A steady whiff of B.O. emanating from the White House

It is, as they say, a piece of work. A gem…

America has gotten a steady whiff of B.O. emanating from the White House and its environs for two and a half years now, and even those notoriously asnomic leftists closest to our foundering President are holding their noses.

Obama’s devoted followers, mainly the leftist simpletons in the press claque, continue to find imaginative new ways to structure polling questions designed to maintain the illusion that B.O. is not only still popular, but well-nigh unbeatable.

The fact of the matter is that if the election were to be held today, Obama would lose by 5 points to your mother-in-law, by 7 points to Muammar Ghaddafy, and possibly by double digits to Gary Busey. David Axelrod might think it’s still cool to like Obama, but who’s taking advice on coolness from a guy with a Hitler comb-over and mustache? Check the photos — they appear to have separated at birth. Maybe the people watching Jersey Shore still think it’s cool to be stupid, but they aren’t very likely to be able to carry the election for Obie Done.

With all the talk about the weakness of the current crop of Republican presidential candidates, did you ever stop to think how the Flower of Affirmative Action got nominated in the first place? The Democrat slate was so weak in 2008 that über-sleazoid John Edwards was a serious contender and actually bamboozled 4.5 delegates to vote for him at the convention, despite the fact that he was battling with National Enquirer reporters in hotel bathrooms to keep his baby-mama under wraps. Other serious contenders included the morally bankrupt Chris Dodd, the charismatically bankrupt New Mexico governor, Bill Richardson, the intellectually bankrupt Joe Biden and the spiritually, philosophically, and morphologically bankrupt queen of spite and smoocher of the Arafats, Hillary Clinton.  Did I leave out Dennis Kucinich?  Doesn’t every serious person leave out Dennis Kucinich?

Never mind that pre-Tea Party Republicans allowed the media and the cross-over primary voting processes in several states to choose Senator Doofus of Arizona as our candidate, a man who deservedly served as the caboose in his graduating class from the Naval Academy. McCain is such a pitiful excuse for a Republican that he makes the other RINOs look Reaganesque in comparison.

The B.O. Media has already found its 2012 version of McCain and is scavenging to gin up support for Jon Huntsman. He’s pals with B.O. and the Chinese and believes in global warming. I guess you could say that Romney and Huntsman are members of the Latter Day Republicans.

Huntsman, like his aisle-crossing predecessor McCain, may just be the only nominally Republican candidate incapable of thrashing the golfing, basketball playing, ice-cream cone eating, Israel-bashing, United Kingdom-dissing, czar-appointing, bowing and scraping impostor currently spending America's money like an aircraft carrier full of drunken sailors.  Huntsman's speeches all have that John McCain coda: "I respect the President."

Trouble is, fewer and fewer do. Conservatives believe he is a socialist and redistributionist. Liberals think he's taken on too many of George Bush's policies.  Moderates don't really believe much of anything anyway, but you can bet they concur with the libs and conservatives that B.O. is a liar.  It's gotten so bad that when B.O. tried to suggest to his own Democratic National Committee that his administration had created over 2.1 million jobs in the past 15 months, the closed caption script suggested laughter.  Of course he has since gotten the Huffington Post and his WH staff to switch the description from "Laughter" to "Applause," but the Caesar from Indonesia is no longer fooling anybody.

If it weren't for the torrential rains across the Midwest and the unusual tornado activity there, people in Idaho would be able to smell this administration, whose policies decidedly stink on ice. His foreign policies are Carteresque, his economic policies are Hooveresque, and his administration's ethics are Clintonesque.  B.O.'s approach to the Presidency is so abhorrent, that he may actually be able to accomplish something that even Jimmy Carter couldn't do: he might actually lose the votes of liberal Jewish Americans.

It must have been hard for the crossover voters like Christopher Buckley and Peggy Noonan in 2008 to pull the lever in the voting booth while holding their noses. It should be even harder in 2012 with the other hand held over their eyes. You can bet B.O. will find some new ACORN style assistants to help out in the voting booth, but even that won't be enough.

B.O. is Hawaiian toast. The latest polls show that merely 30% of voters intend to vote for Obama in 2012. Support for B.O. is falling like the Roadrunner with an anvil racing off a cliff.

He will be lucky to carry Hawaii and Bernie Sanders.

B.O.unbeatable? B.S.

This brings up a valid point that we MUST not allow the left to choose our candidate. I don’t really think we will be fooled again, but we must keep vigilant. I make sure that whenever I speak with anyone about the potential GOP nominee that I stress that we intend to choose our candidate based on their TRUE conservative values and principles. ANYONE can beat Obama, but we don’t want just an Obama-lite, we want a true ANTI-Obama.

Over the weekend, Michele Bachmann caught up with Mitt Romney in the Iowa Polls, Herman Cain and Santorum’s (meet Rick Santorum video begins at 15:54) campaigns are looking up and Sarah Palin has hit her all time high without entering the race and more and more analysts are waging that she could win!  As Rush said, that is why the left fears and demonizes her.   There is hope my friends for real change!  Ask Marion~

CBS Says: Palin Is A Seasoned Executive-More Than Qualified To Be President

Sarah Palin is either running for President or she should be: That's the takeaway from "The Undefeated," a new movie about Palin's life and leadership set to hit theaters next month.

Billed as a documentary - though told in a fast-paced and dramatic style - the two-hour movie is an unabashed defense of the former Alaska governor that leaves the distinct impression her presidential candidacy not only is possible, but inevitable.

Stephen Bannon, the movie's creator, took on the project after Palin's aides approached him late last year about making a series of videos on Palin. He proposed a movie instead, and bankrolled it himself. The final product, which I saw last week in a screening for a few reporters, gives Palin the introduction she never really had when the Hockey mom from Wasilla became John McCain's running mate in 2008.

By tracing her political rise in Alaska, her battles with Big Oil and the Republican establishment, and her accomplishments as governor, the movie argues one overriding point: Sarah Palin is a seasoned executive who is more than qualified to be President.

It also adds context to her bus tour of historic sites and patriotic events, which she says she undertook to remind people about the principles America was founded on and the importance of the Constitution. Critics have questioned whether the tour is, in fact, just a big publicity stunt, but "The Undefeated" shows video of a young Palin echoing some of those same themes 20 years ago, when she was a rookie on the stump campaigning for office.

That's one of the things I found most striking about the movie. Since Palin burst on the national scene in 2008, critics have portrayed her as an unformed and uninformed political thinker, suggesting someone just crammed her head with these ideas and unleashed her on America.

But "The Undefeated" goes a long way towards debunking that tired narrative. It shows an unbroken line in her thinking over the past two decades. The things she's saying on her bus tour about freedom, free markets, fiscal responsibility and the proper role of government are the same things she's been saying ever since she entered into politics.

It got me to thinking about the grossly unfair and inaccurate story line that developed over the years about Justice Clarence Thomas - another favorite target of the Left. The rap on Thomas was that he was unqualified for the Supreme Court and incapable of serious thought - so as a Justice, he blindly followed conservative superstar Antonin Scalia.

That narrative is not only offensive, but flat-out wrong, as documents in the Library of Congress make clear. Thomas never followed Scalia; he had his own powerful views, and often persuaded Scalia to follow HIM.

Thomas still is mocked and scorned by his critics, who refuse to give him any credit for his accomplishments or ideas. But he doesn't care about critics, and he doesn't try to appease them. That reminds me of Palin, too.

This movie won't appease her critics. There are no olive branches in it. In fact, the opening sequence is a relentless assault - a montage of the breathtakingly offensive and vile things said about Palin and her family.

The first half of the movie focuses on Alaska - not only on Palin's accomplishments there, but on the unique qualities of self-reliance and independence of the state itself. The second hour chronicles Palin's stint as the vice presidential nominee.

Bannon used Palin's voice from the audio recording of her book, "Going Rogue," to narrate the movie. He says he had complete editorial control over it, and that Palin only saw the finished product two weeks ago. According to Bannon, she said it "blew her away."

It's easy to see why. If you like Sarah Palin, the movie will make you like her even more. Using never-before seen video, it shows Palin taking on the machine and winning, while racking up whopping 80 percent approval ratings in the state. And you will feel fresh outrage about how savagely she has been treated and mocked by Hollywood and the liberal elite.

But if you don't like Sarah Palin, the movie is unlikely to change your mind. (Frankly, if you don't like Palin, you probably won't be shelling out any money to go see it in the first place). You'll probably think of it as a one-sided campaign ad and wonder where the critics are.

I would suggest that we all open our minds and take a second look and listen to all the candidates and what they stand for and say… instead of making a decision based on what has been orchestrated for us to see and believe by the mainstream progressive media!  There is too much at stake not to!

Regardless of where you come down, though, here's one thing both sides should agree on: It certainly looks like Palin is running for President. As she says in a speech in the movie's very last scene: "Mr. President, game on."

But will she?

Many Republicans are unhappy with their choices for president, especially after Indiana Gov. Mitch Daniels declined to run.

But the ideal GOP candidate was on display in Washington last week.

He has experience in executive positions in both government and private business, and an impressive military record.

As a graduate of both Harvard and MIT, his establishment credentials are impeccable. But his strong conservatism has a populist strain. He connects with ordinary folks.

He's a member of a minority group which usually votes Democratic.

A champion debater at Cheltenham High School in the Philadelphia suburbs, he is an inspiring orator. He gets under Barack Obama's skin.

Alas, Benjamin "Bibi" Netanyahu already has a job. He's prime minister of Israel.

Mr. Netanyahu concluded a powerful week Tuesday with an address to a joint session of Congress. He received 29 standing ovations. ABC's Jonathan Karl noted that during his (much longer) State of the Union address, President Barack Obama received only 25.

The Israeli prime minister returned home strengthened immeasurably by Mr. Obama's clumsy effort to diminish him. The highlight of his visit came during a joint appearance at the White House when Mr. Netanyahu delivered to the president's face a short, respectful, but powerful explanation for why Israel could never return to its 1967 borders.

Mr. Obama's body language indicated he was surprised and displeased that Mr. Netanyahu would dare confront him. And when the president tried to walk back what he'd said about borders during his speech Sunday to the American Israel Public Affairs Committee, the heavily Democratic audience of 1,200 mostly sat on their hands. Other speakers at the AIPAC conference -- including Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, D-Nev. -- sided with Mr. Netanyahu.

"This is what a leader looks like," wrote Bryan Preston of Pajamas Media of Mr. Netanyahu's "very impressive" speech to Congress. "Not a word of it will have to be 'clarified' or walked back in a day or two. It will not be 'misunderstood,' as President Obama claims his speech of last week has been. I have had many friends on the Republican side tell me 'if only we had a candidate like that.' "

Bibi Netanyahu can't run for president of the United States. But he showed those who are running how to get the better of Mr. Obama: Talk straight. Talk substance. Go directly at him.

While Congress was applauding Mr. Netanyahu, Mr. Obama was showing us what leadership isn't. On a visit intended more to advance his re-election campaign than the interests of the United States, Mr. Obama played Ping-Pong with British Prime Minister David Cameron, signed the wrong date in the distinguished visitors' log at Westminster Abbey and botched a toast to the Queen.

The fluffiness of the agenda didn't prevent Mr. Obama and Mr. Cameron -- pygmies who imagine themselves giants -- from comparing themselves to Ronald Reagan and Margaret Thatcher.

We should bear this in mind when Obamaphiles in the news media bemoan the alleged weakness of the Republican presidential field. Jay Cost, perhaps the premier psephologist in American today, noted that the three most plausible declared candidates -- former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney, former Minnesota Gov. Tim Pawlenty and former Utah Gov. Jon Huntsman -- all have more impressive resumes than Barack Obama did when he ran for president. And -- unlike Mr. Obama, who voted "present" more than 100 times in the Illinois legislature -- all can boast significant accomplishments.

They are likely to be joined soon by former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin, who takes a back seat to no one in the straight talk department. And a strenuous effort will be made to push Rep. Paul Ryan, R-Wis. -- who gets as deeply under Mr. Obama's skin as Mr. Netanyahu does -- into the race. (Wisconsin law would permit Mr. Ryan to run for president and for re-election to the House at the same time.)

The GOP field arguably is weak ... compared to Bibi Netanyahu. But Republicans are running against Barack Obama, who's made a hash of the economy and foreign policy, and who seems to spend more time golfing and partying and campaigning than attending to his duties. The weaker candidate in 2012 won't be the Republican nominee.

It is still early and not unusual for people to feel uncertain by the party not in the White House to feel uncertain about their field of candidates.

It is also time to consider why we feel uncertain about some of strongest contenders… because Hollywood and the media have made them look bad… because the media has told us that Obama can’t be beaten and our field is weak… because we have actually become such a Nanny State that when the good candidates tell us the truth we aren’t willing to make the needed sacrifices?

Rush Limbaugh said last week that it is the left who was pushing Mitch Daniels, that Obama is beatable as long as we watch the fraud, intimidation and cheating and Sarah Palin is the one they are afraid of so they keep belittling and pounding on her… because she could beat Obama!

The 2012 Election is the GOP’s to lose, so let’s not beat ourselves! Let’s fight like Hell for our first choice candidate in the primaries and then unite around whomever the GOP candidate against Obama ends up being.  America and Israel… freedom around the world cannot survive four more years of Barack Obama and his handlers and cronies!!

PALIN‘S BUS DEFACED WITH ’MEDIA WHORE’ SIGN

Someone posted an unfriendly sign on Sarah Palin’s tour bus earlier today. The villain’s message, pasted directly over the words, “We the People” on a picture of the Constitution, read, “I, The Media Whore.” Gawker has more:

[the sign] was sacrilegiously placed over a monster image of the preamble to the United States Constitution for nearly 15 minutes. The bus was parked outside Fox News headquarters.
