Sarah Palin tells Iowa conservatives it's time 'to stiffen our backs'

(Reuters - By Kay Henderson) DES MOINES, Iowa  - Former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin, who rallied members of the Tea Party in their failed effort to defund Obamacare, lashed out on Saturday against members of the Republican Party who agreed to end the government shutdown.

The 2008 Republican vice presidential nominee's comments during a speech in Des Moines come at a time of division within the party over the strategy conservative members of Congress adopted in forcing a 16-day shutdown of the federal government last month.

Polls have shown voters blamed Republicans for the shutdown.

Palin, who was speaking to hundreds of attendees at the Iowa Faith and Freedom Coalition's annual fall banquet, was joined by Senator Mike Lee, a Republican from Utah. Lee, along with fellow Tea Party movement star Senator Ted Cruz, was instrumental in the ill-fated attempt to defund Obamacare, the popular name for the healthcare reform law championed by President Barack Obama.

Palin told the Christian conservatives in attendance it was time to "stiffen our spines" for the 2014 elections.

Sarah Palin was a guest and speaker at Bill Graham’s 95th Birthday Celebration earlier in the week

"I want to encourage you to make your voice heard, to hold politicians accountable," Palin said.

The bulk of Palin's speech was focused on the nation's current political climate. She drew thunderous applause with her sharp attack on Republicans in Congress who voted in October to raise the nation's debt ceiling and reopen the government.

"They promised that they would do everything in their power to fight against socialized medicine, against Obamacare, but when it came time to stand and defund it, they waved the white flag of surrender and they threw under the bus the good guys who did stand up and fight for us," Palin said.

Palin named Lee and Cruz as leaders in that fight. Last month, Cruz also made a stop in Iowa, a key state in presidential campaigns because the Iowa caucuses are the first electoral event in the nominating process.

In 2010 Lee defeated three-term Republican Senator Bob Bennett in a primary on his way to winning the Senate seat.

In his speech on Saturday, he called on Republicans to offer up "market-based alternatives" that could replace Obamacare if the Republicans hope to have success at the polls in 2014.

"Frustration is not a platform. Anger is not an agenda and outrage, as a habit, is not even conservative," Lee said.

Books, Knowledge, History, Memories… How Erasing Them Changes Cultures, Countries, The World - Updated

By Marion Algier – AskMarion

A little while back, I wrote about how our children and future generations can’t miss or value what they don’t know, what they don’t understand and what they never even learned or heard about.  This is obviously common sense as well as the basis for the American Progressive movement, which has roots in Socialism, Fabianism, Marxism and a long list of other “isms” whose leaders all knew if you can strip away people’s allegiance to Country, Family and Religion you can reprogram the upcoming youth and the disenfranchised to follow the newest version of the power elitists’ plan whatever it is… right now it is globalism, and our government is full of Progressives who have been united in the dumbing down and manipulation of the populace of America for several generations now.

When you talk to Millenials most don’t know much about history, American or otherwise, most don’t go to church, and most don’t even know much about the background of their own families which generally includes a lack of solid holiday and personal traditions.

Then we, people who know history, love America and the Constitution, go to church or synagogue etc., and who value and want to pass on their family, American, and religious values and holiday traditions scratch our heads when younger people don’t understand why those are important; why they only read escapist and fictional (often dark) books and movies… if they read at all; and why they don’t believe in God or think it is a big deal when a Christmas Tree, Menorah, or worse yet a copy of our Constitution or the Ten Commandments can no longer be displayed in public buildings or the local town square.

We, from the ‘The Greatest Generation’ to the Baby-boomers to the parents right now missed the boat.  Everyone was too busy to notice that what made America great and what kept us free and united was being stripped out of our educational system, our activities and our daily lives and was being replaced my mind-numbing activities that were often more fun or just distracting yet often smattered with underlying anti-traditional messages or Propaganda… a book (Kindle)…  by Edward Bernays that is a must read for everyone.  We stopped talking to each other about things that matter and we stopped passing on to the each next  generation what was important to us both personally and collectively, but the Progressives were busy filling the vacuum.  And with all the new media, what mattered most has virtually been lost, re-written or replaced in the minds and lives of many in the present and will be lost to most in future generations.

Instead of teaching our children how to dream, how to think critically, how to search for knowledge, how to believe in things that are not always tangible tangible (from God to Santa Claus) and how to find the magic in the every day things of life, like bookstores, by both sharing from each of our hearts, histories and memories and by being an example, we are relegating our children to learn from educators who think individual and critical thinking are passé, from an American media who promote sex, violence and propaganda for our government, and from each other… a generation raised on social media, video games and often with little ‘live’ social interaction.  And instead of promoting our kids to develop their imaginations, which can lead to the development of future writers, movie-makers, inventors and even scientists, we are stifling their creativity by putting them into socialistic-style schools which promote conformity so everyone will think, act and be alike, so not to hurt anyone’s feelings. And we are robbing children as young as kindergartners of their time of innocence and beauty and replacing it with sex-education (awareness) classes that produce confusion and ugliness for psyches far too young to have to deal with that topic.

Recently I came across the article Views – The Wonders of Bookstores (below) by novelist Richard Russo.  It is this kind of love for knowledge, tradition (including types of medium) and special places and memories that we are no longer cultivating:

Views: The Wonder of Bookstores

Novelist Richard Russo pays homage to the shop where he fell in love with reading — and to the crucial role bookstores can still play in our lives.

The first great bookstore in my life wasn’t really a bookstore. Alvord and Smith was located on North Main Street in Gloversville, N.Y., and if memory serves, they referred to themselves as stationers. I don’t recall the place being air-conditioned, but it was always dark and cool inside, even on a sweltering summer day. In addition to a small selection of books, the store sold stationery, diaries, journals, and high-end fountain and ballpoint-pen sets, as well as drafting and art supplies. The shelves went up and up the walls, and I remember wondering what was in the cardboard boxes beyond my reach. The same things on the shelves below? Other, undreamed-of wonders? Alvord and Smith was a store for people who—though I couldn’t have articulated it at the time—had aspirations beyond life in a grungy mill town. It was never busy.

Because she worked all week, my mother and I ran errands on Saturday mornings, and Alvord and Smith was usually our first stop. There, I’d plop down on the floor in front of the bottom two shelves where the children’s books were displayed: long, uniform phalanxes of the Hardy Boys and Nancy Drew mysteries, as well as the lesser-known but, to my mind, superior Ken Holt and Rick Brant series. I can still remember the thrill of coming upon that elusive number 11 or 17 in my favorite series, the one I’d been searching for for years, now magically there, where it hadn’t been the week before, filling me with wonder at the way the world worked, how you had to wait to the point of almost unbearable longing for the good stuff in life.

Coming out of Alvord and Smith, blinking in the sunlight, you could see all the way down Main Street to South Main, where the gin mills and pool hall were. Outside these stood dusky, shiftless, idle men, flexing at the knees and whistling at the pretty women who passed by. Occasionally my father was among them. Later, when I turned 18, I would join him in those same dives. Like the stationery store, they were cool and dark and mysterious, and for a while I preferred them, though I never really belonged. That’s what I’d felt as a boy, sitting on the floor at Alvord and Smith, touching, lovingly, the spines of books: Here was a place I belonged.

Many people love good bookstores, but writers? We lose our heads over them. We tell stories about them. We form lifelong attachments to our favorites. We do not hate e-books—well, okay, some of us do—but we owe our careers, at least my generation of writers do, to the great independents, so many of them long gone now. Those that remain gamely continue to fight the good fight, even as customers increasingly treat their stores as showrooms, then go home and surrender to the online retailer’s chilly embrace. They point and click and, without meaning to, undermine the next generation of writers and the one after that. Because it’s independent booksellers who always get the word out (as they did for me).

I’m an old fart, of course, more at home with paper and print than touch screens, and yes, I agree with those who argue that in the end it’s more about the message than the medium. But to me bookstores remain places of wonder. Like libraries, they’re the physical manifestation of the world’s longest, most thrilling conversation. The people who work in them will tell you who’s saying what. If you ask, they’ll tell you what Richard Russo’s up to in his new one, but more important, they’ll put in your hand something you just have to read, by someone you’ve never heard of, someone just entering the conversation, who wants to talk to you about things that matter.

Excerpted from My Bookstore: Writers Celebrate Their Favorite Places to Browse, Read, and Shop (Black Dog & Leventhal Publishers). Richard Russo’s latest book is Elsewhere: A Memoir (Kindle).

Online media… from novels to textbooks can be lost, changed and rewritten over-night.  In fact at many of the colleges and universities, the professors now have the ability to edit the books online that they assign to their students without notice.  That should be frightening to everyone!  Instead of teaching from original sources we are allowing liberal professors, or professors of any bent, to re-write any authors’ works.

And what about photos… How many people do you know that no longer print their photos and somewhere along the way have lost every single one because they weren’t backed up?

And the art of letter writing, keeping journals or even sending a quick handwritten note with a card or photo is almost extinct.  Yet how many beautiful and tragic histories would we not know if someone hadn’t kept a bundle of love letters (Kindle) or found the diary of a little girl named Anne Frank (Kindle)?

What if over night the grids we are all connected to mysteriously go off line, through a manmade or natural disaster?  What would you have left if every form of media and communication you have and had was on your computer, your phone, your a kindle type device?  Verses… what would you have left is you had printed photos, printed books, handwritten letters and journals?  It is certainly something to ponder!!  One only needs to watch Mad Max (Trilogy) or The Book of Eli [Blu-ray] to promote that thought process…

If you look at every aspect of American life, you will see the changes and many not for the better. It has been a process that has been going on for a long time, but with the election of Obama and the appointments of his like minded-administration, the process has been accelerated not only in speed, but into a final phase. Below is just a short reminder list or where we are and what has changed:

Things we thought to be impossible in America are now daily events and the window to change all this is becoming ever smaller!  For anyone who doesn’t believe that just checkout these Headlines from the past 24-hour news cycle:

Yet most people, unless they watch Fox Cable News, Fox Cable Business News, TheBlazeTV (on TV or online) or get the information from the blogs and Internet.  It has gotten so bad that even liberal Jon Stewart said on Obamacare’s Sebelius: ‘Maybe She is Just Lying to Me!?!’

And if there is any hope of turning this cycle around it lies in the laps of grandparents, concerned parents do know and see what is going on, patriotic American willing to stand up at every opportunity, history buffs, educators who haven’t been brainwashed and pulled into the Common Core myth and the religious community who need to engage our youth, our children and adults willing to listen immediately.

Finally a Fair and Tough Interview by Univision… Obama is Scorched!

Univision does job American MSM won’t do, asks tough questions

Most of the media is content to follow along whatever story line the Obama campaign leads them down. War on women. Romney is a bully. Romney might be a felon etc. In a horrible economy and unstable world Obama has amazingly been questioned very little. It took a foreign media outlet, Univision, to finally ask him some tough questions – and he failed badly.

“We have to go to a foreign entity to be able to get an interview that even asks a hard question of this president. We have to go to Univision,” Glenn lamented on radio this morning.

The Blaze describes:

President Obama was skewered by Univision reporters on Thursday for breaking his promise to enact lasting immigration reform during his first term in the White House.

“But it was a promise, Mr. President,” Univision reporter Jorge Ramos said. “This is very important, I don’t want it to get lost in translation. You promised that, and a promise is a promise and with all due respect, you didn’t keep that promise.”

Obama’s only response was that he does not have the power as president to accomplish everything he wants to, saying it requires cooperation within the other branches of government.

“I am happy to take responsibility for the fact that we didn’t get it done but I did not make a promise that I would get everything done, 100 percent when I was elected as president.”

Obama can’t answer why America’s embassies weren’t more secure  -  Univision was the network to finally ask the President about the security at our embassies. Why wasn’t it better? Glenn Beck plays Obama's answer, which painfully shows why he has been avoiding real reporters and going on Letterman, The Pimp with a Limp radio show, and People Magazine - he has no answers.

Mitt Romney gains traction among Latino voters… They are not fooled by DNC political games

Video: New Mexico Governor Susana Martinez addresses the 2012 Republican National Convention

Real Clear Politics: MITT ROMNEY: I am pleased to represent the party of Governor Susana Martinez (R-NM), Governor Brian Sandoval (R-NV), Governor Luis Fortuno (R-Puerto Rico), Senator Marco Rubio (R-FL) and the Texas Republican candidate for U.S. Senate Ted Cruz. These leaders are Republicans for the same reasons as millions of other Hispanics. They see that ours is the party of opportunity, the party that will restore America's prosperity. Now at our convention, Governor Martinez describe an experience that some of you may find familiar.

At the beginning of her political career she was a Democrat, and her star began to rise and as it did so she and her husband got an invitation to go to lunch with a couple of Republicans. The words Democrat and Republican never not come up. Instead, they talked about issues, not about party, such as how to keep welfare from become a bear to work and how much government is needed before it becomes burdensome to families and small businesses. When the lunch was over she turned to her husband and she said this, ' I'll be darned, we're Republicans.' I love hearing stories like that, I like to hear it much more often and I'm convinced the Republican party is the rifle home of Hispanic Americans.  See Video Here.

Ronald Reagan Tribute -- Bel Air Presbyterian Church

Video:  Ronald Reagan Tribute -- Bel Air Presbyterian Church

Ronald Reagan's church put this together to commemorate the birthday of Ronald Reagan. Unfortunately the war against the evil of liberalism is still alive and well, and we fight it even at Bel Air Presbyterian. The liberal Presbyterians are doing all they can to pervert the church from the inside out. Fortunately the conservative Christians are strong at Bel Air. Ronald Reagan loved Bel Air Presbyterian as I do...Enjoy!

Why liberals hate him and conservatives love him…

God Bless the Conservative Father

By Betsy M. Galliher  -  American Thinker

Michelle Obama sent yet another plea last week, imploring the common man to wish her husband a happy Father's Day. That is to say, Mrs. Obama -- who undoubtedly left the note's details to staff as limited as her time is between book tours, lavish travel, and star-studded NYC campaign events -- has again called upon the people who must toil to fuel Mrs. Obama's lavish lifestyle to heap platitudes upon her petulant composite of a husband; and with a campaign donation from what little is left of our after tax dollars nonetheless.

Nothing, and I mean nothing, (okay, many other things) over the last few mind-numbing years of tyrannical fundamental transformation, irks me more than these impertinent and incessant campaign requests -- birthdays, anniversaries, Valentine's, Mother's and Father's Day wishes for our Rulers, at the behest of our Rulers. It would only be more irksome were Anna Wintour -- a natural for the next The Hunger Games Capitol villain --begging our adulations through her nauseatingly elitist brogue.

Mrs. Obama made no mention of the soldier dad away from his family on Father's Day; not the new and nervous dad enthralled with the perfect new life entrusted him; not the hardworking and selfless, law-abiding, taxpaying dad; or the jobless father trying to keep his family afloat in the Obama economy. No, the day belongs to Barack Hussein; the composite father who somehow fits fathering -- what appears to be a bi-annual photo op with his daughters walking hand in hand to church -- in between lavish celebrity-filled campaign events, secret meetings with Marxist friends, lawless fiat, economic ruin, and golf.

If that is the father we are to honor, I'll pass.

Many of us were fortunate to be raised by a responsible, moral, conservative father -- imperfect though he may have been. He scoffed when his children cried, "that's not fair." He taught us work before play, the value of money, self-respect, right and wrong, and the limits of government and the power of personal responsibility -- if not in words, by his example. I am grateful for many blessings, but a conservative father is chief among them.

My own father never organized anyone. He expected people to organize their own lives, and their own communities, free from the obstacle of tyrannical government preferably. He never presumed to rule over another, nor did he expect anyone to tell him how to live his life. He never lectured from stadiums grandiosely flanked by Greek columns, but his words resonated. He never padded a resume, nor embellished, let alone created, his own history. And yet, his history speaks volumes.

My father grew up with strong, Christian, honorable men who served and defended this great nation, knew hard work, God-given liberty, and right and wrong. My father grew up when Sunday was reserved for family and church; before helmets were required to walk to the mailbox; and before putting the playground bully in his place with a discreet right hook was criminal. He knew how to change the oil in his own car, and how to farm and garden before leftists commandeered produce for social change. He watched great men land on the moon, and even greater men returning from war. He understood why soldiers fought those wars, and he was grateful and humbled. He grew up before MTV was around to bash Christians, and glamorize teen pregnancy, victimhood, bad behavior, and hedonistic drunkards from the Jersey Shore. To my knowledge, my father never dealt drugs, ate dog, nor perfectly recited the Islamic call to prayer.

My father's parents were teachers who believed education was rooted in classic academics -- reading, writing, arithmetic, and real history -- not lessons in social justice. My father was a disciplined national championship swimmer. He never received a trophy just for showing up at a swim meet. He put himself through medical school when medicine was still a calling. My dad must have been worried -- even terrified -- but he met every risk and sleepless night without complaint, even as more and more government crept into the practice he once loved and so ethically served. He never missed a day of work, never put himself before any patient, and never removed any tonsils or feet needlessly.

My father never pitied himself, even when he and his wife learned they were unable to have children. I'm sure it must pain them to see how flippantly the abortion industry treats the right to deny so many births if only for their shortcomings of normal, or gender, or for selfish convenience. My father and mother adopted four children and raised them with love and discipline -- warts and all -- managing the rough patches and celebrating the mundane and grand milestones of life alike. My father certainly never criticized or sent operatives to persecute a woman for staying home to raise children, which he knew to be very hard work. And he never saw my brother -- technically, a minority -- as anything less, or more, than another human being.

My father never scratched his cheek with a certain finger in a very public and obscene gesture when speaking of his enemies. Actually, he had no enemies. He never dangled an obscene and insulting sexual innuendo publicly, or otherwise, about his children's mother. He never ridiculed, shamed, or used lewd nicknames for those with whom he disagreed. His inner circle of friends never included thugs, crooked politicians, terrorists, and Marxists. He never once vacationed, dined, entertained, traveled, flew, hired staff, or lived on someone else's dime. Ever. He lived within his means at every stage of his life, managing to help the less fortunate whenever possible. Most importantly, he worshipped God and taught his children to do the same.

His children went to college -- very expensive, privileged colleges -- presumably to learn and prepare for a career. Along the way, one became quite radical in her thinking, perhaps out of some rebellion, or immaturity, or intellectual convenience -- turning her back on God, her nation's great history, denying the reality of human nature and the consequence of behavior; even marching in Washington for a woman's right to deny herself the greatest of all miracles bestowed her by God. And, yet, her father never turned his back to her.

It's humbling to wish real men Happy Father's Day. Conservative men, seemingly so out of fashion among the exposed underbelly of the Obama era Left -- heroic, self-deprecating, mentoring, imperfect dads who put God, family, country, and personal responsibility before their own self-interest and the fallible government of men. Their words and deeds lay a foundation for their children capable of penetrating even the great noise of life.

If only every child were so blessed.

All This Just For a Flag? Asks Michelle Obama

The Washington Times (September 13, 2011):

Michelle Obama steps into 2012 presidential campaigning on Thursday with a speech to the Democratic National Committee's Women's Leadership Forum.

Photo: ASSOCIATED PRESS Michelle Obama steps into 2012 presidential campaigning on Thursday with a speech to the Democratic National Committee's Women's Leadership Forum

The internet was buzzing this week with video of First Lady Michelle Obama apparently showing extreme disrespect to the American flag at a ceremony in honor of the victims of the September 11, 2001 terror attacks. As police and firefighters fold the flag to the sound of marching bagpipers, a skeptical looking Mrs.... Obama leans to her husband and appears to say, “all this just for a flag.” She then purses her lips and shakes her head slightly as Mr.... Obama nods. (This is not the first she has been caught making similar comments about the flag and for a very long Time candidate Obama did not salute the flag or wear a flag pin on his lapel).

Just for a flag? If that is what she said it is regrettable. Even with all her years being around those who hold high public office Mrs....... Obama does not seem to understand the purpose and importance of ceremonies. They reaffirm the bonds of loyalty and fellowship that cement our national unity. Yes, at one level a flag is just a colorful piece of cloth. But it symbolizes much more. It is the emblem of our land and all its ideals. It has been present at every major event of any importance to the country, battles, celebrations, meetings, and the lunar landings. It is a symbol of unity that transcends party, faction and time. It is something uniquely and explicitly American. Men and women have fought and died for it. Our enemies hate us for it and burn it in the streets. All that should mean something.

Perhaps Mrs...... Obama thinks that all the pomp and circumstance she experiences in her daily life has something to do with her, rather than the unofficial office she holds. If so she should disabuse herself of that notion quickly. The official gestures of respect shown to her are the same shown to any First Lady, and if she wasn’t married to the president she would be just another citizen. Ruffles and flourishes are not hers by right, but by coincidence of marriage. Yet this is the same woman who said she had never in her adult life been really proud of America before her husband ran for president, so it is no wonder she might dismiss a flag ceremony as just so much nonsense.

All this just for a flag? Has anyone said, “All this just for Michelle Obama?”

Troops will and have risked their lives all over the world to raise and defend the American flag

That question, All this just for a flag?, is the same attitude that has created a situation where U.S. Military for 20 years, risk their lives protecting freedom and our flag, and only get 50% of their pay on retirement.  While Politicians hold their political positions in the safe confines of the capital, protected by these same men and women, and receive full-pay retirement after serving one term. Troops will and have risked their lives all over the world to raise and defend the American flag, a symbol of freedom and hope, but our first lady and president don’t understand that. That should worry every American!

We are not far from the end folks.  We can't take much more political correctness.  This picture was taken at the AZ state capitol yesterday (don’t have the specific date).

The news will not show it and the Capitol Police and Homeland Security would not let Americans or any of the Veterans that were there do anything about it.  My husband and his friends were threatened with arrest and were told they would be booked under federal charges if they did anything.

I am sending this to you so that you in turn can all start Emailing/Sharing it with everyone they know.  It is totally uncalled for and people need to see it.  This is not about politics and rhetoric, it is about a direct threat to our country, disrespect and hate. Those of you that don't live in Arizona will maybe get a chance to see the other side of what the news is telling you.  If this offends you greatly, then I have truly accomplished what I set out to do. I understand that sometimes we don't see eye to eye on certain things, but that is the right our forefathers fought for.  I am an American before anything else.

For those of you who choose to dismiss this: If you believe that this is okay I believe you are a traitor to this country and everything it stands for.  I am not a racist and I am not a Nazi, this has nothing to do with race, it has to do with respect to the country that is continually taking you in and turning a blind eye to your agenda.  Homeland Security was designed to identify and defend America from Terrorist acts yet yesterday it let illegal and legal citizens of this country desecrate the Flag.  People were spitting on it, stomping on it and burning it with cigarettes.  One soldier who had just returned from Iraq tried to grab the flag and was thrown to the ground by the Capitol Police and Homeland Security.  It amazes me how many people will stand against the American People while prospering from our system and our government.  To those of you that will forward this to your friends or post it on your blogs I applaud you for the courage to stand up for the country in which you live.

Children of Darkness - Sheriff Jim R. Schwiesow, Retired

By Sheriff Jim R. Schwiesow, Ret. - May 1, 2012 - NewsWithViews.com – Cross-Posted at BeforeItsNews.com

“In a time of deceit telling the truth is a revolutionary act.” - George Orwell

I doubt that many understand that this nation stands solely by the will and grace of the Sovereign God, each day is a gift and the seconds, minutes, and hours of every day come by His divine determination. We have not earned His grace, and neither are we intrinsically entitled to His blessings for a continued existence.

The truth is that the population of this nation is entirely bereft of any semblance of an obeisant relationship with Almighty God. A near totality now lack an ethical spiritual persuasion that enables one to discern or distinguish between good and evil, right and wrong, or between socially righteous and execrably putrid personal conduct.

Our society has descended into the stygian depths of demonic doctrine. This disconnect from the God of creation has delivered the people unto a beastly nature; they are devoid of the constituents of human sensibility and rife with the stinking elements of a hellish nature. It is not difficult to discern that a sizeable majority of the people who inhabit the far flung environs of this nation are children of darkness and possessed of the mind of Satan, the god of this world.

The stink of this nation has reached the heavens and God is about to pull a curtain of blackness over this land that will release the elements of destruction that are harbored in the immoral minds of a near totally perverted people.

Presently we are witnessing rapidly developing hostilities between ethnic groups divided on the basis of racial group or skin color. The present Faustian despot who now rules and reigns over the destiny of the peoples of this commonwealth is using the powers of the office of president to set aflame the smoldering prejudice of malleable anarchists’ in order to ignite roiling race wars that will collapse social order and bring this nation to its knees. This is his goal; to destroy national sovereignty and re-make the nation as a totalitarian socialist element of a centrally controlled one world homogeny; in other words a modern version of the Tower of Babel.

The established and unarguable fact is that both Barack Obama and his wife hate the United States and have never made a secret of their disdain of its history, its valor, or its constitutional values. They have stated their antipathy for the nation and all that it stands for on a number of occasions in a number of venues. The astonishing aspect of this is that the majority of the people of this nation voted for such a perverse foreign born nit having full knowledge of his contempt for their land and its historical values. This fact highlights two things; the sheer stupidity of the American electorate and the in your face audacity of the Obama clan.

NO CHANGE FORESEEN

This nation has been stood on its head for so long in regard to its system of principles and beliefs that the people have not the foggiest notion of the Biblical standards that the Almighty has set forth to establish human behavior. God’s laws are not taught in the churches or in the homes, and the nation’s systems of laws are predicated upon the myriad whims and caprices of unjust and unholy men rather than upon the divine and binding absolutes of the Holy God.

Righteous acts are punished and criminal behaves are justified and rewarded, the innocent are imprisoned while the guilty are exonerated and set free to continue their plundering and murderous ways. Millions of guiltless human babies are butchered in the name of personal choice and their remains are either cast off as garbage or mined for experimentation by a depraved scientific and ethically challenged biological community. I suspect that if one knew the extent of the experimentation with the bits and pieces of these poor little creatures it would turn the stomach.

Iniquitous acts and perversions are excused and socially instituted by a nationally embraced exculpation known as political correctness. It has become the tool used to sanction prurient practices and lifestyles and to remove the stigma from Biblically identified abominable perversions.

Just recently the progressive community has attempted to sanitize the filthy practice of sodomy by intimating that those in opposition to this aberrational and pestilential behavior are in fact closet sodomites who use their opposition as a form of concealment. It is an inauthentic psychological stretch by these imbeciles’, and the real psychology is the reverse of their progressive mythology.

Since sodomites are so inwardly ashamed of their perversion and have no adequate way to justify or vindicate their filthy behavior they must resort to a conjuration of the delusionary and fictional twaddle that others are as nasty as they. To make it simple they must attempt to smear healthy heterosexuals with their own excrement in order to assuage their feelings of guilt and self-loathing. You want psychology; there it is - the real truth!

A CORRUPT MILITARY

George Patton is one of my hero’s he was an iconic politically incorrect, courageous, loquacious, outspoken, and perceptive son of a gun, and the most effective U.S. military commander to ever come down the pike. I respect him above most other historical figures and think of him as the Old Hickory of modern times; he and Andrew Jackson were much alike in deed and in spirit. This country would never have come to its former glory without men such as these.

There is not a single military high commander today (NONE) who could come close to Patton in principle or true integrity, they are all politically correct, butt kissing pukes who couldn’t stand in Patton’s shadow. He was a man’s man and one can imagine that he must be turning in his grave given queers in the military, women in combat, and the sundry other politically correct crap that the ignorant politicos’ and dimwitted military brass have instituted into the armed services...one wonders why anyone would volunteer for any branch of the armed services in the current degraded environment.

POLITICAL BUFFOONERY

I can’t imagine that anyone could be as sick and disgusted as I am with the current totally ignorant political scene and the seeming interminable political blather that assails the ears and eyes of a captive people every minute of every day. I can only liken it to an ache from a festering tooth; it will be a wonderful relief when it is over.

The arrogant Republicans who control the party apparatus have dictatorially secured the nomination for semi progressive Mitt Romney. He will be the nominee as these arrogant political kingmakers have structured the process to eliminate all others despite their popularity or constitutional expertise.

I hear the establishment Republicans complain that Ron Paul supporters are combative, rude and unsportsmanlike in regard to Romney’s candidacy; I believe that most do not really care about Romney one way or another. He harbors a non scrupulous core and is a capital investor who places money above principle. To make it worse he supports failed inherited political patterns over a retrieval of constitutional ensures. Scripture has a name for such; they are called money changers.

That he is a money changer cannot be denied, as he rolls in 27 million dollars each day from investments alone. He is of inherited wealth and in all probability hasn’t done an earnest day’s work in his entire life. His past political services have established him as a milk toast and a lickspittle who exhibits not one whit of a believable fighting spirit. He kisses progressive behinds in the name of compromise, and willingly barters away the essential non-negotiable constituents of constitutional governance.

In November these Republican dimwits and the media that aided them (I am thinking of Fox) are going to be stunned when Obama wins handily due to the huge number of voters who will spurn these Republican moguls, and their hand-picked candidate, and write in Ron Paul on their ballot. By their high handed tactics these nitwits have pissed into the wind the margin needed for a win.

This is no big deal as the country is treading the margins of collapse and destruction, and might as well go down with the present interloping idiot that the ignorant masses have clutched to their bosom.

One last thing in regard to Mitt Romney before I move along to other issues, he recently opined that God employed evolution to create mankind. By doing so he ignored God’s inspired word of Genesis 1:1-2:3 and thereby called God a liar. There is no room for evolutionists in my camp – this was again another cowardly double-sided attempt to appease believers while ingratiating himself with the secular evolutionists.

I AM NOT A JEREMIAH

“Do not I hate them, O LORD, that hate thee? and am not I grieved with those that rise up against thee?” (Psalm 139:21)

Periodically I receive letters suggesting that I must grieve in regard to the onrushing wrath of the Holy One upon the people of this nation. The cold hard fact is that unlike Jeremiah I do not weep when the iniquitous receive a just due. I have never shed a tear when a murderer is executed, I never agonize when a terrorist of any stripe, domestic or otherwise, is dropped in his tracks by a well placed bullet, and I never wring my hands when evil people reap the just results of their crimes.

Like Elijah, who shed no tears over the slain four hundred fifty false prophets of Baal, I am angered by those who deny, ridicule, slander, and blaspheme the Lord Jesus Christ.

In such an ungodly society as we presently live, my compassion is reserved for the unfortunate victims of the conscious less, and of the world’s oppressors and the criminally malfeasant.

I am a believer in Christ and a servant of the Most High Holy God. I am not in love with this country, nor do I worship or esteem any earthly entity whose governing authority has demonstrated that it is a proxy of the evil one. My home is not of this world…

This nation and this world is a temporary dwelling place. By all indications we are presently in the time of the terminal generation; those who love Christ will not be saddened, but overjoyed by such news. But, those who love this fallen world above the Lord will be irritated, offended, and possibly even outraged by my words; just as they are - in these critical days - offended by the Messiah and His ministry.

100 Black Youth Attack and Beat White Couple  -  Media Mum for Two Weeks

There’s outrage in Norfolk, Va., today after a white couple was attacked by dozens of black teenagers, and the local newspaper did not report on the incident for two weeks, despite the victims being reporters for the paper.

Even today, the Virginian-Pilot did not cover the crime as news, but rather as an opinion piece by columnist Michelle Washington.

“Wave after wave of young men surged forward to take turns punching and kicking their victim,” Washington wrote, describing the onslaught that began when Dave Forster and Marjon Rostami stopped at a traffic light while driving home from a show on a Saturday night. A crowd of at least 100 black young people was on the sidewalk at the time.

“Rostami locked her car door. Someone threw a rock at her window. Forster got out to confront the rock-thrower, and that’s when the beating began. …

“The victim’s friend, a young woman, tried to pull him back into his car. Attackers came after her, pulling her hair, punching her head and causing a bloody scratch to the surface of her eye. She called 911. A recording told her all lines were busy. She called again. Busy. On her third try, she got through and, hysterical, could scream only their location. Church and Brambleton. Church and Brambleton. Church and Brambleton. It happened four blocks from where they work, here at the Virginian-Pilot.”

Washington says neither suffered grave injuries, but both were out of work for a week. Forster’s torso ached from blows to his ribs, and he retained a thumb-sized bump on his head. Rostami reportedly fears to be alone in her home, while Forster wishes he’d stayed in the car.

The columnist admits the story has not, until today, appeared in the Virginian-Pilot.

“The responding officer coded the incident as a simple assault, despite their assertions that at least 30 people had participated in the attack,” Washington explains. “A reporter making routine checks of police reports would see ‘simple assault’ and, if the names were unfamiliar, would be unlikely to write about it. In this case, editors hesitated to assign a story about their own employees. Would it seem like the paper treated its employees differently from other crime victims?”

Washington says the day after the beatings, Forster searched Twitter for mention of the attack, and one post in particular chilled him.

“I feel for the white man who got beat up at the light,” wrote one person.

“I don’t,” wrote another, indicating laughter. “(do it for Trayvon Martin)”

Trayvon Martin is the unarmed black teen who died after being shot by a community-watch captain with white and Hispanic parents, George Zimmerman, in Sanford, Fla., sparking a wave of outrage long after the incident.

The newspaper is coming under heavy criticism today from residents in the greater Norfolk area, known as Hampton Roads.

“It is unbelievable that the Virginian-Pilot would BURY this story for two weeks for politically correct reasons. That is sad and disgusting,” said David Englert of Norfolk. “Someone should be fired or resign over the decision not to report this attack. It is a sad enough commentary on our society and community to read about how the responding police viewed this crime, but for our only newspaper to decide that they will hide from the truth rather than report the truth is PATHETIC! Any attack by a mob of people on any innocent victim should be put under a bright spotlight for all involved to be judged and exposed as appropriate, and to make sure that the criminal justice system does its job to protect those who obey the law.”

William Tabor of Chesapeake, Va., complained: “Surely the Pilot knew about it. A racially motivated attack is certainly news. Was it not politically correct enough to be reported? Is civilization suspended in Norfolk after dark? If we can’t rely on the police for protection, and our [news] media fails to warn us of such hazards, we can only rely on ourselves.”

Charles Chandler of Norfolk indicated: “I am not sure what I am angrier about. This story, or the crowd of black teens who needlessly and thoughtlessly beat two white victims. Or am I just angry that this still occurs in the year 2012. Nearly fifty years after the marches and the speeches and the declaration of civil liberties for all people. Clearly we are nowhere near the dream Dr. King envisioned. I am angry. I am angry at the calloused cop who stated ‘this is what they do.’ I am angry at the Pilot for hiding it under a bushel.”

And Douglas Gaynor of Virginia Beach brought up the need for self-defense, saying, “If the young lady was armed and trained, she could have whipped out P345 and taken out a few thugs.”

Trailer - Welcoming Schools Film: What Do You Know?

Video:  Trailer - Welcoming Schools Film: What Do You Know?

Trailer for the new Welcoming Schools (www.welcomingschools.org) professional development film for educators and parents. Children talk about when they first heard about gay and lesbian people; language they hear from family, teachers and friends; and how teachers can create a safe school climate. Produced by the Human Rights Campaign Foundation. (Film length: 13 minutes)

NYC and California (and other school districts around the country) are beginning sexual awareness education as young as kindergarten, without parent’s opt-in permission.  And then from there they move to full blown sex-education in elementary schools including sex positions, fisting, the gay life etc.   Really?  Is that what we want our children, especially young children, seeing and learning whether it is gay, alternative or traditional sex education?

It is part of the progressive program to take parenting decisions away from parents; a move toward sexualizing our kids and society and further intrusion into our families and family values, against freedom and against religion and Christianity.

THE SNEEZE

I think this is awesome!!!

Graduation : Graduate Receiving DiplomaThey walked in tandem, each of the ninety-two students filing into the already crowded auditorium. With their rich maroon gowns flowing and the traditional caps, they looked almost as grown up as they felt.

Dads swallowed hard behind broad smiles, and Moms freely brushed away tears.

This class would NOT pray during the commencements, not by choice, but because of a recent court ruling prohibiting it.

The principal and several students were careful to stay within the guidelines allowed by the ruling. They gave inspirational and challenging speeches, but no one mentioned divine guidance and no one asked for blessings on the graduates or their families.

The speeches were nice, but they were routine until the final speech received a standing ovation.

A solitary student walked proudly to the microphone. He stood still and silent for just a moment, and then, it happened.

All 92 students, every single one of them, suddenly SNEEZED !!!!

The student on stage simply looked at the audience and said,

'GOD BLESS YOU'

And he walked off the stage...

The audience exploded into applause. This graduating class had found a unique way to invoke God's blessing on their future with or without the court's approval.

Isn't this a wonderful story? Share it with all your friends.........and
GOD BLESS YOU!!!!

This is a true story; it happened at Eastern Shore District High School in Musquodoboit Harbour, Nova Scotia.

Oh, how I wish THIS one would be shared and and FILL the whole Country!!

LIVE: Sarah Palin & Glenn Beck at Family Arena "Defending the Republic"

Sarah Palin and Glenn Beck appeared together for their “Defending the Republic” event on Friday evening 10.07.11 at the St. Charles Family Arena, outside of St. Louis, MO where they appeared to a full house, about 5000 people.

Sarah Palin and Glenn Beck arrived about 2 hours before the event to share their message on today’s issues. Some traveled hundreds of miles from out of state to see them and hear their candid messages. Many were anxious to hear what they have to say.  From the look and sound of the crowd the speculation that Palin’s political effect is over, is much exaggerated.  Palin and Beck had the crowd eating out of their hands.

launch Video: Palin-Beck Defending America Tour

Two of our country's leading conservative standard bearers came to St. Louis. Sarah Palin first made history on December 4, 2006 when she was sworn in as the first female governor of Alaska.  In August 2008, Senator John McCain tapped her to serve as his vice-presidential running mate in his presidential campaign, making her the first woman to run on the Republican Party's presidential ticket.

Glenn Beck, known for his quick wit, candid opinions, and engaging personality, has attracted millions of viewers and listeners throughout the United States with The Glenn Beck Program.  His radio show is heard on over 400 stations. It is the third highest-rated national radio talk show among adults ages 25 to 54.

This event is expected to be part of a larger tour that they will take around the country.

Former Vice Presidential nominee Sarah Palin criticized President Barack Obama, "crony capitalism" and the mainstream media at an event in St. Charles with Glenn Beck Friday night.

A crowd of 5,100 people attended the event at the Family Arena, just two days after Palin announced she's not running for president in 2012. Tickets to the show, which was sponsored by FM 97.1 NewsTalk, ranged from $26 to more than $100 each.

The event at the St. Charles Family Arena drew a mixed crowd of Palin and Beck supporters, many of whom said they weren't surprised to hear Palin announce she won't seek the Presidency.

"The national media has done such a rotten job on her," Renee Bonine of St. Charles said. "They've slandered her."

Derek Lauer, 42, of Creve Coeur, wrote a song about Palin in 2010 and stood outside handing out cards with a link to a site where people could hear it. He said he thinks his song still is relevant even thought Palin's not planning to run for presidency.

"She's going to be in the news in the next two years," he said. "She's a prominent figure in the media."

Meredith Tharp, 23, of St. Peters, said she thinks Palin is in a better position to effect change nationally by not running for president.

"It does leave some people nameless but I feel like she's going to continue to be on the stage," she said.

On Friday, Palin said the "mainstream media" has failed to ask hard questions about Obama's plans to revive the economy. Mainstream media needs to ask tougher questions and not be afraid of the political machine, she said.

She criticized major companies that contributed to Obama's campaign who are benefiting from stimulus dollars, saying the only solution is "sudden and relentless reform."

Palin challenged Obama to show his track record in fighting corruption, saying he brought Chicago-style politics to the Whitehouse.

"I think we should expect transparency from our candidates and know who is contributing to whom," she said.

Palin's speech drew applause and a standing ovation at points. She followed up her talk with a question and answer session.

Conservative radio personality Glenn Beck spoke after Palin, saying that the secret that will restore the nation is that people must serve god by serving their fellow man.

Midway through his talk, members of the crowd spoke up to announce that the Cardinals beat the Phillies in game 5 of the National League series. Cell phones lit up throughout the Arena as fans checked the score.

Addison Todd, 22, of St. Charles, said he didn't mind missing the Cardinals game to see Glenn Beck in person.

"It was awesome," he said, of the night overall. Todd was less impressed with Palin. "I technically agree with most of the things she said, but I'm not a fan of her eloquence," he said.

For many, a chance to see Palin and Beck in person for the first time was a huge draw. Michelle Blair, 44, of Maryland Heights, brought her 16-year-old daughter Lauren to the event, in an effort to expose her to conservative ideas.

"I got a little overboard," Blair said before the event. "Our country is on the brink. Hopefully, it'll hook her."

Marie Kemp, 78, of Ballwin, said she loves Sarah Palin and was disappointed to hear she wasn't running.

"We think she's doing some wonderful things with the country, putting us back in line with the constitution," she said.

Few people said they had a favorite pick for Republican nominee for president in lieu of Sarah.

Shirley Juhala, 74, who lives near New Melle, said she's still confused about who might be the best pick.

"Herman Cain seems to be really answering the questions well. My only thing with him is his experience," she said.

Roland Juhala, 74, said although Sarah Palin would have been a good choice, the others are fine as well.

"All of the candidates who are running could do a better job than the one we've got," he said.

Glenn Beck reflects not only on his position in life, but his ever-changing goals. “Remember when you used to think this was funny?” Beck declares, mimicking his wife’s voice.

Neither Beck nor Palin told the station sponsoring the event the subjects they would be speaking on.

On Saturday at Liberty University, Governor Palin Calls for Restoration of America

Beck believes college is for those who can afford it

Beck is as self-made man with only a high school education who believes that not everyone needs to go to college and many are piling on more debt than what they will gain from a college education that will take half their working life to pay back.

After 3-weeks of Occupying Wall Street most of the paid protesters are still not sure why they are there or what they are protesting… Wall Street, bankers, Billionaires, lack of jobs that they feel they deserve, Capitalism or???

Glenn Beck, ardent supporter of the tea party movement, spent the majority of his speech at the Values Voter Summit attacking the Occupy movement. (Bob Chapman Video: Soros is Behind the Occupy Wall Street Movement, someone Beck has studied in great detail.)  One of the best commentaries on the confusion and the of hypocrisy of the kids being used by the organizers of the this liberal astroturf movement was given by Fox News Anchor and Beck’s good friend Bill O’Reilly on the fact that the protestors all say they hate millionaires and billionaires, yet most of them went to school on their parents’ or the government’s dime and are communicating and keeping this protest alive by using their I-Pods, I-Phones, and I-Pads all created by recently deceased Billionaire Steve Jobs, who use software created by Job’s friend Billionaire Bill Gates and are communicating on Twitter and Facebook whose creators are also Billionaires.  Instead of realizing that Capitalism gives them, every American, the opportunity to become Millionaires and Billionaires themselves, that their inventions make everyone’s lives better and these wealthy entrepreneurs have created tens of thousands of jobs they are allowing themselves to be used for a political agenda they don’t even understand.

Whether you hate them or love them, and there is little in-between, both Sarah Palin and Glenn Beck are Rock Stars in the political world and will be for a long time; counting their affect out is a huge mistake!
