Good friends of ours from here in Elizabethtown, KY just got back home from a visit to the Air Force Academy, in Colorado Springs where they attended the commencement exercises of the graduating class of 2013. In fact John's grandson was one of the graduates and John, being a retired US Army officer was able to swear in his grandson as a brand spanking new US Air Force 2Lt.
What an honor that must have been for John and his family, but that's not the real story nor is it the historic significance of the 2013 commencement celebration. You see 2013 is the first Air Force graduation on record that has occurred under a Sequester created by a nonfunctioning Congress and an unyielding Obama Administration. Due to operating under this Sequester the ceremonies proceeded as follows:
President Obama regretfully declined the kind invitation of the Commandant of the Air Force Academy to be speak to the graduates and their families on the occasion of their graduation saying he was committed to addressing the graduates at West Point. Instead it was established that Vice President Biden was free and he would come to Colorado Springs. And, as to the request for the usual fly-over by the US Air Force Thunderbirds that was declined again due to the Sequester.
After consultation with his chain of command the Commandant of the Air Force Academy notified the White House that due to the Sequester cancelling the traditional fly-over of the Thunderbirds that he was confident that the nation didn't need the added $1 million + expense to fly Air Force 2, of any configuration or model, and the added expense of the Secret Service and their entourage required when the Vice President traveled. So just cancel the initial request for a speaker from the White House for the commencement.
So the commencement went off as planned sans representation from the Obama Administration. It looked like this:
The featured speaker was an Under Secretary of the Air Force, who is a decorated Viet Nam veteran. The Secretary flew back and forth from Andrews AFB to Peterson AFB In Colorado Springs on routine training flight conducted by the Air Force thus costing the American tax payers nothing.
John tells me that there were nearly as many Air Force General Officers in attendance as there were family members. He thinks a dozen or more 4 Star General, three or four times as many 2 and 3 Stars an untold number of 1 Star Generals. And, of course countless Colonels and below.
Most of these officers were themselves alumni of the Air Force Academy and wanted nothing less than to present a perfect program for the graduating class. Since the Congress and the Obama Administration could not see fit to allow for a fly-over by the Thunderbirds, a number of the senior generals took matters into their own hands. And so, when the speeches, the hats were all thrown into the air, and all the family hugs were all made and it became time for the fly-over a roar of engines was detected from the West of the air strip and parade grounds there at the facility and everyone was treated to a fly-over by the Confederate Air Force. Looking up they saw all kinds of vintage aircraft from B-17s B-24s, B-25s, P-38s, P-51s and others all represented by manufactures such Corsairs, Grumman, Lockheed and Boeing who still provide parts availability for these aircraft, and flown by our hero's from prior conflicts that still see fit to stay active for services such as this. It was a wonderful experience for all who were there.
I am sure you will join me in offering a salute to these serving officers who saw fit not to rob the 2013 graduating class of their day of celebration, and to our heroes who flew the planes for this worthy occasion and oh yes to the many private donors who pitched in and covered the expenses involved in bringing these aircraft in to Colorado Springs from various locations across the country.

(Info Wars) – On Saturday, Retired United States Army Captain Terry M. Hestilow publicly voiced grave concerns over the Department of Homeland Security’s absurd acquisitions, posting a letter he sent to Sen. John Cornyn (R-TX) on Facebook labeling the Obama administration’s recent appropriation of weapons a “bold threat of war” against citizens of the United States of America.
“It is with gravest concern that I write to you today concerning the recent appropriation of weapons by the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) that can only be understood as a bold threat of war by that agency, and the Obama administration, against the citizens of the United States of America,” the decorated retired Army Captain’s letter begins.
Referring to the DHS’ solicitations for nearly two billion rounds of ammunition and recent purchase of almost 3,000 mine-resistant ambush protected armored personnel carriers as “a tyrannical threat against the Constitution” and a deliberate attempt to defund the Department of Defense, the retired Army Captain asked Sen. Cornyn to honor his oath to the American people and the U.S. Constitution and “to demand in clear terms that the Administration cannot ignore, that the Department of Homeland Security immediately surrender their newly appropriated weapons of war to the Department of Defense (DoD).”
“Significant is the fact,” Captain Hestilow writes, “that at the same time the Obama administration is arming his DHS for war within the limits of the United States against the People of the United States in accordance with his 2008 campaign speech claiming,
‘We cannot continue to rely only on our military in order to achieve the national security objectives that we’ve set. We’ve gotta (sic) have a civilian national security force that’s just as powerful, just as strong, just as well funded [as the United States military]‘–Candidate Barack Obama, 2008.”
“Further, since the DHS has assumed a position in the Administration to enforce the tyrannical acts of this president against the People of the United States against the limits of the United States Constitution, it remains for the United States Congress to exercise its limiting power in the balancing of powers established by our founding fathers, to disestablish and dissolve the DHS as soon as possible,” the retired Captain’s letter continues.
Calling the DHS purchases a “glaring threat of war against our nation’s citizens,” Hestilow says the actions “can only be understood as a tyrannical threat against the Constitution of the United States of America.”
“If left unresolved,” Hestilow states, “the peace loving citizens who have sworn to defend the United States Constitution ‘against all enemies, both foreign and domestic’ are left no option except to prepare to defend themselves, and the U.S. Constitution, against this Administration’s ‘coup’ against the People and the foundations of liberty fought for and defended for the past 238 years. We have no choice if we honor our oaths.”
The former Army Captain cites Adolf Hitler’s rise to power as evidence of the outcome of allowing such an agency free rein, stating,
“One needs only to look to the rise of Adolf Hitler, and his associated DHS organizations, the SA and the SS, of 1932-1934, to see the outcome of allowing an agency of government this kind of control over the free citizens of a nation. The people of Germany could not have imagined, until it was too late, the danger of allowing a tyrant this kind of power. We must not be so naïve as to think it will not happen to us as well if we remain passive toward this power grab by the Marxist Obama administration!”
The post is garnering unprecedented support, according to the retired Captain. Within a day, he says it has received over 3,000 shares, in addition to lassoing in 994 new friend requests. He is also encouraging others to copy and properly amend the letter to send to their own senators and members of the U.S. House.
The retired Army Captain’s message follows another letter penned by 15 Congressmen earlier in the week to the DHS asking if the ammo purchases were part of an effort to strategically deny American people access to ammunition.
“The extraordinary level of ammunition purchases made by Homeland Security seems to have, in states such as my own, created an extreme shortage of ammunition to the point where many gun owners are unable to purchase any,” California Congressman Doug LaMalfa wrote in the letter.
Concerns that the DHS is engaged in a domestic arms buildup against the People have also been echoed by notable political figures and such mainstream publications as Forbes Magazine, who earlier this month called for a “national conversation” on the topic.
Former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin was recently portrayed by media as a “conspiracy theorist” after she posted a remark on Facebook warning that imminent financial collapse could be the reason “why the Feds are stockpiling bullets in case of civil unrest.”
Similar concerns were also recently made public by Fox Business host Lou Dobbs when he asked NRA president Wayne LaPierre, during his March 4 broadcast, about the bizarre solicitations.
As an overwhelming number of Americans grow distressed over the curious purchases, mainstream media agencies, such as the Associated Press, Politico, Media Matters, and the Atlantic Wire, have frantically tried to tamp down speculation of a threat to civil liberties, refusing to conduct actual research into the subject and instead regurgitating superficial explanations issued by government officials.
A recent report that the DHS holds a $2 million contract with a firing range target manufacturer that produces shooting targets of armed pregnant women, children and elderly gun owners depicted in residential settings, has also not helped suppress speculation.
Despite numerous pleas to address the matter, the DHS has yet to issue a plausible explanation as to why they have apparently been building up a veritable ammunition and firearm stockpile domestically – purchasing profane amounts of riot gear, armored military vehicles, bulletproof checkpoints, and some 7,000 fully automatic assault rifles – and still refuses to answer questions from citizen journalists and multiple elected representatives.

Significant is the fact that at the same time the Obama administration is arming his DHS for war within the limits of the United States against the People of the United States in accordance with his 2008 campaign speech claiming,

Will we allow this present Administration to overthrow our United States Constitution and its legal processes to amend injustices, or, will we honor our obligations to defend the Constitution against a “domestic” enemy? Our Constitution lays out the proper methods of resolving our differences; and it does not include its overthrow by a rogue agency of a Marxist leadership at home. You, sir, are our constitutionally elected agent to defend our Constitution at home. We are counting upon you. We remain aware, however, of this present threat and will not expose ourselves as an easy prey to the authors of the destruction of our nation.
I know that this letter demands much of you. We elected you because we, the citizens of the State of Texas, believe that you are up to the task at hand and will, against all threats, honor your oath and office. We are also writing to your fellow members of the House and Senate to stand in integrity with the Constitution and against this present threat by the Obama administration and his DHS.

In light of the growing information that is coming to light: House Bill Wants to Repeal Obama’s Authorization to Use Military Force
Occupy Corporatism: In the House of Representatives HR 198 entitled, “Repeal of the Authorization for Use of Military Force” was recently introduced for consideration. The bill is championed by House Representative Barbara Lee and supported by 9 of her peers, including House Representative Walter Jones.
According to the text of the proposal: ‘Congress finds that the Authorization for Use of Military Force ( Public Law 107-40; 50 U.S.C. 1541 note), signed into law on September 18, 2001, has been used to justify a broad and open-ended authorization for the use of military force and such an interpretation is inconsistent with the authority of Congress to declare war and make all laws for executing powers vested by the Constitution in the Government of the United States.’
Currently President Obama could authorize “lethal force” be used on Americans in the US, he meant that Obama was empowered by the “2001 Authorization for Use of Military Force Against Terrorists” (AUMF) to assign military to patrol American streets as a matter of routine.
AUMF was a collaboration of the Congress and the US Armed Forces to battle against the attacks on 9/11. According to the text, the AUMF empowers the president when “acts render it both necessary and appropriate that the United States exercise its rights to self-defense and to protect United States citizens both at home and abroad”, threatens national security and foreign policy with “grave acts of violence” then “the President has authority under the Constitution to take action to deter and prevent acts” with the use of military force.
While the House prepares to address dictatorial powers afforded to Obama, the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) have ordered more .40 caliber S&W jacketed hollow point (JHP) rounds for the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center.
The solicitation reads: “LI 001: Ammunition, Commercial leaded training ammo (CLTA) Pistol .40 caliber 165 grain, jacketed hollow point (JHP) p/n P40HSTS3G or equal – Brass casing. Quantity of 360,000 rounds -newly loaded unit price per 1000 rounds with FOB Destination., 360, CA.”
DHS claims that they “regularly” fill orders for “goods and services requirements” all at once because it saves money. Peter Boogaard, spokesman for DHS clarified the recent solicitations for ammunition placed by DHS as going to the agency; as well as law enforcement.
Boogaard said: “With more than 100,000 armed law enforcement personnel in DHS, significant quantities of ammunition are used to support law enforcement operations, quarterly qualifications, and training, to include advanced firearms training exercises.”
House Representative Doug LaMalfa and 14 other supporters collaborated on a letter to DHS asking why the agency has purchased over 1.6 billion rounds of ammunition.
LaMalfa asked DHS:
• Why they have purchased 1.6 billion rounds of jacketed hollow point bullets? • How many rounds do they currently possess? • Why has DHS redacted certain information in solicitations? • Is this an attempt to stall public access to ammunition by manipulating manufacturers? • How much as DHS spent currently on ammunition; including plans for future purchases.
Senator Leonard Lance has also asserted that Janet Napolitano, Secretary for the DHS, explain the recent ammunition purchases and explain whether or not the agency is stockpiling deadly hollow point bullets.
Paeegy Dixon, spokesperson for the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center in Georgia stated that these rounds were purchased for shooting ranges and training exercises.
Using the war on crime and drugs as an excuse, the Pentagon has been arming local police departments (LPDs) since the 1990s with the assistance and approval of local elected officials.
DHS grant funding to LPDs have totaled $34 billion as defense contracts continue to come without fail. Riot gear, military-grade weapons and training are becoming common place in cities and townships across the nation.
Timothy Lynch, director of the criminal justice project at the Cato Institute, states: “What is most worrisome to us is that the line that has traditionally separated the military from civilian policing is fading away. We see it as one of the most disturbing trends in the criminal justice area — the militarization of police tactics.”
All LPDs across the nation are encouraged by DoD to apply for federal grants and participate in the program.
In early 2012, the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) released a report entitled “Homeland Security and Intelligence: Next Steps in Evolving the Mission” which outlined in part on how to redirect efforts of the federal government from international terrorism toward home-grown terrorists and build a DHS-controlled police force agency that would control all cities and towns through the use of local police departments.
DHS maintains that “the threat grows more localized” which necessitates the militarization of local police in major cities in the US and the training of staff from local agencies to make sure that oversight is restricted to the federal government.

Armored military vehicles of the type used to hunt for insurgents in Afghanistan are set to patrol roads in Sheboygan County, Wisconsin as part of a training exercise on behalf of the U.S. Army Reserve.
“(Capt. William) Geddes said the U.S. Army Reserve wanted to alert the public to the training dates so residents are not alarmed when a pack of heavily armored military vehicles is driving around the county,” reports Sheboyganpress.com.
The exercises are being run despite the fact that troops driving the M1117 Armored Security Vehicles have already received their basic training. “They’re vehicles that these military officers might use if they’re deployed, patrol vehicles,” Geddes said, adding that the drills were to ensure that officers didn’t get “rusty” in handling the M1117s.
The vehicles, which have been used overseas in Afghanistan, are described as being “strange,” “intimidating” and “heavily armored,” while being the same size as a large SUV.
Local authorities have apparently not even been briefed about the planned exercises, which will run until August 17.
“Sheboygan County Administrator Adam Payne said he had not heard about the training exercises. Two city officials declined to comment, because they also had heard nothing about the training,” states the report.
Geddes urged citizens not to create safety hazards on the roads by stopping to gaze at the vehicles.
The increasing phenomena of military training drills taking place away from military bases and amidst the general public has led to fears that the American people are being acclimatized to accept a potential future declaration of martial law.
Back in June, residents in St Louis were shocked to see heavily armored U.S. Army vehicles patrolling neighborhoods as part of an exercise. However, the local media responded by featuring ‘vox pops’ interviews with people who supported the use of the military in order to “cut down on crime,” despite the fact that using the Army for domestic law enforcement is forbidden under the Posse Comitatus Act.
Advocating that America rape foreign countries where troops patrol the streets, one resident told Fox 2, “I think it’s the same way when you go to other countries…they don’t have police officers they have troops, and I think it kind of scares a lot of people…it might cut down on a whole lot of crime because they don’t know if they’re military or the police.”
“I think it’s fantastic because it might slow down some of the crime rate,” added another.
Predictions of mass civil unrest have fueled fears that the federal government and the U.S. Army are gearing up for domestic disorder. Both the U.S. Army and the Department of Homeland Securityrecently purchased large quantities of riot gear in anticipation of trouble at the upcoming DNC, RNC and the presidential inauguration. The DHS has also purchased 450 million rounds of .40 caliber hollow point bullets.
A recently leaked US Army Military Police training manual for “Civil Disturbance Operations” outlines how military assets are to be used domestically to quell riots, confiscate firearms and even kill Americans on U.S. soil during mass civil unrest.
On page 20 of the manual, rules regarding the use of “deadly force” in confronting “dissidents” are made disturbingly clear with the directive that a, “Warning shot will not be fired.”
As an example of how high tensions are running, the following You Tube video, which shows over a hundred tanks being transported through Burbank, California, is also causing consternation amongst those that fear some form of martial law could be just around the corner. (In the midst of all of this there have also been reports of large areas being taken offline temporarily. I personally know of it happening to people in Ohio, California and Wisconsin… also a coincidence? A lot of scrubbing, which the Obama administration is known for, could be done in 20 min – or a test run) You be the judge!

Recently, I read Doug Hagmann’s column “The planned re-election of Obama, revolutionary style” in which Doug cited a “deep-throat” DHS source. The following interview is a continuation of that column and it is bone-chilling.
BIO: Douglas J. Hagmann is the founder and director of the Northeast Intelligence Network. Hagmann is a 26-year veteran private investigator who has worked as an operational asset for the U.S. Department of Justice, the FBI, the New York and Pennsylvania State Police. He is the author of Tactical Surveillance, a textbook used for training surveillance operatives. He is the CEO of a multi-state licensed private investigative agency and a senior columnist for Canada Free Press. He’s a frequent guest on nationally syndicated radio shows such as Coast to Coast AM with George Noory.
Joe Hagmann is the associate director of the Northeast Intelligence Network, a veteran researcher and investigator with an insatiable desire for truth.
The Interview:
Sher: Doug, in your recent and extraordinary column “The Planned Re-Election of Obama, Revolutionary Style” you wrote about the coming plans of the Obama syndicate to install Martial Law in order to forcefully thwart and attack the American people, in order to maintain their jobs. Your source advises that various false flag attempts could be in the works by Obama’s operatives, including perhaps an event to evoke sympathy for Obama that would also serve to foment racial chaos. Would you give us a little background on how your source believes the Obama syndicate might plan to bring this to fruition, perhaps resulting in suspending elections in November?

Doug: I’ve been in contact with my source since that column was published and we’ve had more discussions about this. In fact, our last contact was after the shooting at the Sikh Temple in Wisconsin, and I’ve obtained more information about this very issue.
First, it seems that people have an over-simplistic view of how things are being planned by the people who are most influential to Obama, or by those who are in the position to help Obama stay in office. Their playbook is full of asymmetrical tactics, but suitably transparent if one understands what’s at stake.
According to my source, it is the very existence of our country and way of life is at stake. Many people who are currently in positions of power, whether elected or appointed, have the same ideological goals of Barack Hussein Obama. Like Obama, they want to transform the country, and will use every tactic possible to do so. They believe that under Obama, they finally have the perfect opportunity to implement the socialism-to-communism agenda in America. They hate, and I mean hate the democratic system of government and loathe capitalism. They are the “red diaper babies” of the 1960’s who have gained power through the very process they seek to destroy.
They feel that they have lived their entire lives for this time in history, when they can change America on every level. They feel that they need more time, however, to fully achieve their objectives. My source told me that something(s) went “sideways” for Obama, which created the need for more time, or a second term.
According to my source, there were some internal problems within the Department of Homeland Security, and some external problems outside of that venue as well that slowed the process. My source stated that the delays caused a lot of anger among those at a higher level, and that anger or impatience trickled down through the ranks at DHS.
On the day of the shooting at the Sikh Temple, however, my source stated that there were many meetings and contacts between Obama’s people, especially from Valerie Jarrett, that involved Janet Napolitano and the FBI director. According to my source, Jarrett and others within Obama’s inner circle were actually coordinating how the information about the shooting was to be handled. Imagine that! Obama’s closest advisor was actually involved with almost every aspect of a local shooting by first designating it as an act of domestic terrorism. As soon as they were made aware that the shooting took place at a Sikh Temple and had the identity of the shooter, they made sure that the federal agents took over the crime scene so the flow of information could be controlled. “There was a sickening sense of perverted excitement by Obama’s closest advisors, based on what I heard at my level,” said my source. “That twist approach to a terrible event, it actually p-ssed some [higher ranking DHS officials] off,” he said to me. He also said that he heard one high ranking source within DHS tell someone else that “we can’t let this one get away from us,” a reference to the shooting.
So, they obviously prefer to exploit situations like the shooting in Wisconsin to attack our freedoms granted under the Constitution, but have no moral objection to creating their own crises, if necessary, to further their objectives. In part, that’s where the “false-flag” scenario originated.
My source was very emphatic then and now that the planning that is being done is “fluid,” or always being revised and updated to exploit whatever situations might arise.
Sher: It’s hard to believe, Doug, but this is almost worse than I believed. For the last several years, Obama has ordered military drills, including the military’s heavy artillery, in multiple US States and their major cities. A few of these include Los Angeles, New York City, Miami and Boston. I’ve been writing about these phenomena for the last several years.
Now, Infowars is reporting from Florida’s Sun Sentinel that military exercises began again in Hollywood, Florida, on 2 August and that unannounced military drills in the middle of that night frightened and awakened Worcester Massachusetts residents.
In a comment, Worcester resident Brian Goslow reported the essential “black helicopters” buzzed his house and others in Worcester, in the middle of the night, for over 2 ½ hours. Strongly sounds to me that these tactics are being used to intimidate and cast fear into the hearts of American citizens via our own military, what’s your assessment of all of this?
Doug: Alex Jones has done a great job in exposing the government’s role in conditioning the populace to an ever increasing paramilitary presence on the streets of America. You’ve done a great job as well. I’ve spoken to my source about this at length, including the latest urban military training exercise. His response was simply, “expect more.”
Again, this is directly related to Obama needing yet another term to complete his objectives. The militarization of municipal law enforcement agencies within the U.S. has been expedited under the reign of Barack Hussein Obama, implemented by DHS Secretary Janet Napolitano, and facilitated through bipartisan support of members of the United States Senate and House of Representatives. But, who is the enemy? If you are reading this, chances are good that you are.
It is important for every American to understand that we are witnessing the end game scenario of a takeover from within. The plan has been in place for a long time and transcends the fictitious right-left paradigm, but is coming to fruition under the reign of Barack Hussein Obama. The patriotic conservatives in tandem with the Progressives and communist elements within our own government have not only approved of it, they applauded it.

The above photograph is that of a military armored personnel carrier taken this week by a gentleman named Tom. The photograph was not taken in Afghanistan, Iraq or even on a military base in the U.S., but on a city street in Wausau, Wisconsin. The armored personnel carrier is the property of the Sheriff’s Department, as is the result of the militarization of law enforcement agencies across America. It is the “new normal” under the Department of Homeland Security, and is just one of many such vehicles deployed across the United States. Along with the photograph Tom sent to me, he asks the legitimate question of why such a vehicle is needed in a community of about 39,000 residents, and how many other such vehicles exist across the country that we don’t know about? In addition to heavily armored street vehicles, the Department of Homeland Security is now using Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs or drones) within the United States for surveillance and interdiction purposes. Indeed, the continental United States (CONUS) has become a battlefield in preparation for… what?
We are facing a revolution, and the government is preparing for it. This supports everything my source has told me about what’s coming.
Sher: The breadth and scope of all of these ongoing military “drills”: are unprecedented in the United States of America and to many they smack of abject tyranny and Obama’s plan to remain in power by whatever means necessary. In fact, in another totally unprecedented move, more and more Russian soldiers have been invited by Obama to US soil to engage in “joint military exercises” with US soldiers. Obama invited a foreign power (Russia) and pronounced enemy of the USA to send its troops to US soil, coupled this atrocity with his recent statement to Russian President Medvedev and was caught on video saying:
President Obama: “On all these issues, but particularly missile defense, this, this can be solved but it’s important for him to give me space.”
President Medvedev: “Yeah, I understand. I understand your message about space. Space for you…”
President Obama: “This is my last election. After my election I have more flexibility.”
President Medvedev: “I understand. I will transmit this information to Vladimir.”
Sounds to me as if Russia and the Putin KGB may be calling the shots and dictating the US’ course of actions to Obama. What do you make of this?
Doug: It also sounds like Obama is confident of another four years, doesn’t it?
Sher: Four more years of Obama will be the end of the country and of many of us. And as Congress has been ignoring Obama’s patently unconstitutional and increasingly illegal activities and—with SCOTUS CJ John Roberts’ ObamaCare decision (which the dissent actually called an illegal decision)—and the Supreme Court seemingly now following Obama’s orders we are now firmly in the grip of an Oligarchic dictatorship. None of the branches of our federal government have listened to We-the-People for a very long time. Do you see any way to take our country back, other than a real active fighting and bloody second American Revolution?
Doug: There is something terribly wrong in America. People can feel it, they can sense it, and are now beginning to see “it.” Some say that “it” began decades ago, with the establishment of the Federal Reserve and the fiat monetary system. Others suggest that “it” began when we, as a nation, removed God from our schools and legalized the wholesale killing of unborn babies.
Anyone with spiritual discernment knows that America is in deep trouble. We are bankrupt, not just financially, but morally and spiritually. Some say our nation is broken beyond repair, and that we’ve perverted our Republic to such an extent that it would not be recognizable to our founding fathers. That which was once unacceptable is not only permitted, but encouraged under the guise of tolerance.
I’d like to quote a good friend of mine in response to this question. Steve Quayle, a long time talk show host and frequent well-known guest on national talk shows has said, and I’m paraphrasing now, that “you cannot fix a spiritual problem with a political solution.”
Our troubles run much deeper than politics, and it’s going to take much more than political solutions to get it back. Make no mistake, though, the government is preparing for a revolution.

President Obama placed our soldiers under UN NATO control for his war in Libya without consulting the United States Congress. Using our soldiers and our military assets according to what the “international community” global elites decide is clearly what Obama is interested in doing.
Another example of weakening America’s military defense was Obama’s push to enact the START Treaty. In short, the START Treaty places decisions about America’s defense in the hands of Russia and the global elites. Since when has an American president ceded our ability to defend our country by placing it in the hands of globalists who hate America? Obama has done the unthinkable… but there’s more.
The “Responsibility to Protect” (R2P) doctrine employed by the UN and advanced by Obama is beyond dangerous. Within the globalist’s charter is the ability to deem civil rights violations an offense warranting military action against the offending country.
No U.S. President in their right mind would ever condone R2P because of the simple realization that, at any time, R2P could be used against America. Obama is well aware that America is hated by other countries and their intent is to destroy our free market system and our way of life; numerous videos provide irrefutable evidence of this, as well as Middle East countries calling for “Death to America!” What would stop the UN global elites from claiming U.S. violations to warrant international military action?
Aren’t the liberals, led by George Soros, Obama, Eric Holder and their Marxist “community organizers,” calling for prosecution of the Bush administration for war crimes? “War crimes” (subject to the global elites’ definition of such) falls under the R2P charter too. Imagine future U.S. administrations that aren’t ‘in’ with the global elite’s like Obama; the global elites already have imagined it.
It’s no coincidence that Obama joined the UN Human Rights council and brought forth “abuses” committed by America. The “abuses” weren’t stoning women to death, suicide bombings or killing gays. No, it’s worse than that. According to President Obama, America is committing abuse by enforcing the laws of our land with regard to people who illegally cross our border.
Obama’s rules of engagement on the battlefield in Afghanistan and Iraq have been hidden from the American people. Few know that when Obama took the helm as Commander In Chief, he deliberately enacted procedures which place our soldiers at greater risk of injury and death to ensure they will be unable to succeed. Requiring that they receive approval from an attorney before they fire on the enemy and handing out awards to soldiers who do not fire on the enemy are just a couple of the unspeakable things Obama has done to harm our soldiers.
Soldier suicides, including National Guardsmen and Reservist’s, have skyrocketed under Obama’s command. In the past 5 years, a total of 975 suicides occurred – of which 543 (56%) were under Obama’s watch in just the past 2 years. 2009 saw 242 suicides and 2010 brought 301 suicides.
Obama’s unspeakable rules of engagement, START Treaty, R2P and his push to decrease military funding – along with everything else he is doing to subvert our military defense capabilities – represent his intention and actions to weaken America’s military defense.
The danger to America is reinforced by Eric Holder’s DOJ secretly arming Mexico’s drug cartel to put American citizens at greater risk in border states and Obama arming radical Islamists in Libya to put American soldiers at greater risk under UN control in Libya.
It’s stunning to see how Obama is actively aiding and abetting the destruction of America in every possible way.
If there is a military or Constitutional expert willing to examine the totality of President Obama’s actions that are weakening America’s military and civilian defenses, the time to do so is right now – without hesitation.
Is there anyone up to the task who hasn’t been bought off by the global elites?
Although the Great Depression of the 1930s began under Herbert Hoover, unemployment during Hoover's last year in office was not as high as it became during each of the first five years under FDR.
During the eight years of FDR's first two terms as president, there were only two years in which unemployment was lower than it had been under Herbert Hoover-- and not by much.
World War II has been credited by some with getting the United States out of the Great Depression. What the war did was put an end to the New Deal, as national survival became the top priority and replaced FDR's anti-business and class warfare rhetoric.
Senator Obama's rhetoric today is the anti-business and class warfare rhetoric that worked so brilliantly in a political sense for FDR in the 1930s. But Obama is following an opposite course from FDR when it comes to recognizing threats to American national security.
Senator Obama has repeatedly tried to deal with national security threats with rhetoric. He tried to dismiss the threat of a nuclear Iran with because Iran is "a small nation"-- even though it is larger than Japan, which launched a devastating attack against the United States at Pearl Harbor.
FDR had the good sense to begin urging greater military preparedness in 1940, more than a year before the United States was attacked. He said, "If you wait until you see the whites of their eyes, you will never know what hit you."
Cutting the military budget and taking foreign policy problems to the United Nations are Obama's version of "change."
That is change that we dare not believe in. It is the audacity of hype.
One of the few political cliches that makes sense is that "In politics, overnight is a lifetime."
Less than a year ago, the big question was whether Rudolph Giuliani could beat Hillary Clinton in this year's presidential election. Less than two months ago, Barack Obama had a huge lead over John McCain in the polls. Less than a week ago, the smart money was saying that Mitt Romney would be McCain's choice for vice president.
We don't need Barack Obama to create "change." Things change in politics, in the economy, and elsewhere in American society, without waiting for a political messiah to lead us into the promised land.
Who would have thought that Obama's big speech at the Democratic convention would disappoint expectations, while McCain's speech electrified his audience when he announced his choice of Governor Sarah Palin for his running mate?
Some people were surprised that his choice was a woman. What is more surprising is that she is an articulate Republican. How many of those have you seen?
Despite the incessantly repeated mantra of "change," Barack Obama's politics is as old as the New Deal and he is behind the curve when it comes to today's economy.
Senator Obama's statement that "our economy is in turmoil" is standard stuff on the left and in the mainstream media, which has been dying to use the word "recession."
Not only has the economic slowdown failed to reach the definition of a recession, the most recent data show the U.S. economy growing at a rate exceeding 3 percent-- a rate that many European economies would die for, despite our being constantly urged to imitate those countries whose end results are not as good as ours.
Barack Obama's "change" is a recycling of the kinds of policies and rhetoric of the New Deal that prolonged the Great Depression of the 1930s far beyond the duration of any depression before or since.
These are the same kinds of liberal policies that led to double-digit inflation, double-digit interest rates and rising unemployment during the Carter administration. These are "back to the future" changes to economic disasters that need repeating.
Make no mistake, the political rhetoric of FDR was great. For those who admire political rhetoric, as so many of Barack Obama's supporters seem to, FDR was tops. For those who go by actual results, FDR's track record was abysmal.
