They are constantly provoked and attacked, yet despite having a heavy nuclear arsenal they have not yet launched a single one. If that wasn't enough- in the Bible, God promises His wrath on those who turn against Israel. We should be standing with them- but at least so far, we have chosen to remain silent. And then there is the matter of Israel and the Jewish vote. While having little impact in terms of numerical votes, American Jews' continued monetary support of Obama makes explaining the irrationality of that voting bloc extremely difficult. While Israel was not a voting issue for the majority of American Jews in 2008, it may very well become one in 2012 -- and not necessarily because American Jews have suddenly woken up to the fact that the existential threat to Israel is increasing daily under Obama. I believe that Jews overwhelmingly supported Obama in 2008 due to their willful ignorance and lack of interest in his predictable contempt for Israel. Since that time however, Soros-led initiatives such as J Street have led to many American Jews, who have not taken the time to investigate these organizations' missions, to grow contemptuous of Israel and supportive of the least Israel-friendly President since the creation of the Jewish nation.
American Jews are not only living on the left side of lala land, they are blinded by their progressive passions. How else can one explain supporting a President who has spent the better part of the past two and a half years weakening the only Mideast democracy and US ally, the world's only Jewish nation, and a beacon of hope and freedom that welcomes people of all faiths, especially Jews. How else to explain a rabbi who stands before a congregation of thousands and calls Israel "an occupying entity," 900 rabbis who say amen as Obama explains that "We are God's partners in matters of life and death" and orders them to sell his socialist policies to the nation, and hundreds of rabbis who ran a Wall Street Journal ad criticizing Glenn Beck and FoxNews notwithstanding that both clearly stand with Israel.
Just as Richard Goldstone allowed the UN Human Rights Commission to use his name and status as a Jew to demonize Israel in the Goldstone Report, the American Jewish community has allowed Obama to turn them into a bunch of useful idiots. Is Howard Dean losing his mind? (Seriously) - Howard Dean is either completely cool with lying or he is suffering from a horrific, degenerative disease. At a recent speaking engagement Dean went on a truly remarkable rant that was completely detached from reality. In it he claimed that the Tea Parties were employing the same violent tactics as 1960 radicals who were 'blowing up' buildings, that Fox News lies (while MSNBC is bastion of truth), and the Dean Scream speech was merely a political attack piece specially edited by Fox News. To paraphrase John Adams… We have given you Republic… the best form of government, if you can keep it. And in order to keep it they gave us 3-separate of independent branches of government to work as a check and balance system on each other, a free press to act as the fourth check and a bill of rights that included freedom of speech and religion… based on the premise that God and the Judeo-Christian beliefs needed to be at the center of our system free from government control, not as it is taught and misinterpreted by the left today, where we have taken God out of the equation and distorted all that was good about our system and put there by the Founding Fathers. And Thomas Jefferson was very clear in many statements that for our system to survive there must be and educated and involved citizenry. The left had done its best to dumb us down, distract us and re-write the greatest document ever… the American Constitution!
We either wake up and stand up for what we know is right, re-learn our true history and stop letting the left use political correctness, our own Constitution, misinterpreted laws and re-written history against us… or lose it all. And after they have destroyed the first round of enemies and targets the co-op of friends of my friends… even if they are enemies, will then start turning on and destroying each other. We are very close to the point of no return of losing the freest nation on earth and greatest beacon of hope for the average man forever. Do you really want to be the generation credited with that?
