Ghosts of Benghazi

Hillary:  “What Difference Does It Make?”

When Questioned About the Events Leading Up to the Death of Our Ambassador and 3-Other Brave Heroes in Benghazi Under Her Watch

By Marion Algier – Ask Marion

If you believe everything you read, Hillary Clinton is already President of the United States-in-waiting and New Jersey Governor Chris Christie ‘was’ the GOP’s predestined 2016 nominee. Does this sound like 2012 or 2008 all over again?

But what is true is that the jockeying for the 2016 Election is in full swing. The Democrat strategy is to intimidate and sideline, by any means, any Democrat opposition to Hillary Clinton for the primaries while attacking and obliterating any Republicans that they feel could give her a strong challenge in the general election; Chris Christie is only the beginning and Sarah Palin, probably the one they fear the most has been on their radar screen since she gave her 2008 Vice Presidential nomination acceptance speech. The folks, as O’Reilly likes to call average everyday American, of which Palin is one, loved her immediately and she inspired women on both sides of the aisle, including political convert and lifetime Democrat, the Los Angeles President of the National Organization for Women (NOW) who introduced Palin for her first Rally in Cali in Carson City where a crowd of 23,000 gathered, that I was privileged to attend, with a last minute announcement… so the Progressive  left immediately feared and hated her. You can bet that Hillary does not draw that kind of a crowd for her speeches!

Video: C-SPAN: Vice Presidential Candidate Gov. Sarah Palin (AK) Full Speech at the RNC (45:45 Mins)

The left knew how much of a threat Sarah Palin was, and is, and colluded to demonize her using their progressive minions in the mainstream media with instructions to use any and every dirty trick in their bag of Alinsky tricks… already knowing that they would be running Hillary Clinton in 2016 and that Sarah Palin another tough woman but younger, prettier, principled and by then tested by the fire created by them, who had real accomplishments both personal and professional would be the Republican’s best shot to beat her… that is if common sense could get past the GOP party establishment that strangled the party in 2008 and 2012. The Progressives organized a group of jour’no’lists including CFR operative Katie Couric to go after Palin and a created what is commonly know as Palin Derangement Syndromewhich still continues.

Video: "The Undefeated" Sarah Palin Movie Trailer (1:46 Mins)

So the question is… can the Republicans get past their own establishment that strangled their party in 2008 and 2012, which includes their chairman Reince Priebus? The Vichy Republicans or old GOP guard are desperately trying to hold onto their own power instead of listening to their base and the grassroots swell of Americans that Sarah Palin and those she helped get into office in 2010 and 2014 represent, those like Ted Cruz, a great VP choice, who call her the Kingmaker. RNC Chairman Priebus Did Say that a Hillary’s 2016 Candidacy is Set… And Electing a Female Presidency Will be the Carrot…, but somehow he doesn’t seem to be able to make the needed and obvious connection that Palin is the GOP’s strongest shot in 2016. In a recent Poll: Sarah Palin Again Had the Highest Favorability Rating Among GOP Primary Voters and the President of the Heritage Foundation and Former U.S. Senator Jim DeMint recently stated that there is no better endorsement a Conservative, Republican, Independent or Libertarian can get than one from Sarah Palin and CNN reported that Palin’s influence is far from diminishing.  That is not necessarily the case for an endorsement by Hillary for Democrats, let alone for an Independent.

The Republicans are moving their 2016 Convention back to June or July from late August to give their candidate access to campaign funds and the RNC staff earlier.  They are also cutting back on the number of primary debates after they helped slaughter themselves in 2012 with their former schedule and by trying to marginalize people like Sarah Palin and that ever-growing wing of the Party and of the population in general. Just today Rush Limbaugh put forth the theory that republicans want to win the 2014 Election narrowly (if at all), without the Tea Party.  Why you wonder?  The why is because the powers that be and the establishment politicians want to keep the system in place, which puts money in their pockets.  That is how they keep everyone inline, or at least did until the rise of the Tea Party (Taxed Enough Already). It is a system that the Clintons are part of, but a system that Sarah Palin would expose and stop, as she did with the Corrupt Bastard’s Club in Alaska.

Every American should educate themselves about Hillary Clinton and Sarah Palin, because what you think you know, if it is through the mainstream media, is probably wrong about both of them!  It is time for all Americans to clear their mind of any previous pre-conceptions about these two women and start anew in their education process.

2016 should be the battle between these two women… Sarah Palin vs. Hillary Clinton:

Mark Levin, former sisties radical turned conservative and Soros disciple David Horowitz, and many others have said that Hillary is Obama in a dress.

VIDEO: HILLARY CLINTON EXPOSED - THE MOVIE SHE BANNED FROM THEATERS  -  (90-Mins)

In a recent interview, Former Clinton WH Counsel Lanny Davis Struggled to List Hillary’s Achievements at the State Dept and former Clinton advisor Dick Morris has little good to say about his experience with the Former First Lady.

Sadly when asked, most people who claim they dislike Sarah Palin know little about her and what they know is usually negative and generally untrue; for Hillary it is generally the opposite, they often don’t know why they like her either, but it is what they don’t know or think about Hillary or what they think are her positives that are the issue.  So, directly below are some basic facts about Sarah Palin and there is a a lot of info in this article, especially the links to give everyone a good start on researching these two women and possible 2016 presidential candidates:

Us For Palin

I just finished Sarah Takes on Big Oil, by Kay Cashman and Kristen Nelson. One of the major things I liked about the book, is that outsiders without an agenda wrote it. They were unbiased and just wrote the facts. I recommend that you all read this book.

As you read Sarah Takes on Big Oil, you will see what we have all been writing about and why we stand with former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin. Tom Irwin, Commissioner of the Department of Natural Resources who is quoted in the book said it best. “She is a real leader, our governor is grounded in a fundamental of honesty, integrity, her faith and understanding of the Constitution. I’ve never seen her once, ever, come close to the bright line of wanting to violate those.”

As you read through Sarah Takes on Big Oil you’ll see other comments by Irwin, that let you know Gov. Palin has not changed as she fights to bring the Republican party back to where it stood when Reagan was President. “I am a conservative Republican. I sometimes wonder where my party has gone, but my governor, Sarah Palin, is bringing it back,” Irwin said.

You will read about how Gov. Palin worked with people on both sides of the aisle. She did not care whether you had a D or an R after your name. Gov. Palin’s job and mindset was to get and do the best for the people of Alaska. After the debating and passing the Alaska Gasline Inducement Act (AGIA), Rep. Beth Kerttula, D-Juneau, the House minority leader, thanked Gov. Palin for her leadership, for “all of your hard work and your willingness to listen to us and to keep your door open right up until late last night. I really appreciate it as do the members of my caucus.”

The book is written like a case study, with all the needed information so that you will understand what Gov. Palin accomplished, how she worked as part of the team, but as Irwin said, “she was a leader, she allowed us to feel we worked; but make no doubt about it, she understood it and she was the decision maker.”

As I read Sarah Takes on Big Oil, I thought, that is what we all see and feel about the lady from the North. We see her integrity, we see her honesty, we know her faith. This is a lady who would have made an outstanding Vice President – oh, and a great president at which we still have a chance!

Hillary 2016 Melting Away

New Poll: Voters blame Clinton and Obama for Benghazi…  and we now know that Clinton could have prevented the attack but failed to do so

And for those not familiar with the Benghazi scandal and Hillary’s involvement checkout: Bombshell: Pentagon ‘didn’t know’ Benghazi annex existed, which includes a timeline of links to related articles from day one.

And let us not forget Jerry Zeifman, a longtime Democrat, former general counsel and chief of staff of the House Judiciary Committee’s response to why he fired Hillary Clinton from the Watergate Investigation: “Because she was liar!”, he said.  “She was an unethical, dishonest lawyer.  She conspired to violate the Constitution, the rules of the House, the rules of the Committee and the rules of confidentiality!”  Progressivism at its best!

Video: YouTube Debate: “Hillary Are You a Liberal"?… “I prefer the word Progressive…I Consider myself a modern Progressive”

So again beside trying to obliterate every opponent by using whatever means necessary (legal, questionable, and illegal) and Protecting Hillary… at every turn to pave the way for an easy Hillary win in both the primaries and the general election, the Democrats intend to make the focus of the 2016 election about their fabricated ‘war on women’ (by the Republicans) and electing the first U.S. female president. So logic would dictate that the Republicans fight back with on an equal playing field with a worthy opponent… the strongest battle proven women in the Republican Party… Sarah Palin. So where is the the breakdown in the party’s ability to make that connection if they really want to win? Like the Democrats, the GOP was well as freedom loving Independents, Libertarians, Conservatives and unaffiliated voters who see the need for real change should be supporting and protecting Sarah Palin as the Democrats are doing for Hillary.  Instead they are helping to continue to undermine her, the Republican Party and America… For those who either don’t or choose not to remember McCain-Palin were ahead in the polls after Palin joined the ticket, Greta Van Susteren pulled out the old polls. Get-Involved my friends and educate yourself… and then get out there, stand-up and share!!

The Council Has Spoken!! This Week’s Watcher’s Council Results – 04.26.13

http://farm7.staticflickr.com/6135/5960901747_8fa7618229_z.jpg

JoshuaPundit on Apr 26 2013 at 2:41 am:

The Council has spoken, the votes have been cast, and we have the results for this week’s Watcher’s Council match up!!

This week’s winner, The Right Planet’s Rush for Judgement: The All-Star ‘’Calumnists’’ of the MSM is a sharp, well written examination of how Alinsky’s principles permeate the media in a real life version of Orwell’s Two Minute Hate…and coins a new word in the process! Here’s a slice:

Following the 2011 Tuscon shooting, I predicted the left-wing media would jump on the opportunity to use the horrific crime as an opportunity to further their political goals. I just have seen this behavior from radical leftists for too long now. It is completely predictable. Oh, and they didn’t let me down, either. Not only did they “not let me down,” it was way beyond even what I thought possible, in terms of vicious audacity and outright buffoonery.

If you might recall, Sarah Palin and the Tea Party were blamed for the 2011 shooting in Tuscon, which resulted in six deaths and one wounded, as well as former Rep. Gabrielle Giffords (AZ-D) being critically injured. At the time, the preposterous notion was fomented by the progressive media that target reticule symbols printed on Palin’s campaign literature somehow influenced the shooter, Jared Loughner, to commit a heinous multiple murder.

Just so we’re all on the same page, here’s a prime example of some of the (usual) ridiculous linkages and rhetoric by the left that was being bantered about by the deranged left in their all-out effort to smear Sarah Palin and the Tea Party.

Via freakedoutxenophobes.com:

After the tragic fatal shooting of six people yesterday, half-governor Sarah Palin’s supporters are scrambling more than Michael Vick trying to escape Justin Tuck’s clutches in order to make an excuse for Palin’s pathetic use of crosshairs in an ad for the 2010 midterm elections which targeted 20 Democratic Representatives who voted for the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act.

Fast forward to the Aurora movie theater mass shooting. The media was quick to “rush to judgment” and blame, once again, the Tea Party.

Politico reported:

ABC’s Brian Ross reported this morning that there is “a Jim Holmes of Aurora, Colorado, page on the Colorado Tea party site… talking about him joining the Tea Party last year.”

Ross later apologized for his rash conclusions. But it was too little too late.

Of course, we can’t forget the unimaginable horror of the Sandy Hook Elementary massacre which saw scores of children shot dead by madman Adam Lanza. Yet, like clockwork, the mainstream-media went into hyper-drive and blamed the NRA and the nation’s legal gun-owners for the appalling atrocity. It’s just utter nonsense, yet this is what passes for journalism from our state-run press these days—ruthless left-wing agitprop and unadulterated leftist political advocacy.

Is there ever any respect or period of observable mourning for the dead and the victims of these awful crimes by the mainstream-media? If there is any mention of the victims by the MSM, it is only an effort to further a political cause via emotional appeal—like so-called “gun control,” for example—otherwise tributes and memorials to the victims are cast aside as “not viable” for promoting the cause—which is the only the liberal media cares about … nothing can supersede the struggle.

Now consider what just happened in Boston. Instantly the vile spinsters of leftist agitprop (i.e. MSM) went immediately to work to try and link, once again, the bombing of innocent Americans at Monday’s Boston Marathon to “right-wing” groups. MSNBC’s resident socialist Larry O’Donnell even went so far as to blame the NRA for helping the Boston bombers get away.

Oh, it doesn’t end there. I’m just getting started. So buckle up. As a matter of fact, while researching this post, I found so many glaring examples of frothing progressive liberals in the media and the state-run press eager to “rush to judgment” and blame “white people” and so-called “right-wing groups” for the bombings in Boston that I can’t include it all here. It would takes days, weeks, months … maybe even years.

In our non-Council category, the winner was Michael Totten’s The Beginning of the End for Hezbollah submitted by Joshuapundit. It’s yet another of Totten’s fine pieces on Lebanon, and in it he explores the changing dynamic enveloping the terrorist group Hezbollah.Do read it.

OK, here are this week’s full results:

Amazing that the Washington Post would actually print this about Obama…

Originally Published: - January 8, 2012  by Matt Patterson - Washington Post -  h/t to Gary Patterson

The Washington Post

Obama: The Affirmative Action President by Matt Patterson (columnist - Washington Post, New York Post, San Francisco Examiner)

Years from now, historians may regard the 2008 election of Barack Obama as an inscrutable and disturbing phenomenon, a baffling breed of mass hysteria akin perhaps to the witch craze of the Middle Ages. How, they will wonder, did a man so devoid of professional accomplishment beguile so many into thinking he could manage the world's largest economy, direct the world's most powerful military, execute the world's most consequential job?

Imagine a future historian examining Obama's pre-presidential life: ushered into and through the Ivy League despite unremarkable grades and test scores along the way; a cushy non-job as a "community organizer"; a brief career as a state legislator devoid of legislative achievement (and in fact nearly devoid of his attention, so often did he vote "present") ; and finally an unaccomplished single term in the United States Senate, the entirety of which was devoted to his presidential ambitions. He left no academic legacy in academia, authored no signature legislation as a legislator.

And then there is the matter of his troubling associations: the white-hating, America-loathing preacher who for decades served as Obama's "spiritual mentor"; a real-life, actual terrorist who served as Obama's colleague and political sponsor. It is easy to imagine a future historian looking at it all and asking: how on Earth was such a man elected president?

Not content to wait for history, the incomparable Norman Podhoretz addressed the question recently in the Wall Street Journal:

To be sure, no white candidate who had close associations with an outspoken hater of America like Jeremiah Wright and an unrepentant terrorist like Bill Ayers, would have lasted a single day. But because Mr. Obama was black, and therefore entitled in the eyes of liberaldom to have hung out with protesters against various American injustices, even if they were a bit extreme, he was given a pass.

Let that sink in: Obama was given a pass -- held to a lower standard -- because of the color of his skin. Podhoretz continues:

And in any case, what did such ancient history matter when he was also so articulate and elegant and (as he himself had said) "non-threatening," all of which gave him a fighting chance to become the first black president and thereby to lay the curse of racism to rest?

Podhoretz puts his finger, I think, on the animating pulse of the Obama phenomenon -- affirmative action. Not in the legal sense, of course. But certainly in the motivating sentiment behind all affirmative action laws and regulations, which are designed primarily to make white people, and especially white liberals, feel good about themselves.

Unfortunately, minorities often suffer so that whites can pat themselves on the back. Liberals routinely admit minorities to schools for which they are not qualified, yet take no responsibility for the inevitable poor performance and high drop-out rates which follow.

Liberals don't care if these minority students fail; liberals aren't around to witness the emotional devastation and deflated self esteem resulting from the racist policy that is affirmative action. Yes, racist.

Holding someone to a separate standard merely because of the color of his skin -- that's affirmative action in a nutshell, and if that isn't racism, then nothing is. And that is what America did to Obama.

True, Obama himself was never troubled by his lack of achievements, but why would he be? As many have noted, Obama was told he was good enough for Columbia despite undistinguished grades at Occidental; he was told he was good enough for the US Senate despite a mediocre record in Illinois; he was told he was good enough to be president despite no record at all in the Senate. All his life, every step of the way, Obama was told he was good enough for the next step, in spite of ample evidence to the contrary. What could this breed if not the sort of empty narcissism on display every time Obama speaks?

In 2008, many who agreed that he lacked executive qualifications nonetheless raved about Obama's oratory skills, intellect, and cool character. Those people -- conservatives included -- ought now to be deeply embarrassed. The man thinks and speaks in the hoariest of clichés, and that's when he has his teleprompter in front of him; when the prompter is absent he can barely think or speak at all. Not one original idea has ever issued from his mouth -- it's all warmed-over Marxism of the kind that has failed over and over again for 100 years.

And what about his character? Obama is constantly blaming anything and everything else for his troubles. Bush did it; it was bad luck; I inherited this mess. It is embarrassing to see a president so willing to advertise his own powerlessness, so comfortable with his own incompetence. But really, what were we to expect? The man has never been responsible for anything, so how do we expect him to act responsibly?

In short: our president is a small and small-minded man, with neither the temperament nor the intellect to handle his job. When you understand that, and only when you understand that, will the current erosion of liberty and prosperity make sense. It could not have gone otherwise with such a man in the Oval Office.

Gore tells Watergate reporter American people know nothing about Clinton White House

Bob Woodward: sitting next to Gore 'taxing' & 'unpleasant'

An interesting series of quotes came from Bob Woodward recently about Al Gore - calling the former Vice President 'taxing' and 'unpleasant' to sit next to after a recent event he shared with the VP. Even worse, Woodward admitted he asked Gore how much the public knows about what went on during the Clinton administration. The answer: 1%, a number Woodward says made him feel 'icky'. Even ickier - Woodward waited 6 years to make this information public. Glenn Beck reacts on radio today. WATCH

Video: Glenn Reacts to Woodward Comments On Gore…

Woodward is no stranger to corruption in the White House as he helped expose President Nixon’s crimes and abuse of power to the public.

The Hill reports:

In a speech at the Organization for International Investment’s annual dinner at D.C.’s Ritz-Carlton Hotel on Thursday, the famed Washington Post journalist, who helped uncover the Watergate scandal, disclosed that he doesn’t enjoy the former vice president as a tablemate.

Woodward offered up another tidbit from the conversation with his dinner companion. The investigative reporter asked the politician, more than five years after leaving office, how much the public knows about what went on during the Clinton administration. Gore replied, “One percent.”

Woodward admitted that revelation made him feel a bit icky, saying, “I kind of died inside and have to confess to having an unclean thought.”

California: A Constitution Free Zone

Take a good hard look folks… if Obama is re-elected the California Nanny State will be the mirror America will be looking into… if things go well.  Greece and expansion of Sharia and International Law over the Constitution implemented through the United Nations is the other option!

Nanny-State Insanity

UPI - California Governor Jerry Brown signed two laws protecting the "privacy" of children and vetoed one protecting the privacy of adults.

More Nanny State Insanity…

Look up insanity in the dictionary and a photo of California and that State’s Governor, Jerry Brown, are probably next to the word. If not, they should be, for there is no other explanation for two recently passed laws in that State.

The youngest legal age for using a tanning bed has been raised from 14 to 18, and children 12 years or older can obtain a vaccination “treatment” for sexually transmitted diseases without parental consent. This is nanny-state insanity.

And while Brown preens over protecting the “privacy” of children, he vetoed away the right of privacy for adults who are arrested by police. He struck down legislation that would have required law enforcement to obtain a warrant before searching the cellphones of arrestees.

ILLEGAL ALIEN TRI-FECTA IN CALIFORNIA!

Gov. Brown just signed a bill to ban cities and counties from mandating E-Verify for their contractors and businesses.  Despite the Supreme Court ruling in August that state and local governments can mandate E-Verify to prevent taxpayer dollars from going to illegal aliens, this rogue, corrupt governor signed AB 1236 anyway.  He is officially working with organized crime to destroy the rule of law in California.

Time for a Congressional Investigation to determine just who Jerry Brown is working for.   Obviously with the 3 illegal alien bills he signed this weekend, he is beholden to foreign (Mexico) special interests.

Dozens of cities and counties in CA have been using E-Verify with no problems, except that illegal aliens are no longer being hired.  Gov. Brown decided to side with the criminals again.

A Constitution Free ZoneTea Party Nation

If you ever wonder why the framers of the Constitution and our founding fathers thought the Bill of Rights was so important to the Constitution, you need to look no further than the liberal politicians in the State of California.

California’s left wing government thinks there is a constitutional right for homosexuals to marry but you cannot have a gun in California.  In California, the authorities try to restrict speech based on the fact that they do not like it.

I have read the Constitution.  No matter where you fall on the issue of gay marriage, something can be said with absolute certainty.   The Constitution protects free speech.  The Constitution protects the right to keep and bear arms.  The Constitution is absolutely silent on the issue of gay marriage, not to mention marriage at all.

Another nail has been driven into the coffin containing Constitutional rights in California.  California has just enacted a law that bans the open carrying of unloaded handguns and registration of long guns.

California has banned the open carry of loaded handguns, except in a few exceptions and California has made it very difficult to obtain a concealed carry permit.  In fact, one of the requirements to get a concealed carry permit in California is that you must be a brain dead celebrity who rants about the horrifying fact that some people actually own guns.

Our founding fathers knew a couple of things.  First, an armed populace is a great deterrent against tyranny, invasion and bad behavior.

Leftists scream about how dangerous guns are.  They scream that if we allow mere citizens to carry guns, there will be bloodbaths.  If we let mere citizens carry weapons, there will be shootouts in the streets.

However, as with all liberal hysteria, those tirades are long on silly emotional screaming and very short on facts.  A majority of states allow either open carry or as I like to call it, “Constitutional carry” or concealed carry.

Not only are the bodies not piling up in these states, these are also the states that have the lowest crime rates.  Criminals may be lazy but are not totally stupid.  They look for the easiest target and certainly do not want to mix it up with someone who is carrying a gun and probably knows how to use it.

While the left screams about the myth of how dangerous guns are, they are amazingly silent on something else.   Almost every week, we hear stories about people who legally own and carry firearms.  Not only are they not committing crimes, they are stopping crimes.

Interestingly enough in Chicago and DC, after handgun bans were struck down, crime dropped!

Compare that to what happened in Britain, Ireland and Australia.  When they banned guns, their crime rates went through the roof.

As California works to further ban guns, look for crime to continue to rise in the land of fruits and nuts.  Hopefully, the Supreme Court will eventually reverse that decision and impose some sanity on California.

In the meanwhile, Jerry Brown and company are proving the truth of the statement that our country was designed by geniuses and run by morons.

California is guilty of breeching the Constitution.

California Bans Open Carry of Handguns  -  Mexican Mafia celebrates!!

He also signed two other anti-gun bills including regulating long gun sales (AB 800).  He also signed SB 819.

He vetoed one gun bill only because the issue is already tied up in the courts.

Video: California at its Best (or Worst):  Cheech and Chong’s Magic Brownie Adventure

I guess Gloria Allred is proud. She was perhaps a singular figure in Brow’s win. We can’t call it a victory, as that implies it was desirable. His actions to remove citizens rights is incomprehensible, yet he showed his concern for all by upping the age for mirrored tanning. That tanning was such a social problem! Gloria, you can’t be so stupid as to believe this is what California needs as governor. Then again, attorney’s seldom care about things that affect others, unless it enriches them personally.

I am amazed at how everyone blames Jerry Brown for the state of affairs in California…. It is not “jerry’s fault) it is the FAULT of the Left Media and the air heads of California (whose brains have been baked by the sun) that are at fault…. They hate to raise taxes but love freebies… they hate the unemployment but support illegals in their state ( that also begs for Federal Bail out… that is OUR tax money going to support those that are too lazy and stupid to take care of their own problems) The State of California is a cancer to the rest of the nation….. Maybe a frontal labotomy would really clear their heads….

NFL Owners Who Use The N-Word And Wet Their Pants On Stage But the NFL Was Worried Rush Was Beneath Their Standards?

And now a word from an NFL owner:

“And the game done chose me to bring pain to niggas and pussy holes, they one in the same.” - I’m Real, co-written by Jennifer Lopez, minority owner of the Miami Dolphins.

Amidst the uproar over Rush Limbaugh having to step aside from his participation in the bid to purchase the NFL’s St. Louis Rams over racially insensitive statements he never actually made, is the fact that current ACTUAL owners of an NFL team have said much worse than the false and the left says nothing.

400x248-music-fergie-lyrics-06
Fergie: NFL Owner

Jennifer Lopez, whose Sondheim-like lyric genius is on display at the top of this post, holds the same status with the Miami Dolphins as Limbaugh would have with the Rams. And, not only does she have co-writer credit on this offensive drivel, she also recorded and performed it live. She continues to earn money in royalties for her genius use of the “N-Word.” My guess is that those who took issue with Limbaugh’s imaginary racial slur are OK with J-Lo’s actual racial slur because she looks a lot better in tight pants.

Meanwhile, another minority owner of the Dolphins has some controversial issues with public statements as well. Recently, Dolphins minority owner Serena Williams broke quite a few FCC laws by letting loose an “F-word” filled tirade on live television during the US Open. Then she menacingly threatened a side judge and was subsequently disqualified. This kind of behavior and speech seems to be right in line with the NFL’s standards since I missed the press conference from Commissioner Roger Goodell condemning it.

Finally, we get to Fergie, some-time member of the Black Eyed Peas and some-time solo artist. You betcha, she has also been approved as a minority owner of the Miami Dolphins. Fergie is a huge Obama supporter, so I guess the NFL thought it was pretty cool that she just performed her song “Glamorous” at the White House Easter egg hunt… an event for children. Here’s how the DC Examiner reported the event:

Lines like “wear them gold and diamond rings” and “I’m not clean, I’m not pristine” may not be the dream lyrics for their daughters to emulate, but the song’s repetition of the line “If you ain’t got no money take your broke a** home” made a few parents cringe. She did of course edit the curse word from the song Monday — but some of crowd members helpfully filled it in for her.

It gets better. Earlier this week, Goodell said of Limbaugh’s potential ownership, “Divisive comments are not what the NFL is all about.” Is he splitting hairs between “comments” and “lyrics?” Because these lyrics from a 2003 Black Eyed Peas song sounds pretty divisive to me:

Overseas, yeah, we try to stop terrorism
But we still got terrorists here livin’
In the USA, the big CIA …

A war is goin’ on but the reason’s undercover
The truth is kept secret, it’s swept under the rug

Nothing like accusing the CIA of terrorism and our government of lying to bring people together. Goodell also said, “We’re all held to a high standard here.”

Really? Does this meet his high standard?

Whatcha gonna do with all that junk
All that junk inside your trunk
I’ma get get get get you drunk
Get you love drunk off my hump
My hump my hump my hump my hump my hump
My hump my hump my hump my lovely little lumps

How about drinking so much that you wet your pants, mid-song, on stage, in front of a live audience?

This week the NFL did more to silence conservative political perspectives on the radio then liberals and their “Fairness Doctrine” could ever dream of doing. By bowing to shrill political pressure they forced a group of potential buyers of the St. Louis Rams, headed by Dave Checkett, to drop Rush Limbaugh from the ownership team. Forget for a moment that the heinous statements attributed to Limbaugh were never sourced or substantiated and completely false. Also forget that Limbaugh, as a minority owner, would have no actual control or real influence over personnel or management decisions with the team. None of that matters.

The left hates Limbaugh. He had to be stopped.

But Rush will be just fine. They can’t shut him up; he’s too big. And even if they do pass the “Fairness Doctrine,” he will move to satellite radio and finally give Mel Karmazin a healthy balance sheet.

No, the real danger in all of this is the chilling effect it has on the rest of the conservative world. Those of us articulating our points of view and trying to persuade others. Just like Rush has done for over two decades. And now, the seed has been planted. Someday, we might want to own a football team. Hell, we’re capitalists! Will something we say or write now be twisted around or even made up to smear us and keep us from fulfilling our dream?

Yes, the seed has been planted. They’ve done what the intended to do. It wasn’t about stopping Rush… it was done to stop all of us. And they will lie if they have to, to get what they want.

Change? Yes. Hope? Not so much~

by Stage Right

Why is it that left never gets that these types of issues have nothing to do with the person involved... They have to do with freedom and rights in a free society... which we no longer have.

Fergie has a potty mouth. There is a rapper who is a partial owner whose music is filled with profanity and promotes violence. I think Spike Lee is a partial owner and his stuff is as incendiary toward white people as Rush's remarks. There are guys playing for the NFL who beat their wives and girlfriends, have murdered people, and tortured dogs. And the NFL has a policy whereby no matter how henius your crime, nobody can touch your pension, so they are still paying O.J., and neither the Browns or anyone else could garnish that money.

Let us please stop talking about the standards of the NFL.

I have not weighed in on this whole Rush thing... but the insanity of the unfairness and hate for conservatives just doesn't stop; even when the tired old whacked out liberal lefties like Sharpton have won.

The only good thing about Obamaland is that when they get through taking all our rights we (the people who get it) will get to see the lefties' faces when the 'powers that be' go after them... and they will. Ask anyone who is still around from the Weimar Republic! Sadly though those fleeting moments will be just that in a sea of despair.

And you are right cd, Rush will be fine. It is the average conservative and the Bill of Rights that lost in this battle. And in the end, all Americans lost another battle of freedom, and for capitalism!

And while we are at it... This NFL owners garbage is what our children and grandchildren grew up on. I heard a gal in her twenties on an econ discussion panel rambling on last night about "Why should young people have to pay for health care for a bunch of old (implying useless people); . And you got it... she was a liberal.~ …Ask Marion

'Capitalism Will Fail,' Marijuana Leaf Part of California School Mosaic

zombietime.com

Communism's hammer and sickle is seen in the "Class of 2007" mosaic outside of the Black Pine Circle School in Berkeley, Calif.

Symbols of communism and marijuana and a prediction that "capitalism will fail" aren't exactly the sort of end-of-year messages you'd expect from an eighth grader.

But that's precisely what some students at the Black Pine Circle School, a private school in Berkeley, Calif., chose to include in their "Class of 2007" mosaic.

The symbols, which are prominently displayed outside the school, have prompted questions about the appropriateness of images like a hammer and sickle and a marijuana leaf on school grounds — and have led critics to say they are blatant proof of political indoctrination of young children.

Black Pine Circle bills itself as a day school where students from kindergarten through eighth grade will be "maximally free of all the 'isms' which pervade most aspects of the world around them: from racism to sexism to the less obvious forms of discrimination," according to its Web site.

Capitalism, even if it fails, apparently isn't one of those: Tuition for a 10-month term costs more than $17,000.

Laura Wolff, assistant director and head of BPCS's Lower School, told FOXNews.com that each graduating student makes a tile to commemorate his or her time there, sometimes teaming up with other students to make a "dual tile." She said school officials do not edit or otherwise influence the end products.

"Being Berkeley, of course, we don't censor their creative expression," Wolff said. "It's fun to see what they come up with."

During a brief interview, Wolff said she was not familiar with the images in question — including the four-tile hammer and sickle depiction — and referred inquiries to John Carlstroem, director of the school, and art teachers Kieren Dutcher and Kim Buckingham. Multiple messages seeking additional comment were not returned.

Ron Reynolds, executive director of the California Association of Private School Organizations, said the images were in "bad taste," but stopped short of calling for their removal.

"I am certainly not enamored by that particular expression and I certainly disagree, but I don't think there's a law against someone expressing a stupid thought," Reynolds told FOXNews.com. "If they felt capitalism will fail, I'd be curious to see what their alternative is."

The mosaic's location on the perimeter of the school serves as an "advertisement for discriminating parents," according to Reynolds, who said he thought the images were conjured up solely by the students.

"Living in Berkeley, I don't think it's a tremendous stretch," he said. "If it were in Irvine or Van Nuys, yeah, I think there would be some raised eyebrows."

Alice Davis, 21, attended Black Pine Circle School from 1998 to 2001 and remembers painting her own tile — a "cityscape scene at nighttime." Davis, now living in Brooklyn, N.Y., said she doesn't recall receiving any instruction regarding the content of her creation.

"They left it up to a bunch of 13-year-olds to decide," Davis told FOXNews.com. "They were hands off in telling us what was appropriate and what wasn't. It was left to our judgment."

Meanwhile, Danae Condos, president of the Berkeley College Republicans, said she found the images "shocking" and not suitable for young children.

"I know some people might say it fits in with the Berkeley atmosphere, but it does say something about the type of education the students are receiving," she told FOXNews.com. "It's obvious that they're receiving some political indoctrination from the school or from their parents. There's no doubt in my mind they're being politically influenced in their education."

Condos, a 19-year-old student at the University of California-Berkeley, said she doubted that school administrators would allow any and all symbols.

"They wouldn't allow a swastika symbol," she said. "It shows where the school's standards lie. If you're seeing this at one of the top-notch schools in the area, imagine what's going on it other schools that don't have the same privileges."

Reaganomics vs. Obamanomics

Ann CoulterYou know what really irritates me about liberals? (Besides the fact that they're spineless little girls in pretty dresses who can't play rough because it musses up their hair...)

They always think liberalism fixes the problem -- even when it was liberalism that caused the problem in the first place!

Case in point, the Financial Meltdown of 2008 (and counting). To hear liberals tell it, it all goes back to Ronald Reagan -- who with his seductive "B-actor" charm fooled America into thinking that by slashing taxes, regulation, and government spending we could unleash free enterprise and create a new wave of prosperity.

Sure, liberals concede, that seemed to work for, oh, the better part of three decades, but now we're paying the price for all that "greed." The solution? A return to the pre-Reagan policies of Jimmy Carter, LBJ, FDR... Speaking of which, what will victory look like in the "War on Poverty"? When are they going to produce an "exit strategy" from that quagmire?

Unfortunately, the facts -- as always when you're talking about liberal theories -- tell a different story. A story in which all the major villains, it turns out, have one thing in common: government.

That's right. From the "Community Reinvestment Act" that pressured banks into affirmative-action lending, to those "government-sponsored enterprises" Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac -- who bought up all the resulting subprime loans and repackaged them as "investment grade" securities -- the greasy thumb-prints of government were all over this fiasco from beginning to end.

But those, as I say, are facts. And facts have no place in the fantasy world of Democratic policy-makers. Nor does history -- true history, that is, as opposed to the public-school propaganda that teaches, for instance, that FDR's New Deal got us out of the Great Depression, when in reality it only deepened and prolonged it.

But the question remains: What can those of us in the fast-dwindling, Reality-Based Community do to survive financially as the Obamacrats prepare a "New New Deal" that threatens to outspend the original by about ten thousand to one?

Personally, I don't have a clue. But thank goodness I know of someone who does.

His name is Mark Skousen, Ph.D., editor of the investment newsletter Forecasts & Strategies -- and he just might be the smartest financial advisor working today.

Don't let that "Ph.D." fool you -- this is no pointy-headed leftist like Obama's economic team who seem to think that all the economy needs in order to flourish are more liberals running the economy.

Skousen, after all, launched his career by predicting during the 1980-82 recession -- and to the scornful laughter of nearly all the other so-called experts -- that "Reaganomics will work."

Boy, did he get that right. And boy, has he gotten it right ever since:

  • Like when he issued a "sell everything" recommendation to his Forecasts & Strategies subscribers just 41 days before the stock market crash of 1987 -- then told them to get fully invested again several weeks later, just in time for the recovery.
  • And when he called the Gulf War of 1990 "a turning point for U.S. stocks" -- and the Dow subsequently began a bull market that didn't end for nearly 10 years.
  • And when he told his subscribers in 1995 that the NASDAQ would double, and then double again -- which is exactly what it did.
  • And when, just weeks before the NASDAQ collapsed in 2000, he warned his subscribers that tech stocks were dangerously overvalued.
  • And when, in 2006 -- more than two years before the financial meltdown -- he warned subscribers that "we clearly are headed for fiscal disaster," and showed them how to protect themselves.

What's Skousen's secret? I think it begins with understanding the real laws of economics -- not the warmed-over Marxism that passes for "new thinking" to Obama's media groupies.

And here's the best thing about Mark Skousen. He knows how to make you money no matter how bad things get in the financial markets and the economy overall.

After all, he points out, the late billionaire John Templeton -- whom Money magazine called "the greatest stock-picker of the 20th century" -- began to build his vast fortune in the depths of the Great Depression.

Maybe you're not looking to be a billionaire. Maybe you're just looking to keep your head above water while the Obamacrats do their best to sink the economy. Either way, Mark Skousen can help -- and I urge you to give his Forecasts & Strategies a try.

The cost? Less than the tip on a John Edwards haircut -- in today's dollars, that is. After Obama gets done driving down the value of the dollar it wouldn't be enough to buy Governor Rod Blogojevich a haircut.

Chrysler's 'hit list' targets GOP donors

OBAMANOMICS
Chrysler's 'hit list' targets GOP donors:  Dealers who give to Republicans much more likely to be shuttered

Does this both scare and make anyone else’s skin crawl??

Chrysler

As part of its Chapter 11 bankruptcy, Chrysler is terminating one-fourth of its franchises – but some say its catalog of doomed dealerships looks more like a hit list that specifically seeks to put Republican donors out of business.

Chrysler will now be eligible for up to $8 billion in taxpayer-funded federal aid. The federal government has already provided $8.58 billion to Chrysler and Chrysler Holding between the months of January and May of this year. The Treasury also loaned $1.5 billion to the automaker's lending arm in January.

President Obama has said the bankruptcy will give the company "a new lease on life," after his administration spearheaded a plan requiring the company sell to Italian automaker Fiat. Chrysler's stronger operations will be owned by Fiat, labor and the U.S. and Canadian governments. The sale could close as early as this Friday.

Obama said the bankruptcy would be a "quick" and "efficient" step toward Chrysler's "survival."

"The necessary steps have been taken to give one of America's most storied automakers, Chrysler, a new lease on life," Obama said. "This is not a sign of weakness."

But WND reviewed the list of 789 closing franchises and databases of political donors and found that of dealership majority owners making contributions in the November 2008 election, less than 10 percent gifted to Democrats while 90 percent gave substantial sums to Republican candidates.

The listed franchise owners contributed at least $450,000 to Republican presidential candidates and the GOP, while only $7,970 was donated to Sen. Hillary Clinton's campaign and $2,200 was given to Sen. John Edwards' campaign.

Obama received a combined total of only $450 in donations – $250 from dealer Jane Baldock in Wenatchee, Wash., and $200 from Waco, Texas, dealer Jeffrey Hunter.

Why does Obama think he's "the One"? Find out by reading the special Whistleblower issue: "Narcissist in chief"!

Many of the majority owners who donated to Republican campaigns last year also contributed additional thousands to George W. Bush's presidential campaign in 2004 and to help elect GOP representatives.

Find out which GOP donors are getting Chrysler's ax. A list is available here.

Rep. Vernon Buchanan, R-Fla.

The first dealership on Chrysler's list of facilities marked for termination by June 9 is located in Venice, Fla., and belongs to Republican Rep. Vernon G. Buchanan.

Buchanan gave $2,300 to John McCain in 2008 and has contributed nearly $150,000 to GOP candidates and organizations since 2007. He discovered that his location was scheduled for closure when he crossed paths with Rep. Candice Miller, R-Mich.

According to the Associated Press, Miller told Buchanan, "I heard you're going to lose your Dodge franchise."

"Oh, really?" Buchanan said in a state of surprise.

The dealership's operating partner, Shelby Curtsinger, said he was astonished by Chrysler's decision because the location has been profitable – selling more than twice the stock of an average Chrysler dealership every year.

Houston dealer Robert Archer is one of 330 people contesting Chrysler's decision to close their locations. He donated $1,000 to National Republican Congressional Committee and $500 to Americans for a Republican Majority.

Archer told the New York Times he ordered 700 new vehicles and $1.7 million in new parts after Chrysler told him he could survive unless he stocked more cars. He sacrificed his profits to help the company survive.

Now he is set to lose his franchise.

Other GOP contributors include Michael Maroone, a dealer in Ft. Lauderdale, Fla. He gave $20,000 to the Florida Republican Party, $12,700 to the Republican National Committee and $2,300 to presidential candidate Mitt Romney. Likewise, Menomonee Falls, Wis., dealer Russ Darrow and his family gave $19,000 to the Republican National Committee, $6,029 to the Wisconsin Republican Party, $2,300 to John McCain and $1,000 to Rudy Giuliani. Bedford, Texas, dealer Eric Grubbs gifted $11,500 to Mike Huckabee, $4,600 to Rudy Giuliani, $6,500 to Texas Republican Congressional Committee, $1,085 to the RNC and $500 to National Republican Congressional Committee. Midlothian, Va., dealer Max Pearson donated $18,000 to National Republican Senatorial Committee, $6,900 to the RNC, $6,900 to John McCain, $3,600 to Virginia Republican Party and $1,000 to National Republican Congressional Committee.

The list continues with more than 60 political donors who are scheduled to lose their franchises – many of whom gave thousands of dollars to Republican candidates – and only seven dealers who contributed a total of less than $12,000 to the Democratic Party and its candidates.

Blogger Doug Ross reviewed patterns on the closure list and noticed the unmistakable trend.

"I took all dealer owners whose names appeared more than once on the list," he wrote. "And, of those who contributed to political campaigns, every single one had donated almost exclusively to GOP candidates."

With 2,392 Chrysler dealerships remaining, some bloggers claim to have already begun the exhaustive process of checking each majority owner to determine whether Chrysler has been more merciful toward those who donate to Democrats while simultaneously giving walking papers to Republican contributors.

Chrysler has not responded to WND's requests for comment. The company claims it evaluated the dealerships based on raw sales volume, location, market, history of experience and market share. According to the company's bankruptcy court filing, the 789 dealerships listed for closure "lack the operational, market, facility and linemaker characteristics necessary to best contribute to the ongoing dealer network under current or future ownership."

Dealer Jim Anderer told Fox News' Neil Cavuto he doesn't understand why Chrysler is shutting down his Long Island dealership because he claims his dealership is quite profitable – with sales volume ranking in the top 2 percent.

Asked why he believes the company targeted him, Anderer said, "They won't tell us. They seem to be running for cover right now because they won't give us a solid explanation. They come up with all these reasons, but none of them seem to make sense."

He continued, "This is insanity. The government is stealing my business. And they're telling me there's nothing I can do about it."

Anderer said Chrysler claims it wants to combine its stores or that dealers cost the manufacturer money to stay in business.

"In the dealers that they cut, there seems to be no cohesive way that they did it," he said. "There was no process that you could put your finger on and say, 'Hey, we cut 25 percent of the lowest performing dealers.' They didn't do that. Nobody will give us a real clear explanation of the formula that they came up with."

An anonymous employee affected by the dealership closings blogged at Cars.com:

Obama visits Chrysler plant in Michigan one year before bankruptcy (photo: Barack Obama campaign)

"This isn't about business. It's about politics and control. My dealership is in the top 125 out of the 3,500-plus dealerships nationwide ... yet we are on the list. We are not small nor are we rural. We are in a large major metropolitan area. Our new vehicle inventory alone is well over $4.0 million. Is that small?"

The employee continued, "This is so much more than 'just business.' This is about control and power by our present administration in Washington. An administration that will stop at nothing to bring complete socialism to this once great country. Wake up people or get in line now to 'drink the Kool-Aid.'"

Chrysler's bankruptcy court review process began May 14 and is scheduled to end by June 9. According to a May 14 Chrysler memo, dealers learned of their fate via UPS letters arriving earlier this month. A Senate committee is conducting hearings this week as dealers file their requests to block their termination.

George C. Joseph, owner of Sunshine Dodge-Isuzu in Melbourne Fla., has sent out his plea to several online media organizations, including WND.

Joseph said his family paid for his franchise 35 years ago and employs more than 50 people. The company is active in the community and the local chamber of commerce, and he claims it is financially profitable.

"On Thursday, May 14, 2009 I was notified that my Dodge franchise, that we purchased, will be taken away from my family on June 9, 2009 without compensation and given to another dealer at no cost to them," Joseph wrote. "My new vehicle inventory consists of 125 vehicles with a financed balance of 3 million dollars. This inventory becomes impossible to sell with no factory incentives beyond June 9, 2009."

He said that without the franchise his family can no longer sell Dodge inventory as "new" or conduct any service warranty work. Joseph wrote that his parts inventory – worth $300,000 – is now practically worthless because Chrysler will not be required to buy vehicles, tools or parts from terminated dealers under bankruptcy rules.

To make matters worse, Joseph said Chrysler recently required his facility to be renovated, requiring a multi-million dollar debt in the form of a mortgage.

"This is a private business, not a government entity," he wrote. "This is beyond imagination! My business is being stolen from me through no fault of our own. We did nothing wrong."

Joseph continued, "This atrocity will most likely force my family into bankruptcy. This will cause our 50+ employees to be unemployed. How will they provide for their families? … How in the United States of America can this happen?"
