The End of "Bill of Rights"
US Senate votes to end Bill of Rights, authorizes military to occupy U.S. cities and detain Americans
In a stunning move that has civil libertarians stuttering with disbelief, the U.S. Senate has passed a bill that effectively ends the Bill of Rights in America.
This bill, passed late last night in a 93-7 vote, declares the entire USA to be a "battleground" upon which U.S. military forces can operate with impunity, overriding Posse Comitatus and granting the military the unchecked power to arrest, detain, interrogate and even assassinate U.S. citizens with impunity.
It's being called the most traitorous act ever witnessed in the Senate, and the language of the bill is cleverly designed to make you think it doesn't apply to Americans, but toward the end of the bill it essentially says it can apply to Americans "if we want it to."
Even WIRED magazine was outraged at this bill, reporting:
...the detention mandate to use indefinite military detention in terrorism cases isn’t limited to foreigners. It’s confusing, because two different sections of the bill seem to contradict each other, but in the judgment of the University of Texas’ Robert Chesney — a nonpartisan authority on military detention — “U.S. citizens are included in the grant of detention authority.”

The passage of this law is nothing less than an outright declaration of WAR against the American People by the military-connected power elite. If this is signed into law, it will shred the remaining tenants of the Bill of Rights and unleash upon America a total military dictatorship, complete with secret arrests, secret prisons, unlawful interrogations, indefinite detainment without ever being charged with a crime, the torture of Americans and even the "legitimate assassination" of U.S. citizens right here on American soil!

Are you getting all this? Do you realize America is about to be overrun by our own military?
The rule of law is about to be utterly destroyed. No due process. No legal representation. Not even a right to know what you're being charged with when you are (indefinitely) detained.
This is an urgent time for action to protest the overreaching military police state in America. Immediately call your representatives in Washington and urge your House members to reject this bill in the reconciliation phase with the Senate. Call the office of the President and urge Obama to veto this bill if it is passed by both houses.

Do not be fooled by the trolls and disinfo agents who claim this bill does not apply to U.S. citizens -- a fact which has already been established without question. If this is signed into law, military humvees will roll down the streets in U.S. cities, with gunpoint checkpoints, illegal arrests, secret torture operations and the outright murder of U.S. citizens right in their own home towns.
In observing all this, you might ask WHY is this happening right now? Why would the U.S. Senate deliberately nullify the Bill of Rights and seek to authorize military action on the streets of U.S. cities?
The answer, my friends, will not comfort you: A global economic collapse is coming, and once started, it will likely unleash a wave of social unrest and rioting that could burn many U.S. cities to the ground. The U.S. Senate is probably trying to rush authorization of the military to operate in American cities before the economic collapse arrives, thereby placing troops deep within the roughest U.S. cities where they stand a chance at halting the runaway riots that are sure to materialize when peoples' life savings vanish as the banks collapse.

Two days ago, North Carolina Governor Beverly Perdue suggested that elections be suspended for Congress for two years! She is the highest elected official to suggest we simply scrap the constitution and replace liberty with the tyranny of the bureaucracy.
Perdue said:
I think we ought to suspend, perhaps, elections for Congress for two years and just tell them we won’t hold it against them, whatever decisions they make, to just let them help this country recover. I really hope that someone can agree with me on that.

Of course, Perdue and liberals would love to skip elections. Not only do they not like elections on general principles, but in 2012, they are really going to hate the elections because we the people are about to put a lot of those liberals into the unemployment line.
Perhaps Perdue should familiarize herself with the United States Constitution. Article One, Section Two of the Constitution states:
The House of Representatives shall be composed of Members chosen every second Year by the People of the several States, and the Electors in each State shall have the Qualifications requisite for Electors of the most numerous Branch of the State Legislature.
That’s right Beverly. The Constitution requires elections for the House of Representatives every other year.
When a governor is sworn into office in North Carolina, they take an oath of office that says they will uphold and defend the Constitution of the United States of America.
We know liberals do not like the Constitution. In fact, we know they consider the Constitution to simply be an impediment to be worked around.
As mentioned earlier on Tea Party Nation, Perdue is not the first liberal to try and suggest we abandon democracy and move towards the tyranny of liberalism.
We cannot allow this to stand. We must push back against this. It is one thing to simply express an idea. It is another thing to call for what amounts to not necessarily an overthrow of the government but an overthrow of the Constitution.
The Democrat Convention is going to be held in North Carolina next year. While it would be great to have Perdue as governor welcoming Obama, while we hang this on her, the simple truth is her comment is so far out of bounds that she must go.
Tea Party groups and other Patriot groups in North Carolina are taking action. On Saturday, October 1st, Tea Party groups are rallying in Raleigh North Carolina at the North Carolina’s Governor’s mansion. The rally will start at 11 AM and the address of the mansion is 200 N Blount Street, Raleigh, NC 27601.
The Patriots of North Carolina are going to tell Beverly Perdue that only dictators suspend elections. This is America. Real Americans love liberty. Real Americans support and defend the Constitution. Real Americans support the rights of the people to vote.

North Carolina Gov. Bev Perdue was not joking when she spoke about suspending elections. Nor did she pick the idea out of thin air. Perdue was giving the suspend-congressional-elections idea its first oxygen for her hell-bent-for-leather boss.
It is crucial to not let this day go down without remembering what Perdue said.
Don’t let the state-controlled mainstream media lure you back to sleep by saying if there is no election, then why is Obama so diligently campaigning.

Is The Obama Administration Throwing Us Into a Constitutional Crisis Over Health Care?
Are we we experiencing a quiet constitutional crisis?
It’s well known that Judge Roger Vinson ruled yesterday that the individual mandate exceeded the powers of the federal government under the Commerce Clause. But he also ruled that because the law lacked a severability clause and the law’s proponents had argued that the individual mandate was a necessary part of the scheme, the entire law was invalid.
Wesley J. Smith explains the implications:
That means that under the ruling, the law is void and cannot be implemented from this point forward. The Administration’s legal remedy is to seek a stay of the ruling pending appeal. It cannot just defy a federal court ruling. If it tries, the plaintiffs should go to court for the injunction and/or seek an order of contempt against the administration. Pretending that the ruling doesn’t change anything when it unequivocally does, would be both a petulant and extra-legal approach to governance.
So has the Obama administration halted the implementation of the law? The answer is: No.
The website of the White House is unambiguous about this: “Implementation will continue.”
Vinson’s decision did not include an injunction to stop the implementation of health care reform on the grounds that an injunction would be superfluous. He argued that the government would stop implementing the law automatically once it was announced as unconstitutional.
That, apparently, hasn’t happened.
So here’s a question: should government officials mindful of the constitution start defying the Obama administration to honor the decision by the court? If, say, you were charged with monitoring the computers that send out rebate checks to seniors with high prescription drug costs, should you turn off the computer?
Much of this is probably theoretical. Most of the law did not yet apply, so implementation was minimal. But if you were working on implementing the law, shouldn’t you be obligated to stop work?

How could he imagine that the Interstate Commerce clause could cover something that wasn’t interstate (health insurance cannot be sold over state lines) and wasn’t commerce (failure to buy insurance is not commerce) would stand up in court? He was so sure that he would win any constitutional challenge that he arrogantly failed to put a severability clause in the bill so that it would survive even if parts were stricken down. The decision of the Florida District Court may or may not prevail in the Circuit Court....
