New Film “The Unvetted” Exposes Obama’s Communist Cover-up

A new film from America’s Survival, Inc. documents what journalist Cliff Kincaid calls “one of the most extraordinary cover-ups in American history –how a presidential candidate with a covert connection to a major Communist Party operative was protected by the major liberal and conservative media.”

Kincaid is the president of America’s Survival, Inc. (ASI) and recently held a Washington, D.C. conference on “The Vetting” of Barack Obama. The 30 minute film “The Unvetted” is available for viewing for free at the ASI YouTube channel.

“Four years after we broke the story wide open with the release of a 600-page FBI file on Barack Obama’s communist mentor, we are still finding major elements of the media with their heads in the sand,” Kincaid said, in announcing the official release of the new film. Kincaid is a veteran Washington journalist with more than 30 years of experience.

The film is produced in cooperation with AB INDEPENDENT PRODUCTIONS, headed by Agustin Blazquez, producer/director of many documentaries, including “Che: The Other Side of an Icon.” The “Che” documentary, which told the truth about Castro’s communist revolution, was rejected for funding and airing by public television.

Working with blogger Trevor Loudon, Kincaid describes in the film how they uncovered the fact that Obama had concealed the identity of Frank Marshall Davis in his memoir Dreams from My Father, calling him just “Frank” and depicting him as a poet and writer.

“Obama knew that Frank Marshall Davis was an associate and mentor and that he had to protect his communist identity from public scrutiny,” Kincaid points out.

The film includes an interview with Kincaid and some of the original source material used to document Obama’s relationship with Davis.

“We expected silence and ridicule from the liberal media when we exposed Obama’s ‘Frank’ as Communist Frank Marshall Davis,” Kincaid said. “But the Drudge Report would not run my ads on Frank Marshall Davis during the fall of 2008. Fox News did not cover our news conference in May of 2008 revealing the communist identity of ‘Frank’ from Obama’s book.”

Kincaid went on, “The conservative media must stop protecting Obama from the scrutiny he deserves. Our film ‘The Unvetted’ explains this scandal and cover-up. Cliff Kincaid of America’s Survival held the critical National Press Club event on July 19th: The Vetting: Obama, Radical Islam and the Soros Connection. At this pivotal time, we face a national election that may well determine the fate of our great country. And as America goes, so goes the world.

Thus, it is not an exaggeration to describe this as the most important press conference in U.S. history, because it explicitly details, with new facts and more evidence than ever presented in one place at one time, from extensive, highly credible sources, the dangerously extremist nature of President Obama and the true goals of his virulently anti-American, radical leftist administration.

It further reveals how a huge network of U.S. and foreign communist and hard left organizations connected to this President has colluded with radical Islam for decades to oversee the destruction of their mutual enemy: America. Overshadowing all is the malevolent Soros network, and the billions he and others like him are devoting to facilitate this goal.

This information simply must reach the electorate before November.

Frank Marshall Davis’s Influence on Barack Obama

Paul Kengor is professor of political science at Grove City College and Executive Director of Grove City’s Center for Vision and Values. He is also a prolific author. His presentation at the Kincaid conference focused on his latest book, The Communist, Frank Marshall Davis: The Untold Story of Barack Obama’s Mentor. Other notable recent works include “The Crusader: Ronald Reagan and the Fall of Communism” and “Dupes: How America’s Adversaries Have Manipulated Progressives for a Century.”

In The Communist, Kengor delves deep into Davis’s past to produce an extensively documented biography of the man who had perhaps the most influence on Barack Obama of anyone in his life. Davis was a highly influential member of the American Communist Party, CPUSA member #47544, according to the FBI. He spent a lifetime engaged in pro-Soviet, communist activities. He likely moved to Hawaii to engage in surveillance for the Soviets, who considered the islands – not yet a U.S. state – of key military significance. Kengor shows just how deep Davis’s communist ties were, and how important he was to Obama’s worldview. Some highlights follow:

• Obama repeatedly describes Davis’ tremendous influence on him in his book “Dreams from My Father.”
• Davis is mentioned 22 times in “Dreams,” at least once in every section of the book
• Despite his pivotal importance, Obama never once identifies Davis by his full name
• All references to “Frank” have been purged from “Dreams” audio excerpts
• From the 1920s, American communists attempted to recruit black Americans
• From the 1920s, Soviet Union was sending money to American blacks
• Soviet goal was to create a separate “Negro Republic” in the American south
• Later they would join revolution to help create “Soviet America”
• Davis joined the Communist Party about 1943, after the Hitler/Stalin Pact was signed
• Davis founded and edited the CPUSA’s Chicago Star newspaper; regularly wrote virulently anti-American “Frank-ly Speaking” editorial
• Davis had “direct line to the Kremlin;” obtained exclusive interview for Star reporter with Soviet Foreign Minister Molotov
• Soviet agents I.F. Stone and Lee Pressman wrote for the Star
• Star editorial writer Howard Fast was a communist Hollywood screenwriter and winner of the Stalin Prize
• Two top Obama aides are connected to Davis cronies
• Vernon Jarrett (father-in-law of top Obama advisor, Valerie Jarrett) and Robert R. Taylor (Valerie Jarrett’s grandfather) knew and worked with Davis in Chicago on a communist project, the “American Peace Mobilization”
• Communist and suspected Soviet agent David Canter worked with Davis in Chicago
• Canter later mentored Obama chief strategist, David Axelrod. Axelrod coined “Hope and Change” slogan
• Soviet Union had strong strategic interest in Hawaii, not yet a state when Davis moved there
• Canter family and others purchased the Chicago Star to facilitate Davis’s move, and renamed it “The Progressive.”
• Communist Party founded Honolulu Record in August 1948, just in time for Davis’s move;
• Davis picked up at the Record where he left off, writing the same “Frank-ly Speaking” column until the paper’s demise in 1958
• FBI file shows that Davis was getting paid by International Longshoremen and Warehousemen’s Union,
• ILWU, run by CPUSA Central Committeeman Harry Bridges, was recognized as the union most penetrated by communists
• Davis used camera with telescopic lens to photograph Hawaiian shoreline
• Davis’s editorials for Both Star and Honolulu Record consistently followed the Soviet line
• For these and other Communist Party activities, FBI suspected Davis was working for Soviets
• FBI placed Davis on Security Index. Upon outbreak of war with USSR, Davis was subject to immediate arrest
• Davis was listed as a communist party member in a 1957 Senate Judiciary Committee report titled “Scope of Soviet Activity in the United States” which covered subversive activities in Hawaii

Until 1989, the Soviet Union controlled, directed and bankrolled all activities of the American Communist Party. All CPUSA members were therefore de facto Soviet agents, knowingly or otherwise. From all appearances, CPUSA member #47544, Frank Marshall Davis, knew it. He was very likely assigned to Hawaii specifically for surveillance and subversive purposes. So Frank Marshall Davis, Soviet agent or communist dupe, was the person with the most profound influence on our sitting President. Is Barack Obama similarly disposed? It certainly appears that way. And the next speaker presented a case that furthers this thesis.

Dreams from My Real Father

Joel Gilbert is the president of Highway 61 Entertainment in Los Angeles. He is a contributing editor for the national security and foreign policy website familysecuritymatters.org, and has appeared frequently as a foreign policy analyst on national radio shows. He is the writer and director of the notable films Atomic Jihad: Ahmadinejad's Coming War for Islamic Revival and Obama's Politics of Defeat and Farewell Israel: Bush, Iran, and the Revolt of Islam.

At the Kincaid conference he spoke about his new, groundbreaking film, “Dreams from My Real Father: A Story of Reds and Deception.” At first blush, I, like Cliff and others, was skeptical. But Gilbert extensively researched his subjects for this film, and uncovered previously unknown information about Obama’s family that lends strong credibility to his argument. Gilbert’s film convincingly advances the thesis that CPUSA member Frank Marshall Davis was not only Obama’s ideological father, but his biological father as well. It presents a “cohesive understanding of Obama’s deep-rooted life journey in socialism.” Evidence includes:

• A series of nude photos of Obama’s mother, Anne Dunham, taken by Davis at his Hawaii home when Dunham was five weeks pregnant with Obama
• Photos were sold to be used in a men’s mail order nude photo album
• Davis wrote extensively of sexual encounters with “Anne” in his autobiographical novel, “Sex Rebel Black”, and she was the subject of one of his erotic poems.
• Documents showing that Dunham attended college in Seattle, Washington immediately following Obama’s birth and was not in Hawaii with Obama Sr. as Obama claims
• Obama Sr. was already married to a woman in Kenya and had children of his own
• Marrying Anne would allow Obama to extend his stay
• Obama Sr. was brought to America through a CIA program and was welcomed to Hawaii by Anne Dunham’s father, Stanley
• Stanley Dunham had a strong personal incentive to hide his daughter’s relationship with Davis from authorities
• Obama’s physical features, including his height, build, facial features and freckles are very similar to Davis but nothing like Obama Sr. The correct pronunciation of “Barack” is “BEER-ick,” a pronunciation Obama never uses
• Obama’s poem, “Pop” was written about Davis

This and other information points to the conclusion that Davis was in fact Obama’s real father. Anne Dunham’s marriage to Obama was a sham to disguise her illegitimate pregnancy by Davis, a communist and probable Soviet agent.

Gilbert suggests that Obama’s birth certificate originally said “Father Unknown.” This thesis was also advanced by Sheriff Joe Arpaio’s cold case posse when they demonstrated that Obama’s published birth certificate had been tampered with. Gilbert unveils additional discoveries:

• Obama joined the communist May 19^th organization according to a former member
• May 19^th was a support group for the Weather Underground
• May 19^th members went to Cuba to be trained in explosives by Cuban intelligence
• May 19^th members were involved in the 1981 Brinks robbery, murdering two policemen and a Brinks employee
• Obama likely met Ayers while at Columbia
• Obama attended a Socialist Scholars Conference in spring of 1983 with Bill Ayers
• Obama was a “red diaper baby” as was Obama strategist David Axelrod

Gilbert further catalogs Obama’s lifetime among the radical left which he has covered with deception and lies. Obama has pushed a phony, contrived background to mask an agenda unacceptable to most Americans.

In closing, Gilbert related that he has received many emails from viewers of the DVD expressing their concerns about Obama. One notable message from a Vietnam veteran worried that America is about to lose its freedom, and asked: “What did I fight for? Please can you get this information out to millions? It is our only hope…”

Gilbert then announced:

“Because of people like [the veteran] and because almost all levels of the media are suppressing the vital facts about Obama… I’m announcing that my distribution company is planning to send a free copy in the U.S. mail to millions of households… this process has already begun. …We are expanding across all of the United States until every American understands the deadly Marxist dreams Obama has for us, from his real father, Frank Marshall Davis.”

Weather Underground: White Reds Exploiting Blacks

Larry Grathwohl is the only FBI informant to successfully penetrate the Weather Underground (WU). He testified before several federal Grand Juries, the U.S. Senate, and at the Mark Felt/Ed Miller FBI trail. He wrote the 1976 book, Bringing Down America, and now works with America’s Survival, Inc. to re-establish Congressional committees to investigate internal security problems. Larry continues to provide insights into this malevolent organization and its most famous members, Obama BFFs, Bill Ayers and Bernardine Dohrn. At the Kincaid conference he presents his report, White Reds Exploiting Blacks: The Weather Underground, Barack Obama, and the Fundamental Transformation of the United States.

Larry started by relating that FBI background investigations used to apply something called the CARL standard. CARL stands for Character, Associates, Reputation and Loyalty. By that standard, President Obama fails on all counts, but in particular, his associates are damning evidence of an attitude irreconcilably hostile to America, the country he is supposed to be serving as the highest elected official in the land.

Those of us familiar with Bill Ayers know that he authored Prairie Fire, WU’s communist manifesto, and that it was dedicated to people including Bobby Kennedy’s killer, Sirhan Sirhan. Most people are unaware that Ayers was denied a position at

According to Grathwohl, Ayers once said that both Kennedy assassinations were a good thing. In his own words:

I remember one meeting when our Weatherman “collective” brought up the subject of the Kennedy assassinations. At least 20 to 25 people were present and Bill Ayers was one of them. I heard Bill state that the murders of both John F. Kennedy and Robert F Kennedy were a good thing because liberals compromise the conflict between U.S. imperialism and the socialist revolution. Liberals prevent the contradictions from becoming obvious and thus prevent a revolution. Therefore, the assassinations of the Kennedys were to be welcomed as a necessary advance on the road to communist world revolution.

In other words, if someone’s existence messes up the narrative, Ayers says get rid of him! Robert Kennedy’s son, Christopher, who sits on the board of the University of Illinois, saw to it that Ayers was denied “emeritus” status because of this. Kennedy said, “There can be no place in a democracy to celebrate political assassinations or to honor those who do.”

Bill Ayers, just a guy in the neighborhood… Nothing to see here, move along…

Most people are unaware that WU was essentially a project of communist Cuba’s intelligence organ, the DGI. Larry describes Ayers’ WU activities:

• Ayers and Dohrn had numerous contacts with the DGI in both Cuba and Canada. DGI provided advice, logistical, communications, guerilla training and/or financial support
• This support extended to the May 19^th organization that Obama allegedly joined. May 19^th was responsible for the Brinks robbery and murders
• The FBI says an individual working for Soviet Intelligence joined Students for a Democratic Society – WU’s parent organization – as a spotter for recruits. SDS members figure prominently among Obama’s contacts and friends
• Bernardine Dohrn was egged on by the Cuban and Vietnamese communist agents, who claimed WU weren’t authentic revolutionaries due to their “white-skinned privilege”
• This bothered them because it was and is true that most “revolutionaries” come from wealthy backgrounds and don’t know a thing about being poor
• Weatherman doctrine claimed American minorities were a “colonized people” and could therefore legitimately fight a war of liberation, but white leaders were part of U.S. racist imperialism or at least benefited from it
• Yet, urged to recruit “authentic” black and Hispanic revolutionaries to the leadership, WU leaders resisted, feeling threatened and inadequate; feared losing their positions
• Ayers and Dohrn wrote a book in 2009 titled “Race Course Against White Supremacy”
• Publisher’s statement said: “Our work, the work of Ayers and Dohrn… made it possible for Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama to run for the presidency. And President Obama’s successful campaign started on the streets of Chicago.

Larry concludes that both blacks and Muslim terrorists, whom he says have been allies of the communists as “oppressed people of the Middle East”, are cannon fodder for the Left’s world revolution. “Blacks,” he said, “are not to be liberated, but exploited, even killed, on the road to liberation.”

Other conference participants included:

Ryan Mauro is the national security analyst for RadicalIslam.org, the website of the Clarion Fund, the organization that produced the films, “Obsession,” “The Third Jihad,” and “Iranium.” An adjunct online professor of terrorism and homeland security, he has a Bachelor’s degree in Intelligence Studies and a Master’s degree in Political Science from American Military University. He is an expert on the dangers posed by the Muslim Brotherhood. At the Conference he aired excerpts from The Third Jihad and took questions.

Mauro discussed the controversy surrounding Hillary Clinton’s aide, Huma Abedin (wife of former Rep. Anthony Weiner), and Walid Shoebat’s evidence that Abedin’s father, mother and brother either belong, or did belong (her father is deceased) to the Muslim Brotherhood. Was this compromising fact considered in her State Department employment?

When Rep. Michelle Bachman raised concerns about this, she was attacked not only by Democrats, but by Senator John McCain, House Speaker Boehner and other prominent Republicans. Rep. Bachman responded with a sixteen page letter to Muslim Democrat Rep. Keith Ellison, one of her harshest critics.

Jeremy Segal blogs at rebelpundit and is a disciple of the late Andrew Breitbart. He produced the video of Rep. Danny K. Davis being honored by the communist newspaper, People’s World, at the Communist Party U.S.A.’s headquarters in Chicago. The award was for a lifetime of “inspiring leadership.” Rep. Davis is an old friend of Barack Obama’s.

This press conference was a cornucopia of information. There was so much more, too much to be adequately described. One could literally write a book about it. A few more items, however, bear repetition here.

• The alleged Wikileaks source, U.S. Army Sergeant Bradley Manning, claims that his information sources include Shin Inouye, an Obama White House official
• Holder’s Justice Department has blocked efforts to impose the death penalty on Manning
• Robert Kennedy’s killer, Sirhan Sirhan was a hardcore communist and called the date of Kennedy’s death the beginning of the end for America
• JFK’s killer, Lee Harvey Oswald, was also a committed communist. He was also a Soviet agent, who was trained in assassination by the KGB
• Ion Mihai Pacepa, the former Romanian intelligence chief who defected to the U.S. submitted a report for the Kincaid conference which provides proof of Oswald’s KGB connection
• A recent book by former CIA Case Officer Brian Littel charges that Cuba knew of Kennedy’s assassination plot before it happened, and was probably behind it, along with the Soviet Union.

George Soros and the Prison De-Population Movement

On Friday July 20^th, James E. Holmes allegedly shot up an Aurora, Colorado movie theater, killing twelve and wounding scores more. Allegations surfaced that Holmes was a member of the Occupy movement and perhaps a participant in violent “Black Bloc” activities. This has not been confirmed and the media has suspiciously gone silent on his past. However, one thing has been confirmed. If Democrat sugar daddy George Soros had his way, guys like Holmes, in fact every violent felon currently behind bars would be set free.

Among the hundreds of extremist leftwing organizations supported by Soros’ ill-gotten gains is Critical Resistance, a group founded by communist cop-killer Angela Davis that advocates throwing the prison doors open because American prisons are tools of white racist capitalists and prisoners are “victims” of our oppressive government. Critical Resistance has advocated:

• Prison Strikes
• Abolishing solitary confinement, which they call “torture”
• Effort to ban employee criminal background checks, a move now being considered by the Equal Opportunity Employment Commission
• “Adequate” standard of living and medical care for prisoners
• Release of domestic terrorist Marilyn Buck, Eric Holder’s Justice Department granted that request and unrepentant convicted murderer Buck is now free

A related organization is the W. Haywood Burns Institute. Domestic terrorist and Obama friend Bernardine Dohrn sits on its board. Burns was Dohrn’s brother-in-law and a communist lawyer who defended Angela Davis and other radicals. Obama’s Harvard mentor, Derrick Bell, another communist, revered Burns.

The Obama/Holder Justice Department has awarded $400,000 to the Burns Institute. Could this be because Dohrn is on the board or do they support the agenda for its own sake? Where was the mass media?

Ayers and Dohrn – just people in the neighborhood. Nothing to see here; move along…

Red Dawn, Still Crazy After All These Years…

Здравствуйте! A formal hello, how ya doin’? salute with a middle finger and a nuclear bomber from the Ruskies has come our way not once, but twice in the last two weeks. Seems to me the Russians are itching for war and are prepping on all fronts. This time Moscow dispatched nuclear-capable bombers into the 200-mile zone surrounding U.S. territory. They came just short of breaching the 12 mile zone we consider sovereign air space. The previous incident involved two Tu-95 Bear H bombers and took place near Alaska as part of arctic war games that Russian military claim included simulated attacks on “enemy” air defenses and strategic facilities. How very ‘Red Dawn.’

I’m sure you all remember how Red Dawn was “over the top” and “completely implausible” and other dismissive epithets of the “that’s crazy — it could never happen” variety. And anyone who actually tried to have a discussion of a scenario like that was summarily labeled “nuts.” Well, after all these years, I have to wonder if that idea is still “crazy,” or if its very plausibility drives the four-year delay of the movie’s remake — you know, the one that was supposed to release just before the 2008 election and which now won’t be released until after the 2012 election. Yeah. Still crazy, after all these years. Let’s look further into this…

It appears our old pals, the Russians, are war gaming striking two of our strategic missile sites with their long-range air-launched cruise missiles: Fort Greely, Alaska and Vandenberg Air Force Base, California. Yeah, now I know why Obama is so cuddly with Putin, they both have similar goals of destroying America.

Not long ago, Russia brought up the ominous specter of a preemptive first strike against the United States. This was in response to US deployments of missile defense interceptors and sensors in Europe. As far as I know, we are moving ahead with those activities. In Russia’s eyes, if the situation gets any worse, they will decide whether to hit us or not and they smell blood and weakness in the waters surrounding America these days. It would be the perfect emergency.

Retired Air Force Lt. Gen. Thomas McInerney, a former Alaska commander for the North American Aerospace Defense Command, said the latest Bear H intrusion appears to be Russian military testing.

“It’s becoming very obvious that Putin is testing Obama and his national security team,” McInerney told the Free Beacon. “These long-range aviation excursions are duplicating exercises I experienced during the height of the Cold War when I command the Alaska NORAD region.

McInerney said the Bear H flights are an effort by the Russians to challenge U.S. resolve, something he noted is “somewhat surprising as Obama is about to make a unilateral reduction of our nuclear forces as well as major reductions in our air defense forces.”

“Actions by Russia in Syria and Iran demonstrate that Cold War strategy may be resurrected,” he said.

“These are not good indications of future U.S. Russian relations.”

Indeed, these are very bad indications and all Americans should be paying attention to this. Russia is beefing up their weaponry while we are cutting ours (thanks to the dumb bastard in the White House). When Romney is elected, he may have more than just economic headaches to worry about. The Russian Bear with Iran and China could very well pull us into a nuclear World Ware III. The Cold War never went away folks. Don’t kid yourselves.

On May 3, 2012, Russian Chief of General Staff Nikolai Makarov warned that Russia would deploy its strategic nuclear rockets in Kaliningrad Oblast, potentially to destroy the U.S. antiballistic missile defense system, planned for Europe. Makarov went even further, warning of a possible preemptive nuclear attack. “A decision to use destructive force preemptively will be taken if the situation worsens,” Makarov said.

The planned U.S. missile defense system to protect Europe from a nuclear missile attack has caused much friction between Russia and United States. Russia considers the antiballistic missile system an encroachment on its traditional “sphere of influence” and a threat to its national security, seeing as it could neutralize Russia’s nuclear deterrence of Europe. In the event of a war, this would give the U.S. and NATO a considerable advantage; the U.S. or NATO would be able to launch a preemptive strike on Russia without having to fear nuclear retaliation. As a result, Russia views the system as an indication the U.S. and NATO intend to go to war with Russia.

The U.S., on the other hand, has repeatedly stated that its intention is not to deter a missile launch from Russia, but from either Iran or North Korea. The U.S. and its NATO partners, including Britain, Poland, and the Czech Republic, are committed to its deployment, while Russia fiercely opposes it. Neither side will budge — that is up until now.

“This is my last election. After my election I have more flexibility,” President Barack Obama privately told Russian President Dmitry Medvedev, at the Nuclear Security Summit, in Seoul, South Korea, on March 26, 2012. Medvedev replied, “I understand you. I transmit this information to Vladimir [Putin], and I stand with you.” Vladimir Putin was not the only person Obama’s “private message” was transmitted to. Unbeknownst to Obama or Medvedev, their conversation was recorded and broadcast live via an open microphone and camera.

Obama has no intention of protecting America and several well-placed EMP’s would take our military and electrical grids down for the count. Millions would die and that is IF the Russians and Chinese don’t physically invade us. If they do, even more will die and the red, white and blue will become just red. It will make Red Dawn look like a walk in the fricking park. Tick bloody tock.

Of course, after the two incidents with the Russians, instead of upping our security threat level, the Obama administration immediately began to downplay the threat as merely a training activity. Training for what then? Tag? How do you think the Russians view this? They think we are cowards and weak – vulnerable to attack and they would be right. And still NORAD and our weak kneed leaders say they do not consider these intrusions to be a credible threat. Well, now I feel ALL better, don’t you?

The Alaska bomber flights coincided with a summit between Obama and Putin in Mexico on June 18. The other was Putin’s Fourth of July Bear greeting to Obama.

According to U.S. officials, some 30 bombers and support aircraft took part in the war games, including the Bear Hs and Tu-160 Blackjack bombers.

As reported by The Washington Free Beacon, Russian Air Force spokesman Lt. Col. Vladimir Deryabin, told reporters in Moscow last month that the arctic strategic war games “practice destruction of enemy air defenses and strategic facilities.” Do the math.

Remember, it’s totally a coincidence that the remake of the movie Red Dawn has now been delayed four years. Coinciding with a presidential election — right after the election. How convenient. Red Dawn is “still crazy” after all these years and yet could happen any day. America should be vigilant.

The Media Elite's Crucifixion of Sarah Palin

I am 49 years of age and have witnessed 12 presidential election cycles in America. Our family was living in Big Stone Gap, Virginia when President Kennedy was assassinated. I recall the Vietnam War era in the sixties, and the rise of the left wing Democrats under George McGovern, which shifted the Democratic Party platform from a moderate-conservative group to eventually an openly liberal anti-war, pro-choice platform that now seems to permeate the party base.

The previous generations of my family were coal miners from West Virginia. My great grandfathers Rexrode and Bava, along with my grandfathers John Bava and William Stone, all worked miles underground in dark caverns of the coal mines, chipping away under the mountains, providing a major energy source for North America. The coal miner’s union was always pro Democrat, thus the coal miners always, without question, would vote for the Democratic candidate in all elections. The Union was a great help to the miners and when my Grandfather died at age 84 the UMW paid his entire medical bill. Without the union, many miners would have starved to death during the occasional slow times and shut downs. Thus I am grateful to UMW leaders who cared for these hard working miners for many years.

However, the state of West Virginia has shifted from a Democratic state and has voted for the Republican candidate in the past several elections. Being from West Virginia and having talked to hundreds of individuals from the state, I have asked them why has there been a political shift. The common answer is the leadership in the Democratic Party has left the important moral and social Bible based values and is now controlled by left wing ideological extremists, who have built a platform which demands abortion rights, gay rights and large government which are contrary to the moral and social and spiritual beliefs of a vast number of West Virginians.

One thing that greatly disturbed not just West Virginians, but every person that Pam and I personally know, was the biased public crucifixion of Alaska Governor Sarah Palin. In the spring of 2008, I was ministering in a regional meeting in Indiana and heard from a very reliable political source that the selection of John McCain would be the female governor of Alaska. The woman who told me this said Mrs. Palin was “a brilliant person with strong character and faith.” I had forgotten about this prediction until the afternoon that Senator McCain introduced the governor as his running mate.

As I followed the campaign, I paid careful attention to the words she spoke and her vision for America. A staff worker for the opposing campaign has admitted they did not know what to do with her. Senator Obama had rejected Hillary Clinton, and there was a concern that many of the 18 million Hillary voters would jump ship and vote for Palin. With such concerns there was only one thing to do, the same thing the Pharisees did when they felt threatened by the popularity of Christ - plan for a public crucifixion. The anti-Christian media immediately found a hammer and some nails and began dragging the governor’s good name through the mud. Soon word was out that Palin was “beautiful but not smart enough to be President if McCain were to suddenly die in office.”

The opposing side sent lawyers to Alaska to dig up any dirt and find any skeletons hanging in a closet to embarrass the governor. Nothing of significance was discovered or uncovered that was not already public knowledge. When this failed, then major news magazines had their writers to attack the religious background and faith of the governor, painting her as some religious fanatic on a fringe who believed in the coming of Christ. Readers were warned about putting someone with these “apocalyptic” beliefs in office. Of course, Americans were also warned of electing Reagan and George Bush as presidents because of their religious beliefs! The theory suggests that a president who believed in the prophetic Scriptures might be tempted to pull the nuclear trigger to introduce the last days. Amazingly, we survived eight years of Reagan and instead of a nuclear war, Communism collapsed! During eight years of Bush, instead of Armageddon, his leadership helped prevent about 35 possible terrorist attacks in America, and neither of these two Bible reading presidents performed an apocalyptic act of self destruction!

For many weeks the brain dead news media found it necessary to crucify Sarah Palin afresh on a daily basis. I won’t repeat all of the criticism, but want to make one observation. I believe many in the legislative branch of the government have hardened their hearts as Pharaoh did in Egypt. After politicians have lived in Washington and served for long terms, it appears they forget what it really means to suffer financially, struggle to make house and car payments, and even cut back on grocery shopping because of high prices. The establishments in the political elite from both parties spend hours and days with rich lobbyists who continually finance their campaigns to ensure their re-election, for the small price of passing legislation in favor of their lobbying groups.

Sarah was the greatest breath of fresh air I have seen in 12 election cycles. She was not an Ivy League lawyer, educated by old school socialist professors with an agenda to transform America into a socialist government. She was not a professional politician who used her family name and family wealth (such as the Kennedys) to “buy” her way to a position. She was a mayor, governor, a mom who even stopped by Wal-Mart to buy diapers for her infant son. It was her simplicity; sincerity and humility that caused cold sweats among her opposition and made the anti-god Christian critics become hate mongers on steroids.

Recently, an unidentified member of the McCain campaign came out criticizing her again. First, what type of person with any integrity would make negative statements and not back them up with their name or identity? When I receive critical letters or e-mails from negative people who do not sign their name, it goes in an Office Max shredder next to my desk. A nameless critic has the same integrity of a masked robber who is willing to strip you while hiding their identity.

Had McCain not chosen Mrs. Palin, he could have possibly lost several states that he won. She brought new life to the base and energized many for the McCain/Palin ticket. It was refreshing to see a woman of character who was not from a linage of professional politicians and was not marketed by the media, speaking from her heart and not just from a teleprompter.

You could see Sarah’s magic with the people this past weekend in an interview with Hannity, at the Ames Iowa State Fair the weekend of the Iowa GOP Debate and Straw Poll (in which she was not taking part), where she and her family rolled in, in her tour bus. They have traveled around the country as Sarah gives inspirational talks on the greatness of America and supports events and candidates as asked.  She garnered a much larger and much more enthusiastic crowd than any of the candidates or other guests in the 3-days of interviews on Hannity’s show or anyone else's.  It really is a shame that so many Americans allowed a liberal media, who blindly supports someone who fundamentally wants to transform America into a shell of what she used to be, to degrade and demean a woman who loves America, capitalism, and the Constitution and would fight to the finish for us to fix the debt crisis, make us energy independent, uphold the Constitution and restore America’s greatness.

Americans always want a down to earth person, who can relate to their needs and lives, to run.  That is Sarah Palin.  And fiscal conservatives, she is the closest candidate out there to Ronald Reagan’s beliefs… so why would people allow the elite media to destroy her and thereby the opportunity to elect someone who would fight for us and our values… why?

Palin has a passion for this country!  That is why she neither has to speak in a monotone from prepared remarks on a teleprompter or repeat talking points over and over again.  She speaks from her heart.   M~

Sarah Palin has made her mark and the established elite media and political talking heads cannot just make her disappear. Personally, I hope she continues her quest to help this nation and allows her words to not be an echo from the past but a voice for the future. And this is my humble opinion as a tax paying American citizen.

What If…

2012 the Movie... Fiction or Warning?

I was giving myself a mental break from the never ending barrage of news, events and negativity that we are living with these days… at least those of us who are paying attention.  As I was flicking through the channels, I came across the Movie 2012, beginning in 5-minutes. I had missed seeing it at the movies and only caught the tail end on television once before.

I watched it a little more intently than last time and before I was long into the movie, I found my mind racing.  Was this supposed to be pure entertainment or was this a warning? As we have moved into the Perfect Storm era I have become the ultimate ‘out of the box possibility thinker’, both for good and bad.  Then when I went online and found that several trailers had been disabled in reviews on the 2012 movie, my thoughts went into over-drive.

I’m not saying that the world is ending in 2012 but I’m not saying it isn’t either; that is for the man upstairs to know.  What I am saying is that much of what was interjected into the movie is true, is already happening or could happen.  And one of the main themes of the movie that sprung out at me was ‘the elite’ who were (and are) running the U.S. government as well as the governments of the world not warning their people, keeping the news about possible upcoming disasters hidden and in the end saving themselves.  Is there anyone out there who doesn’t think that would be the way it would go?

And then I started wondering about an article I saw the other day on Collectivists and China being the first globalist experiment. 

My mind took me to a whole different realm.  All of a sudden the picture of President George W. Bush and a whole lot of other world leaders, who had ignored every Chinese civil rights, animal rights (sorry about the missing photos), and IOC violation as well as festering political and economic problems with China to award them the games, sitting together at the Chinese Olympics, popped into my head.

And then as I was watching the chosen people filing into the arcs I had a strange thought… what if there aren’t arcs, but cities built in areas that might not be affected or reached by massive amounts of water and the devastation, like on the Earth’s highest peaks… like the Himalayas, as I remembered the story of China’s ghost cities… What if??

There are amazing satellite images that show sprawling cities built in remote parts of China that have been left completely abandoned, sometimes years after their construction, or basically never lived in.

Elaborate public buildings and open spaces are completely unused, with the exception of a few government vehicles near Communist authority offices.

Some estimates put the number of empty homes at as many as 64 million, with up to 20 new cities being built every year in the country's vast swathes of free land, some high up in the mountains.

As photographs have emerged a Chinese government think tank warns that the country's real estate bubble is getting worse, with property prices in major cities overvalued by as much as 70 per cent.  Does that make any sense?  No more than perhaps they are getting ready for something?  The only question is what?

Documents uncovered by a legal watchdog group prove Supreme Court Justice Elena Kagan was involved in the Obama administration’s legal defense of the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act, otherwise known as “ObamaCare.”

Judicial Watch has released a number of administration communiqués that show Kagan, who was then Solicitor General, presided over the president’s response to lawsuits asserting the government health care bill is unconstitutional.

On January 8, 2010, Brian Hauck, Senior Counsel to Associate Attorney General Thomas Perrelli, wrote to Kagan’s deputy, Neal Katyal, asking for the office’s assistance in “how to defend against the inevitable challenges to the health care proposals that are pending.” Three minutes later, Katyal replied, “Absolutely right on. Let’s crush them. I’ll speak with Elena and designate someone.” After Katyal volunteered, Kagan responded, “You should do it.”[1]

A few hours later, Katyal updated Hauck, writing, “Brian, Elena would definitely like OSG [the Office of Solicitor General] to be involved in this set of issues.” Katyal added,”I will handle this myself, along with an Assistant from my office, (Name Redacted – BJ), and we will bring Elena in as needed.”(Emphasis added.)

The Justice Department continues to withhold a series of e-mails that would disclose Kagan’s exact role in the negotiations. However, it has turned over the Vaughn index, which describes the items being stonewalled in general terms. These include seven e-mails written from March 17-21, 2010. Kagan was copied on three e-mails that discuss “what categories of legal arguments may arise and should be prepared in the anticipated lawsuit.” Another four dealt with “expected litigation” against the health care law; Elena Kagan wrote one of the four being withheld.

In the same week, Perrelli announced a White House meeting “to help us prepare for litigation.” Katyal wrote Kagan, “I think you should go, no?” Kagan ended the paper trail cold, responding, “What’s your phone number?”

This White House and its allies have a history of producing documents that airbrush high-level attendees out of controversial meetings. The Center for Public Integrity has declared the White House visitor logs are “riddled with holes.”

Once Kagan had been nominated for the High Court, Katyal decided Kagan had never been involved in the proceedings in the least.

One year ago yesterday, Justice Department spokeswoman Tracy Schmaler wrote an e-mail acknowledging Katyal was “point” (of reference) on defending ObamaCare, but asking him, “Has Elena been involved in any of that to the extent SG office was consulted?” Katyal responded, “No, she has never been involved in any of it. I’ve run it for the Office, and have never discussed the issue with her one bit.” (Does anyone innocent speak that way?) Katyal later insisted Kagan had been “walled off from Day One.”

After Katyal alerted Elena to the inquiry, a jittery Kagan jumped in, instructing Schmaler, “This needs to be coordinated. Tracy, you should not say anything about this before talking to me.”

This author noted in February that Barack Obama refused to produce documents revealing Elena Kagan’s role in defending ObamaCare. (Obama has long engaged in selectively enforcing the law on FOIA requests.) The reason is simple: without her vote, the signature bill of his presidency is likely to be found unconstitutional.

The justices will soon hear two legal challenges from the states of Virginia and Florida, which already cleared lower courts.

Federal statute 28 U.S.C. 455 demands that a judge must step aside “in any proceeding in which his impartiality might reasonably be questioned” or in which he (or she) “participated as counsel, adviser or material witness concerning the proceeding or expressed an opinion concerning the merits of the particular case in controversy.”

By telling Katyal he “should do it,” Kagan appointed the point person who defended ObamaCare. Further e-mails from March 24 reveal Kagan was copied

on the administration’s plan to coordinate with U.S. attorneys in fighting state lawsuits against ObamaCare. And she may have attended the administration’s meeting mentioned in the e-mail.

Frankly, it strains credulity to believe the president’s most important legal adviser provided no legal advice on this issue.

Obama knows the Constitution is “a charter of negative liberties. It says what the states can’t do to you, says what the federal government can’t do to you, but it doesn’t say what the federal government or the state government must do on your behalf.” He considers the Constitution“the fundamental flaw of this country that continues to this day.” To complete his revolution, he has packed the Supreme Court with justices sure to rule his way.

At present, the court is relatively evenly split between constitutionalists Antonin Scalia, , Samuel Alito, Clarence Thomas, and John Roberts versus progressive revisionists Elena Kagan, Ruth Bader Ginsburg, Sonia Sotomayor, and Stephen Breyer. (Anthony Kennedy, the “swing vote,” regularly cites foreign law in place of the U.S. Constitution.)

Kagan is regarded as politically savvy. While clerking for ultra-liberal Supreme Court Justice Thurgood Marshall, Kagan urged Thurgood not to allow the Supreme Court to hear cases if she believed the court would rule against her, creating Originalist precedent. For example, she advised Marshall to refuse the case of a female prisoner who wanted the state to pay for her abortion. Kagan worried the court would rule against the woman, writing, “This case is likely to become the vehicle that this court uses to create some very bad law on abortion and/or prisoners’ rights.” At Harvard and elsewhere, Kagan has been known for her smooth handling of competing groups, working them around to her way of thinking.

Without Kagan, Obama loses at least one, and perhaps two, pivotal votes, and ObamaCare goes the way of the National Recovery Administration and the Agricultural Adjustment Act.

At a minimum, Kagan’s actions constitute “the appearance of impropriety.” Elena Kagan must recuse herself when the state challenges reach the High Court.

If she violates this federal statute, she should be impeached and removed from her seat.

Then again, one can hardly expect this from the same people who did not have the guts to keep her from being confirmed in the first place.

80,000 Soldiers On AMERICAN SOIL.......Being Trained And Stationed At Fort Stewart, Georgia

Many scientists believe that the big Solar Storm is about to erupt, sending EMPs at earth (something that the government has tried to keep under wraps). If the electrical grid and communications, computers, etc are disrupted, chaos would supervene. This could also be the beginning of the "tribulation." The cities would be without light, heat, sanitation, food and other necessities in less than a week.

There would be mass evacuations and the gangs would try to take over. It would be a probable time for attacks from the enemies of America and the onset of world wide panic, famine, plagues. I would strongly suggest getting out of the cities now and heading for safer areas.

Military Police State Coming?  Police State; noun, also known as Military Police State

(1) A state in which the government exercises rigid and repressive controls over the social, economic, and! political life of the people.

(2) A nation whose rulers maintain order and obedience by the threat of police or military force; one with a brutal, arbitrary government.

I don't care which side of the political aisle you are on.

You could be a die-hard Obama supporter, or you can hate everything he and his policies stand for, or think they stand for.

But according to the Army Times Magazine, Prez Obama has done another first, never before in the history of this Nation; and I personally cannot help but wonder exactly WHY?

Prez Obama has ordered the full time and permanent Military Response to ANY upcoming social CIVILIAN chaos event here in the United States.

So what exactly does Prez Obama know, or suspect, that the rest of us do not know, yet some people do suspect?

And exactly what kind of "Military Response" to a civilian threat is Obama preparing?

Well apparently the mere threat of civilian chaos is so large ! that a domestic law-enforcement arm of the U.S. military (refe! rred to by The Army Times as the "Consequence Management Response Force") has been created to deal with what U.S. officials believe to be a coming, unprecedented wave of massive civilian social chaos.

A recent report by the Army War College's Strategic Studies Institute states flatly the U.S. military must prepare for "a violent, strategic dislocation inside the United States" that could be provoked by "unforeseen economic collapse" or "loss of functioning political and legal order."

The Army Times has reported that the domestic emergency army unit has been increased 80,000 COMBAT trained troops.

Many of these are combat veterans returning from Iraq and who are currently, and will be in the future, being trained and stationed at Fort Stewart, Georgia.

The 3rd Infantry Division’s 1st Brigade Combat Team has spent 35 of the last 60 months in Iraq patrolling in full battle rattle, helping restore essential services and escorting supply convoys.

Now ! they’re preparing for the same mission here at home.

WHY?

It is not the first time an active-duty unit has been tapped to help at home.

In August 2005, for example, when Hurricane Katrina unleashed hell in Mississippi and Louisiana, several active-duty units were pulled from various posts and mobilized to those areas to HELP care for civilians.

But this new mission marks the first time an active unit has ever been given a permanent dedicated assignment within the United States.

WHY??? WHY NOW???

NorthCom, the joint command that was established in 2002 to provide command and control for federal homeland defense efforts in case of TERRORIST ATTACKS, is now being prepared to be used in support of CIVILIAN AUTHORITIES in case the civilian population gets 'out of hand'.

The brigade will not change its name, but the force will be known for the next year as a CBRNE Consequence Management Response Force, or CCMRF (pronounced "se! a-smurf").

The Army states that the Combat Troops used ! to ‘maintain civilian order here in the United States’ will use some of the tactics and skills they acquired in the Iraq War Zone, but apparently do not feel they will have to deal with being shot at by American Civilians while using those tactics and skills.

Training for homeland 'scenarios' has already begun at Fort Stewart and includes specialty tasks such as extra medical training for a CBRNE incident.

"It’s a new modular package of capabilities that they’re fielding. They’ve been using pieces of it in Iraq, but this is the first time that these modules were consolidated and this package fielded, and because of this mission (war on American Civilians??) we’re undertaking we were the first to get it." Said one Unit Commander.

The package includes equipment to stand up a hasty road block; spike strips for slowing, stopping or controlling traffic; shields and batons; etc.

And some of the brigade elements will also be on call around the clock, during which! time they’ll do their regular marksmanship, gunnery and other deployment training.

Now American Civilians need to be prepared to deal with Combat Troops that are training to use this war-zone tactics on American Soil, on American Civilians.

Now I don't know about anyone else, but I can read pretty damn well.

I see SEVERAL issues with all of this, and they all concern me greatly.

Why would Obama need an 80,000 COMBAT force of armed soldiers, to support 'civilian authority' (his authority?) here in CONUS, ie: the Continental United States?

What makes Obama so concerned about any 'uprising or chaos' from the American Civilian Population? What does he know that no one else knows, or accepts?

WHY would the civilian population get 'out of hand' or create 'violent chaos' that would require the intervention of 80,000 armed military combat soldiers?

Why is it these Combat Troops have NO FEAR of being shot at by the American Civilian Population they are attempting to 'control'?

Does Obama use these guys to take our firearms first?

Look, I could care less if you are a Koolaid drinking Obama worshiper or not.

THIS PERMANENT Military Combat Brigade of 80,000 soldiers on AMERICAN SOIL for the express purpose of 'controlling the American Civilian Population' if and when needed, is one hell of a scary thought.

This is the FIRST time in American history any President, or anyone else for that matter, has set up a full time, permanent Military Unit for this purpose, on American Soil.

In any other country, like Russia, China, Cuba, it would be called a Military Police State when you use the military to control the civilian population.

I wonder what this freaking Messiah plans on calling it;

"Hope Ya Liked Your Liberty, Cause It's Gone Now, For your Own Good Of Course."

America's Police Brutality Pandemic  - Archive from 2007

Bush's "war on terror" quickly became Bush's war on Iraqi civilians. So far over one million Iraqi civilians have lost their lives because of Bush's invasion, and four million have been displaced. Iraq's infrastructure is in ruins. Disease is rampart. Normal life has disappeared.

Self-righteous Americans justify these monstrous crimes as necessary to ensure their own safety from terrorist attack. Yet, Americans are in far greater danger from their own police forces than they are from foreign terrorists. Ironically, Bush's "war on terror" has made Americans less safe at home by diminishing US civil liberty and turning an epidemic of US police brutality into a pandemic.

The only terrorist most Americans will ever encounter is a policeman with a badge, nightstick, mace and Taser. A Google search for "police brutality videos" turns up 2,210,000 entries. Some entries are foreign and some are probably duplications, but the number is so large that a person could do nothing but watch police brutality videos for the rest of his life. A search on "You Tube" alone turned up 2,280 police brutality videos. PrisonPlanet has a selection of the most outrageous recent cases.

Police brutality has crossed the line from using excessive force against a resisting Rodney King to unprovoked gratuitous violence against persons offering no resistance, such as the elderly, women, students, and elected officials. Americans are not safe anywhere from police.Police attack Americans in university libraries, in public meetings, and in their own homes.

Last week we had the case of the University of Florida student who was repeatedly Tasered without cause for asking Senator Kerry some good questions in the question and answer period following Kerry's speech. Two days after the Florida student was gratuitously brutalized, Senate Republicans defeated Vermont Democrat Patrick Leahy's bill to restore habeas corpus protection.

A UCLA student was Tasered by police without cause for studying in the university library without having his student ID on his person. Following police orders to leave, the student was walking toward the door when police grabbed him and repeatedly Tasered him.

On September 19, 2007 a young woman was repeatedly Tasered without cause by a large brutal cop in a parking lot outside a night club in Warren Ohio.

On September 14, 2007, Roseland, Indiana, city council member David Snyder was ejected from a council meeting by dictatorial council chairman Charlie Shields. Snyder had protested being limited to one minute to speak. Police goon Jack Tiller escorted Snyder out, and as Snyder exited the building, Tiller, following behind, pushed Snyder to the ground and without cause began beating Snyder in the head with a nightstick. Snyder was hospitalized.

Local TV news stations throughout the US offer an endless stream of police brutality videos, which are then posted on the stations' web sites, often with an opportunity for citizens to express their opinion of the incidents.

There are many disturbing aspects to police brutality cases.

One disturbing aspect is that the police always arrest the people that they have gratuitously brutalized. There was no justification whatsoever to arrest councilman Snyder, or the UCLA student, or the University of Florida student. The cops committed assault against innocent citizens. The cops should have been arrested for their criminal acts. Instead, the cops cover up their own crimes by arresting their victims on false charges that are invented to justify the unprovoked police violence against citizens.

Another disturbing aspect is that no one tells the police to stop the brutality. "Free" Americans are so intimidated by police that on February 19 of this year male customers in a Chicago bar stood aside while a drunk cop weighing 251 pounds beat a 115 pound barmaid, knocking her to the floor with his fists and repeatedly kicking her, for obeying the bar rules and not serving him more drinks.

Yet another disturbing aspect is that a minority of citizens will justify each act of police brutality no matter how brutal and how unprovoked. For example, WNDU.com's poll of its viewers found that 64.2% agreed that Snyder was a victim of police brutality, but 27.8% thought that Snyder got what was coming to him. "Law and order conservatives" and other authoritarian personalities invariably defend acts of police brutality. Perhaps the police brutality pandemic will bring the day when we will be able to say that a civil libertarian is a law and order conservative who has been brutalized by police.

The most disturbing aspect is that the police usually get away with it.

I remember decades ago when civil libertarians in New York City tried to stop police brutality by establishing civilian review boards to introduce some accountability into the police's interaction with civilians. Law and order conservatives at William F. Buckley's National Review went berserk. Accountability was "second-guessing" the police. The result would be a crime wave. And so on.

Police forces have always attracted bullies with authoritative personalities who desire to beat senseless anyone who does not quake in their presence. In the past police could get away with brutalizing blacks but not whites. Today white citizens are as likely as racial minorities to be victims of police brutality.

The police are supreme. The militarization of the police, armed now with military weapons and trained to view the general public as the enemy, against whom "pain compliance" must be used, has placed every American at risk of personal injury and false arrest from our "public protectors."

In "free and democratic America," citizens are in such great danger from police that there are websites devoted to police brutality with online forms to report the brutality.

Nine years ago Human Rights Watch published a report entitled, "Shielded from Justice: Police Brutality and Accountability in the United States." The report stated:

"Police abuse remains one of the most serious and divisive human rights violations in the United States. The excessive use of force by police officers, including unjustified shootings, severe beatings, fatal chokings, and rough treatment, persists because overwhelming barriers to accountability make it possible for officers who commit human rights violations to escape due punishment and often to repeat their offenses. Police or public officials greet each new report of brutality with denials or explain that the act was an aberration, while the administrative and criminal systems that should deter these abuses by holding officers accountable instead virtually guarantee them impunity.

"This report examines common obstacles to accountability for police abuse in fourteen large cities representing most regions of the nation. The cities examined are: Atlanta, Boston, Chicago, Detroit, Indianapolis, Los Angeles, Minneapolis, New Orleans, New York, Philadelphia, Portland, Providence, San Francisco, and Washington, D.C. Research for this report was conducted over two and a half years, from late 1995 through early 1998.

"The brutality cases examined, which are set out in detail in chapters on each city, are similar to cases that continue to emerge in headlines and in survivors' complaints. It is important to note, however, that because it is difficult to obtain case information except where there is public scandal and/or prosecution, this report relies heavily on cases that have reached public attention; disciplinary action and criminal prosecution are even less common than the cases set out below would suggest.

There is no way to hold police accountable when the president and vice president of the United States, the attorney general, and the Republican Party maintain that the civil liberties and the separation of powers mandated by the US Constitution must be abandoned in order that the executive branch can keep Americans safe from terrorists.

Even before the "war on terror," federal police murdered 100 people in the Branch Davidian compound at Waco, and no one was held accountable.

Who is a terrorist? If the police and the US government have the mentality of airport security, they cannot tell a terrorist from an 86-year old Marine general on his way to give a speech at West Point. Retired Marine Corps General Joseph J. Foss was delayed and nearly had his Medal of Honor confiscated. Airport security regarded the pin on the metal as a weapon that the 86-year old Marine general and former governor of South Dakota could use to hijack an airliner and commit a terrorist deed.

In America today, every citizen is a potential terrorist in the eyes of the authorities. Airport security makes this clear every minute of every day, as do the FBI and NSA with warrantless spying on our emails, postal mail, telephone calls, and every possible invasion of our privacy. We are all recipients of abuse of our constitutional rights whether or not we suffer beatings, Taserings, and false arrests.

The law makes it impossible for Americans to defend themselves from police brutality. Law and order conservatives have made it a felony with a long prison sentence to "assault a police officer." Assaulting a police officer means that if a police thug intends to beat your brains out with his nightstick and you disarm your assailant, you have "assaulted a police officer." If you are not shot on the spot by his backup, you will be convicted by a "law and order" jury and sent to prison.

No matter how gratuitous and violent the police brutality, a "free" American citizen can defend himself only at the expense, if not of his life, of a long stay in prison. Osama bin Laden must wish that he had such power over Americans.
