RNC Chairman Says Hillary 2016 Candidacy is Set… And Female Presidency Will be the Carrot

5sarahpalin_thumb

We have a country to save!

What Difference Does It Make

What difference does it make?

America… if the elites on both sides fear you enough to create a whole syndrome about you, the average person should be on your side!  And if the media worships you… the average America should wary if not afraid!

By Marion Algier – Ask Marion

The 2016 shuffle is in full swing.  Seems Hillary is looking like the heir to the Democrat nomination. While on Friday,12.06.13 Rand Paul’s (R) wife, when asked, said ‘no’ to a 2016 run for her husband… leaving some wiggle room; Elizabeth Warren (D) said she would not be running; while Ben Carson (R) said God had a plan for him and indicated that he was closer to a decision to run.

Then when RNC Chairman Reince Preibus told Hugh Hewitt on air Wednesday, 12.04.13, that his team was getting ready for Hillary in 2016, the "news" went viral on the left in a hurry.  And of course this time around, instead of electing the first Black President, the Democrats’ carrot will be electing the first female President, even if she is recycled goods with unending baggage and scandals in her back background.

Hewitt:

(The complete transcript of my chat with the chairman is here, including my continuing pitch for Cleveland as the site of the 2016 RNC Convo.)

The Huffington Post story reporting on Preibus' matter-of-fact acknowledgment drew 3,000+ comments in 12 hours.

Talking Points Memo and Politico added coverage. Others will follow through the day.

There should be no surprise here though, of course it is great to be the first show on which the chairman acknowledged the obvious. Priebus and his team have learned from Team Obama that once you know whom the other side is going to nominate, hone and and define that candidate. Don't wait for Labor Day 2016 to run negative ads about Hillary. Run them now. Start as soon as you can. That means now.

That's what Axelrod, Stephanie Cutter et al did vis-a-vis Mitt Romney from early 2012 forward. And it worked, as Collision 2012 by the Washington Post's Dan Balz and The Center Holds Bloomberg's Jonathan Alter and others confirm. (My interview with Balz is here; with Alter here.)

So people (especially Mr. Preibus) what does common sense dictate…? We, Republicans, with the support of anyone who knows that Hillary will be Obama with brains and perhaps less puppet strings attached… as well as the final death nail for America, need to wake-up and run the toughest and strongest female Republican candidate that we have and start backing and promoting her now!!!

And who would that female be, you ask?  Really???  Is there a question?  That would be Sarah Palin… who people she has helped get elected call the Kingmaker; who is asked by icons like Billy Graham to speak at their 95th Birthday Party; who draws throngs of people for book signings all over the country… including students after her speeches, and who has already survived every dirty, untruthful, and ugly attack the left can throw at her and her family.  The Journolistic attacks against Palin have all been proven to be a set-up and she has won every trumped-up battle in the courts.  Meaning:  Unless you are someone who loves Sarah and stuck with her or an honest thorough student of politics and current events… what you know or think you know about Sarah Palin is pretty much false!!  And in that same vain, what you know or think you know about Hillary Clinton is pretty much false!

And as for the GOP, Conservatives, Independents and fed up Democrats, there comes a time to realize that you have to stop running the same old moderates… McCain and Romney didn’t win, but Sarah Palin almost pulled out McCain’s bacon. And it is time to let the GOP establishment, who keep making the same bad decisions, ride into the sunset… and win with a winner. Or you can try to hang on and lose again and go the way of the Whigs.  The problem is that if the GOP loses again and we end up with Hillary… America is finished!

There shouldn’t even be a debate or do we want to beat ourselves to death again, like in the last primary?  But even in a fight like that, Palin is the best candidate because the mainstream media, the Democrats, and the GOP Establishment have already tried to beat her to a pulp and she came out the other end leaner, meaner, smarter and still standing. America… if the elites on both sides fear you enough to create a whole syndrome about you, the average person should be on your side!  And if the media worships you… the average America should wary if not afraid!

If they were dolls, the choice would be between Boring Benghazi Betty (Hillary) or Charismatic Constitutionalist Carol (Sarah).

We need to fight Hillary and the first female president scenario with Sarah and for once be ‘the first’ as well as on the side of the people.

The mainstream media was afraid of Sarah Palin because they knew she could win and would make a change in their Progressive world. But they love Progressive Hillary Clinton and are willing to overlook the truth, as they did with her hubby Bill and did again with Obama.  And even though Palin holds no office at this time, many in the mainstream media are obsessed with her and continue their unfounded attacks.

The question is… do you like where America is today: weak, jobless, controlled by Big Brother where soon the government will tell you who and when people get healthcare treatments?  Or do you love the Constitutional Republic America used to be: strong, working, where freedom and opportunity not Big Government ruled and our healthcare was the best in the world?  If you like option one… Hillary is your girl.  If you life option two… Sarah is your girl.  It is as simple as that.

Countering the possibility of the first woman president along with the Clinton machine… the GOP is not going to win with a male candidate and there is not a stronger woman in the arena to fight Hillary than Sarah Palin.  A great and winning ticket would be:

Palin-Cruz, Palin-West, Palin-Carson, Palin-Paul, Palin-Bachmann, Palin-Martinez…

The Democrats are busy rebranding Hillary Clinton and GOP should be busy re-introducing Sarah Palin.

Here is a good start for everyone… Listen to Palin’s 2008 convention speech, when she was the over-night darling, before the Democrat media plotted to destroy her.  Then buy or rent the Undefeated.  Go out to one of her book signings for her new book Good Tidings and Great Joy: Protecting the Heart of Christmas (Kindle) and meet her.  And then do your homework.  If you do, you will find that Palin is smart, patriotic, energetic, principled, honest, spiritual, nice but tough, charismatic, stands for and with the average American, really is and has what most feminists only talk about and is pretty to boot.  She made a difference in Alaska!!, whereas, to quote Charles Krauthammer, “Hillary is a Paper Tiger and won’t be remembered as an exemplary Secretary of State”.

sarah_palin_not_here_to_rebrand_here_to_rebuild_1

Hillary is worn-out, a progressive elitist, thinks she knows better than the average American, is un-relatable, and if you do your homework had more dirt and scandals in her background than anyone being considered for the highest office in the land should ever have.  For your homework her you can start by renting or buying Primary Colors and reading The Shadow Party: How George Soros, Hillary Clinton, and Sixties Radicals Seized Control of the Democratic Party (Kindle).  Do your homework on Benghazi (not what the mainstream media has been feeding us).  Then look up Huma Abedin Weiner, and start digging and doing your research the Clintons.

Hillary 1974-2014

As Americans, whatever your politics, or lack of political interest up to this point, we cannot afford to elect another president with vetting them, with really knowing who they are, and definitely on the word and guidance of a biased mainstream media.  We cannot afford another Obama and if you don’t like ObamaCare… you’ll hate HillaryCare!

And conservatives… stop buying into the Establishment line that a conservative or tea party type can’t win… or that Ronald Reagan or JFK couldn’t get elected by their parties today.  That is what those in power and their media minions want you to believe!!  If the American people get behind a true leader, they far out number those on the beltway of Washington D.C. as well as the ruling elite in the world!  So the people’s choice can win if the people get involved and stand-up!

Charles Krauthammer says Hillary Clinton Is ‘Eminently Defeatable’ in 2016… as long as the GOP wakes up!!

If you agree… please get involved and send this to RNC Chairman Reince Preibus… Twitter: @Reince and @RNCPRBS

Socialized Medicine Twins

Unless you are someone who loves Sarah and stuck with her or are an honest thorough student of politics and current events… what you know or think you know about Sarah Palin is pretty much false!!  And in that same vain, what you know or think you know about Hillary Clinton is also pretty much false!

Introducing Sarah

-5sarah-palin

By Marion Algier - AskMarion

In 2008 America, at least most of the lower 48 as they say in Alaska, was introduced to a dynamic, vibrant, articulate, patriotic, (and much to the chagrin of America’s ruling elite) charismatic gal that most of us could relate to.  She is the eye-catching mother of 5, including a special needs child; wife of a rugged, outdoorsy, good-looking, Iditarod snow mobile champion, who worked on the pipeline, ran a fishing business and is a nice guy to boot that has been her sweetheart for 30-years; is a self-made independent politician who worked her way up from the PTA, to Mayor of Wasilla, to Chairman of the powerful Alaska Oil and Gas Conservation Commission, to Governor of Alaska and then to the first Republican female nominee for Vice President; and if need be she can bring home the bacon or moose (that she can shoot herself) and fry it up in a pan or make her famous moose stew out of it for dinner.

In just over 45-minutes, Vice Presidential Candidate Palin energized and won the hearts of virtually everyone at the 2008 Republican National Convention and of millions at home, so please watch the video below with an open mind… whether you love Sarah, hate Sarah or don’t have an opinion, and whether you have heard it before or never did.  It is time for America to take another look at Sarah Palin, an honest look now that all the lies, fabrications, frivolous lawsuits and endless attacks have been proven to be just that… contrived and created lies and diversions by the liberal media and Progressive left machine, because they realized that Sarah Palin was the real deal and if they allowed her to play on an equal playing field without their interference, America… would love her.

Many people fell in love with Sarah Palin instantly, some were excited at the prospect of a fresh, inspiring, Reaganesque candidate that was a female to boot, but some saw her as a threat immediately, both on the left and within the GOP establishment as well, and they feared her. That quickly Palin Derangement Syndrome was born; a phenomenon that the left is still trying to peddle.

C-SPAN Video: GOP Vice Presidential Candidate Gov. Sarah Palin (AK) - Full VP Acceptance Speech at the RNC Convention 2008

Vice Presidential Candidate Gov. Sarah Palin (R-AK) at the Republican National Convention in 2008. It was a sight to behold and gave a speech for the ages. Sarah Palin electrified the stage, the convention hall, the Republican Party and women everywhere, until the mainstream media and the Progressive left began one of the largest hate campaigns in American history!

“Sarah was more qualified to hold the highest office in the land than all three of those numbnuts (McCain, Biden and Obama) put together. Look where we are now. We're so far in decline now we'll never pull out of it.” … Gunny Deuce

“The left progressive Democrat party is already hot and heavy into trying to rehab the old sow’s ear Hillary, even with all the scandals, into a silk purse they can (and will if American’s don’t wake up) sell to Americans and far too many women who have long been sold a bag of tainted goods about Hillary Clinton and  feminism in general”---Reformed Woman

“Did you know that halfway through her acceptance speech (above), the teleprompter stopped? If that was Obama he would have stood there with a deer in the headlights look... She is no dummy even though the media did a good job portraying here as such. Too bad we have a corrupt media that doesn't play fair.” …Jeanette Armstrong

“Sarah is a national treasure… sent to us at a time when we needed an honest, straight-talking fighter, but we allowed the corrupt media and progressive political machine behind them to steal her from us.  We have learned that McCain was/is no price, but Palin is! And it is not too late for America to wake-up!  Palin is a fighter and she is one of us, a real everyday American.  McCain was co-opted and corrupted; Sarah is as independent and tough as ever and has withstood more unfounded attacks and lies than anyone should ever be asked to.  Let us not make the same mistake again and elect the likes of Hillary Clinton, who is Obama with brains, making her even more dangerous. It is time for the first woman president… this woman, Sarah Palin, who will represent us, serve us and fight for us!!”  …MGA

My husband and I were lucky enough to hear and see Sarah Palin speak live, at her first Rally in Cali, not long after she had been tapped as John McCain’s running mate. She was mesmerizing and both inspired and energized the crowd of about 23,000 people. She was introduced and supported by the Los Angeles President of NOW (the National Organization for Women), a lifetime Democrat and political convert supporter of Sarah Palin as she introduced herself… until the powers that be within her group convinced her otherwise.

Many people have forgotten that soon after Sarah was chosen for VP that she and McCain were ahead, because of Sarah, until  McCain decided to suspend the campaign and trudged back to Washington, D.C. because of the financial crisis. Had that not happened or maybe even if McCain had just not headed back to D.C., he and Palin could very well have won! What a different America we would be living in, if that were the case!

Sarah Palin’s brother recently, Chuck Heath, Jr. recently posted a list of his own on his Facebook entitled Ten Things That Sarah Plain Is Lacking.

Ten Things That Sarah Palin is Lacking:

#1-Pedigree: Sarah was born into a low-income family with no political connections. Everything she’s achieved has been through her own hard work.

#2-Soft hands: Sarah has continually worked to provide for herself and her family, whether it was as a commercial fisherman, a hunter, a waitress, etc., she’s never been afraid to get her hands dirty.

#3-Sleep: I watched Sarah work 15-20 hours a day, seven days a week as governor. Her stamina amazes everyone close to her.

#4-A golf handicap: Although she loves the game, you would never see Sarah spending countless hours on the links during a position of leadership.

#5-Shady friends: Sarah has no ties to known domestic terrorists, and no wealthy foreign friends that financed trips for her overseas.

#6-Hidden college transcripts: Her school records have always been open to the public.

#7-A perfect family: Despite hardships that almost every American family faces, Sarah has kept her head up and focused on the positive, and she’s always been there to help us when we’ve needed her.

#8-Friends in the media, Hollywood, and rap music: The vast majority of Hollywood stars and the mainstream media have done everything in their power to destroy her. No major network newsman has ever said that he gets a tingle up his leg when he thinks of her.

#9-A lack of respect for the Constitution: Sarah has always looked at the Constitution as a brilliant blueprint for America; a document that clearly lays out a separation of powers so that no one person or group of people have absolute power.

#10-A doubt in our Creator: Every big decision Sarah makes has been based on prayer.

Sarah herself can get more positive traction out of her Facebook posts or an announcement through SarahPac than President Obama gets out of his speeches, as he spends millions in taxpayer dollars running around the country.

SarahPAC: Thank you for your support! Now on to 2014....   Recently Posted on the SarahPAC website was Moving forward…

“Before they left for vacation last week, Congress made sure their taxpayer-funded health care plans won’t be affected by Obamacare.”

Sarah Palin is back in full force, as a Fox News Analyst and will be on the front lines, shaking up Election 2014 and 2016, whether in the trenches as the ‘Kingmaker’ she has turned out to be or as a candidate. Palin has been cleared of all the false allegations, proven to be right over and over again, and President Obama has even taken her advice on a few issues.  It was even proven that journolists colluded to bring Palin down.

And 2016 just could turn out to be The Election of the First Female President of the United States? and Hillary Clinton Certanily Doesn’t Deserve Our Admiration or Another Shot at the Presidency, but the progressive controlled networks are already gearing up with early freebie promotions and public manipulation,  Both CNN and NBC have documentaries and mini-series lined up to get us the “sheeple” as they see us indoctrinated for Election 2016.

I recently moved to a new area and joined a local woman’s group with International reach, most of the members are Democrats that were weaned on modern day feminism and its thoughts and ideals. I also joined the local Republican Women’s group and the tea party chapter in the area and the local Alzheimer’s Foundation support group (under attack by loosing funds through the implementation of ObamaCare), having had to take on the roll of caretaker for my in-laws.  For the women’s group, we were asked to share our ideas for topics for their upcoming (March 2014) conference.  I purposely passed out sheets to the attendees with my 6 suggestions written out as scant bullet points with a large area below each point for everyone to make notes, expecting that they would want input, clarification and additional information as to my thought process. And so they did.

The ages of the women present were between 20 and 85-years-old. 90% of the women had college degrees and approximately 85% of the women considered themselves feminists.  Only 3 had ever heard Sarah Palin’s Convention Speech and only 1 realized that Margaret Sanger, the founder of Planned Parenthood, believed in eugenics.  I purposely used Palin as my example of how women’s groups need to have a larger tent if they really want to make real change and the hypocrisy of being part of a women’s group that hates a women that really has it all, without knowing why you don’t like her and going down that path because the media convinced you based on lies, selective reporting and fabrications.  There wasn’t a sound in the room and I have heard back from several of these women since; all realizing they misjudged Sarah Palin, allowed themselves to be manipulated, and apologetic and somewhat embarrassed.

Then my husband arbitrarily ran into a now elderly but former leader in the California Republican Party.  They chatted about a whole list of topics that they had in common and then my husband asked who this man felt would be the GOP Standard Bearer in 2016.  After his disappointing answer, my husband mentioned that his wife was a blogger and Palin supporting kinda gal, as well liking some of the new GOP blood like Senators Rand Paul and Ted Cruz (both Palin supporters) to name just a few, and was hoping for an American epiphany in 2016.  The response was… “She and they are just too conservative for the GOP to run for President”  I could only think, really?  Too patriotic, too conservative, too in favor of the U.S. Constitution, too God-fearing, too big on individual rights?  Perhaps too much like average Americans or at least what they want in a leader for the Republican Party… to take a chance on someone with the courage, strength, conviction and goal of turning America around??  And hasn’t the GOP learned after two elections that running a Democrat-lite candidate is not what the American people want?  Now is the time to change that attitude!  They want and deserve a choice!

Each and every American owes it to themselves to know who and why they are voting for the candidates they choose and who and why they are not voting for their opponent(s). And for those who do/did their homework and know the truth and facts, they owe it to themselves, to their children, to America and to the people who are willing to put themselves on the live and run so that each of us have a choice in our elections, to pass along what they know.

And for those of us who realize that one of the best options for America out there was stolen from us, we need to get out there and introduce (reintroduce) Sarah…

Sarah Palin Back as Fox News Analyst…

Sarah-Getty-Image

Sarah Palin, 49, said she's "pleased and proud to be rejoining Roger Ailes and the great people at Fox."  Fox and Palin parted ways in January 2013 after she had worked there for three years as a contributor but reportedly butted heads with Ailes.  Palin was the rarest of Fox News pundits from the beginning, one who refused to march in lockstep with the network's orders… vintage Sarah!

By Marion Algier – AskMarion

Now, less than half a year after they decided to part ways, Sarah Palin has rejoined the Fox News Channel as an analyst.

The former Alaska governor and 2008 Republican vice presidential candidate has signed on as a contributor to Fox and the Fox Business Network. Her first appearance back will be (was) Monday, 06.17.13 on the morning show "Fox & Friends." (See below)

Fox News Chairman Roger Ailes, who said he has had several conversations with Palin over the past few weeks about her returning said:

"I have great confidence in her and am pleased that she will once again add her commentary to our programming. I hope she continues to speak her mind."

Palin said that "the power of Fox News is unparalleled and that the role of Fox News in the important debates in our world is indispensable."

Palin originally joined Fox with much fanfare in 2010, less than two years after her vice presidential run with McCain, when she was being talked about as a strong 2012 presidential contender, signing for a reported $1 million a year.

In September 2008, Sarah Palin secretly met with Fox News Chairman and CEO Roger Ailes during her campaign tour through New York, a stop which included a friendly chit-chat with Henry Kissinger and a not-so-friendly chit-chat with Katie Couric. The private sit-down was a chance for Ailes and Palin to get to know each other. Ailes, who has said, "I never did focus groups on any talent I put on the air. It was all done out of my gut," spotted something early in the former Alaska Governor. "Say what you will, she hit a home run," he told Fox News executives after her electrifying convention speech at the Xcel Energy Center.

Terms of Sarah’s new contract have not been disclosed, but it is unlikely to be quite as lucrative as the first time around. But then again, Fox and Ailes may be hedging their bets. Fox stayed publicly positive when Palin’s departure was announced in January, with network executive Bill Shine officially saying that "we have thoroughly enjoyed our association" with Sarah… even though he had previously called her dumb in an interview with NY Magazine.  Those who know Sarah, have heard her speak (especially live) and who follow Palin would say she is, “charismatic and certainly ‘not’ dumb… or perhaps ‘Dumb like a Fox’”… no pun intended.

There were signs of tension in Fox's relationship with Palin all along, but when she announced she would not be a presidential candidate in 2012 on Mark Levin’s radio show instead of on Fox, which was paying her to be a contributor, they were not happy and it only worsened their relationship. Shine placed a call to Palin's rep Bob Barnett and warned him she was at risk of being "benched."  After that, Palin was (purposely) overshadowed at Fox during the 2012 campaign by analyst Karl Rove, who was one of Sarah’s biggest critics on the right. Palin’s ‘tea party message’, meaning standing up for the people and the truth, attracted the ire of GOP establishment honchos like Karl Rove, who before the 2010 mid-terms reportedly complained to Ailes that Palin was damaging to the ‘GOP brand’ and was getting too much air time.

Money may have also been a factor leading up to the Palin-Fox split. Palin was signed for the reported $1 million a year when she originally joined Fox less than two years after being McCain's running mate and possible future GOP presidential candidate in 2012, which did not materialize.  Having taken herself out of the presidential sweepstakes caused her value to the to network plummet.

At the Republican National Convention in August 2012, Palin was bumped from a prime-time interview slot and in true Palin fashion, she took to Facebook to complain about it, breaching Fox protocol.

However, as time passes and situations change, one never knows what is in Sarah Palin’s future, especially as the negative news of scandals and cover-ups allegedly involving Obama, his administration and former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton continue to surface. Plus many of the reports, accusations and fabricated mis-steps for which Sarah was doubted and criticized have been proven to be just that… false and ‘fabricated’.  Sarah Palin has surfaced as the winner and has been proven to be right and victorious in virtually all of the created contention and mis-information.  There could still be a senatorial or presidential run (or both) in her future. Palin’s nickname in political circles is ‘Kingmaker’ and her speeches always rock the house… as did her vice-presidential acceptance speech at the GOP Convention in 2008…  See Flashback here of media reviews of Governor Palin’s 2008 RNC Speech.  Let us remember that because of Sarah Palin, the McCain-Palin Ticket was leading until McCain foolishly decided to suspend his campaigning for a few days to go back to D.C. to get involved in the bailout talks.  Palin is and was golden on the campaign trail and almost every Palin facebook post since instantly goes viral

Senator Ted Cruz (R-TX) has praised Palin for her fearlessness and being instrumental in electing senators such as Rand Paul, Pat Toomey, Jeff Flake, Deb Fischer, Marco Rubio, and himself (Cruz), plus governors like Nikki Haley of South Carolina; the ‘Palin Effect’.  Sarah left Fox warning she was Loaded for Bear for the upcoming elections (2014 and 2016) and has vowed to shake up the GOP machine as well as the Progressive left.

One day after the 2012 Election, in a poll taken by Greta Van Susteran, 41.9% of Republicans considered Governor Sarah Palin the leader of their party.  No one else came anywhere near that percentage in the polling.  And in December 2012, with sparks flying on both sides, Fox News spokesperson Brian Lewis said "we look forward to having a long and beneficial relationship with the Governor."  Looks like he knew what he was talking about and everybody just needed a bit of a time out!?!  Four months obviously proved long enough…

Palin’s return to Fox on Monday is (was) an attention-getting event that will come during the time slot that CNN is debuting its new morning show with a lot of fanfare. This will be the second time in a year that Palin will be used as ammunition in a television morning show competition.

Last year when NBC's "Today" show was locked in a fierce ratings struggle with ABC's "Good Morning America," Palin was a one-day guest host on the “Today” show which enabled NBC to win that day and week in the ratings.  Palin not only won the ratings war for NBC, but WON over her nemesis Katie Couric, on that Day One of the Morning Network ratings war.

Like her or not… Sarah Palin has super star-power and she creates ratings and news, good and bad, whenever she appears.  There is a sense of poetic justice to having Palin win the One Day media war over Couric and ultimately help NBC win the morning media war for the week, as well as be part of the media ranks in general after the mainstream media (MSM), beginning with CFR-darling Katie Couric, and other left-wing jour’NO’lists colluded and declared an all out war against her when they all caught Palin Derangement Syndrome that somehow has managed to continue on to this day.  But that might be changing… people are waking up, to Obama’s lies and Palin’s honesty and wisdom, plus the media is less enamored with Obama since, after being his lap dogs, it has turned out that Team Obama spied on them just like on average Americans, anyway.

Political activist and Tea Party favorite and soloist Lloyd Marcus said, “The Gladiator Sarah Palin: We Need(ed) You Back in the Arena

Update: She’s back…  Sarah Palin made her return debut on Fox and Friends co-hosting with Steve Doocy, Brian Kilmeade and Megyn Kelly:

Video: Sarah Palin Rejoins Fox & Friends - Talks DC Scandals, Snowden, & Tea Party…

Sarah rocked the Fox and Friends house on her first morning back, even though some thought she was a little bit subdued… for Sarah, not to worry; knowing Sarah it won’t be for long before she is inspiring conservatives and scaring liberals every time she appears.  Palin was in full swing at the the Faith and Freedom Coalition’s annual conference in Washington, D.C. over the weekend. Palin’s best line came at the start of the Fox and Friends program, when they showed a clip of her speech from over the weekend at the Faith and Freedom Coalition conference (See in full below) reminding us just how much we missed her… and need her!

Congress should “put themselves on Ted Cruz control for a week," said Palin.

Senator Ted Cruz (R-TX), was a phone-in guest, which was how they played that bit, and note her comment that the US should “let Allah sort it out” in Syria, instead of ramping up military aid to Syrian rebels.

Palin talked a bit about her upcoming Christmas book, Good Tidings and Great Joy: Protecting the Heart of Christmas, which she described as a legal how to primer to “pushing back on the politically correct who would try to take the Christ out of Christmas," but also a “festive and jolly” book with recipes. Seems she and Governor Perry of Texas are both getting an early jump on ‘the war on Christmas’.

Sarah then spent a lot of time conflating the IRS scandal, in which agency officials vetting applications for nonprofit 501(c)(4) status singled out politically and religiously conservative groups for special scrutiny, and recent revelations about the extent to which the National Security Agency (NSA) captures the communications data of Americans.

“This is one big ball of wax of a big, overgrown government that has gotten out of control and the people have had enough”, said the former Alaskan governor.

Palin appeared to agree with fellow tea party favorite Senator Rand Paul, (R-KY)  in regard to NSA leaker and self-described whistleblower Edward Snowden, observing at one point that “nothing will ever be the same for this man,” and also saying, “I think that the issue here again is that government is so large and so intrusive in all aspects of life that we need more revelations; we need more truth about what our administration is doing."

She’ll certainly ramp things up in appearances to come with utterances liberals will find outrageous and that Tea Party members and Constitutionalists in general will love… as she did at the Faith and Freedom Coalition Annual Conference!

CPAC Star: We are not here to re-brand a party… We are here to rebuild a country!

CPAC Darling Rocks the House Again!!  The ex-governor called for conservatives to 'stop preaching to the choir'

By Ask Marion - AP Photo/Carolyn Kaster

Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin drinks from a 7-Eleven Super Big Gulp on stage while speaking at the 40th annual Conservative Political Action Conference in National Harbor, Md., on Saturday. Earlier in the week a New York judge struck down a ban proposed by New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg to end the sale of sugared sodas larger than 16-ounces.

“Barack Obama promised the most transparent government ever… Barack Obama, you lied!!” said Sarah Palin

Amid the Republican soul-searching on display at this week's Conservative Political Action Conference, the former GOP vice presidential nominee and Governor of Alaska issued her prescription: "Now is the time to furlough the consultants, and tune out the pollsters, send the focus groups home, and toss the political scripts," Palin said, "because If we truly know what we believe, we don't need professionals to tell us."

Governor Palin’s exceptional speech at CPAC 2013 was well-received, with loud applause and repeated standing ovations from the audience. CSPAN posted an archival video of her speech, and you can practically get a transcript by reading the many articles that have been written about it.  As in 2012, when Palin was the Keynote speaker, she brought it home again this year after a surprise extra introduction from Ted Cruz who thanked her and said he and 2 other recently elected candidates would not be there if it were not for Sarah Palin… plus rattling off a list of other candidates that Sarah Palin has supported and helped.

Sarah Palin Information Blog Roundup:

Mytheos Holt at the Blaze writes:

Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin delivered a barn-burning, hyper-folksy speech to conservative activists Saturday, bringing the entire audience to its feet multiple times.

Palin’s speech at the Conservative Political Action Conference started in an unconventional way: After she was first introduced, the crowd was shocked to see Texas Sen. Ted Cruz walk out onstage. Cruz said he was there to introduce Palin himself ahead of his keynote speech later in the afternoon.

“The mainstream media wants us to be timid and hide in a corner. And the mainstream media is absolutely convinced that women cannot be conservatives, and if they are, they especially cannot shoot really big guns and hunt grizzly bears,” Cruz said. “That’s why Governor Sarah Palin drives the mainstream media batcrap crazy.”

Cruz directly attributed his success to Palin, a key backer of his, saying: “I would not be in the U.S. Senate today if it were not for Sarah Palin.”

When Palin herself entered, the entire crowd surged for the first of many times. Palin waved energetically as she was welcomed, then immediately thanked Cruz.

“The senator is the keynote speaker and he would lower himself to do an introduction for a hockey mom from Wasilla,” Palin said in faux-wonder. “Ted Cruz, he chews barbed wire, he spits out rust. That’s what we need.”

[...]

“That chunk of metal did the crime? That’s like saying, ‘that fork made me fat,’” Palin joked about the idea that guns are responsible for violence. “Background checks? Dandy idea, Mr. President. Should’ve started with yours.”

Palin wasn’t close to finished. She moved on to attack the calls for “rebranding” of the Republican Party.

“Let’s be clear about one thing: We’re not here to rebrand the party. We’re here to rebuild a country,” Palin said. “We’re not here to dedicate ourselves to new talking points coming from DC. We’re not here to put a fresh coat of rhetorical point on our party…We’re here to restore America, and the rest is just theatrics. The rest is sound and fury. It’s just noise. And that sums up the job President Obama does today.”

[...]

“If you don’t have a team of lobbyists in D.C. or a canceled contribution check, well, you’re not at the table. You’re on the menu,” she said. “The last thing we need is Washington, D.C. vetting our candidates…If we had one message to send to Washington, it would be this: Get over yourself. It’s not about you.”

But when Palin left the stage, for those few moments, it was all about her, leaving the audience roaring on its feet for several minutes straight.

From an Associated Press article posted at Newsday:

Returning to the national stage, Former AlaskaGov. Sarah Palin said Saturday that the Republican Party must broaden its message to grow.

“We must leave no American behind,” she said in a populist speech that electrified supporters at a conservative summit in suburban Washington. “And we must share our powerful message of freedom and liberty to all citizens — even those who may disagree on some issues.”

[...]

Instead of focusing on rebuilding the Republican Party, she said that party leaders should focus on rebuilding the middle class.

She jabbed President Barack Obama and the Republicanprofessional class alike, urging the crowd to reject the ideas of political consultants and pollsters, taking a not-so-subtle dig at Karl Rove, a former adviser to President George W. Bush and a co-founder of outside group Crossroads USA.

“The architects can head on back . . . to the great Lone Star State, and put their name on some ballot, though, for their sake, I hope they give themselves a discount on their consulting services,” she quipped.

But Palin saved her most pointed criticism for the president, likening him to Ponzi-scheme felon Bernie Madoff. Taking a shot at the president’s call for universal background checks on gun owners, she said, “Dandy idea, Mr. President — should have started with yours.”

Alexandra Jaffe at The Hill writes:

Sarah Palin called for the conservative grassroots to avoid consultants in a fiercely anti-establishment speech that received the strongest response yet from a packed auditorium at the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) on Saturday.

“The next election is 20 months away. Now is the time to furlough the consultants, and tune out the pollsters, send the focus groups home and toss the political scripts. Because if we truly know what we believe, we don’t need professionals to tell us,” Palin said, one of at least a dozen lines that received standing ovations and sustained cheering from the crowd.

[...]

Palin pleased the crowd with a number of punchy one-liners that drew laughter and widespread applause.

She criticized President Obama for claiming to want to have the most transparent administration ever, charging “Barack Obama, you lie!” a reference to a House member shouting the same thing at Obama during a 2009 joint address to Congress.

And she lambasted the president for, she said, continuing to campaign instead of govern.

“Now step away from the teleprompter, and do your job!” she said.

From the FOX News Insider:

In a jab at New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg’s recently defeated plan to ban large sugary drinks, Sarah Palin brought one with her onto the stage at CPAC! In a moment that drew a huge response from the crowd during her address, the former VP candidate unexpectedly pulled out the huge beverage and took a sip.

“Oh Bloomberg’s not around, our Big Gulp is safe,” she quipped.

“Shoot, it’s just pop! With low-cal ice cubes in it. I hope that’s okay.”

James V. DeLong at Conservatives for Palin writes:

It started with a very nice introduction by a young woman from the NRA emphasizing Palin as an example to young conservatives, especially women. (I will post a transcript when I find it.) Then, just as the crowd began to roar in anticipation of Palin, out walked, instead, Ted Cruz. He delivered a short introduction reminding the audience of Palin’s importance in recent elections, including a comment that without Palin, Texas would not have Ted Cruz as a senator. Then Palin did come out, to an even greater roar than the first abbreviated one.

She has become an excellent speaker. You can tell from the leftist media that the current equivalent of Journolist has sent out the talking point for the day — “she’s just an entertainer.” The line was repeated too often in the early commentary for it to be an accident. Well, she is an entertainer, just as Reagan was an actor, Franklin Roosevelt was a radio personality, and Winston Churchill was a writer. She entertains her audience with humor and wit, using them as tools to get across serious messages.

[...]

Her style choices were interesting, too. She was dressed in casual but elegant black pants and shirt. Her hair was also casual, but disheveled in a way that takes considerable skill. She is tanned and looks very healthy. She is too thin, but that probably comes from the need to be in front of TV cameras, which add pounds. She spoke to the audience as friends, with lots of expression and gesture, and throughout the talk she was clearly enjoying herself, especially when she delivered the one-liners. The look was casual, but the presentation and packaging were not. I have seen some good speakers, and she is formidable, in way that meshes with her person, her history, her message, and her target audience.

After grudgingly admitting that “the ‘Mama Grizzly’ can work a crowd better than almost anyone else in the GOP,” Grace Wyler at Business Insider posted these as Gov. Palin’s 10 best one-liners:

Here are the 10 best lines:

1.  To CPAC and partiots in the audience: “ We are not here to re-brand a party… We are here to rebuild a country!”

2.  ”More background checks? Dandy idea Mr. President. Should’ve started with yours.”

3. On her husband, Todd Palin: ”He’s got the rifle, I’ve got the rack.” [Pulls out Big Gulp]

4. “Mr. President, we admit it. You won. Accept it. Now step away from the teleprompter and do your job.”

5. “We can’t just ignore, though, that we just lost a big election. Yeah. Came in second. Out of two … Second position on a dog sled team is where the view never changes and the view ain’t pretty.”

6. “We don’t have leadership coming out of Washington. We have reality television.”

7. To College Republicans:  “I’m so proud of the college Republicans. But I’m a Mama so I have to say, ‘You gotta be thinkin’ Sam Adams… not drinkin’ Sam Adams’”

8. “If these experts keep losing elections, keep raking in millions, if they feel that strongly about who should run in this party they should buck up and run or stay in the truck. The architects can head on back to the Lone Star State and put their name on the ballot.” [Clearly this is a reference to Karl Rove]

9. ”The next election is 20 months away. Now is the time to furlough the consultants, and tune out the pollsters, send the focus groups home and toss the political scripts. Because if we truly know what we believe, we don’t need professionals to tell us.”

10. To Washington consultants: “Get over yourself. It’s not about you.”

10. “Barack Obama promised the most transparent administration ever. Barack Obama — you lie!”

11.  To Obama: Crisis after crisis… Now step away from the teleprompter and do your job

12.  Remember no drama Obama?  Now it is all drama Obama!!

Sarah Palin to Address CPAC in March

Sarah Palin Rocked the CPAC House in 2012 on Her Birthday

Big Government: The American Conservative Union (ACU), which runs the annual Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC), announced on Monday that Sarah Palin will speak at the 40th annual gathering of conservatives in March.

“We are pleased to again welcome Governor Sarah Palin to CPAC in March,” ACU Chairman Al Cardenas said in a statement. “Governor Palin electrified the crowd in 2012 and we are thrilled to welcome her back this year.”

CPAC 2013 will be held Thursday, March 14 through Saturday, March 16, 2013 at its new location in National Harbor, MD at the Gaylord National Resort and Convention Center.

The non-Washington, D.C. location of this year's conference is fitting for Palin, who blistered the permanent political class and crony capitalism during her 2012 address last year in the nation's capital in her first appearance at the conference.

Last year, she was mobbed in the hallways before her speech. Palin stayed for nearly an hour after speaking, engaging conservatives and supporters who were there to listen to her. Reporters and observers at CPAC noted in 2012 they had not seen anyone who resonated with the conservative base more than Palin.

At CPAC 2012, Palin said Washington, D.C. had become "something that our forefathers never envisioned, and they would have sworn their lives, their fortunes, their sacred honor to change."

Conservative Super Star Sarah Palin: Brought the Red Meat to CPAC and They Loved It… Loved Her!

Palin said the "old Washington of our Founders" was a place where people "came to serve your government, not prosper over it and on it and from it and off of it." She mentioned the country's wealthiest counties were all around the D.C. region, a theme director Stephen K. Bannon and Peter Schweizer's Government Accountability Institute would later document a year later in "Boomtown."
She referenced her speech in Indianola, Iowa in 2011 when she spoke of "crony capitalism" that "isn't the capitalism of free men and free markets, of risk and sacrifice, of innovation and hard work." She said the new crony capitalism is one of "connections" and of "government bailout and handouts" and waste, "corporate welfare and corruption."

After her Indianola speech, "crony capitalism" and "permanent political class" were injected into the political vocabulary.

"This is the capitalism of Barack Obama and the permanent political class," Palin said at CPAC in 2012.

She lambasted the Occupy protesters who were at the conference in 2012, saying they should be instead protesting at Obama's White House, which has "spurred the expansion of government which diminishes freedom and opportunity for all to rise and to succeed."
Palin derided politicians who come to Washington, D.C. "denouncing the place as the cesspool of corruption" only to, after a year or two, see it as a hot tub.

"And they are hopping in and enjoying the Jacuzzi," Palin said, noting it was "time we drain the Jacuzzi and throw the bums out with the bath water."

After Palin turned down Fox News' offer to renew her contract, she spoke exclusively to Breitbart News about her future. When asked what her response was to the mainstream media's declarations that she and the Tea Party were "buried," Palin said she was raised "to never retreat and to pick battles wisely, and all in due season."

"When it comes to defending our republic, we haven’t begun to fight! But we delight in those who underestimate us," Palin told Breitbart News last month.
