Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin posted a lengthy message to her Facebook wall Thursday criticizing the Obama administration for its handling the Benghazi, IRS, and Associated Press phone records scandals:

Scandalous Hat Trick

Mr. President, when it rains it pours, but most Americans hold their own umbrellas. Today in the Rose Garden you dismissed the idea of a Special Counsel to investigate the IRS scandal. With that, your galling political hubris shined bright in the midst of today’s dark clouds.

Mr. President, how can we trust your Justice Department to conduct an independent investigation when there is a systemic violation of the Hatch Act throughout your administration?

Surely you are aware that the Hatch Act prevents certain federal employees from engaging in political activity. Specifically, it’s illegal for these federal employees to engage in action in support of or in opposition to a political party, a candidate for partisan political office, or a partisan political group.

Yet that is exactly what’s happened within the IRS, the Justice Department, and in the Benghazi cover-up. This scandalous hat trick is on your watch. It is not believable that you knew nothing about Obama administration actions in dealing with these scandals. And in regards to Benghazi, when you should have taken appropriate action to save American lives – for instance by calling in the Marines – you were AWOL. Just weeks before the election your team scrubbed the Benghazi talking points in 12 different versions, lied to the American people about some YouTube video being to blame for the deaths of brave Americans who put our country first, and you prove Michael Barone right when he writes, “What actually happened in Benghazi was out of sync with the Obama campaign line.” That’s why you all did what you did. Pure raw politics were at play during a horrific time of loss.

For more evidence of Hatch Act violations right under your nose, simply consider DOJ’s “massive and unprecedented intrusion” into the free press. Do you think they picked up some political talk when tapping the phones in the House press gallery?

Your team is out of control. Those who cannot remember the past and learn from it are doomed to repeat it, and that is exactly what is happening. Look back exactly 40 years ago this week and apply that disheartening chapter of American history to the team you’ve chosen and lead today.

Some of us warned America; we cautioned voters in 2008 that a community organizer with no executive experience and no sense of accountability would be a very poor choice for the nation’s top management position.

Mr. President, you said today that you have “complete confidence” in the Attorney General. America doesn’t. Eric Holder needs to appoint an unbiased Special Counsel to investigate the illegal political action of this administration. And then Eric Holder needs to resign.

Most Americans see ominous dark clouds looming beyond the White House Rose Garden, Mr. President. They’ll roll away only when light is shined on the Obama administration’s antics, and America will only recover when you cease avoiding responsibility in this mission of yours to fundamentally transform America. For that to happen, the press had better learn from their experiences of being duped and provide a deserving public fairer, more intelligent coverage.

A Wicked Financial Storm Descends On America

Ever since 2008, this blog has been warning about economic devastation heading our way. You see it everywhere you look today, if you bother to look that is… Gas prices are at close to an average of $4 a gallon and in parts of California, it is now hitting $7, with no end in sight. Food inflation that is rising so precipitously, it takes your breath away – but the government says there is no inflation.

In the world that is America now, all things seem to be upside down and sliding full-blown out of control. This includes the Communist who is our current Commander-in-Chief. He claims he is drilling for oil, when the opposite is true. He is blocking all of it and piling so many regulations on our coal plants in lockstep with his bud, Cass Sunstein, that they are shutting down as well. Lie after lie after infernal lie.

As for unemployment, the government is manipulating the hell out of those numbers in an attempt to calm the sheep before the slaughter. They claim it has fallen to 8.2%. Take a long look at the U6 rate, which tracks not only those out of work, but those who’ve essentially given up looking for work. It currently sits at 14.5% – close to double what is being claimed by our ‘progressive’ leadership. Real unemployment stands at closer to 19.1% and is perhaps substantially higher than that.

People are giving up on finding work. A second, even more brutal wave of foreclosures is also on the horizon. Real hunger is coming to the US and hard times that will make the Great Depression seem like the good ole days are pounding on our door. A majority of states are now close to being unable to cover pensions and other entitlements as well as expenses. Bankruptcy is an understatement for what these states are facing. So, to “solve” the problem, a number of them are taxing more which makes it worse and worse. All the while, the rising flood of fuel prices surges against the levee.

When truckers cannot fill their tanks anymore because of the cost, store shelves will become barren wastelands. Real food deserts. When people get hungry, especially when their children are hungry, they get mean and desperate. Just what the Progressives had in mind. Violence, chaos and mayhem in the streets.

So, you say… the election is not far off and we can get rid of Obama then. Maybe, maybe not… I understand a company owned at least in part by Soros will be handling voting results. It doesn’t take a genius to see how that would be manipulated. Then there is a potential war with Iran. If Obama feels his reelection is in jeopardy, war with Iran will look like just the right emergency. Or, there could be any other number of emergencies, real or ginned up like the Trayvon Martin murder that is sparking racial unrest.

If nothing else, the debt we owe will literally drag us into hell all by itself. We’re broke and we aren’t going back to yesteryear anytime soon. That would take massive cuts and pain and no one with that kind of spine exists today in our government. But until the last penny is stolen and the last party is thrown by the Progressives, they will keep spending until there is nothing left but death, war, famine and blood. And they are okay with that, trust me. We face the abyss and our leaders are embracing the gulf.

#4 We are supposed to be in the middle of an economic recovery in the United States, but bad news just keeps pouring in from major companies. For example, Yahoo is firing thousands of workers and Best Buy is closing dozens of stores.

#5 Richard Russell says that the “big money” is starting to quietly exit from the financial markets….

“My guess is that this is the big money that has been holding off as long as it decently can — and then dumping their goods just before the close. I don’t think the big money likes this market, and I think they have been slowly exiting this market, as quietly as they can.”

#6 Goldman Sachs is projecting that the S&P 500 will fall by about 11 percent by the end of 2012.

#7 All over the country, local governments are going into default and we have not even entered the next recession yet.

#8 The U.S. government will add more to the national debt in 2012 than it did from the time that George Washington became president to the time that Ronald Reagan became president.

#9 The Federal Reserve is desperately trying to control interest rates. The Fed purchased approximately 61 percent of all government debt issued by the U.S. Treasury Department in 2011. This is the only thing that is keeping interest rates in the United States from soaring dramatically.

#10 German industrial production is falling at a pace that is far faster then expected.

#11 Italy’s debt-to-GDP ratio is now up to 120 percent.

#12 The Spanish government admitted on Tuesday that Spain’s debt-to-GDP ratio will rise by more than 11 percent this year alone.

#13 Yields on Spanish bonds are rising to dangerous levels.

#14 The Spanish government is projecting that the unemployment rate in Spain will exceed 24 percent by the end of the year.

#15 Unemployment in the eurozone as a whole has risen for 10 months in a row and is now at a 15 year high.

#16 In the aftermath of a 77-year-old retiree killing himself in front of the Greek parliament in protest over pension cuts, the economic rioting in Greece has flared back up dramatically.

#17 At this point, Greece is experiencing an economic depression with no end in sight. Some of the statistics coming out of Greece are really hard to believe. For example, one port town in Greece now has an unemployment rate of approximately 60 percent.

#18 The IMF is asking the United States to contribute more money for European bailouts.

#19 At this point, even some of our top scientists are projecting economic trouble. For example, researchers at MIT are projecting a “global economic collapse” by the year 2030 if current trends continue.

We don’t have till 2030… I personally don’t think we have until 2013. As the stock market (which is hideously manipulated) teeters on the edge of Armageddon and those with any money at all are running for the exits, the warnings of a wicked financial storm descending on America are blaring for all they are worth. And it would seem America is still asleep. Prepare to reap the whirlwind of an economic collapse – we are at its door.

Breitbart.com: As mention above:  Record 87,897,000 Americans Not in the Labor Force amid  disappointing unemployment numbers that fell 80,000 jobs short of projections, another number is raising eyebrows: the number of Americans not in the labor force has hit a record high 87,897,000.

This figure explains why overall unemployment dropped from 8.3% to 8.2%, as the Department of Labor's unemployment figure does not include people who have given up hope and are not actively seeking employment.

When the number of individuals who have stopped looking for a job and/or who are working part-time but desire full-time employment is included--a figure known as the "underemployment rate"--real unemployment stands at 19.1%.

Pointing out events since the start of 2011 for most people is like preaching to the choir.

Understanding what all this means vs. what people are being programmed to believe ...or think they believe, is altogether different.

In an August 21, 2010 newsletter we received from Bob Chapman THE INTERNATIONAL FORECASTER The Endrun Project cited in 'Better to be hyper-vigilant than blindsided!'

In free societies it is not the place of corporations or governments to run economies. That only occurs in socialist, fascist, communist or corporatist societies. The premise of government control in cooperation with corporations is what we witnessed in totalitarian societies in Europe in the 1930s and unfortunately it is happening again.'

More likely ...looking back, the intent was to say 'truth and humanity' are in a war against 'government control in cooperation with corporations is what we witnessed in totalitarian societies in Europe in the 1930s and unfortunately it is happening again.'

At the time (just prior to the November 2010 elections) in 'Better to be hyper-vigilant than blindsided!' we stated:
'...make no mistake... there are going to be attempts by the opposition to insight civil unrest for reasons later discussed in this post. Do not assume there are NOT plants in the crowds.'

'A real or perceived (staged) national emergency (economic collapse, oil spill, power grid failure, or general chaos resulting from one or more of these things) to justify an imposition of Martial law by definition as depicted at the end of this post, would change the ball game indefinitely. If imposed by any justification before November 2010 an Executive Order by America's 'Commander in Chief' would change the rules of the game for all Americans and halt November elections leaving current runaway government agendas unstoppable.' as posted in 'Better to be hyper-vigilant than blindsided!' was referring to events taking place prior to the elections; then we said;

'2010 is a dangerous year on many fronts. There has been speculation by many for months, that preparations for a state of emergency and 'executive order and declaration of martial law have been underway in anticipation of civil unrest.'

...And Here We Are ...2011

Turning the corner into 2011 and only a couple of days into March ...now morphed into an unprecedented global scene ...with added intensity and the exception of the November elections ...looking more like reality, everything from 2010 remains on the table.

In relation to global conditions we cited in Winds of Change 2011 Israel 2010-2012:

'In a recent discussion with Charlie Rose regarding the deteriorating global climate and environmental condition, Bill McKibben author of his newly released book 'Eaarth', made a comment of which the same could be said regarding Israel and the Middle East;

Not found in US mainstream media ...as US and NATO warships and personnel move into the region and the global community apply sanctions against Libya, Russia cites potential international law violations if the United States attempts to take any action against Libya on its own.

In keeping Russia's own interest in having a level playing field in the international community while working out agreements in recently formalized relations and pending European missile defense details, perhaps lingering mistrust of intentions by United States and NATO compels statement for the record;
'The decision to use foreign military forces in Libya is the sole responsibility of the UN Security Council, said Russia's permanent representative to NATO, Dmitry Rogozin.

Any misunderstanding, miscalculation or misinterpretation of actions or intentions of any party in the mix could escalate into dire consequences.

Again, do not underestimate what is happening. Its better to be hyper-vigilant than blindsided.

Like 2010, but with less speculation in an unraveling world (as much predicted in 2010 is now reality) ...any one of these and other events taking place (with promises of more to come) will topple an already fragile global economy as rapidly as the changes taking place in The Middle East.

Though many Americans will still be caught up in political drama ...following Glenn Beck or another professional politician or political party as the next hope for saving the world ...while keeping up with the lives of Charlie Sheen, Lindsay Lohan and the next American Idle...

...the world stage as foretold by ancient prophets is set, rehearsals are complete and the snare ...'like a thief in the night' ready to spring ...whether you are ready or not.

Its All About Choice

Well, as the world burns down with riots and protests, the White House was able to find the time to throw yet another party. There must have been an opening on the President’s schedule. Among the guests was John Legend, who has been complaining about getting a tax “break”. Glenn gave his reaction to the story on radio this morning.

“Singer John Legend is very upset.  Why?  Because he’s a millionaire who got a tax cut.  Quote:  People fought to give me, a millionaire, a tax cut this year.  I don’t need it.  And all the other millionaires don’t need it, either,” Glenn said.

“You give away all the money to a charity of your choice.  That’s what I do.  I give a lot of money to charity.  Better yet, give it as a little gift to the U.S. Government.  Nobody’s stopping you from writing a bigger check to the U.S. Government.  Go ahead.  Look it up.  The address is online.  And give me a call when you’ve made and written that check to the IRS, you dope.”

“He’s in the news again because of the party at the White House while the world was burning last night, the White House was partying,” Pat explained.

Pat continued, “Last night the party included not just John Legend but Seal, Jamie Foxx, Nick Jonas I guess of the Jonas Brothers, Sheryl Crow was there.”

“By the way, John, you didn’t get a tax cut!  You’re going to pay the same taxes this year that you paid last year,” Pat said.

“I asked one of the guys who used to be the head of the IRS.  This is like five years ago.  I said, has anybody ever sent, intentionally, overpaid their taxes?  You know, some millionaire said, hey, I got a million dollars that I want to pay?  He said occasionally we’ll get somebody who say they want to apply it directly to the debt but nobody ‑‑ did I say Hollywood, anybody?  He said, no, nobody just says, hey, I’m going to pay extra, I just want to pay extra, give it to some of the other ‑‑ give it to the EPA and give it to DHS, give it to those guys.  Spread it around a bit.  No, no.  Nobody does it.  You know why?  Because they know charities are more effective than the federal government.  That’s why.  It’s ridiculous.  Ridiculous,” Glenn said.

It’s Official – Our Leaders Have Lost Their Freaking Minds…

I tuned into the news this morning as I usually do and just stood there in slack-jawed awe at the utter insanity being foisted on Americans. Sure, you shake yourself and hope you’ll wake up… But then you realize that this isn’t a nighttime terror, it’s a real life horror and the inmates are officially ruling the asylum.

I’d just like to ask the Republicans one question… Have you lost your ever-loving, freaking minds? What the hell is wrong with you? Tell me this isn’t suicidal insanity – please:

1. Republicans are now getting ready to support the START Treaty. What the hell are you doing? You are playing patty cake with our enemies. I hear McCain and Voinovich have sold America down the river to Russia for Obama for virtually nada. This Treaty has twelve deadly flaws that are obvious even to the most corrupt of politicians:

Flaw #1: New START fails to speak to the issue of protecting and defending the U.S. and its allies against strategic attack.

Flaw #2: New START imposes restrictions on U.S. missile defense options.

Flaw #3: The atrophying U.S. nuclear arsenal and weapons enterprise make reductions in the U.S. strategic nuclear arsenal even more dangerous.

Flaw #4: New START counts conventional “prompt global strike” weapons against the numerical limits imposed on nuclear arms.

Flaw #5: The Obama Administration has made New START an essential part of a broader agenda that pursues the goals of nuclear nonprolifera­tion and nuclear disarmament concurrently.

Flaw #6: New START’s limits are uninformed by a targeting policy that is governed by the protect and defend strategy.

Flaw #7: New START leaves in place a large Russian advantage in nonstrategic (tactical) nuclear weapons.

Flaw #8: New START does not appear to limit rail-mobile intercontinental ballistic missiles (ICBMs).

Flaw #9: The BCC’s mandate is overly broad.

Flaw #10: The New START limitations are unclear on whether they would permit the U.S. to counter future threats from a combination of states.

Flaw #11: New START is not adequately verifiable.

Flaw #12: The Obama Administration believes that Russian cheating under New START is only a marginal concern.

2. Remember when we told the Republicans, if you don’t tow the line, if you don’t clean our house and put it in order, you are toast… Well, ladies and gentlemen, consider yourself toasted. Yesterday, a number of Republicans jumped ship and voted to NOT ban earmarks. You can’t even do one simple revision because you still want your bread buttered on both sides, don’t you? Well, I’d get ready for a world of hurt in 2012 or sooner.

3. After a year of Tea Party protests… After voting in new blood to ensure Constitutional principles are reinstated in our government before we do ourselves in permanently, the Republicans now are seemingly okay with parts of the health care monstrosity. What part of the statement REPEAL IN FULL don’t you understand? Dammit – every politician needs their health care and benefits stripped and they should get no more than any Private First Class does. It’s not real to you idiots what you are doing to us, but I guarantee that very soon it will be real as America fractures from head to toe. You jackwagons have deliberately sold your souls for a few pieces of silver.

Oh, and let’s not forget all the other massive forms of insanity our President is shoving down our throats:

1. The drilling moratorium in the Gulf of Mexico has just been extended for SEVEN years. Kiss our finances, jobs, drilling rigs and economy goodbye. Hast la vista, baby… And you know what? As of the writing of this, the only place I have seen this news is on the Huffington Post and Fox News on cable. Crickets are chirping as Rome burns… Hello Cap and Trade…

2. Just who the hell do you people think you are? The Fed just announced, and I kid you not, in the most blatant sign of wealth redistribution yet, that they are going to release details on a $2 TRILLION lending program for financial institutions and foreign banks. We. Are. Broke. Insolvent, bankrupt, destitute… And you progressive/Marxist asshats are printing and spending money as fast as you can. I am sure, the elites have already made sure they are taken care of as America burns to the ground.

3. 99 weeks of unemployment benefits end today for millions. I feel for them, but this should not be extended. We don’t have the money. Fix the system instead of enlarging the entitlements. 100,000 showed up for 1,000 Flight Attendant jobs… If you still believe this isn’t a depression; if you still believe the faked unemployment rate of 9.6% – I have a sweet bridge to sell you in New York.

4. The FCC will be clamping down on the Internet and all of us out here in the blogosphere. First amendment rights will be damned as Caesar has his due. The FCC will just ‘bypass’ our congress and regulate iron-fisted control into being and wield unfettered fascist power and dictates as they see fit. We saw this coming two years ago.

5. And let’s not forget the Food Safety Bill… You know the one where the government and international entities grab full control of our food supply? How does mass starvation sound? How about ‘selective’ starvation? How about rationing cards? Giddy up, cause here it comes… And I wouldn’t get my hopes up too high that it will be blocked – fingers crossed – but don’t count on it. The progressives want to control every aspect of food in America.

6. The TSA insanity keeps giving and giving. Nudge, nudge… Push, push… They want America to lose it and give them an excuse to a) bring the governmental hammer down on citizens and b) unionize the TSA. Fascism in your pants… (There are solutions that could be enacted immediately)

Let’s sum up shall we? We are basically screwed… Everything we thought would die and go away is very much still there. Cap and Trade? Can’t pass it? Regulate it… Same goes for the DREAM Act and illegals. Millions of illegals coming to a neighborhood near you and soon along with them, their crime, diseases and hatred of America.

The list goes on and on. Beck’s storm has arrived and it is time to head for the root cellar. May God have mercy on America…

It is time to start heading for the storm cellar because the wind is starting to howl!!

A Perfect Storm has been brewing.  Glenn has been warning us for over 5-years.  Al-Queda called their part Operation Hemorrhage, death by a thousand cuts.  The Perfect Storm includes:

Unemployment

Lack of Trust

Lack of Appreciation

Lack of Education

Apathy

Eroding Values

Family Breakdown

Debt

Overstretched/Military

How will we stand up.  Are you Prepared??

Unemployment is at 9.6% (officially); much higher in reality, because the system does not count people who are off the unemployment rolls but not collecting welfare, are part-time or under-employed or have just fallen of the grid now longer looking for work, are truly homeless and indigent and not receiving aid or are just living with family and friends or off their savings or meager retirement.

We must change the mortar (the relationships and basis) between us.  You/we can either be a leader or a pawn; a pawn or a defender?  We must go back to a time of honor, where faith, honor, trust, charity, and patriotism holds us together instead of “stuff”  material possessions and mind numbing media and electronic stimulus.

Only 11% of the people believe in Congress.  And the series of WikiLeaks is not what it seems, it is part of the Progressive Plan to create chaos.

The Progressives have been selling us a lie for years.  We have poor people in America, but even our poor live better than the majority of the people in the world.  Of course we would like everyone’s life to be better, but even Jesus said, “You will always have the poor!”  Americans are the most generous people, as a group, on the Earth!  Capitalism makes that generosity possible.

97% of the poor in America have a TV and 25% of those are big screen TV’s

89% if the poor in America have Air Conditioning  (see videos for more stats)

$19,465 is the base salary for a military person after 4-years in the service.  (Most military families are dependent on getting help from some type of charity if the spouse left here at home cannot find a good job, while also taking care of the kids and anything that comes up on under $20K)  -  I know this is true because I volunteer with a group who supplements military families (Navy and Marines) with donated food, Halloween costumes for the kids, and basic essentials that they would go without while their loved ones are fighting (for us) in Iraq, Afghanistan or are stationed all over world including South Korea.

$21,660 is the poverty line set in America (up to which people get government) aid

$175,000 is the base salary for Congress

26% of Americans have no idea that we gained out independence from Great Britain.  Why?  Because we stopped teaching history… especially in the Progressive States.  We are educationally bankrupt!

25% of younger Americans, in a country that was founded on God, describe themselves as atheists.   We are spiritually bankrupt!  This is what the Smithsonian put up as art… with the coming of Christmas: Smithsonian Christmastime Exhibit
