BREAKING NEWS: China Got Stealth Tech From Russia??

Where on earth did Russia get stealth technology?

If this report is accurate, the Communist Chinese obtained stealth technology from Russia. So now both of them have it, but when the F-22 Raptor was first rolling off the line, we were supposed to have a ten-year head start... the Russians and Chinese, IIRC, were supposed to be more than a decade behind.

How did both enemy powers get it so fast? Who sold it to them? Why haven't they been executed for treason?

And why on earth does the J-20 look so much like a combination of the F-22 and the YF-23, the air superiority fighter design that lost to the F-22? The resemblance is uncanny, at best.
The fact of the matter is that it appears that our technology has been either stolen, or sold, to Russia, who then sold it to China. That's called treason!

No matter how one looks at it, it's difficult to come to any other conclusion. The alternatives are simply far less likely. And then there's the little issue of Occam's Razor...

It's all a little too convenient for the Russians and the Chinese. This matter needs to be investigated to the fullest extent of the power of subpoena which the Republican-controlled United States House of Representatives now has!

Whether this technology was somehow traded or bargained away in some kind of trade deal, or it was outright sold to the Russians and/or the Chinese, directly or indirectly, heads need to roll! We know we can't trust the Obama Regime to do what's best for America's safety and national security, so we must rely on Republicans to investigate this, and then mete out whatever needs to be meted out to discourage such treason in the future, not to mention punish the guilty party (or parties)!

Darrell Issa (D-CA), Chairman of the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform, and Jason Chaffetz, member of the Committee on Oversight and Government Reform...what about it? Is this something y'all would be willing to look into?

China Got Stealth Tech From Russia: US Lawmaker

Jan 18 01:46 PM US/Eastern
China got the technology for its first stealth fighter jet from Russia, a senior US lawmaker said Tuesday, one week after the airplane apparently made its maiden flight.

"My understanding is that they built it on information that they received from Russia, from a Russian plane, that they were able to copy," House Armed Services Committee Chairman Buck McKeon told reporters.

McKeon, a Republican, said he hoped to "hear more" on the issue from Defense Secretary Robert Gates, who was on a visit to Beijing when Chinese state media published photographs of the J-20 fighter in the skies over southwestern China.

According to the reports, which cited witnesses, the next-generation war jet -- the existence of which highlights China's drive to modernize its military -- made a 15-minute test flight before landing.
The lawmaker, who had been asked whether Beijing had obtained the technology needed to build such an advanced fighter from cyber-espionage, also stressed that "China's a concern" for US national security.

"We need to be looking at China, we need to be looking at North Korea, we need to be looking at Iran," said McKeon, who has given a skeptical greeting to Gates' plans for reductions in US military spending.

"That's what really concerns me when I look at the cuts, the potential cuts, that they're talking about for the defense budget. This is not a safe world," said the lawmaker.

NBC's Anti-Freedom Bias Part II: What Makes You Think America Wants Obamacare Repeal?

NewsBusters' Brent Baker is the man. I love this guy! I can't imagine how much time went into preparing this, as well as preparing the referenced articles previously, but I am grateful they exist. This is documented evidence of the rampant hypocrisy, anti-freedom Bias, and ridiculous, sleazy journalist attacks against Republicans, whether they're 'progressive' or conservative Republicans. NBC News personalities seem to drip with hatred, contempt, and tainted spittle from their foul mouths as they do a world-class job of making their delivery appear as if they are really-truly-honest-believe-me! unbiased news broadcasters.

Their choice of words, when contrasted between RADICAL leftists such as Nancy Pelosi', and relative conservatives such as John Boehner (I reserve judgment for now as to have truly conservative Boehner really is), makes their feelings crystal clear. And to think these ideological assassins are paid $Millions a year to destroy any chance of rolling back the 'progress' being made by radical leftists AKA 'progressives.'

Williams to Boehner: ‘Where Are You Getting the Notion’ Americans W...

By Brent Baker | January 06, 2011 | 22:02

In an “exclusive” interview with new House Speaker John Boehner for Thursday’s NBC Nightly News, Brian Williams told Boehner the promised vote to repeal ObamaCare has “been called a stunt,” pressed him to justify repealing it given many would not call it “the best health care delivery system in the world because they, by the millions, weren't getting it” and demanded to know “where are you getting the notion...the American people want it repealed” given polling was “very evenly split on that?”

Then he held Boehner responsible for a “birther” woman in the gallery who shouted out “except Obama” as a Congressman on the floor was reading aloud the part of the Constitution requiring the President to be a “natural born citizen”:

I'm curious as to how much responsibility you feel -- specifically, because of something that happened this morning. During the reading of the Constitution, Congressman Frank Pallone of New Jersey was reading a portion of the document interrupted by someone who heckled from within the chamber. It was to express doubt over the President's American citizenship.

On ObamaCare, after Boehner promised better relations between the parties, Williams argued:

Ant yet, respectfully the first thing you're doing, after the reading of the Constitution, is bringing so-called Obamacare, the Obama health plan, up for a vote. It's been called a stunt because it can pass the Republican House, but it's certain to fail -- if not in the Democratic Senate, but it won't survive a veto. Why spend the valuable time of your beloved House of Representatives that way?

Williams soon contended:

What do you say to those who would disagree that it was the best health care delivery system in the world because they, by the millions, weren't getting it? And, second, where are you getting the notion -- as you said again this morning -- the American people want it repealed? Our exit polling was about 48-47, very evenly split on that.

In a check on PollingReport.com I found:

- Mid-December CNN poll: 43 in favor versus 54 percent opposed to ObamaCare.

- Kaiser Family Foundation’s Kaiser Health Tracking Poll, in December: 41 expand or leave as is, 51 repeal all or parts of it.

- September CBS News poll: 37 approve versus 49 disapprove.

- August USA Today/Gallup survey: 39 approve, 56 disapprove

[UPDATE: A Gallup poll, reported in the Friday, January 7 USA Today (“U.S. split on repeal of health care law”), found that “split” leans decidedly in favor of repealing ObamaCare: “Forty-six percent of those surveyed Tuesday and Wednesday say they want their representative to vote for repeal; 40% want the law to stand.”]
--------
I must interject here: The hypocrisy of NBC News is stunning; yes, we expect it, since we know who and what they are, but WE SHOULDN'T HAVE TO!! We should be able to expect news to accurately report the facts! It's ridiculous, it's wrong, it's IMMORAL to refuse to let the news-consuming public know the truth!

Check out the amazing hypocrisy of NBC News (as well as that of the other Network News outfits):

Nets Champion Pelosi for 'Making History' as First Female Speaker

House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi sat for interviews Wednesday with reporters for all the networks. NBC's Brian Williams and CBS's Katie Couric put the most emphasis on her presumed "history-making" ascension to House Speaker and allowed her to offer the most-benign descriptions of the policies she will pursue.

"Our conversation with Nancy Pelosi, a woman on the verge of making American history," Williams trumpeted in teasing the NBC Nightly News. Over video of President Bush, with Vice President Cheney and House Speaker Hastert behind him at a State of the Union address, Williams relayed how Pelosi "says she is most excited to change this picture, to put a female face in this frame of three male faces for the very first time." Williams sycophantically gushed to her: "Let's talk about history because I know history was riding along with you as you watched the results last night. I know you have thought today about your mother. I know you have thought today about your father, your own children and grandchildren."

...

NBC Puffed Pelosi, But In '94 Tom Brokaw Assailed Newt Gingrich

NBC anchor Brian Williams didn't exactly strike a tone of toughness with new House Speaker Nancy Pelosi after she was elected, last week asking her softball questions on NBC Nightly News about what "drain the swamp" meant and how "history was riding along with her." In the week since none of the networks have aired any piece critical of Pelosi's personal life, professional conduct or connections.

But twelve years ago on November 15, 1994, one week after Newt Gingrich's big win, NBC anchor Tom Brokaw hammered Gingrich in a snide and negative ten-minute Dateline NBC hit piece. Brokaw pushed every negative button. Gingrich had a "long streak" of "casually reckless" remarks. He admitted "he smoked pot" and "got a marriage deferment" to avoid service in Vietnam. He went to first wife Jackie's hospital room "the day after her cancer surgery" to discuss divorce terms. He made a "very ominous" charge that FDA chief David Kessler threatened to ruin businesses. And his "well-heeled admirers," called "Newt Incorporated," showed he was already ethically compromised, since voters would think donors "were trying to buy his heart if not his vote, at the least."...

The questions posed by Brian Williams to House Speaker John Boehner, as aired in the interview excerpts aired on the Thursday, January 6 NBC Nightly News (transcript provided by the MRC’s Brad Wilmouth):

– What one thing are you willing to go down in flames on? What one issue is so important to you that, if you knew in advance, you would make the deal, you'd be a short-term, two-year Speaker of the House?

– Your speech yesterday seemed personal. I noted a lot of conciliatory language in it. But there was that expression, “scar tissue.” You said there's been a lot of “scar tissue” buildup. Elaborate. What did you mean?

– And yet, respectfully, the first thing you're doing, after the reading of the Constitution, is bringing so-called Obamacare, the Obama health plan, up for a vote. It's been called a stunt because it can pass the Republican House, but it's certain to fail -- if not in the Democratic Senate, but it won't survive a veto. Why spend the valuable time of your beloved House of Representatives that way?

– Two points: What do you say to those who would disagree that it was the best health care delivery system in the world because they, by the millions, weren't getting it? And, second, where are you getting the notion -- as you said again this morning -- the American people want it repealed? Our exit polling was about 48-47, very evenly split on that.

– I'm curious as to how much responsibility you feel -- specifically, because of something that happened this morning. During the reading of the Constitution, Congressman Frank Pallone of New Jersey was reading a portion of the document interrupted by someone who heckled from within the chamber. It was to express doubt over the President's American citizenship. Provided you believe the President is an American citizen, you got 12 members co-sponsoring legislation that does about the same thing. It expresses doubt. Would you be willing to say this is a distraction, I've looked at it to my satisfaction, let's move on?

– Would you be willing to say that message to the 12 members in your caucus who seem to either believe otherwise or are willing to express doubt and have co-sponsored legislation along those lines?

– Do you consider the Defense budget sacred? Do you consider the Homeland Security budget sacred? What goes? Name a program right now that we could do without.
– Do you think we belong in Afghanistan, still, to this day?

Williams ended Nightly News with another Boehner segment, asking him about being “an emotional guy” what he does “for strength” and efforts to quit smoking.

NBC's Anti-Freedom Bias Part I: 'Republican Revenge?'

This is precisely why I never turn the channel to NBC News. Ever.

They are so ridiculously biased that it's laughable.

Which is pretty darn sobering when you think about the fact that MILLIONS OF AMERICANS watch this garbage each and every day, unaware of how ridiculously misled and misinformed they are.

It's time to replace the alphabet soup networks with something better. I vote for Glenn Beck with my time and my wallet.

What the Tea Party Movement is and Is Not…

4000 at Tea Party - ChicagoGrassroots Tea Party Movement Out in Force in Chicago

A very interesting story about how the New York Times is finally giving tea party groups media coverage. What is so interesting is they are painting all tea party goers as right wing fanatics, calling for sedition, armed conflict and such.

While the the majority of tea party goers are concerned Americans try to effect representative government. The attempt by the left wing media now to demonize the movement is an affront to every one who is not a radical right wing nut. So being a tea party member I implore all members to stick to the issues and advise all members to do the same. We do not want to be demonized by the left wing media and its supporters (George Soros) who will do everything to discredit the movement.

This is from an earlier post on one of AARP’s Political Blogs by a well-researched, very enlightened blogger…

It is surprising how many political commentators on radio and TV, in newspapers and magazines, talk show hosts and members of both major political parties have a very large misunderstanding of what the Tea Party Movement is all about. They make an invalidate assumption, and then rant and rave believing that their assumption is actual fact.

Let me attempt to clarify.

WHAT THE TEA PARTY MOVEMENT IS NOT.

* It is not an attack on Obama. He just happened to be the President in power, when the dam burst.

* It is not an attack against the Democratic Party.

* It is not a movement in support of the Republican party.

WHAT IS THE DRIVING FORCE BEHIND THE TEA PARTY MOVEMENT?

* It is a protest against the way government is run, whether the Republicans are in power, or the Democrats are in power. It is a protest against government being run either from the extreme right or the extreme left.

The members of the Tea Party movement did not all come from one Political Party. The members are made up, in equal parts, of Republicans, Democrats, Libertarians, and Independents.

WHAT THE MEMBERS OF THE TEA PARTY MOVEMENT ARE OPPOSED TO.

* Against politicians whose main role in life is getting elected and reelected.

* Against politicians ignoring the wishes of their constituents and voting per the instruction of party leaders.

* Against politicians who vote for bills, without reading them

* Against SWEET HEART deals with lobbyists, unions, big business, and major contributors*

* Against politicians who accept “favors”, meals, event tickets, travel, lodging, meals, etc from lobbyists.

* Against politicians who feel that it beneath them to respond to their constituent’s request, meetings, phone calls, etc.

* Against mortgaging the financial future of our children and grandchildren

* Against closed door deals

* Against earmarks (pork)

* Against the lack of transparency on proposed legislation.

* Against politicians who take expensive junkets, at taxpayer expense, for no apparent justifiable reason

* Against politicians who are paid $ 175,000 per year, plus an un taxable $93,000, petty cash fund, to only work 3 days a week when Congress is in session, but who seldom bother to make an appearance during those three days.

* Against political payoffs to politicians in order to “buy their vote"

*· Against politicians who make speeches running down and apologizing for our country

* Against politicians who have a large staff, paid for by tax payer funds, whose jobs are totally dependent upon satisfying the desires of the elected official they work for, rather than their constituents

* Against politicians who feel they they know better than we do regarding how we should run our lives

* Other

WHAT THE MEMBERS OF THE TEA PARTY MOVEMENT ARE FOR

* Politicians who believe that our government should be a government of the people, by the people and for the

* Politicians who are concerned with that which is best for the country, rather than what’s best for their political future.

* Politicians who believe and follow the principles laid down in The Declaration of Independence, and the Constitution.

* Fiscal responsibility – Spending only the money available and not constantly borrowing against the future

* Eliminating high cost “perks” that are only available to elected officials

* Establishing a special fund for FICA contributions and not throwing Social Security money into the general fund, which Congress immediately spends

* Elimination of earmarks – pork

* Transparency of all proposed legislation – require that the complete text of all proposed legislation be posted on the Internet for a minimum of 72 hours prior to allowing that legislation to be voted upon.

* Other, but you get the idea

The New York Times article typical of what the left does best... demonize everyone who opposes them. Alinsky followers every last one, including Hillary Clinton!!

Remember their slogan, the end justifies any means!!

Sarah Palin, American Heroine

If you had a choice (and you may) would you vote for this remarkable person ...

Hillary941-1.jpg When it comes to 2012, you guys need to be more worried about Hillary and less worried about Sarah. picture by jvisentine

... or would you instead vote for this one, self-avowed American Progressive!?!

TPP Statement on Tea Party Political Party – Movement Says NO on Third Party Ambitions

Dear Fellow Tea Party Patriots,

There is much talk of the formation of a third political party based on the tea party movement.

Tea Party Patriots is issuing this statement in order to make it clear that we are not associated with any attempts to form a third party. Additionally, we believe that such efforts are unproductive and unwise at this time. The history of third party movements in this country is one of division and defeat. We believe that it is instead time for all Americans to rise up and demand appropriate reform within their own parties. The mechanisms exist for
citizens to participate in their parties, and to drive their parties in the right direction.

The Tea Party Patriots encourage all citizens to get involved in the party process, and to reshape their parties into something in which they may once again believe. This country does not belong to any one party, nor does it belong to the career politicians. This country belongs to the citizens. As Benjamin Franklin once said, "We have given you a republic madam, if you can keep it." The founders knew that it would be our sacred obligation as
citizens to get involved, and to work hard to hold on to this great
nation. We have much work to do, and future generations will look back in judgment. We hope you will join us in preserving the republic.

You are the heart and soul of the Tea Party Movement. Thank you for promoting the causes of fiscal responsibility, constitutionally limited government, and free markets with us!

9.12.09 March on Washington - Updated

THE TEA PARTY MOVEMENT GOES TO CAPITOL HILL

We’ve received a lot of emails and phone calls from you about updates on the 9-12 March on Washington. Many of you are wondering where we stand, 30 days out from the historic event. I wanted to take a few minutes tonight to update you.

Every day I talk to someone new who is chartering a bus or booking a flight to come to DC on 9-12. The energy is high, the momentum is growing and the day is getting closer. We are trying to keep track of registrations for the March, but we know that many more people will simply come without registering. That is fine, but we do need to get an estimate of the expected crowd for logistics purposes.

As one wise conservative sage, Morton Blackwell, always says, “You should underpromise and overachieve.” That is what we are trying to accomplish by not giving the media any crowd estimates that they can use against us. We want to surprise them and shock the nation by the massive turnout that we expect on 9-12. I can only ask you to trust our judgment in this, and promise you that we will have a huge turnout.

We are in meetings every couple of days, locking down more logistics for the three day event, booking speakers, managing our volunteer list, marketing the event, doing interviews and raising money. These things are taking up a lot of our time, and we know that if we all work hard, it will pay off big time on 9-12. What we really need from all of you is the following: help calling talk radio stations; posting comments on blogs; alerting the local media to cover the event; helping us raise money to pay for the expensive equipment and supplies; and recruiting as many people in your neighborhood to come with you to DC.

If all the people reading this blog post help us by doing these things, we are guaranteed a successful event. The potential for this event is huge, and it is up to every one of us to commit to recruiting as many people as we can to come.

Finally, be sure to check our agenda page for updates on training sessions, grassroots lobbying, press conferences and the March details. This will be the most up-to-date source for breaking news about the March. Other sites are helping spread the word, but they may have incomplete or incorrect information. Be sure to let them know if something changes on this site.

We have a lot planned for the 3-day March on Washington, and we are excited to work with you for the next month to ensure its success. We have worked hard all year to take a stand for liberty, and we have made an impact in the debates in Congress. But now we must come together in the spirit of previous marches on Washington, and unite for one day, in one place, to display our power as a movement. We have the potential to be the kind of historic movement that makes a long-lasting impact on our country. Namely, we the people have the power to stop the movement toward socialism taking place in our country. We have the power to stand up and defend our Constitution from the politicians and their political hacks and machines. And we have the power to defeat big government and its enablers, and save our country from those that wish to fundamentally alter it.

Ask yourself, what would Thomas Jefferson do in these times? What would Samuel Adams or Thomas Paine do? Please join us in working harder than ever the next month to focus on one event that will shock the nation, and make enough noise that our voices echo into the ages. Together, we can do this. See you in September.

Word is that Glenn Beck has accepted and will be hosting and speaking at the event!!

Judge Andrew Napolitano- Columbus Ohio Tea Party, August 1, 2009

Two part video of Judge Andrew Napolitano’s address to thousands at the Columbus Ohio Tea Party.

Here is the text of the speech:

Keynote speech at the Ohio Rally for State Sovereignty, August 1, 2009

Let me set down a couple of fervent beliefs that animate everything I do and everything I say.

I believe that God created heaven and earth and every single individual on the planet.

I believe that the God who gave us life gave us liberty and that freedom is our birthright.

I believe that the States created the federal government and not the other way around. And that the power that the States gave to the Federal Government – they can take back.

When we were colonists, and the King and the Parliament needed money from us, and they always seemed to need money, they devised ingenious ways to tax us. One of them was called the Stamp Act. The Parliament decreed that every piece of paper that the Colonists had in their homes; every book, every document, every deed, every lease, every pamphlet, every poster to be nailed to a tree had to have the King’s stamp on it. You think going to a Post Office is bad? You had to go to a British Government office and buy a stamp with the King’s picture.

Question. How did the King know that his picture was on every piece of paper in your house? The Parliament enacted a hateful piece of legislation called the Writs of Assistance Act which let the king’s soldiers write their own search warrants, and bang down any door they chose to look for the stamps or anything else that they were looking for.

It was the last straw.

We fought a revolution. We won the revolution. We wrote the Constitution. The constitution doesn’t grant power, it keeps the government off our backs.

When they were debating the Constitution in the summer of 1787 in Philadelphia, there were two great arguments – one by the Jefferson and Madison crowd and one by the Adams and Hamilton crowd. Jefferson argued, though he wasn’t physically there in Philly, as he did in the Declaration of Independence that our rights are ours by virtue of our humanity. That as God is perfectly free, and we are created in his image and likeness, we too are perfectly free. The big government crowd – yes they had them even in those days – argued that you can’t have freedom without government, and that government gives us our rights, and therefore, that government can take them away. This is not an academic argument. Jefferson and the natural law argument prevailed because the Constitution was written to keep the government from interfering with our natural rights.

And so, your right to think as you wish, to say what you think, to publish what you say, to travel where you want, to worship as you see fit, to keep and bear arms to defend yourself against a tyranny. And, after the right to life, the greatest and most uniquely American of rights – and I say this in front of the seat of the government – is the right to be left alone.

We wrote a Constitution to ensure that the government would never interfere with these rights. Think about it – if rights come from the government, then the government, by ordinary legislation, or presidential decree can take them away. But if the rights come from our humanity, then unless we violate someone else’s natural rights, the government cannot take our rights away.

This is not just a democrat, upper case D, or a republican, upper case R, problem. It’s a problem with government today. There’s a republican version of big government just as assaultive to our liberties as the democrat version of big government.

We fought a revolution because British soldiers could knock on our doors and demand that we house them, and demand that we turn over property to them because they could write their own search warrants. In the Patriot Act, the most hateful piece of legislation since the Alien and Sedition Acts, a republican congress and a republican president authorized federal agents to do the unthinkable – to write their own search warrants. And the republican administration didn’t even let members of the House of Representatives read the Patriot Act before they voted on it.

Why should the government be able to spy on us? We should be able to spy on them!

When some judge is rationalizing away our liberty, or some congressman is plotting to take away your freedom or your tax dollars, we should know what they do every minute that they do it.

I was speaking to a group of congressman from a neighboring state – I won’t tell you which state it was, but they don’t play football there – and they came up to me and said “this is the first time we have heard that the Patriot Act allows federal agents to write their own search warrants.” Remember, in the Constitution, we put in the 4th Amendment, the right to be left alone, to make sure that if the government had a target, no matter how guilty the target, no matter how widespread is the belief in the guilt of the target, no matter how dangerous is the target, the government has to go through a neutral judge with a search warrant before it can get to that target. These members of Congress said, “we didn’t know that the Patriot Act allowed the government to bypass the courts and write any search warrant they wanted.” Then I asked them a question I knew the answer to already – did you read the Patriot Act before you voted on it? The answer – no. What were you voting on? A summary we received. Let me guess who wrote the summary – some lawyers in the justice department, right? Of course.

Would you hire anybody to run your business that committed you to a violation of the very reason you’re in business if they didn’t even read the document by which they were making that commitment? Of course not.

The camera is the new gun. There’s nothing that government dislikes more than the light of day, and cameras recording what the government is doing, whether it’s on a street corner, or in there, or in Washington D.C., we have the right to know everything that they do and why they do it, and when they do it, and how they are taking our freedoms.

I have another one of my basic core beliefs. The individual has an immortal soul. Every individual is greater than any government.

Your government is based on fear and force. You don’t have to take my word on it. The 2nd president on the United States, John Adams, said “Of course the government is based on fear.” And the first president, George Washington, said “Government is not reason, it is force.” I think they knew what they were talking about.

Now fast-forward to modern times. Whenever the government wants something, it scares us. During the civil war, Lincoln tried civilians in this state where no battles occurred, by military tribunal. After he died the Supreme Court invalidated everything the military tribunals did. During the first world war, the Wilson administration locked up 2000 people called anarchists – same thing as enemy combatants. No trial, no charge, just jail for the duration of the war. In World War II, FDR locked up 150,000 Japanese Americans, people born in the United States, who got no trial and had no charges, and when the war was over were given $25 and told to go home.

Today we have federal agents. You know I get in arguments with my friends at Fox News, and one of them, I don’t have to tell you who it is, but is truly the most irascible person there. And he said to me, you know you have a problem with Guantanamo Bay, and you have a problem with the Patriot Act, what will you do if I get sent to Guantanamo Bay, will you visit me? And I say, Bill – no, because they’ll probably keep me there as well.

Government likes to say that it’s taking an oath to uphold the Constitution. In the years that I was on the bench, it seemed that every time government lawyers were in my courtroom, if the government was prosecuting someone who was legitimately guilty or whether it was a mistake, or whether somebody was suing the government because government contractors or government doctors, or government workers made a mistake – the government doesn’t come in to the courtroom to enforce the constitution, it comes into the courtroom to evade and avoid it. That, ladies and gentlemen, must be stopped.

This is a great moment in our history. A crowd of this magnitude on a beautiful day, in the boiling sun, in the most middle-American of great middle-American states…comes together not because the president is a democrat, not because his predecessor was a republican, not because a war is just or unjust, not because the Fed is stealing or printing – you’re here because you believe in human freedom.

It is the essence of our existence that we should be free. But remember this: the government hates freedom. It is an obstacle to every one of their designs. Whenever they write laws, whenever they take your tax dollars, whenever they regulate your private behavior, whenever they tell you how to spend your money, whenever they tell you what medicines to take, whenever they tell you what food to eat, whenever they tell you with whom you may or must associate, they are taking away your freedom and they love to get away with it. And they cannot get away with it any longer.

In the long history of the world, very few generations have been granted the role of defending freedom in its maximum hour of danger. This is that moment and you are that generation! Now is the time to defend our freedoms.

Jefferson was no saint but he was the greatest of our American presidents. He believed that the individual was greater than the state. He believed that the states were greater than the federal government. And when he wrote that our rights come from our creator, and that our rights are inalienable, he forever wed the notion of natural rights to the American experience and the American experiment. We must be vigilant about every right that the government wants to take away from us.

You’ve heard the president say, present president and his predecessor, “my first job is to keep you safe.” He’s wrong! His first job is to keep us free. It is his only job to keep us free.

Shortly before he died, Jefferson lamented, that in his view of the world it was the natural order of things for government to grow and freedom to be diminished; how ardently he wish that that wouldn’t happen. And in order to prevent it from happening he had a very simple remedy, “When the people fear the government, that is tyranny. When the government fears the people, that is liberty!”

The Ohio Tea Party was organized by the Ohio Liberty Council. It was not an anti-Obama event or even an anti-taxes, healthcare or cap and trade event. It was a tea party celebrating LIBERTY.

Per the Columbus police department and per Judge Andrew Napolitano, attendance at the event was between 8,000 and 10,000 people. Other than Fox News only one other news outlet mentioned the event. They noted that Judge Napolitano was the keynote speaker and spoke to a crowd of about 300… HMMM Amazing what fear for the power of the people can do!?!

Continue to stand up America! Freedom to stand up and speak is what America is all about and what will keep us free and save us from rationed healthcare, cap and trade, and unreasonable taxes. Standing up… could have saved us from Trillions in national debt.
