to run the division responsible for conservative discrimination comes on the heels of House Speaker John Boehner calling for a full repeal of the Affordable Care Act.
“Fully repealing ObamaCare will help us build a stronger, healthier economy, and will clear the way for patient-centered reforms that lower health care costs and protect jobs,” Boehner said shortly after the House passed a “repeal Obamacare” measure.
“Obamacare empowers the agency that just violated the public’s trust by secretly targeting conservative groups,” Rep. Marlin Stutzman (R-In.) added. “Even by Washington’s standards, that’s unacceptable.”
Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell summed up his reaction to the Ingram revelation: “stunning, just stunning.”
Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin posted a lengthy message to her Facebook wall Thursday criticizing the Obama administration for its handling the Benghazi, IRS, and Associated Press phone records scandals:
Scandalous Hat Trick
Mr. President, when it rains it pours, but most Americans hold their own umbrellas. Today in the Rose Garden you dismissed the idea of a Special Counsel to investigate the IRS scandal. With that, your galling political hubris shined bright in the midst of today’s dark clouds.
Mr. President, how can we trust your Justice Department to conduct an independent investigation when there is a systemic violation of the Hatch Act throughout your administration?
Surely you are aware that the Hatch Act prevents certain federal employees from engaging in political activity. Specifically, it’s illegal for these federal employees to engage in action in support of or in opposition to a political party, a candidate for partisan political office, or a partisan political group.
Yet that is exactly what’s happened within the IRS, the Justice Department, and in the Benghazi cover-up. This scandalous hat trick is on your watch. It is not believable that you knew nothing about Obama administration actions in dealing with these scandals. And in regards to Benghazi, when you should have taken appropriate action to save American lives – for instance by calling in the Marines – you were AWOL. Just weeks before the election your team scrubbed the Benghazi talking points in 12 different versions, lied to the American people about some YouTube video being to blame for the deaths of brave Americans who put our country first, and you prove Michael Barone right when he writes, “What actually happened in Benghazi was out of sync with the Obama campaign line.” That’s why you all did what you did. Pure raw politics were at play during a horrific time of loss.
For more evidence of Hatch Act violations right under your nose, simply consider DOJ’s “massive and unprecedented intrusion” into the free press. Do you think they picked up some political talk when tapping the phones in the House press gallery?
Your team is out of control. Those who cannot remember the past and learn from it are doomed to repeat it, and that is exactly what is happening. Look back exactly 40 years ago this week and apply that disheartening chapter of American history to the team you’ve chosen and lead today.
Some of us warned America; we cautioned voters in 2008 that a community organizer with no executive experience and no sense of accountability would be a very poor choice for the nation’s top management position.
Mr. President, you said today that you have “complete confidence” in the Attorney General. America doesn’t. Eric Holder needs to appoint an unbiased Special Counsel to investigate the illegal political action of this administration. And then Eric Holder needs to resign.
Most Americans see ominous dark clouds looming beyond the White House Rose Garden, Mr. President. They’ll roll away only when light is shined on the Obama administration’s antics, and America will only recover when you cease avoiding responsibility in this mission of yours to fundamentally transform America. For that to happen, the press had better learn from their experiences of being duped and provide a deserving public fairer, more intelligent coverage.

George Soros was on CNBC tonight for a rare interview. George Soros mostly spoke about Japan and the BOJ’s new aggressive pro inflation policy. The interview took place at the Institute for New Economic Thinking in Hong Kong. He thinks Japan should have acted long ago to fight deflation while Europe is now making many of the mistakes Japan made 20-25 years ago. Some key points:
What Japan is doing is a sensation. Prime Minister Shinzo Abe broke some of the rules of monetary policy. its a very daring undertaking
European austerity program is actually leading the eurozone into exactly same policy Japan is now trying to escape after 25 years
George Soros noted that the total amount of quantitative easing underway in the Japan is the same as America. However, Japan is only one third the size of the USA. Therefore, the QE in Japan is three times as large as the Fed’s QE in the US.
What Japan is doing is actually quite dangerous…They may not be able to stop it. “If the Japanese yen starts to fall in value and the people of Japan lose faith and don’t want to invest their money in the Yen, they may put their money abroad, which could cause the Yen’s fall to become an avalanche.
When asked about reports that Soros has made a billion by shorting the Japanese Yen, Soros responded ”I think the Bank of Japan is eager to have people do that.”
George Soros says Myanmar is on the right track. It’s a good investment and they need it.
Regarding China, Soros thinks the country probably has the most dynamic market in the world. However, the country has to change it’s growth model, deflate its property bubble.
Watching the Democrat National Convention, as I had the Republican National Convention the week before, (completely opposite in tone) I felt like I was watching one of those 1980’s Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure [just released in Blu—ray perhaps specifically for this occasion]... movies. And when I heard Anderson Cooper say he felt like Debbie Wasserman-Schultz was in an alternative universe it struck me that not only was I watching one, but that is where the Democrat Party had gone and was taking us all to if President Obama is re-elected… to an alternative universe. The next four years would be Bill, Ted, Antonio, Joe, Debbie and Friends taking us all to an Alternative Universe… The Obama Universe from where there would be no return.
The DNC platform, speakers and their points, plus the people behind the scenes pulling the strings are as far left as you can get in American politics and from the response, votes and cheering in the Hall, so are the delegates and much of the Democrat party. Yet America overall, when polled, is still a center right country that believes in God, their religion (primarily Christian), the bill of rights as written, the Constitution as written and value the traditions that have been handed down from our Founding Fathers and generations of average everyday Americans who came before us. Even America’s stand on abortion has shifted right. More Americans now openly say they are pro-life (over 50%) than ever before. Most Americans are against same sex marriage but agree on some type of civil union giving gays the legal rights of married couples and most prefer small government to the vision of Obama and his Chicago crew now in charge. Approximately 43% of Americans consider themselves to be conservatives (this would be even higher and include many more Latinos if it were not for the immigration issue) and only approximately 20% consider themselves liberals. The rest fall into the independent category or the growing category of those who don’t really care about politics, religion or much or anything except their immediate gratification (personally I would put them in the liberal column).
The Democrat party really now represents what only a generation or two ago would have been considered the fringe of American society and their National Convention displayed that. It was overall dismal and disheartening. In fact, the attacks… the extreme focal issues… and the media bias for and by the Democrat party and their speakers were so overwhelming that even some lefties finally spoke out against it. Jon Stewart ran more than one satirical clip on his show focusing on the hypocrisy of the Democrat National Convention. And one of the most covered examples was the discourse between and comments by Anderson Cooper from CNN and the DNC Chair, Debbie Wasserman Schultz, known for her lies and smears, over the issue of the DNC removing God and the support for Israel along with the designation for Jerusalem as their official capital from the DNC platform plus promoting abortion at any stage and for any reason. Cooper declared that Wasserman-Schultz was clearly in an alternative universe. Yet the liberal media overall derided the Republican platform as extreme for standing up for Life, the Constitution and against the using of International, especially Sharia, Law in our courts. But when the group that is supposed to be the watchdog of government misses the spoof on themselves when the real watchdog group Media Research Center handed out ‘Journalists for Obama’ t-shirts, that were gobbled up by media and visitors to their booth at the DNC convention, there isn’t much more to say. Leftist media Obamaworship is alive and well.
When you cannot ‘honestly’ get a 2/3 vote to reinsert the word God (let alone having delegates booing God) into the Democrat Platform or to re-designate Jerusalem as the official capital of Israel, our strongest ally in the Middle East (said to have been removed in this year’s platform in order for the party to align themselves with the President’s beliefs) as well as two other important provisions about Israel that ‘have not’ been reinstated, and your delegates are seen on film booing God, you know you are looking at a party that has left the founding principles of our nation in the dust bin.
(And the Dems have no problem throwing their own own under the bus… Although the outcome of the amended vote was predetermined because it had become a liability, this incident may have ended ultra-liberal Mayor Villaraigosa’s presidential aspirations.
The DNC was a cross between a love-in and a party for the faithful laced with smears, untruths and lies as their drug of choice, that left the Kool-Aid drinkers and media gushing but everyone else flat or angry. Their favorite convention favor was the t-shirt that was supposed to be a joke. And they highlighted Jimmy Carter, the worst president in US history until Obama, Ted Kennedy whose career was marred by the death (murder) of Mary Jo Koepeckne and Ted’s own poor judgment (at best), impeached womanizing President Bill Clinton who essentially dislikes Obama, and VP Joe Biden who kept saying fact-check me and when they did, he got all Pinocchios, like for his tall tale about Obama’s mother. I kept waiting for them to parade out John Edwards, but swift-boated Jon Kerry, who is the richest man ever to run for president (since George Washington) and only paid 12% in taxes and little to charity was disappointing enough.
Over the past year the Dems had tried to create the notion of a (fake) war on women by conservatives, care of Sandra Fluke and her ilk, which the RNC, if watched, completely negated. But there is a real war on women… WoW by the left which includes their support of gendercide, Sharia Law,and creating dependent women, not to mention the sexism of guys like Democrat leaders Ted Kennedy and Bill Clinton:
Bill Clinton spoke at the Democratic National Convention to save Barack Obama’s failed presidency. But did he instead remind the American people that he mistreated women — from an intern who was the same age of his daughter to his wife who had to grin and bear his infidelity in public? Clinton had sex with an impressionable and vulnerable young woman who was serving as a White House intern. He abused his authority in the same way some teachers abuse their authority by having sex with their students. Then there were the charges of rape by Juanita Broaddrick:
“Michael Isikoff’s book, Uncovering Clinton, and Christopher Hitchens’ book,No One Left to Lie To, argued that Broaddrick’s claim is credible and shows similarities to Paula Jones’ later allegation of sexual harassment. Washington Post columnist Richard Cohen commented, ‘And yet, I cannot get [Broaddrick’s] accusation out of my head. On television, and in interviews with newspaper reporters, Broaddrick appeared credible.’”

Then there’s Democrat Ted Kennedy of Chappaquiddick infamy. The Democrats played a video tribute to the womanizer at the Convention, putting aside his war on women actions. Former Kennedy speechwriter and campaign operative Bob Shrum said in an interview that “over a long period of time” Kennedy was a “a liberal lion, entirely principled” who “could actually get things done.”
A “long period of time” is right. The Chappaquiddick story is so well known that the words “Ted Kennedy” and “Chappaquiddick” are inseparably linked for all time. But there are many people who don’t know the story.
Kennedy was most likely driving under the influence on the evening of July 18, 1969, when he drove his car off Dike Bridge and into Poucha Pond, leaving Mary Jo Kopechne, a young campaign worker, to drown. To add to the tragedy, Kennedy left the scene of the accident and did not report it to the police until 9:45 the next morning. Kennedy hoped to contrive a story that would put Kopechne in the driver’s seat and absolve him of criminal neglect for driving too fast for conditions and under the influence.
Fortunately, no one would go along with this particular lie, although there was still a massive cover-up by the Kennedy political machine to protect the powerful Senator and their own dependent jobs. The Kennedy operatives whisked the other “Boiler Room girls” — who had been with Kennedy and Kopechne at the Lawrence Cottage, where the party was held — off the island and removed any evidence that the senator had been drinking. In addition, the fact of Kennedy’s expired driver’s license disappeared from the Massachusetts motor vehicle office.
Chuck Moss, a journalist for the Detroit News, gets it right in his review of Leo Damore’s Senatorial Privilege: The Chappaquiddick Cover-Up book “reveals the arrogance, the power and the corruption that permitted him to simply walk away into the future, where he can address a nationally televised Democratic convention [in 1988] — on the subject of public morals.”[1]
Let’s not forget John Edwards’s affairs when he was running for the Democrat nomination for president. The media kept the information under wraps like they did for John and Robert Kennedy.
So the next time some Democrat brings up the war on women narrative, just say Kennedy, Clinton, Edwards. Say it over and over again until they start stuttering, go silent, or walk away.
The choice between Barack Obama and Mitt Romney on November 6th could not be clearer. But with the make-up of our county and the issues of national debt and joblessness, even for the those who lean left, the question has to be why is the polling so close? And if it isn’t accurate what will the the voting process and vote counting be like… ? For those of us who believe that the Obama administration has already taken us much further into that alternative universe known as Obamaland this is the the real problem we face. And no matter how many re-counts, new elections or judicial reviews it takes to get it right before calling (or conceding) an election or seating a candidate (President or downline), we must stand our ground. Voter fraud, manipulation and inaccuracies in the vote counting is perhaps the biggest challenge for Election 2012; that and the awareness (or lack of) of the average voter.
A glimpse into Obama’s background, pals and the people who surround him tell us more about who this man really is and why he has put America on such a destructive path.
In Part 1, we discussed Obama’s transformation of America through his actions as President. Now let’s explore some of the real facts about Obama’s upbringing that the media will never tell you.
OBAMA’S BACKGROUND, PALS AND THOSE WHO SURROUND HIM:
Who raised Obama and influenced his ideology and perceptions? For most of us, it begins with our parents. For Obama, however, his father was absent and his mother, a devout Marxist, shipped him off to Hawaii while she remained in Indonesia.
Being raised by his Marxist grandparents, Obama’s grandfather ensured that his mentor would be an influential member of the Communist Party who also happened to be a pornographer and drug user. From age 9 to 18, Obama was mentored by Frank Marshall Davis, Communist Party member number CP47544, who was a hardcore Stalinist with a 600-page FBI file that identified him as being on the FBI’s Security Index.
Obama’s mentor was a subversive, a Communist, a Stalinist – an America-hater through and through.
Investigative journalist’s Trevor Loudon and Cliff Kincaid did what the lamestream media refused to do (most in lamestream may already know Obama’s background, but they will never tell you the truth about him and, as you know, they continue to promote Obama as something he is not).
In 2007, Gerald Horne, a historian at the University of Houston, gave a speech that made the connection between Obama and his childhood mentor, Frank Marshall Davis. Trevor Loudon discovered Mr. Horne’s speech in 2008 while he was researching Obama’s background. Gerald Horne stated:
"...in Hawaii was an African-American poet and journalist by the name of Frank Marshall Davis, who was certainly in the orbit of the CP (Communist Party) -- if not a member -- and who was born in Kansas and spent a good deal of his adult life in Chicago, before decamping to Honolulu in 1948 at the suggestion of his good friend (and Communist Party member) Paul Robeson. Eventually, he befriended another family -- a Euro-American family -- that had migrated to Honolulu from Kansas and a young woman from this family eventually had a child with a young student from Kenya East Africa who goes by the name of Barack Obama, who retracing the steps of Davis eventually decamped to Chicago. In his best selling memoir ‘Dreams From My Father', the author speaks warmly of an older black poet, he identifies simply as "Frank" as being a decisive influence in helping him to find his present identity as an African-American...."
Obama wrote about his mentor, “Frank”, 22 times in his autobiographical book, “Dreams From My Father”.
Investigative journalist Cliff Kincaid decided it was best to go to a Communist to find out whether Frank Marshall Davis was Obama’s childhood mentor. He spoke to Professor Kathryn Takara of the University of Hawaii at Manoa because she knew and wrote about Frank Marshall Davis. Cliff asked her if the “Frank” in Obama’s book is Frank Marshall Davis. She confirmed that, indeed, it is Frank Marshall Davis.
Cliff also interviewed Frank’s biographer, John Edgar Tidwell, who confirmed that Frank Marshall Davis was a member of the Communist Party. Cliff submitted a FOIA request to obtain the 600-page FBI file on Frank and has made the entire file available on his website at USA Survival News.
Lamestream media practically glorifies Communists/Socialists, but definitions of these words help to clarify and ground us in order to overcome the media propaganda:
Communist – One held to engage in left-wing, subversive, or revolutionary activities. An adherent or advocate of a Communist government, party, or movement.
Communism – A doctrine based on revolutionary Marxian socialism and Marxism-Leninism that was the official ideology of the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics. A totalitarian system of government in which a single authoritarian party controls state-owned means of production.
Socialism – A system of society or group living in which there is no private property. A system or condition of society in which the means of production are owned and controlled by the state. Any of various economic and political theories advocating collective or governmental ownership and administration of the means of production and distribution of goods.
Stalinism – The political, economic, and social principles and policies associated with Stalin; especially: the theory and practice of communism developed by Stalin from Marxism-Leninism and marked especially by rigid authoritarianism, widespread use of terror, and often emphasis on Russian nationalism.
Recall that when Obama and his Communist mentor were together in Hawaii when Obama was 9 years old, Hawaii had only become part of the United States on August 21, 1959 – barely over a decade prior. Hawaii was still in its relative infancy in terms of modernizing and adapting to the foundational principles of America. Despite Hawaii’s attempts to diversify, it remains primarily a tourist state.
Suffice it to say that between Obama’s years in Indonesia and Hawaii, he barely experienced “America”. His ideology and perception of the US came from his Communist mentor, his Marxist/Atheist mother and his Marxist grandparents.
Is it any wonder Obama headed off to Occidental College as a hardcore Marxist Revolutionary? This is confirmed by those who knew him at Occidental and even Obama confirms it in his autobiography when he plainly states that he sought out Marxist Professors.
And what was Obama’s profession when he finished school? Basically, he taught community organizers - only the Socialist/Marxist/Communist/Progressive kind - how to employ Saul Alinsky tactics to achieve their destructive goals.
Obama aligned himself with criminals (e.g. Tony Rezko) and radical political arms of the Democratic Party (e.g. ACORN). He supported them in pushing to expand the Community Reinvestment Act under Bill Clinton which led to the collapse of our housing market, and his only noteworthy legal endeavor as an attorney was pushing the motor-voter act which enhanced voter fraud in America.
Other than that, voluntarily retiring his law license, writing books about himself, and voting “present” most of the time as a Jr. Senator, this Marxist Revolutionary man has literally done little else before holding the highest office in the land. Yet he knew exactly what he and his comrades wanted to do to America and his actions prove it.
Bill Ayers and Bernardine Dohrn, also hardcore Marxists who seek the destruction of America, were at Obama’s side in Chicago and, yes, Bill Ayers has visited the White House more than once. George Soros, international financier and felon who pours millions into NGO’s and community organizers who seek to destroy America, is also a White House visitor. Andy Stern, former SEIU President and devout America-hater won the “most visits to the White House” award under the Obama administration. Stephen Lerner, another SEIU America-hater, visited the White House as he and Frances Fox Piven worked on creating the Occupy Wall Street Astroturf in hopes of accelerating the collapse of America’s economy.
David Axelrod, another ‘red diaper baby’ (i.e. Communist) just as Obama was… Valerie Jarrett, Iranian born hardcore Marxist… Anita Dunn, Mao enthusiast… Van Jones, self-described Communist and author of STORM… Reverend Jeremiah Wright, America-hating Liberation Theologian and hardcore Marxist… and the list goes on. The LA Times still won’t release the Rashid Khalidi tape that undoubtedly shows Obama speaking against Israel.
These are just a few of Obama’s pals and those who surround him. The company he keeps speaks volumes. And, yes, in American culture, people with whom a public official chooses to associate tells us volumes about that person. Coupled with Obama’s actions, we surely know quite a lot about this man.
The media keeps telling us that Obama is “likeable”, but if they told you the truth about who he is, what he has done and what he really meant when he said he would fundamentally transform America, “likeability” would be the non-issue that it should be because it has nothing to do with anything.
What has become of Obama’s Hope and Change slogan?
“Hope” lies in the fact that ratings for the lamestream propaganda media have plummeted.
The “change” we can believe in is that the vast majority of Americans are seeking the truth elsewhere. We are reading the legislation, the regulations and Executive Orders that Obama spits out at us almost daily. We are informing others, organizing and using the internet to spread the truth.
Ratings are robust for Conservative talk radio, such as Mark Levin and Rush Limbaugh. Online media like Glenn Beck’s Blaze TV and blogs like NoisyRoom, New Zeal and many others have millions of readers/viewers. Yes… even Independents and Democrats are turning to them for real news and facts that American’s want and need to know.
We had no hand in Obama’s background, associations, actions or ideology, but we absolutely have a right to know those things about him as a Presidential candidate. History will record the media’s deliberate cover-up of the truth about Obama.
Many were fooled and taken in by the lies in 2008, but we’re seeing the results, so it’s important to spread the truth. If you encounter kool-aid drinkers, don’t let it get to you. Move on until you find someone who actually uses their brain to think and their eyes to see. There are more of us thinkers than there are kool-aid drinkers who merely regurgitate lamestream media talking points and propaganda.
As Alexis de Tocqueville observed, “America is great because America is good”. We understand that the battle lines are drawn. We truly are fighting an evil that is moving Forward to destroy our culture, our nation and our way of life.
Anyone who knows and comprehends the facts about Obama knows they must vote for Romney/Paul Ryan to end Obama’s reign of terror over America and begin to reverse the transformation.
Victory by a wide margin is essential since we know the groundwork is in place for massive voter fraud and litigation by Obama’s army of lawyers.
We must use the power we have, while we still can, to ensure Obama is not re-elected… and it is your voice and your vote that carries this power. We, our children and future generations will closely examine this time in history.
Fascism or Liberty; it’s time to decide, spread the word and vote on November 6th to get Obama out of our White House.
