Alinsky Alive and Well in the White House

Obama Jokes About Eating Dogs, Romneys Money, and His secret agenda | Obama WHCD Speech

Every year the Correspondents Dinner is held in Washington D.C. and the President is supposed to display his entertaining side as well as a major comedian is asked to more or less host and either make or break his or her career.  Last night it was Jimmy Kimmel.

It’s not often that we get to see the most powerful man in the world tell jokes about eating dogs, craving cigarettes and imposing his rumored “radical socialist agenda” on the country. And yet, last night in Washington, D.C., we were treated to just that. Wait, let’s not forget the toilet flush. Did we really need to envision the president sitting on the toilet, seconds before he was to address the White House Press Corps?

See: Top Jokes From Obama’s Stand-Up Routine on the Blaze

“Saturday night‘s White House Correspondents’ Dinner was well-attended — most of the familiar faces that endure the daily press briefings and follow the president around the country put on their formal attire and squeezed into a packed Hilton ballroom to watch Barack Obama open the show for Jimmy Kimmel. There were also a healthy number of famous faces from the showbiz world: Big money Obama donors George Clooney and Steven Spielberg were there, along with Kim Kardashian, Lindsay Lohan, and members of the cast of ‘Glee’.”

As Kimmel said: “Everything (everyone) that is wrong with America!

The Obama portion of the presentation lasted 17:36 and featured the president making jokes on topics including:

    • Where he was born (this one starts at 3:20, and he actually winked after saying, “And I, of course, was born in Hawaii.”)
    • Eating dogs (several jokes on this topic – the biggest flop starts at the 8:35 mark of the video and has almost 30 seconds of uncomfortable reactions) – “The Difference Between a Hockey Mom and a Pit Bull? A Pit Bull is Delicious”
    • His rumored, radical, second term agenda
    • Mitt Romney’s wealth, two Harvard degrees, and lack of hipness
    • Hillary Clinton’s beer drinking in Colombia (“she won’t stop drunk texting me from Cartagena.”)
    • Celebrity attendees like Kim Kardashian and the cast of Glee

President Obama‘s presentation started with a little sketch that poked fun at his recent ’hot mic‘ episode with Russia’s Dmitry Medvedev by having the audience believe that we were listening to the leader of the free world complaining about having to be at this dinner, while sitting on a toilet. That portion ended with a flush and Obama craving a cigarette.

I watched it twice on TV with twitter up reading the comments of people live tweeting.  At least the people in my circle found it to be pretty and tasteless (on both sides), but Kimmel deserves some kudos for his ‘If You Don’t Have Any Guns, You Can Ask Eric Holder to Get Some for You’: Jimmy Kimmel’s Full Routine as well as his attack on Jay Carney for knowing 3-Hillary Rosens.

If You Dont Have Any Guns, You Can Ask Eric Holder to Get Some for You: Jimmy Kimmels Full Routine

But my take is that Obama played it cool and delivered a perfect Saul Alinsky Speech. If you are concerned about America and want to help turn things around or if you are politically clueless and want to get a better handle of what is going on, if you haven’t already, you need to read Saul Alinsky’s Rules for Radicals plus understand the Cloward and Piven strategy, both major parts of Obama’s playbook.  Mix in a little George Soros string pulling and you are headed in the right direction.  Then do a little reading and digging into who BHO’s family and friends are and who he is connected to and everything will look different!

I think Alinsky would have been proud!

"Obama learned his lesson well. I am proud to see that my father's model for organizing is being applied successfully beyond local community organizing to affect the Democratic campaign in 2008. It is a fine tribute to Saul Alinsky as we approach his 100th birthday." --Letter from L. DAVID ALINSKY, son of Neo-Marxist Saul Alinsky

Obama helped fund 'Alinsky Academy': "The Woods Fund, a nonprofit on which Obama served as paid director from 1999 to December 2002, provided startup funding and later capital to the Midwest Academy.... Obama sat on the Woods Fund board alongside William Ayers, founder of the Weather Underground domestic terrorist organization.... 'Midwest describes itself as 'one of the nation's oldest and best-known schools for community organizations, citizen organizations and individuals committed to progressive social change.'... Midwest teaches Alinsky tactics of community organizing."

Hillary, Obama and the Cult of Alinsky: "True revolutionaries do not flaunt their radicalism, Alinsky taught. They cut their hair, put on suits and infiltrate the system from within. Alinsky viewed revolution as a slow, patient process. The trick was to penetrate existing institutions such as churches, unions and political parties.... Many leftists view Hillary as a sell-out because she claims to hold moderate views on some issues. However, Hillary is simply following Alinsky’s counsel to do and say whatever it takes to gain power.

"Obama is also an Alinskyite.... Obama spent years teaching workshops on the Alinsky method. In 1985 he began a four-year stint as a community organizer in Chicago, working for an Alinskyite group called the Developing Communities Project.... Camouflage is key to Alinsky-style organizing.

While trying to build coalitions of black churches in Chicago, Obama caught flak for not attending church himself. He became an instant churchgoer." (By Richard Poe, 11-27-07)

The Alinsky Tactics (and of course they can be combined) from the Progressive Bible Rules for Radicals:

"Tactics are those conscious deliberate acts by which human beings live with each other and deal with the world around them. ... Here our concern is with the tactic of taking; how the Have-Nots can take power away from the Haves." p.126

Always remember the first rule of power tactics (pps.127-134):

1. "Power is not only what you have, but what the enemy thinks you have."

2. "Never go outside the expertise of your people. When an action or tactic is outside the experience of the people, the result is confusion, fear and retreat.... [and] the collapse of communication.

3. "Whenever possible, go outside the expertise of the enemy. Look for ways to increase insecurity, anxiety and uncertainty. (This happens all the time. Watch how many organizations under attack are blind-sided by seemingly irrelevant arguments that they are then forced to address.)

4. "Make the enemy live up to its own book of rules. You can kill them with this, for they can no more obey their own rules than the Christian church can live up to Christianity."

5. "Ridicule is man's most potent weapon. It is almost impossible to counteract ridicule. Also it infuriates the opposition, which then reacts to your advantage."

6. "A good tactic is one your people enjoy."

7. "A tactic that drags on too long becomes a drag. Man can sustain militant interest in any issue for only a limited time...."

8. "Keep the pressure on, with different tactics and actions, and utilize all events of the period for your purpose."

9. "The threat is usually more terrifying than the thing itself."

10. "The major premise for tactics is the development of operations that will maintain a constant pressure upon the opposition. It is this unceasing pressure that results in the reactions from the opposition that are essential for the success of the campaign."

11. "If you push a negative hard and deep enough, it will break through into its counterside... every positive has its negative."

12. "The price of a successful attack is a constructive alternative."

13. Pick the target, freeze it, personalize it, and polarize it. In conflict tactics there are certain rules that [should be regarded] as universalities. One is that the opposition must be singled out as the target and 'frozen.'...

I think Alinsky would have been proud of Obama’s Correspondence Dinner speech… of his whole presidency.

President Obama used Alinsky’s Tactic #5 "Ridicule is man's most potent weapon. It is almost impossible to counteract ridicule. Also it infuriates the opposition, which then reacts to your advantage.", to perfection.

He took everything that his opponents: the right in general, patriots, the GOP, people paying attention, etc. are fighting, bringing to the forefront and trying to educate the American people on and ridiculed them by ridiculing each point one by one through making it a joke… thereby making it look silly to the uninformed that anyone would question something that was so trivial that the President himself would make fun of.

Obama belittled the topics of eligibility; the hot mic incident where he essentially told the Russians to wait until he was re-elected and would have unbridled power to do what he wants; made light of eating dogs; threw in his digs at Romney for being rich and an elitist, at Gingrich for losing the GOP Primary and Hillary for drinking and partying in Cartagena; high-fived all his Hollywood celebrity friends; and basically told us to hang onto our hats for a radical second term… including reinstating ObamaCare if it was struck down and that it would be raining men during his next term (interpreted by most in the know as paratroopers and other military, including UN troops, on American soil).

Obama is the master… he told us in 2008 and wrote in his books all that he was planning to do but most of America wasn’t listening and like with Hitler… nobody read his books. And for those who were paying attention, Barack Hussein Obama’s comedy routine was only funny to those who again have not been paying attention.

The Truth About Occupy Wall Street: FREE, FULL EPISODE: GBTV

Glenn Beck graciously made yesterday's GBTV episode, which gives us the full enchilada, the truth about Occupy Wall Street.

It's pretty self-explanatory, so here it is:

FREE, FULL EPISODE: GBTV: The Truth About Occupy Wall Street Discussion Link

Barack Obama Led #OccupyChicago – Circa 1988

Obama at anti-war protest, 2002 (Source: Verum Serum)

Just twenty or so years ago, Barack Obama wouldn’t just have supported the Occupy protests.

He would have organized them.

From Stanley Kurtz’s essential Radical-in-Chief: Barack Obama and the Untold Story of American Socialism, pp. 117-8:

In fact, Obama personally helped plan one of UNO’s most confrontational actions of the eighties [in 1988]: a break-in meant to intimidate a coalition of local business and neighborhood leaders into dropping a landfill expansion deal.

We know of Obama’s involvement in this demonstration only because his supporters in 2008 felt it necessary to rebut charges that, contrary to his claims of inter-racial healing, he had organized exclusively with blacks. Only then did Obama’s former colleagues from UNO [United Neighborhood Organization, a largely Mexican group] of Chicago reveal that he had helped to plan and lead this multi-ethnic demonstration against landfill expansion on Chicago’s South Side.

…Shouting “No deals!” somewhere between eighty and a hundred UNO-DCP [Developing Communities Project, a black group organized by Obama] marched to a local bank. There they broke into a meeting being conducted by the bank president and local community leaders. The group was exploring the possibility of a deal with Waste Management. The protestors, presumably including Obama, surrounded the meeting table while [Mary-Ellen] Montes [of UNO] told the negotiators, “We will fight you every step of the way.”

Obama was also likely involved with other aggressive UNO protests, including protests for school reform, through which he likely met former Weather Underground terrorist Bill Ayers. Ayers is involved in the Occupy protests today.

In the 1990s, Obama maintained his ties to radical activists, and “channel[ed] foundation funding to his confrontational Alinskyite colleagues.”

It’s clear that Obama’s ties to the Occupy movement–its forbears, its tactics, and some of its current luminaries–run deep.

This is what “community organizing” looks like.

The Ayers Brothers Connection: Coaching #OccupyChicago, Calling for School ‘Occupations’

Former Weather Underground terrorist leader, and long time colleague of president Barack Obama, Bill Ayers  is actively supporting the Occupy Wall Street movement, in his home town of Chicago – while his education activist brother Rick Ayers wants to see the movement extended to the nation’s schools.

Bill Ayers at OWS

In an October 16 interview with Chicago Sun-Times journalist Laura Washington, Bill Ayers described the” Occupy” movement as a “North American Spring,” akin to the “Arab Spring” still playing out in North Africa and the Middle East.

Said Ayers:

“These kinds of movements expand our consciousness of what’s possible…Every revolution seems impossible at the beginning, and after it happens, it was inevitable.”

Ayers’ support took a more practical form October 19, when the retired UIC professor led a “teach-in” with Occupy Chicago protesters on “ non-violent direct action” at the group’s  HQ (in front of the Federal Reseve Bank at Jackson and LaSalle).

Ayers  detailed the tactics and history of the Civil Rights movement, drawing analogies to the group before him. “You created power where there was none,” the famed agitator said.

Ayers spoke naturally to the crowd of 40, who sat in rapture, registering their approval by lifting silent fingers.

“It’s critical that you maintain your independence,” Ayers told the crowd – warning them not to be  co-opted by labor unions or the Democrats. History, Ayers told the assembled activists, shows his preferred approach to political power. “Martin Luther King didn’t go begging for a meeting with Lyndon Johnson,” Ayers said. “Lyndon Johnson begged for a meeting with Martin Luther King.”

The protesters seem to have already followed Ayers’ advice. The group turned down Mayor Rahm Emanuel’s proposition for a meeting, demanding the misdemeanor charges from last Saturday’s arrest of more than 170 activists be dropped first.

Writing from San Francisco, Bill Ayer’s brother Rick, a Professor in Teacher Education at the University of San Francisco, has called for the “Occupy” movement to reach into America’s schools.

Rick Ayers, an activist in his own right and a long time collaborator with his brother Bill in the Rethinking Schools movement, wants to see the OWS tactics “applied to schools”.

Writing in the Huffington Post, Rick Ayers praised OWS for its militancy:

“Occupy wall Street  is action. We have had talk, talk, talk for years, decades even. The right — the think tanks, big media outlets, politicians, foundations — thunders its dogma on a regular basis. The left – community organizers, unions, educators, activists — refute their arguments, though with a much smaller voice and very few dollars. But it has all just been a conversation.

Now action obliterates the deadlock. Whatever we have been waiting for — Obama, common sense, karma — we realized it was never coming to help us and it is time for action. Action creates facts, and facts are essential — they create possibilities and new words, fresh vocabularies. The silenced majority, the 99%, has finally been pushed so far that it is pushing back. Every movement is improbable until it happens; after the fact it so clearly was inevitable.”

Rick Ayers went on to say:

The same type of bold action could be applied to schools. The privatizers, those who would strip down our schools to being test-prep factories training only for compliance and passivity, have made their case with all the volume that billions of dollars can buy…

But so far it has only been a conversation. It does not matter if we defeat their arguments over and over. They still have the purse strings, the foundations, and the big megaphone. The time has come for action. Take over these schools. Occupy them. Sit in. 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. We built these schools with our taxes, our labor, our commitment to students and communities. They are not just playthings for overfed business dilettantes. Instead of taking marching orders from Wall Street, we need to take these schools and make them institutions of liberation.

With students, community members, and teachers in these buildings, imagine the possibilities. Poetry workshop in one room; free clinic in another; science lab in a third. Food production. Critical pedagogy class. Strategy meetings. A kind of education that embraces deep meaning, knowledge for people’s needs, and participatory democracy. Watch these young people step up. In a liberated space, the bored and resistant students in the back of the room will be transformed. You will see them taking responsibility for their education, demonstrate their desire for ethical action, for sacrifice for the common good, and for a future they can believe in.

Can we do this? At one site? At a hundred? You can be certain that this is a discussion popping up all over the country. This is the kind of action that would trump the endless, and ultimately losing, debate we have been locked in over the past years. We can’t talk our way out of the problems in education. But we can act, together, because another world is possible.”

Is the “Occupy” movement a passing phase that will wither when the first blasts of winter hit Chicago and New York and Milwaukee?  Or is this the beginning  a much more significant, and dangerous period of US history?

The involvement of veteran activists like the Ayers brothers indicates that this is no mere passing explosion of youthful anarchist outrage. The “mature”  left is backing OWS for a reason. They’ve been waiting for this for a long time. They knew it would come. After all, their Marxist creed tells them that revolution is inevitable. Its only a matter of time.

The Obama "Jobs Summit" Who In the White House Has Ever Created a Job?

Tomorrow, the Obama Administration will hold its much-hyped "jobs summit" in Washington, D.C. Plenty of politicians will be there, as well as labor bosses and academics. No doubt, some business representatives have been recruited to attend as well.
Today, in contrast, a very different group of Americans will kick off a series of "Real Jobs Summits" in Cincinnati. Tomorrow, we will be in Jackson, Mississippi.

Instead of politicians who talk deceptively of "saving or creating" jobs, we will have entrepreneurs who have actually created jobs. Instead of so-called "experts" who offer theories, we will have small business people who know the reality of joblessness in America today.

Ask yourself this:

As the Obama Administration convenes with the so-called "experts" in Washington, how many in the White House have actually created a job?

A Jobs Valley, Not a Summit

What the Obama Administration is promoting as a jobs "summit" tomorrow is in fact a jobs valley.

After 10 months and the authorization of $787 billion in government spending, the economic policies of the White House and the Democratic Congress have failed. 15.7 million Americans are out of work, 3.2 million of them since the stimulus was first passed in February. Unemployment, at 10.2 percent, is higher than the President promised it would be if he did nothing. The Obama-Pelosi-Reid economic policies are hurting, not helping.
The stakes are high, and no doubt the White House and the Democratic Congress (as does every American) would love to see the jobs numbers improve. But three fundamental facts of their approach are crippling their effort:

1. Ideology
2. Interest Groups
3. Personnel

Number 1: Ideology. Secular Socialism Has Never Worked to
Create Jobs and It Won't Work Here

The mainstream media roll their eyes and laugh at the term, but the Obama-Pelosi-Reid economic policies are genuinely secular-socialist policies.

Their central purpose is not to create wealth but to redistribute wealth.

The problem is this big government, high taxing, big bureaucracy and politician driven model simply does not work to create jobs. It was the model of the United States in the 1970s and the model of Europe today. It has never worked anywhere to create jobs and wealth, and it won't work here.

A Very Different Ideology: Free Market Capitalism

As the Obama-Pelosi-Reid machine attempts to force its secular-socialist model on Americans in the form of job-killing health, energy, and big labor legislation, American small business people are crying out for a very different set of solutions.

These are the solutions that will take center stage at the American Solutions Real Jobs Summit in Cincinnati today.

They are the solutions of Ronald Reagan and the Contract with America.

Reduced taxes to spur jobs and investment. Controlled government spending to favor entrepreneurs over bureaucrats.

Reduced regulation and litigation to produce jobs and create wealth.

If the goal is more jobs, both history and the opinions of American business people couldn't be more clear: More economic freedom works, more government doesn't.
Number Two: Democratic Interest Groups.

Redistributing Rather Than Creating Wealth

The second fact that cripples the Obama-Pelosi-Reid jobs effort is the liberal special interest groups these politicians are beholden to.

Trial lawyers, labor unions and government employees are redistributors of wealth, not creators of wealth.

When Democratic special interest groups meet, there is practically no one in the room who has created a job.
The American Solutions Real Jobs Summits will work with those who create jobs and wealth to make their jobs easier and their success more likely.

Our interest groups are the engines of our economy - the small business owners and entrepreneurs whose voices aren't being heard in Washington today.

Number Three: The Obama Cabinet.

The Least Private Sector Experience in Over 100 Years
The third reason to doubt that the Obama-Pelosi-Reid economic policies will produce more jobs is succinctly illustrated in this graph.

It shows that the Obama Administration cabinet has far less private sector experience than any administration in over 100 years. A stunning 90 percent of the prior experience of the Obama cabinet is in government, not the private sector.

These are the people America is supposed to listen to in order to create new jobs?

American Solutions, in contrast, is building a Small Business Advisory Council, a network of entrepreneurs with long experience in job creation.

The American Solutions Jobs Here, Jobs Now, Jobs First Solutions
These experienced entrepreneurs have helped us formulate a real plan for real job creation that we can enact right now to create new jobs.

1. Reduce Spending and Reform Government to Achieve a Balanced Budget.

While I was Speaker, federal spending rose by an average of 2.9 percent per year, the lowest increase since the 1920s. We can apply the same principles that worked from 1995 to 1998 to create jobs and four straight balanced budgets through smaller government, less spending, lower interest rates, and less debt.

2. Five Tax Reforms to Reward Job Creation, Entrepreneurship, Savings, and Investment.

a. Immediate Payroll Tax Relief. Allow workers and employers to keep more of their hard earned money through an immediate, two-year, 50 percent reduction of the payroll tax. This step would immediately boost the take home pay of every worker, and dramatically free up cash for every employer to hire and invest. This tax relief could be paid for with unspent TARP and stimulus money.

b. Incentives for Small Business Investment. Allow small businesses to expense 100 percent of new equipment purchases each year to help them invest in new, more productive technologies.

c. Abolish Taxes on Capital Gains. Match the Chinese capital gains rate of zero. Federal Reserve Chairman Alan Greenspan testified in the 1990s that this was the best rate for economic growth.
d. Reduce the Business Tax Rate. America has the second highest business tax rate in the world. We should match the Irish business tax rate of 12.5 percent. Combined with a zero rate of taxation on capital gains, America would become the most desirable country in the world in which to invest and start a business.

e. Abolish the Death Tax. Inheritance is the most powerful accumulator of capital. Studies show that eliminating the death tax would create hundreds of thousands of new jobs.

3. American Energy Plan to Create American Jobs and Keep American Money at Home.

Developing more American energy while protecting the environment would mean the creation of millions of new American jobs and the generation of billions of dollars in new federal tax revenues, largely without the need for any new federal spending. The first steps we need to take are to develop more of America's oil, natural gas, and oil shale resources, expand nuclear power, provide prizes for key energy breakthroughs, and an emphasis on incentives, not taxes, to achieve our energy and environmental goals.

And for more information about the American Solutions Jobs Here, Jobs Now, Jobs First plan, go to AmericanSolutions.com.
Two Visions of Jobs Growth, Two Visions of America
This week will present more than two contrasting visions of how to create new jobs, it will present two contrasting visions of America.

For reasons of ideology, interest groups and personnel, the Obama-Pelosi-Reid vision is one of bigger and more controlling government, but smaller and more anemic private enterprise.
To try to pretend that this model will produce the jobs America desperately needs is to do a grave injustice to the American people.

Americans whose goals are to provide for their families, not perpetuate their political power, know what really works to create jobs.

In Cincinnati today, Jackson, Mississippi, on Thursday, and more cities next year, these Americans will have their voices heard. We hope you'll join us.

Your friend,
Newt Gingrich

In is an interesting thought... a jobs summit put by a group of elitist people who have never worked out side of community organizing or academia and who by most people's standards have never really worked, let alone created jobs or competed in any type of business arena. And they don't invite either the U.S. Chamber of Commerce or the Federation of Independent Business Owners.

A friend sends along the following chart from a J.P. Morgan research report. It examines the prior private sector experience of the cabinet officials since 1900 that one might expect a president to turn to in seeking advice about helping the economy. It includes secretaries of State, Commerce, Treasury, Agriculture, Interior, Labor, Transportation, Energy, and Housing & Urban Development, and excludes Postmaster General, Navy, War, Health, Education & Welfare, Veterans Affairs, and Homeland Security—432 cabinet members in all.

When one considers that public sector employment has ranged since the 1950s at between 15 percent and 19 percent of the population, the makeup of the current cabinet—over 90 percent of its prior experience was in the public sector—is remarkable.

You really wonder, don't you, if they want to end the recession or create jobs at all?!?

The Obama Job Program is probably going to be life the AIG payback

Glenn Beck Says "Two Can Play This Game" at Community Organizing. Horowitz and others give advice.

Did anyone saw Glenn Beck at the Villages? He introduced his Plan for the Tea Party movement. He says, “Two can play this Game”? He suggested we take a page from the Community Organizer's book and do some Community Organization of our own. He had David Horowitz on his TV Program on Nov. 24 to discuss tactics. David Horowitz has added further for us in the Tea Party Movement. I have also included information from other sites that I have collected on the subject of the Left's Tactics. See if anything rings a bell. I know we have some very clever people, - At least their signs show great imagination. I bet we can do something that is still peaceful but effective in Community Organizing ourselves.

Here is some advice on how the Tea Party Movement might become effective at “Community Organizing”.

David Horowitz’s Advice to the Tea Party Movement

2009 November 24
by David Swindle
http://newsrealblog.com/2009/11/24/david-horowitzs-advice-to-the-te...
I received an email yesterday from Carol from California who had just seen David Horowitz's TV appearance on Glenn Beck:
Mr. Horowitz was on Fox today, I believe with Glenn Beck. He and Glenn were talking about WHAT we can do to preserve the Freedoms that this Administration and Congress are working so hard to destroy….and he mentioned the possibility of a ‘die in’ similar to what was done in San Francisco about 20 years ago to draw attention to the AIDS epidemic…

I have thought about this more and more and think it’s a FANTASTIC idea! But maybe instead of just doing this in front of mammography clinics, to have them in front of the offices of U.S. Senators and Congressmen – to show people exactly what this whole “health care reform” is going to do TO us….because most folks with a brain understand quite clearly that this has NOTHING to do with Health Care and EVERYTHING to do with total control over our lives!

I had hoped he’d had at least brief mention of this on Front Page Magazine site, but am unable to do so….any way he can write something like this? I can share with Tea Party Patriots – which would go NATIONAL overnight….I don’t think the Left realizes how far we have already networked…this IS a national movement…..and it is not uncommon for us to receive emails from people in European nations begging us to keep fighting….that America is the “world’s last hope” for freedom….
We need a national leader – tell Mr. Horowitz to be careful – we’re apt to be after him to do that!

I sent a brief, friendly email back and then forwarded Carol’s letter on to Horowitz, who responded to her right away:

Dear Carol,

Thank you for your concern. The future of our country is going to rest on the shoulders of millions of Americans like you. I have written a booklet called Barack Obama’s Rules for Revolution. There’s a digital version on our website but I will send you copies if you send me your mailing address.

Here’s the tactical advice I sent to Glenn before the show:
1. Do the Unexpected. Raise Their Discomfort Level. Put them Off-Balance. Invert the Myth.

All four of these objectives are accomplished by inverting the Myth. The left feeds off the Myth that they are on the side of the Underdog, they are serving the underserved, defending society’s victims, championing the oppressed. And that you are the oppressor. By picking an issue and framing it so that it inverts the myth you accomplish all of the above. E.g., by having a Die-In outside mammogram facilities you dramatize that Obamacare will take a vulnerable group, women, and reduce them to budgetary statistics, and sentence individuals to unnecessary deaths. (Obamacare will do this to everyone, but since women have been portrayed and are perceived as a victim group, this dramatizes the way in which the socialist state is an oppressor.)

2. Make your point in a sound-bite or an image.

3. Provoke the left. Since the left controls the media, the key to getting media attention is to tick off the left. When the left squeals, the media listen. Inverting their Myth is the best way to do this.

4. Pick an issue that exposes the fact that they are the oppressor and you are defending the “oppressed.”
Conservatives are best organized around an issue. The left is a religious movement. They are saving the squirrels, the trans-gendered oppressed, the snail-darters, the planet. What unites them is their belief that America — capitalist America — is the Great Satan. Conservatives are generally already committed to religions in which the savior is not government but a divinity. They are pragmatic and attached to real world things and values. But conservatives can be galvanized into a movement if they perceive a threat to their way of life. Hence during the cold war, the threat of communism organized them around the issue of national security. The threat of Obama is doing the same thing (and Obama is really the same threat that we experienced from communism during the Cold War). Barack Obama and the socialist juggernaut he heads have persuaded conservatives that they are prepared to destroy everything Americans hold dear. So there’s no real problem in organizing conservatives now. Just focus on an issue that crystallizes Americans’ fear and frame it in a way that inverts the Myth and focuses attention on the source of the threat.

The Art of Political War for Tea Parties – by David Horowitz
The Principles

Here are the principles of political war that the left understands but conservatives do not:
1. Politics is war conducted by other means
2. Politics is a war of position
3. In political wars the aggressor usually prevails
4. Position is defined by fear and hope
5. The weapons of politics are symbols evoking fear and hope
6. Victory lies on the side of the people

Here are the principles explained:

The picture above shows Milada Horakova, a really dangerous-looking elderly lady who was a Czech dissident put to death after a Soviet show trial simply for disagreeing.

This is just a short observation on the White House’s campaign against the citizens’ anger expressed at Town Halls this month about Obama-care. Many have pointed out in the last 48 hours that this is a page right out of the Saul Alinsky ‘community organizing’ book: attack, mock and marginalize those who might stand in your way. That’s true enough. But its similarity to another Marxist tradition rang a bell with me.

In the Soviet Union, they used to have ‘show trials’. The victim was already doomed to death or gulag. The purpose was propaganda. In virtually all cases there was no truth whatsoever to the allegations, but Marxism is never about truth, it is about power. What was truly ironic about all this was that the secret state, the Comintern and the KGB actually did all the crimes of which the victims were accused and yet were innocent! The Soviets were the ones conspiring behind the scenes, intimidating, etc.

This knee-jerk reaction on the part of the White House betrays Marxist muscle memory. The SHOW TRIALS railroaded people by the dictum ‘Accuse the victim of what you’re doing’ and that’s exactly what they’re trying to do in these TOWN HALLS.
How interesting is it that the ‘community-organizer-in-chief’ and his forces are accusing the ordinary citizens at the town hall meetings of organized, disruptive behavior, of trying to achieve political ends by subversive means. Isn’t it painfully obvious that this behavior is at the very CORE of the identity of ACORN and all the other far-left activists who engage in ‘community organizing’?
I feel very confident that the vast majority of these people this month were not ‘bussed in’ or paid to disrupt the meetings. They are just ordinary people, many of them Democrats, who are justifiably fed up. On the other hand, the very behavior falsely attributed to the town hall attendees is exactly what ACORN and their ilk has done, by their own admission. Their PLAN is always to hire claques of haranguers to harass and intimidate, not to ASK QUESTIONS like the people at the town halls did.

The bottom line is, in the Marxist tradition, they are accusing their victims of doing exactly what they are doing, despite the fact there is no truth in the accusation. The one difference is that Obama and his Communist Czar and his Marxist Czars haven’t quite got totalitarian control yet.

Alinsky vs. Sun Tzu: How ancient strategy can be used against the Liberal Left.

Much has been made in recent political history of Saul Alinsky and his Rules for Radicals. Bill Clinton reportedly followed Alinsky’s advice. Barack Obama taught a class on using Alinsky principles to keep the nation in chaos. After all, it’s easier to get radical policies enacted during a crisis. However, I assert that there is an older, much more battle-tested set of rules for warfare that are becoming more applicable to politics in the United States as the political arena begins to resemble the Roman Colosseum:

Now this may not make sense, but give it a try.

It is part of a Natural News article on how to argue with "Vaccine Zombies. It addressing the subject of Vaccines and the Swine Flu. Try replacing some words, it might work for discussions with other Zombies you might run into in your Community Organizing Challenges.

We are clever people I bet we can come up with some of our own.
(NaturalNews) Swine flu vaccine (Insert your word) zealots are like zombies... they just keep coming at you, mindless... heartless... empty-headed and a tad funky on the smell, too. But I've noticed from observing the behavior of a few such zealots that not all of them fully comprehend precisely how to act like a mindless vaccine zealot. There's more to it than just parroting whatever the FDA says. You actually have to get with the zealot program if you want to be taken seriously as a swine flu(Insert Your word) vaccine zealot.

So I've put together this handy guide to help them along:
Step 1) Loudly proclaim your vaccines (insert your word) are backed by "science," but when critics ask you to produce that science, just tell them you don't have to because "everybody knows they work." (Then grunt and paw at the air from time to time for effect...)

Step 2) Practice scoffing. Scoffing is an important skill for swine flu vaccine (insert your word) zealots. When someone asks an intelligent question like, "Where are the placebo-controlled studies that show flu vaccines (insert your word) work at all?" simply scoff at them. This avoids having to answer the question because, as you know, there are no such studies.

Step 3) Practice making people feel guilty for not getting (insert your word) the flu shot. Blame them for pandemic. Just ignore the fact that the shot itself has zero ability to actually prevent the spread of influenza and focus on what works: Guilt!

Step 4) Spread more fear! Guilt and fear go together like peanut butter and jelly on processed white bread -- a favorite zombie food! In combination, they work like gangbusters if you're trying to scare up some vaccine sales to generate billions of dollars in profits for the drug companies (insert your word). In the absence of any actual science, just invoke fear! (Hey, it worked for the Patriot Act, too...)

Step 5) Remind people that they are not (insert your word) doctors and therefore don't know anything. Then quote some doctor who's pro-vaccine (and probably taking kickbacks from some pharmaceutical company that's been caught committing a felony crime) and declare that no one can question them because they're a doctor. Doctors are God, didn't you know? Just ask all the victims of thalidomide... or Vioxx.

Step 6) Strip off the plastic coating on both ends of an extension cord, exposing the wires. Attach the two wires on one end to the temples of your skull, then attach the two exposed wires on the other end to the exposed slots of a live electrical outlet in your home. You are now "WIRED." (Want a free subscription?) This process will destroy any critical thinking regions of your cerebrum, disabling the annoying ability to think for yourself (which can interfere with what the vaccine industry wants you to think instead). Once achieved, you're half-way qualified to being a vaccine zealot, unhindered by critical thinking skills!
(Don't forget to grunt, moan and leave your mouth draping open from time to time, or the whole effect will be ruined...)

Step 7) Defend (insert your word) mercury as safe. It's not that bad, really. What's a little mercury in your shot anyway? Ignore these inconvenient facts: A typical flu vaccine shot solution is 50,000 parts per billion of mercury. The EPA classifies any substance with more than 200 parts per billion as hazardous waste. (The EPA limit in drinking water is 2 parts per billion.) Thus, the mercury density in a vaccine is 25,000% higher than the level required to be considered hazardous waste. This is injected directly into the bloodstream of infants, children, expectant mothers and senior citizens. What could possibly be dangerous about that?

Step 8) Find a bunch of other flu vaccine zealots (insert your word) and quote each other. This is the best part about being a vaccine zealot: It's social! Instead of quoting any actual science to back up your non-position (because there isn't any), all you have to do is quote each other! "The CDC says..." and at the CDC, they say, "The FDA says..." and at the FDA, they say, "The drug maker says..." and at the drug maker, they say, "The researchers said..." and the researchers were quoting the CDC! (I think I remember playing this game in kindergarten... but then I grew up.)

Step 9) Tell everyone you're going to receive the flu vaccine (Insert your word) yourself, even if you aren't. This creates the impression that you actually believe the vaccine is both safe and effective, even when you secretly suspect it is neither. Of course, no one will really know whether you got the shot or not, so you can still just fake it by claiming you did when you really didn't.

Step 10) If all else fails, babble incoherently in a technical medical jargon. Use large Latin words that sound educated. Glare scornfully at all the "small words people." Whatever you say, tell people you read it in a "peer-reviewed medical journal" or picked it up in a "continuing medical education seminar" (almost all of which are sponsored by drug companies, by the way). Hang medical school diplomas on the wall in plain view, preferably over your head (if there's still room there). Tell people how important you are and why no one else is even qualified to ask questions about flu vaccines. Keep up the front!

If you need practice I have included this short video for a key to the body language.

Community Organizer In Chief Suddenly Silences Free Speech

Once upon a time, liberals prided themselves, as the staunchest defenders of free speech. Now they are its fiercest opponents. foxnews_190x107AP

Once upon a time our president wasn't always down on dissent. After all, he was a community organizer way before he ever became a politician.

"Go out and talk to your friends and talk to your neighbors. I want you to talk to them whether they are independent or whether they are Republican. I want you to argue with them and get in their face," Senator Obama told his supporters on the campaign trail in fall of 2008.

So I suppose he was for bickering before he was against it?

The left has always loved community organizing-when it's their interest. Heck, they are being lead by an expert in the field. But when regular folks gather to express unhappiness in the form of a dissenting opinion to their progressive agenda, they despise it, delegitimize it and seek to stop it all costs. Grassroots are bad when the roots aren't firmly planted in the liberal ground. Apparently bills in Congress aren't the only thing Democrats haven't read in a while -- how about the Constitution? Remember that? Isn't this enshrined in the Constitution -- freedom of Assembly? Isn't this one of the foundations of our democracy, organizing, getting like-minded people with the same views to come together, whether they're in Birkenstocks or Brooks Brothers? Last time I looked there was nothing "manufactured" about organizing for or against a cause.

The White House has called the uproar at recent town halls on health care "manufactured outrage." Senator Harry Reid calls the concerned citizens speaking their minds "loud, shrill voices." Nancy Pelosi called protesters Nazis, who are "carrying swastikas and symbols like that to a town meeting on health care." There is no evidence on this whatsoever.

And Senator Barbara Senator Boxer Senator (not to be outdone on insanity by Speaker Pelosi) has objected to the dress code of protesters. (Did I mention she was a Senator??) She claims they're "too well dressed" to be legit. You just can't have a real protest without some tie dye, marijuana and a flaming brassiere, huh.

Ma'am, this is what people with jobs look like. I guess one needs to strip to his or her tighty whities to be taken seriously.

But the polling discredits their charges. According to a recent Quinnipiac poll, on Obama's effort to overhaul of the health-care system, 52 percent disapprove of his handling of the issue while 39 percent approve. Disapproval jumped 10 points in the last month alone, and 60 percent of Independents - a key voting block - disapprove of the plan. Bottom line: the outrage is real.

Despite the legitimacy of the public's concern, demonizing democracy has become pretty common these days for the left. They wrote off the tea parties as fabricated and claimed they were funded by FOX News . Most of the mainstream media took their cue from them and refused to report on the gatherings. Congressional Democrats sought to reimpose the "fairness doctrine" on broadcasters in order to shut down the one conservative-leaning communications medium, talk radio. And the administration has already tried to label anyone who speaks up as a "radical right wing extremist."

By dismissing the anger of conservatives, moderates, libertarians, conservative democrats and independents the administration looks out of touch and appallingly arrogant. In fact, it will hurt them even more because Obama promised to listen to the concerns of the citizens, not operate with a tin ear.

Once upon a time, liberals prided themselves, with considerable reason, as the staunchest defenders of free speech. Now they are its fiercest opponents. In case they have forgotten, the root of the word "democrat" means power to the people. That means ALL people. Even when they aren't wearing tie dye.

Cynthia Tucker: Town Hall Protesters Are Racists

See Video: Cynthia Tucker: Town Hall Protesters Are Racists | The FOX Nation

Wow… when all else fails, yell racism. I have never heard single person oppose healthcare because of racism or dislike Obama because they are racists. And to resort to using the race card when people don’t like your policies really is a low blow! Obviously Cynthia Tucker and Paul Krugman are the ones obsessed with race!

Are you opposed to ObamaCare? Willing to attend a town hall to express your disapproval? Odds are good you're a racist. Just ask Cynthia Tucker. As Clay Waters has noted, Paul Krugman alleges that racist motives are at the heart of the town hall protests against ObamaCare. On this evening's Hardball, Cynthia Tucker of the Atlanta Journal-Constitution was willing to get specific, estimating that "45 to 65%" of the protesters are motivated by racism.

ACORN, Obama and the Present Mortgage Mess

The financial markets were teetering on the edge of an abyss last week. The secretary of the Treasury was literally on his knees begging the speaker of the House not to sabotage the bailout bill. The crash of falling banks made the earth tremble. The Republican presidential candidate suspended his campaign to deal with the crisis. And amid all this, the Democrats in Congress managed to find time to slip language into the bailout legislation that would provide a dandy little slush fund for ACORN.

ACORN stands for the Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now, a busy hive of left-wing agitation and "direct action" that claims chapters in 50 cities and 100,000 dues-paying members. ACORN is where Sixties leftovers who couldn't get tenure at universities wound up. That the bill-writing Democrats remembered their pet clients during such an emergency speaks volumes. This attempted gift to ACORN (stripped out of the bill after outraged howls from Republicans) demonstrates how little Democrats understand about what caused the mess we're in.

ACORN does many things under the umbrella of "community organizing." They agitate for higher minimum wages, attempt to thwart school reform, try to unionize welfare workers (that is, those welfare recipients who are obliged to work in exchange for benefits) and organize voter registration efforts (always for Democrats, of course). Because they are on the side of righteousness and justice, they aren't especially fastidious about their methods. In 2006, for example, ACORN registered 1,800 new voters in Washington. The only trouble was, with the exception of six, all of the names submitted were fake. The secretary of state called it the "worst case of election fraud in our state's history." As Fox News reported:

"The ACORN workers told state investigators that they went to the Seattle public library, sat at a table and filled out the voter registration forms. They made up names, addresses, and Social Security numbers and in some cases plucked names from the phone book. One worker said it was a lot of hard work making up all those names and another said he would sit at home, smoke marijuana and fill out the forms."

ACORN explained that this was an "isolated" incident, yet similar stories have been reported in Missouri, Michigan, Ohio, and Colorado -- all swing states, by the way. ACORN members have been prosecuted for voter fraud in a number of states. (See www.rottenacorn.com.) Their philosophy seems to be that everyone deserves the right to vote, whether legal or illegal, living or dead.

ACORN recognized very early the opportunity presented by the Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) of 1977. As Stanley Kurtz has reported, ACORN proudly touted "affirmative action" lending and pressured banks to make subprime loans. Madeline Talbott, a Chicago ACORN leader, boasted of "dragging banks kicking and screaming" into dubious loans. And, as Sol Stern reported in City Journal, ACORN also found a remunerative niche as an "advisor" to banks seeking regulatory approval. "Thus we have J.P. Morgan & Co., the legatee of the man who once symbolized for many all that was supposedly evil about American capitalism, suddenly donating hundreds of thousands of dollars to ACORN." Is this a great country or what? As conservative community activist Robert Woodson put it, "The same corporations that pay ransom to Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton pay ransom to ACORN."

ACORN attracted Barack Obama in his youthful community organizing days. Madeline Talbott hired him to train her staff -- the very people who would later descend on Chicago's banks as CRA shakedown artists. The Democratic nominee later funneled money to the group through the Woods Fund, on whose board he sat, and through the Chicago Annenberg Challenge, ditto. Obama was not just sympathetic -- he was an ACORN fellow traveler.

Now you could make the case that before 2008, well-intentioned people were simply unaware of what their agitation on behalf of non-credit-worthy borrowers could lead to. But now? With the whole financial world and possibly the world economy trembling and cracking like a cement building in an earthquake, Democrats continue to try to fund their friends at ACORN? And, unashamed, they then trot out to the TV cameras to declare "the party is over" for Wall Street (Nancy Pelosi)? The party should be over for the Democrats who brought us to this pass. If Obama wins, it means hiring an arsonist to fight a fire.
