Much time, energy and resources (calling in ‘favors’ isn’t a one way street) has been exerted detailing the unlawful actions of Obama Inc. Predictably, the abusive messages from their minions pour in fast and furious…who can keep up…but this is like water off a duck’s back…And yes, the buck does stop at the POTUS’s door, even though his handmaidens and surrogates are equally culpable.

Lest readers believe otherwise, there is no “malice aforethought” ( the term is generally applicable to the act of murder and its essence holds that of premeditation, but this is not the case herein, even though THEIR actions are fully pre-planned) in reporting their aggregate of malfeasance. In fact, it is downright depressing and degrading, as any patriot can attest. And just because one is an expatriate doesn’t make it any less compelling and onerous/burdensome.

But without having the goods none of the above would amount to squat. In fact, this blog’s compendium of research is so vast and pervasive it would take two lifetimes to completely do it justice. And yes, there are other topical-worthy matters – personal ones as well – which require this writer’s attention!

Hence, a short compilation will have to suffice. So commence with the latest, but start with this charge sheet: Indeed, in which universe is it legal to prop up community organizing grads at taxpayer expense? And with a regime gone wild, aren’t the abuses at the IRS more than meets the eye, knowing full well that the agency holds the keys to Obamacare, as well as the taxpayer trough?

But why anyone is still shocked by their treachery is beyond comprehension, unless one is missing a few screws. And one needn’t be the sharpest tool in the shed either. Not at all. After all, there are so many poopy droppings, one can’t help but step in them. Yet to aid the process along, go back to this blog’s beginnings, precisely in August 2012, and the following was front and center: An anti-American POTUS runs an un-American campaign was meant to warn the readers of the disasters afoot, if the Radical-in-Chief managed to grab a second term!

Yet it is within Congress’s mandate/purview to rein them in, even if they are becoming more and more irrelevant – rubber stamp-like. And reports, per se, won’t cut it. Quick, decisive actions are mandatory, if America – as a Constitutional Republic – is to survive.

‘CONGRESSIONAL REPORT LISTS 36 PAGES OF OBAMA’S CRIMES’

Congressman Darrell Issa has produced a shocking new report detailing the Obama administration’s extensive use of taxpayer-funded propaganda, which he says breaks federal law. The report created for the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform details how the former Alinskyite community organizer has channeled the resources of the federal government — that is, your money — to create “a sophisticated propaganda and lobbying campaign” made up of “inappropriate and sometimes unlawful public relations and propaganda initiatives.” The highlights include:

• Using federal arts grants to spread Obama’s legislative message. Last August 10, administration officials held a conference call with National Endowment of the Arts grant recipients. Buffy Wicks, a college radical who worked in Valerie Jarrett‘s Office of Public Engagement, told the invitees, “we’re going to come at you with some specific ‘asks’ here,” specifically supporting Obama’s initiatives on health care, the environment, or energy. She suggested, “We wanted folks to connect…with federal agencies, with labor unions, progressive groups, face groups [faith groups, perhaps?], women’s groups, you name it.” Within 48 hours, no fewer than 21 arts organizations released a statement endorsing ObamaCare.
• The Dept. of Health and Human Services paid MIT economist Jonathan Gruber nearly $400,000 for various jobs. He did not disclose his employment by HHS while writing a string of op-eds, nor while testifying before the Senate in favor of, ObamaCare.
• The Justice Dept. hired Tracy Russo, the former blogger for John Edwards, to comment on internet articles or bulletin board messages that criticized Barack Obama and his agenda. She did this anonymously or used a pen name.
• A Dept. of Education officer used the White House email to send his colleagues eight bullet points to “communicate the merits of the President’s proposal with your members and their audiences.”
• The federal government “highly recommended” constructing highway signs that tout big government and advertise politicians (including Obama). (Watch the committee’s video on the subject here.)
• Obama attempted to enlist “voluntary” Hollywood propaganda for his proposals through the iParticipate campaign.
• Andy Griffith starred in a Medicare “update” that doubled as a commercial for Obama’s health care legislation. Not only is the PSAl propaganda, it is erroneous. A writer with the nonpartisan FactCheck.org remarked Griffith’s scripted “promise that ‘benefits will remain the same’ is just as fictional as the town of Mayberry.”
• The White House routinely drove traffic to websites that lobby for Obama’s legislation.

Issa cites three separate federal statutes violated by the Obama administration and has called for a Government Accountability Office (GAO) to launch an investigation. If violations of the law are found, impeachment could follow.

It’s not bad enough the president is a megalomaniac who skirts the law to foist his far-Left agenda on the American people — he also uses your money to do it.”

NOT only that, but there appears to be a ‘smoking gun’, one which can bring the whole regime to its knees. Its essence is found within the so called ‘Birther‘ kerfuffle, one which is dismissed as crackpot-worthy. Not so fast. Recall, ‘The Teflon-One’ hired a slew of high priced lawyers to shield his documents from outing. Well and good. However, one of THEIR own resident experts, a forensics document examiner !, is jumping on board – the ‘Birther’ wagon. Holy crap.

And while it is heartening to realize that Rep Issa has led the charge sheet, it won’t matter a whit if Obama & gang are not behind bars, not unlike other Federal criminals. For if abusing tax payer funds (the tip of their crimes) in the service of radical, community organizing “ideals” – to make good on his/their promise to “transform” America – is not a criminal act, then what exactly rises to the definition?

Isn’t it crystal clear from all of the above, plus so much more, that bringing down America is their raison d’etre?

Office of Independent Counsel

If you want the Fast & Furious wrong-doers brought to justice, here is what you should do.

First write a letter to your Federal Representative, somewhat like this:

“Dear Representative:

I am a Citizen in your District and thank you for all the good work you are doing. But I remain very concerned about our beloved country. Representative Issa is doing the right thing by holding hearings into the Fast and Furious Scandal and when you get the opportunity, please thank them for their service to the citizens. There is no doubt that wrong-doing was going on in this matter and the wrong-doers need to be discovered and brought to justice – it is obvious a serious matter when weapons are provided to our enemies. Issa’s committee can discover the wrong-doing and the wrong-doers, but it cannot bring them to justice. Bringing them to justice is the job of an Independent Counsel. But the problem is that the Office of Independent Counsel was terminated in 1999 and is no longer in existence. The Office of Special Counsel is in existence and often it is confused with an Independent Counsel. A special counsel serves to defend federal employees who have been accused of wrong-doing, whereas an independent counsel serves to prosecute federal employees for wrong-doing. So a special counsel is exactly the opposite of what we patriots need in this matter – what we need is an independent counsel. So I respectfully request that you and your patriotic colleagues pass legislation that will reestablish the Office of Independent Counsel, so that it can bring Federal Fast & Furious wrong-doers to justice immediately after the House Oversight Committee hearing discovers who they are and what they did and when they did it.”

Next write a letter to each of your two Federal Senators along the same line and send them to the Governor with a note asking that she review and approve content (remember senators are supposed to represent the state and so are in the governor’s chain of command).

Next write a letter to your state senator and ask that he/she move the senate to approve a resolution to ask the federal government to reinstate the federal Office of Independent Counsel; and tell him that yes this is federal business, but in this case federal business is also Arizona and your State’s business.

Next write a letter to your state representative and ask the same thing you asked of your state senator in the previous paragraph.

Next write a letter to your county supervisor and ask the same thing.

Next write a letter to your city council person and ask the same thing

If you a member of the Republican Party, then write a letter to the Arizona and or your State’s Party Chairman, and your local Tea Party Chairman plus your 9/12 Organization Head and ask him to do the same thing.

If you live in a community that has a homeowners association, then write the president and ask him/her to do the same.

The more influence we can bring to bear on our Federal Congressmen to reinstate the Office of Independent Counsel the better.

It is becoming more and more evident that Fast and Furious is a much larger operation with many far reaching objectives and tentacles. And it is becoming more and more evident that the DOJ and the White House are doing everything in their power to hide and to distract from the facts because the blame and involvement many very well go all the way to the top… Eric Holder, Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama… and definitely to people in the White House. What did Hillary know and when did she know it and why has she flown under the radar on “Operation Gun Walker?

Breaking:  New Evidence Shows Progressive Anti-Gun Pro-UN Hillary a Mastermind Behind Gunwalker… making it ever more obvious that this entire operation and the reason behind “Fast and Furious” was to create a false flag to defeat the 2nd Amendment.

Last week it was reported that the State Department and Secretary of State Hillary Clinton were deeply involved in the scandal known as Operation Fast and Furious, or Project Gunwalker. Today, however, new evidence has surfaced indicating that not only was Hillary deeply involved in the scandal but was one of the masterminds behind it.

According to investigative citizen journalist Mike Vanderboegh, sources close to the development of the Gunwalker scheme state that early on, Hillary and her trusted associated at State, Andrew J. Shapiro, devised at least part of the framework of what would later become Operation Fast and Furious. It was Shapiro who first described the details of the proposed scheme early in 2009 just after the Obama Administration took office.

Congressman Darrel Issa, Chairman of the House Government Oversight Committee has recently called for an independent special prosecutor, could this travesty bring down the administration and end the career of Hillary Clinton?

It certainly looks as this entire scenario that resulted in untold number of people being killed in Mexico along with a US. Border Patrol Agent, Brian Terry and ICE Special Agent Jamie Zapata were killed in Mexico in February 2011 while on assignment. He was killed by a gun traced back to Operation Fast and Furious (Gun Walker) neither the Terry or the Zapata’s families will ever see justice. According to Mexico’s Attorney General, at least 200 of its citizens have been murdered in this operation.

We start breaking up the NWO crowd by sending this woman and all involved to federal prison with no opportunity for presidential clemency or pardon.

Justice may not be rendered because the Obama/Holder Justice Department has absolutely no interest in Justice. If fact a better name for the department would be the Department of Injustice, as it stalls, and perjurers while testifying before the Congressional Oversight Committee run by Congressman Darrell Issa.

“We have to recognize and accept that the demand for drugs from the United States drives them north, and the guns that are used by the drug cartels against the police and the military, 90 percent of them come from America.”

The person who spoke the words quoted above was Hillary Clinton. The year was 2009 in an interview with Lara Logan of CBS News, just prior to a trip to Mexico City to meet with Mexican officials concerning gun and drug smuggling.

Her statement shows that not only was the State Department heavily involved in the Gun Walker scandal but Secretary of State Hillary Clinton herself was at the forefront of pushing the false assertion that ’90% of the guns used by Mexican drug cartels come from the United States.’ It has only now been discovered the extent to which Clinton was involved.

This is, in essence, Hillary’s smoking gun, the bombshell proof that she was personally involved in what became known as the Operation Gun Walker scandal–an illegal scheme that was concocted in order to claim that draconian new gun restrictions and gun bans were needed in the United States, given that ‘most of the guns criminals use in Mexico come from America.’

As previously reported, the meme parroted by Barack Obama, Eric Holder, Janet Napolitano, and Hillary Clinton concerning the number of American guns used by criminals in Mexico was patently false, and they knew it was false. This is precisely why the Obama Administration concocted the scheme in the first place. If the facts do not prove that 90% of the guns come from the States, then make sure those numbers can be proved correct by walking the guns straight across the southern border directly into the hands of criminals.

Thus, the State Department, the Department of Justice, the Department of Homeland Security, the ATF, the FBI, ICE, and a host of other federal agencies went to work to send thousands of guns across the border, deliberately placing them in the hands of the cartels.

And despite the Administration’s claim that this was done only in order to trace the guns to criminals so that they could be found, arrested, and prosecuted, not a single arrest was made resulting from Gun Walker in spite of the fact that at the very least, 2500 guns were sent to Mexican criminals by the U.S. government.

One month after Hillary’s trip to Mexico, Barack Obama visited with Mexican President Calderon, where he stated once again, “This war is being waged with guns purchased not here, but in the United States. More than 90 percent of the guns recovered in Mexico come from the United States, many from gun shops that line our shared border.”

This was a blatant, barefaced lie.

But where did this notoriously false assertion originate? Mike Vanderboegh has uncovered the source. It came from none other than rabid anti-gun Senators Dianne Feinstein and Dick Durbin, both Democrats, who stated in a hearing during March of 2009:

Durbin said: “According to ATF [the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives], more than 90 percent of the guns seized after raids or shootings in Mexico have been traced right here to the United States of America.” Feinstein added: “It is unacceptable to have 90 percent of the guns that are picked up in Mexico used to shoot judges, police officers, mayors, kidnap innocent people and do terrible things come from the United States, and I think we must put a stop to that.”

The problem, however, is that when both NPR and Fox News–one liberal, one conservative–put that 90% figure to a fact-check, it came up sorely lacking. The actual number was closer to 17% at the most, according to Fox. And even NPR, after a contentious interview with an Obama Administration official, totally debunked the 90% claim, although they could not determine the exact number. And as Pajamas media later discovered, the correct figure was a mere 8%.

This prompted Vanderboegh to state the following:

So, not 17 percent, says the NPR expert, but not 90 percent either. This might result in the down fall of this administration in members of congress had any testosterone or estrogen circulating in their pathetic bodies.

The Secretary of State said 90 percent. The President said 90 percent. The Senators said 90 percent. NPR is not FOX. Even their supporters watch NPR, so does most of the media elite and nattering nabobs, as Spiro Agnew once called them. 90 percent has been discredited, at least in part. According to my sources, this did not go over well with Hillary. Not at all.

Documents and data made available from this time period in the scandal also show that the big question among Administration officials was how to push for massive new gun control and ‘assault weapons’ bans without paying a heavy political price for it…more evidence that from the start the entire scheme was not about catching criminals but restricting the Constitutional rights of American citizens.

"Fast And Furious" Just Might Be President Obama's Watergate… or Will It Be Solyndra, Light-Squared… or?

In a classic Friday night F&F Document Dump… (a sure sign of an administration with something to hide)  It  Shows ‘”Extensive” Communication with White House  The feds released to congressional investigators a month’s worth of e-mail correspondence in the summer of 2010 between Bill Newell, then head ATF agent in Phoenix, and his friend Kevin O’Reilly, a former White House national-security staffer for North American affairs. Demanding answers: Rep. Darell Issa is asking for a special prosecutor for Fast & Furious.

Why a gunrunning scandal codenamed “Fast and Furious,” a program run secretly by the U.S. government that sent thousands of firearms over an international border and directly into the hands of criminals, hasn’t been pursued by an army of reporters all trying to be the next Bob Woodward or Carl Bernstein is a story in itself.

But the state of modern journalism aside, this scandal is so inflammatory few realize that official records show the current director of the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF), B. Todd Jones — yes the individual the Obama administration brought in to replace ATF Director Kenneth Melson Aug. 30 in an effort to deflect congressional criticism — also has questions to answer about his involvement in this gunrunning scandal.

Fast and Furious was an operation so cloak-and-dagger Mexican authorities weren’t even notified that thousands of semi-automatic firearms were being sold to people in Arizona thought to have links to Mexican drug cartels. According to ATF whistleblowers, in 2009 the U.S. government began instructing gun storeowners to break the law by selling firearms to suspected criminals. ATF agents then, again according to testimony by ATF agents turned whistleblowers, were ordered not to intercept the smugglers but rather to let the guns “walk” across the U.S.-Mexican border and into the hands of Mexican drug-trafficking organizations.

When the Gunrunning Program Began

A Jan. 8, 2010 briefing paper from the ATF Phoenix Field Division Group VII says: “This investigation has currently identified more than 20 individual connected straw purchasers…. To date (September 2009-present) this group has purchased in excess of 650 firearms (mainly AK-47 variants) for which they have paid cash totaling more than $350,000.”

This is an important fact because the U.S. Justice Department hasn’t made it clear to tell congressional investigators when the Fast and Furious operation began and who authorized it; as a result, this ATF briefing paper’s mention of September 2009 is thus far the earliest we can trace the operation.

The next important event we know of occurred in October 2009 when the ATF’s Phoenix Field Division established a gun-trafficking group called “Group VII.” Group VII began using the strategy of allowing suspects to walk away with illegally purchased guns, according to a report from the U.S. House Oversight and Government Reform Committee and the staff of Sen. Charles Grassley (R-Iowa), ranking member of the U.S. Senate Judiciary Committee. The report says, “The purpose was to wait and watch, in hope that law enforcement could identify other members of a trafficking network and build a large, complex conspiracy case…. Group VII initially began using the new gunwalking tactics in one of its investigations to further the Department’s strategy. The case was soon renamed ‘Operation Fast and Furious.’”

This report and later official explanations from the ATF say the Fast and Furious program was created to deal with the problem that arresting low-level suspects doesn’t necessarily help ATF agents get to the heads of Mexican cartels.

On Oct. 26, 2009, a month or so after Fast and Furious seems to have been initiated, a document shows that a teleconference was held between 13 officials. One of the issues discussed was the possible “adoption of the Department’s strategy for Combating Mexican Drug Cartels.” The officials listed to have been in on the call included Kenneth Melson, who was then the director of the ATF, Robert Mueller, the director of the FBI and a number of attorneys with the U.S. Department of Justice. B. Todd Jones, the current director of the ATF, was not listed in the document, but the title he held in September 2009 is listed as being in on the conference call. It doesn’t take much reporting to find out that in September 2009 Jones was the chair of the Attorney General’s Advisory Committee (AGAC) and so was at least supposed to be in on the conference call. (When asked about the teleconference, an ATF spokeswoman told us “we don’t discuss active investigations.”)

The joke goes that anything named “Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms” ought to be a convenience store instead of an arm of the federal government, but what’s going on in Washington these days with the embattled agency is no laughing matter. Hardly a week passes now without some revelation about the Obama administration’s complicity in what may yet turn out to be one of the worst and most lethal scandals in American history: Operation Fast and Furious. In a classic Friday document dump -- a sure sign of an administration with something to hide -- the feds released to congressional investigators… and Gunwalker is Furiously Runraveling but may soon be joined by others…

The question is really how long the American people intend to be blind… Fast and Furious, Solyndra, LightSquared and now another $5 Billion in Solar Energy Loans that could include more crony capitalism to Nancy Pelosi’s Brother-in-law, after the F&F, Solyndra and LightSquared had already broken and were under investigation.

The ongoing investigations are showing that these bad judgments, scandals, conspiracies, or whatever you want to call them lead to the DOJ and the White House… and very likely all the way to the top…

While clear-thinking Americans can agree that Obama and Holder’s Justice Department made a fatal error in instituting “Operation Fast and Furious,” whereby thousands of weapons were knowingly placed in the hands of straw buyers who illegally crossed our southern border, few are asking why such a dangerous program was created.

There was a definite agenda and we need to go back to 2009, shortly after Obama was sworn in as President, to understand its origin.

At the start of the Obama regime, Obama and Hillary Clinton publicized that 90% of the guns used in crimes committed in Mexico came from the U.S. By April of 2009, FOX News had investigated this assertion and proved it was false. Only 17% – not 90% – of the weapons confiscated in Mexico were U.S. weapons.

Mainstream media did not report that Obama and Clinton’s claims were false and, instead, perpetuated the lie and the Obama administration moved forward with Operation Fast and Furious to make the lie a reality. To date, Obama has not been held to account for the false information he and his administration thrust forward for public consumption in 2009 and by the end of this article, you will see how this fits into a larger agenda with a purposeful outcome.

The Obama administration instituted their “bottom up” program – Fast and Furious. Their plan, aptly named, was designed to quickly and deliberately put as many U.S. weapons as possible into the hands of straw buyers who would bring them across the border into Mexico and into the hands of the drug cartels. This would ensure that when those weapons were retrieved and counted by Mexico’s law enforcement units, the numbers would then show a larger percentage of weapons coming from the U.S.

Congressman Darrell Issa (R-CA) has held congressional hearings on Fast and Furious and released redacted emails which described the following (emphasis added), as reported by Jordy Yager at The Hill:

“In one of the emails, released by Rep. Darrell Issa (R-Calif.), with the subject heading “Director’s questions,” the supervisor of the “Fast and Furious” operation wrote to the assistant special agent in charge of Phoenix field operations with an Internet Protocol address for one of the video monitoring units in a gun store which was authorized to sell guns to the suspects.

The emails seem to indicate that ATF acting director Kenneth Melson had asked for this information. “With this information, acting Director Melson was able to sit at his desk in Washington and – himself – watch a live feed of the straw buyers entering the gun stores to purchase dozens of AK-47 variants,” said a Republican committee statement…

In another email dated March 10, 2010, the assistant special agent in charge of the Phoenix field operations wrote to the supervisor of the “Fast and Furious” operation and said, “Not sure if you know, but Mr. Melson and Mr. Hoover are being briefed weekly on this investigation and the recent success with [redacted] so they are both keenly interested in case updates.”

Prior to release of the emails, ATF’s letters to legislators denied that they were selling these weapons to straw buyers and in fact they “made every effort to prevent weapons from ending up in Mexico.”

However, the truth is documented (emphasis added) by Dave Workman at The Examiner, who has been reporting on this story for over four months since David Codrea (National Gun Rights Examiner) and Mike Vanderboegh (independent blogger) first uncovered the program:

“Operation Fast and Furious was an off-shoot of the larger Project Gunrunner, conducted by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives. This controversial operation allowed an estimated 2,000-2,500 guns to “walk” into Mexico as ATF field agents were repeatedly ordered to “stand down” by their supervisors.”

“ATF agents have shared chilling accounts of being ordered to stand down as criminals in Arizona walked away with guns headed for Mexican drug cartels. With the clinical precision of a lab experiment, the Justice Department kept records of weapons they let walk and the crime scenes where they next appeared. To agents’ shock, preventing loss of life was not the primary concern.” — Congressman Darrell Issa

“The Issa/Grassley report, The Department of Justice’s Operation Fast and Furious: Accounts of ATF Agents, contains some chilling revelations:

Highlights of the report include:

· The supervisor of Operation Fast and Furious was “jovial, if not giddy, but just delighted about” walked guns showing up at crime scenes in Mexico according to an ATF agent. (p. 37)

· Another ATF agent told the committee about a prediction he made a year ago that “someone was going to die” and that the gunwalking operation would be the subject of a Congressional investigation. (p. 24)

· The shooting of Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords created a “state of panic” within the group conducting the operation as they initially feared a “walked” gun might have been used. (p. 38)

· One Operation Fast and Furious Agent: “I cannot see anyone who has one iota of concern for human life being okay with this …” (p. 27)

· An ATF agent predicted to committee investigators that more deaths will occur as a result of Operation Fast and Furious. (p.39)

· Multiple agents told the committee that continued assertions by Department of Justice Officials that guns were not knowingly “walked” and that the DOJ tried to stop their transport to Mexico are clearly untruthful. (p. 45-50)”

Quick re-cap – Obama, Clinton and Holder deliberately instituted Operation Fast and Furious for the sole purpose of increasing the number of U.S. weapons that “walked” into Mexico. Remember some of the facts:

· ATF agents were repeatedly told to “stand down” as the guns “walked;”

· The supervisor of this operation was “jovial” and “just delighted” when “walked” guns appeared at crime scenes in Mexico;

· No one had “one iota of concern for human life;” and

· “Acting Director Melson was able to sit at his desk in Washington and – himself – watch a live feed of the straw buyers entering the gun stores to purchase dozens of AK-47 variants.”

Why did Obama, Clinton and Holder do this? It’s obvious to even the most casual observer; they did this to further the propaganda they pushed in early 2009 – that the U.S. has a gun problem because “90%” of the confiscated weapons in Mexico are coming from the U.S. – in order to justify more aggressive restrictions on gun ownership in the U.S.

Keep in mind that when the operation was created in 2009, the Obama administration had not anticipated that it would be exposed. The Democrats had a majority in both the House and Senate and any investigation would have had to have been brought forward by their own party – which Obama, Clinton and Holder knew would not happen. But there were several things they didn’t anticipate:

· Agent Brian Terry’s murder whereby two of the weapons found at the scene were tracked to straw purchasers who bought the weapons under ATF’s supervision via Operation Fast and Furious.

· David Codrea and Mike Vanderboegh’s discovery of this operation.

· Democrats’ loss of their majority in the House, with Republicans taking over in January 2011.

· CBS coverage of this operation.

· David Workman’s exceptional and diligent reporting on this operation.

· Darrell Issa’s (R-CA) pursuit of the truth through Congressional Hearings.

Marxists will always tell you that the ends justify the means. Creating the very problem they can claim they’re prepared to solve isn’t a new tactic for Progressives, but this is only part of the story.

Congressman Issa will fail the American people if he stops short and fails to investigate and determine the true purpose of Operation Fast and Furious. To say that it was a dumb program and needs to stop will miss the true agenda behind the creation of the operation in the first place.

While the “bottom up” Operation Fast and Furious continued, so too has Obama’s “top down” operation – the United Nations (UN) Small Arms Treaty.

Did you know that the UN has an Office for Disarmament Affairs? Did you know the Obama administration has been working closely with the UN and firmly supports the UN Small Arms Treaty, which Obama and Clinton fully intend to thrust upon America?

As I reported on April 18, 2011 in the article “THE GLOBALISTS’ TAKEOVER OF AMERICA: Part 3 – WEAKEN MILITARY & CIVILIAN DEFENSE”…

“In addition, the globalists (including Obama and Hillary Clinton) intend to enact the Small Arms Treaty which will restrict gun ownership for American citizens under the UN Office for Disarmament Affairs. Harm our soldiers and disarm our citizens and America is ripe for attack and invasion on our own soil. Couple the Small Arms Treaty with the President’s Executive Order granting international police (INTERPOL) full immunity on American soil, along with the National Civilian Security Force that Obama has been creating, and the clear and present danger to America is obvious.

The danger to America is reinforced by Eric Holder’s DOJ secretly arming Mexico’s drug cartel to put American citizens at greater risk in border-states, and Obama arming radical Islamists in Libya to put American soldiers at greater risk under UN control in Libya.”

If the Obama administration’s agenda isn’t yet clear, despite the facts from emails, testimony, investigations, reports and the links in this article, add the fact that during the Operation Fast and Furious hearings, Mike Lillis at The Hill reported what ensued when ATF Special Agent, Peter Forcelli, stated the following (emphasis added):

“I think perhaps a mandatory minimum one-year sentence might deter an individual from buying a gun,” Forcelli said.

He was responding to a question from Rep. Carolyn Maloney (D-NY), who said the current penalties are so weak that they discourage state prosecutors from pursuing straw-purchase cases. Forcelli agreed the current penalties do little to intimidate straw purchasers.

That brief exchange prompted Issa to intervene.

“We’re not here to talk about proposed gun legislation,” Issa said…

Maloney defended her line of questioning, saying she was “trying to figure out why … prosecutors often decline these gun cases.”

Rep. Elijah Cummings (Md.), the senior Democrat on the oversight panel, also questioned Issa’s authority to mute Forcelli.”

Then Paul Helmke, President of the Brady Campaign to Prevent Gun Violence, reinforced the fact that it’s really about gun control when he said in a statement on Wednesday:

“It’s also critically important that we examine why our gun laws are so weak that they make trafficking so easy in the first place.”

No mention was made by the Democrat representatives or by Paul Helmke that the Obama administration is aiding and abetting the transfer of U.S. weapons into Mexico via a program they designed, implemented and oversaw – complete with “acting Director Melson who was able to sit at his desk in Washington and – himself – watch a live feed of the straw buyers entering the gun stores to purchase dozens of AK-47 variants,” and “ATF field agents were repeatedly ordered to “stand down” by their supervisors.”

The agenda behind Operation Fast and Furious is only one piece of a larger operation to diminish and ultimately extinguish the 2nd Amendment rights of law-abiding Americans. The 2nd Amendment, as ratified by the States, reads:

A well regulated militia being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the People to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed.

DOJ Deflects Gunrunner, Fast and Furious Blame to Local Officials… Yet the Leaking Facts Show the Opposite!

President Obama’s Justice Department is trying to deflect responsibility over decisions in the Project Gunrunner and Operation Fast and Furious investigations, which are being spearheaded by House Oversight Committee Chairman Rep. Darrell Issa, California Republican, and Sen. Chuck Grassley, Iowa Republican. Last Wednesday, Issa released new Project Gunrunner documents,including an approved wiretap application bearing Assistant Attorney General Lanny Breuer’s name. Though Breuer didn’t sign it, his Deputy Assistant Attorney General (DAAG), Kenneth Blanc, did.

Now the DOJ says Blanc’s signature and Breuer’s name doesn’t imply any federal-level responsibility. Justice Department spokeswoman Tracy Schmaler told The Daily Caller that the Obama administration’s DOJ officials routinely approve thousands of wiretap applications without knowing the specifics of the cases they’re signing off on.

“The review process for wiretap applications is a narrow assessment of whether a legal basis exists to support a surveillance request that ultimately goes before a judge for decision,” Schmaler said in an email. “These reviews are not approval of the underlying investigations or operations.”

House Oversight Committee spokesman Frederick Hill told TheDC he thinks it’s disturbing that the DOJ is routinely approving wiretap applications like this one. “The assertion that the Justice Department has a robo-signing process for wiretap applications is a deeply troubling defense,” Hill said in an email. “Applications for wiretaps generally include detailed descriptions of law enforcement activities, sworn statements and explanations for why invasive wiretaps are crucial to an investigation. Claiming ignorance on an operation where wiretaps were approved by high level officials raises even more concerns about irresponsible and reckless decisions by Justice officials that contributed to the deaths of two federal agents.”

Former federal prosecutor and Foundation for the Defense of Democracies Center for Law and Counterterrorism co-chair Andrew McCarthy told TheDC Schmaler is right in that Justice Department officials don’t have time to review facts and details of every wiretap application they sign. But, McCarthy said, that doesn’t absolve top officials of responsibility when something goes awry.

“Nobody would expect the Deputy Attorney General to know the details like the prosecutor on the case, but if your name is on something and it’s a screw-up, you’re going to end up being responsible for it not in the sense that anyone expects you to know all the facts, but if you’ve been relying on someone who isn’t doing a good job to vet these things, then that is your responsibility,” McCarthy said. “The reason that Congress put this requirement in the statute is because they wanted Justice Department oversight on the district offices because wiretaps are so invasive.”

Schmaler said the applications still have to go before a judge for final approval. But, Schmaler shifts any DOJ responsibility down the chain to local officials, even though Obama’s politically appointed U.S. attorney Dennis Burke, who oversees the U.S. Attorney’s Arizona District, has made decisions on the gun “walking” programs, along with several local officials. “As the department has stated, the Fast and Furious operation was approved by the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of Arizona and the ATF Phoenix Field Office,” Schmaler told TheDC. “The investigation was subsequently approved by the multi-agency Organized Crime and Drug Enforcement Task Force (OCDETF) Program.”

The approved wiretap application bearing Breuer’s name and Blanc’s signature was one of three documents Issa released Wednesday. It’s a part of investigations he and Grassley conducting on the Project Gunrunner and Operation Fast and Furious programs from the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF). Through Project Gunrunner and Operation Fast and Furious, ATF essentially allowed American guns to be “walked,” or trafficked via “straw purchasers,” into Mexico. The guns then ended up in the hands of Mexican drug cartels and, apparently, the programs’ ultimate goal was to track the larger weapons trafficking market.

Another twist in the storyline is that two dead Border Patrol agents were likely shot with weapons ATF allowed into Mexican drug cartels’ hands. Justice officials were tracking two AK47s found at the scene of Border Patrol agent Brian Terry’s death. Federal officials charged three Mexican nationals with Terry’s murder late last week, but Issa said the good news doesn’t lift Attorney General Eric Holder and the rest of the DOJ off the hook.

“The Justice Department hasn’t said how and why guns purportedly being tracked and monitored by federal law enforcement officials as part of Operation Fast and Furious ended up in the hands of Agent Terry’s killers,” Issa said in a statement. “It angers me to think that this death might not have occurred had it not been for reckless decisions made by officials at the Department of Justice who authorized and supported an operation that knowingly put guns in the hands of criminals. For these officials to imagine that this operation would result in anything other than a tragic outcome was naive and negligent.”
