Washington Post Quickly Redacting Sensational But Untrue Romney Story

Seems obviously Obama Controlled newspaper Washington Post created an untrue story about Romney and bullying that never happened just in time for Team Obama to use it (to vilify Romney) as part of the Obama’s calculated announcement of Obama’s personal support of gay marriage.  This 17-page fabricated story by the Washington Post should be a good warning of what we are in for this upcoming election season.  Team Obama and their government controlled media minions obviously will say and do anything to make their point regardless of the truth.  This should worry anyone and everyone who loves America and respects the Constitution and values any type of  decency.

When we get to the point that the press cannot be trusted to do their job, tell the and are controlled by the government, the loss of freedom is right around the corner!  The only way to correct that is to cancel your subscription and stop buying and reading the papers, magazines, or watching the news programs who do and have lied.  The Washington Post (as well as Team Obama) has just proved again that they can’t be trusted or believed.  How about a few of these news sources start by honestly vetting the President, which they didn’t do in 2008.

Whoa: Family of Romney’s Alleged Bullying “Victim” Says Story Inaccurate, They’re Disgusted by WaPo

Ashley Parker of the New York Times has a statement from the family of John Lauber, the man the Washington Post claimed Mitt Romney bullied in high school. She tweets:

From John Lauber’s family, the bullied victim in WaPo story: “We are aggrieved that John would be used to further a political agenda.”

Also from John Lauber’s family: “The portrayal of John is factually incorrect,” but they would not elaborate on how it was inaccurate.

This comes after one source for the story, a man the Washington Post says has “long been bothered” by the incident, said he wasn’t even present and had no idea it had happened until the Post contacted him.

It’s increasingly clear that the Washington Post either misreported or simply lied about the story in an attempt to hurt the Romney campaign. Someone needs to be held accountable by the newspaper.

Meanwhile, the Washington Post is quietly airbrushing passages in the story.

Remember when Gov. Rick Perry of Texas was looking like a viable candidate?

Oh God, please don't remind me...I'm almost over it....

Yeah, sorry about this Rick, but it's gotta be done. Just as Perry was getting his campaign moving the Washington Post decided this would be a perfect time to dredge up some useless fact from decades in the past about a piece of land the Perry family leased to hunt on that had this big rock with a racial slur painted on it.

The MSM spent over a week flogging the story to death from coast to coast despite the fact that if you looked at the details you would notice:

1. The Perry family only leased a part of the land, they did not own it, it did not belong to them.

2. They did not paint the offensive slur on the rock.

3. The rock was painted over long ago.

But this apparently was the only way the MSM could tie 'Rick Perry' and the word 'N***r' together in the same sentence and hey, you have to work with what you get. So we got days 'n days of outrageous OUTRAGE!!! over this LAND THAT THE PERRY FAMILY OWNED where they had PAINTED THIS TERRIBLE WORD n stuff!

Today the Washington Post thought it would be a great idea to look back into Mitt Romney's school days way back in 1965 at some pranks he did as a kid.

It’s not as if Newt couldn’t have known his past comments were going to eventually be called into question. He’s capably navigated his way through his big government tendencies so far and miraculously still has solid support in the Tea Party. Will the latest damaging clip have any impact? Gingrich is caught praising his favorite president of the 20th century: FDR. Yup, he picked the mother of all progressives ahead of Ronald Reagan.

“This goes back to what Newt Gingrich said on this program. You got to get things done. That’s akin to saying we all love the Constitution but there are things we got to do,” Glenn warned.

“FDR did get things done, and then they were ruled unconstitutional,” Stu joked.

But that’s not the worst thing – on the clip at the top of the page Glenn reads a story where Gingrich praised SEIU’s Andy Stern in one of his books.

In his book “Real Chance: From the World That Fails to the World That Works,” Gingrich praises the SEIU head, who remains a close adviser of the President Obama. Pitching the need for conservatives to respect organized labor, while simultaneously pushing back against some of
Labor’s more cherished legislative goals, he wrote the following:

” Conservatives cannot cheer unions overseas and then be blindly anti-union here at home. There are legitimate historic reasons for workers to organize together, and there is a strong need for a healthy, competitive, union, movement that helps improve the lives of its members and the competitiveness of our country.

world market and the need to make American union members productive in the face of world competition. Sadly, he is a distinct minority among

“So he loves Andy Stern,” Glenn said. “If he can’t figure it of Stern is a Socialist communist dirt bag then he shouldn’t be the leader of the free world.”

And he admits to be a fan of Woodrow Wilson!

Nobody that loves, emulates, or admires FDR, Woodrow Wilson and Andy Stern is a true conservative… for those 2-men are all Progressives… Progressive heroes. (These men are the heroes and friends of Obama and his czars).  And someone with 3-wives, two divorces, a long history of affairs and a tendency for grandiosity (Newt has also compared himself or Pericles, Abraham Lincoln, Moses, and  a Viking) even if he has changed, beats Rick Santorum or Mitt Romney as social conservatives.  Ron Paul, Mitt Romney and Rick Santorum have been model husbands and fathers.

One must ask… what happened to value voters and the tea party?  Is it all really only talk?

While in Congress Newt supported GATT, NAFTA, WTO, has done a commercial with Progressive Princess Nancy Pelosi supporting global warming legislation, and although it will take some compromise to deal with 11 million (more like 22 million) illegal aliens living the United States, after securing our borders Newt’s stated plan is leaning pretty far into the Amnesty Arena.

This maybe the most important election of our lives if not in America’s history.  We must, as people vet each candidate running in the primaries and general election from both parties, and that includes Barack Hussein Obama, who was never vetted before the the 2008 Election and was promoted and favored by the mainstream media without that vetting. So with all the questions, it needs to be done this time around.

Yesterday was the one year anniversary of the failed stimulus. Only 6% of all Americans believe that the Stimulus Bill did anything to create or save jobs, while 7% believe that Elvis is still alive. Think about it~

OBAMA GOES TOO FAR AND FALLS TOO SHORT

Obama's 'plan' appears to be working. Of course, it's not the plan of which he speaks - healthcare for everyone, clean energy, jobs-jobs-jobs (that 3 letter word) and, let's not forget, world peace. No, it's his plan to destroy the America we all know and love, while in the process blaming George W. Bush. The problem is, or not, it appears to be blowing up in his face. This on the one year anniversary of his failed stimulus, for which he is doubling down.
Obama's popularity has gone through the floorboards, and his congress is jumping ship, seeing the writing on the wall. Bi-partisan conflict has nothing to do with his problems, when he has a majority in both Houses. Big corporations such as ConocoPhillips, BP, and Caterpillar have also jumped ship by quiting the Climate Group because the big lie is now public knowledge. Obama loves to bash, and is probably the most negative person ever to hold the powerful office of United States President. Polls apart from a loving and gracious President Ronald Reagan.

One of my favorite quotes about politics comes from Henry Kissinger in his book Years of Upheaval, his memoir of the Ford Presidency:

"A statesman's duty is to bridge the gap between his vision and his nation's experience. If his vision gets too far out ahead of his nation's experience, he will lose his mandate. But if he hues too close to the conventional, he will lose control over events."
Now, at once, we see both happening to President Obama.

His health care proposals obviously ran afoul of the first of Kissinger's warnings. By pushing for changes that conflicted with America's values, common sense, and experience, he lost his mandate. In that disastrous push for an elusive goal, he ruined his own presidency and his party. It may take decades for the Democratic Party to recover from his folly. Indeed, his push for health legislation, in the face of rapidly eroding public support, ranks with the War in Vietnam, Watergate, and, of course, Clinton's health care initiatives as the most costly to their respective political parties.

But now, as he faces threats from Iran, domestic terrorism, continually high unemployment, and the swollen deficit, he is also violating the second half of the Kissinger warning - his politics are too passive and too conventional and, as a result, losing control over events.

In the phase of presidential dithering in the aftermath of the Brown victory in Massachusetts, there is no clear presidential message, no coherent strategy and, even, no identifiable program. His budget cuts are far too tepid. His tax program nothing new. Obama's stimulus 2 package seems like the same old, same old.

His short lived bounce from the State of the Union speech is indicative of how limited a vision he has these days. It lasted a week and was never more than three points at its apogee.

And, as Kissinger would have predicted, he is losing control over events. Senator Evan Bayh's retirement, with its implied blast at Obama's policies, the increasing recklessness of Iran, and the seemingly intractable unemployment all provide evidence that President Obama is no longer dictating the national agenda.

As a result, the negatives he incurred by moving too far out ahead of the nation's experience are combining with those he is getting for being too conventional. He is experiencing both ends of the Kissinger prediction. Republicans and Independents are still in shock from his headlong rush into socialism while Democrats are increasingly restive and disillusioned by his failure to lead.
And...the entire country is worried at his passivity in the face of domestic terror threats and the rapidly growing Iranian momentum toward the acquisition of nuclear weapons.

While his job rating has remained relatively stead in recent months, hovering just below 50% of likely voters, his ratings in specific areas - like holding down spending, cutting the deficit, creating jobs, and managing the economy -- are all eroding, presaging further drops in his overall ratings.

Seemingly paralyzed by adversity, President Obama and his advisors are showing a lack of resilience in the face of reversals that is perhaps the inevitable outcome of his smooth rise to the top in 2008. Never tried by bad outcomes (as Hillary has doubtless been), he and they seem unable to regain momentum and appear to be just flailing without strategic or even tactical direction.

All this might be what happens when you elect a State Senator whose US Senate career was consumed with his presidential campaign as president.
