THE COW AND THE ICE CREAM

ONE OF THE BEST EXPLANATIONS

OF
WHY OBAMA WON THE ELECTION

--From a teacher in the Nashville area

"We are worried about 'the cow' when it...
Is all about the 'Ice Cream.'

The most eye-opening
Civics lesson I ever had was while teaching third grade this Year.

The presidential election was heating up...

And some of the children showed an interest.

I decided we would have an election for a class president.

We would choose our nominees.

They would make a campaign speech and the class would vote.

To simplify the process...
Candidates were nominated by other class members.

We discussed what kinds of...
Characteristics these students should have.

We got many nominations and from those...
Jamie and Olivia were picked to run for the top spot.

The class had done a great job in their selections.

Both candidates were good kids.

I thought Jamie might have an advantage...
Because he got lots of parental support.

I had never seen Olivia's mother.

The day arrived when they were to make their speeches.

Jamie went first.

He had specific ideas about how to make our class a better place.

He ended by promising to do his very best.

Everyone applauded and he sat down.

Now it was Olivia's turn to speak…

Her speech was concise.

She said…

"If you will vote for me, I will give you ice cream."

She sat down.

The class went wild.

"Yes! Yes! We want ice cream."

She surely would say more…

She did not have to.

A discussion followed.

How did she plan to pay for the ice cream?

She wasn't sure.

Would her parents buy it…

Or would the class pay for it.

She didn't know.

The class really didn't care.

All they were thinking about was ice cream.

Jamie was forgotten.

Olivia won by a landslide.

Every time Barack Obama opened his mouth...

He offered ice cream and...

52 percent of the people reacted like nine year olds.

They want ice cream...

The other 48 percent know…

They're going to have...
To feed the cow and clean up the mess."

This is the ice cream Obama promised us!

Remember…

The government cannot give anything to anyone…

That…

Which they have not first taken away from someone else.

Obama Approval Index Month-by-Month

http://www.rasmussenreports.com/public_content/politics/obama_administration/obama_approval_index_month_by_month

If we pay attention to the lesson, Obama’s election could be the best thing that ever happened to our sleeping country, for there are many issues that this Country faces, including wanting something for nothing, apathy, and outside as well as internal forces stealing the country that most Americans love. The question now… is do we choose to step up and stand up, each one of us, for the America our Founding Fathers and young American troops have fought and spilled blood for ever since… or do we continue to choose the easy way out… the promise of ice cream for doing nothing as we roll into a total Nanny State… Socialism or worse? I have heard people, who themselves long ago stopped thinking for themselves and stopped standing up for God and Country ask, “Why has God forsaken this Country?” As we all know, “God doesn’t always give us what we ask for… He give us what we need!” Perhaps we needed the wake-up call more than we needed a man who at least seemed like he was a man of the people… another issue for another day!

Making the Connections Part II - History is Important for our Future… Knowing the Underlying Truth is Even More Important

After reading this book, "The True Story of the Bilderberg Group" by Daniel Estulin, I wanted to rent a large outdoor commercial sign to wake up people to ask the following questions:

1. Do you know who is really running our United States of America?

2. Have you ever heard of Codex Alimentarius? And what is about to be passed this December for supposed food safety and restrictions on dietary supplements? Small farmers and organic farmers will suffer.

3. Do you really need the flu shot? Just say NO to mandatory H1N1 flu vaccines!

4. Can you completely trust the United Nations?

In the video commentary below, Dick Morris, discusses how the United States, at the G20 conference, put itself under the guidance and, ultimately, control of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) even as it succeeded in turning more power in that organization over to debtor nations. The Declaration of Independence is being repealed before our eyes.
To access the video - Go here!

5. Do you know who are members of the Council of Foreign Relations (CFR), the Trilateral Commission, and the Bilderburg Group and what their objectives are?

I urge you to do some homework, go to your local library and pick up this book and read it. It will upset you, anger you, and hopefully make you want to take action... like joining the millon mom march. And doing everything you can to help wake up other moms to the possibility of the what this country could become which I am sure you don't want for your children.

Please, please do as much research as possible... there is power in knowledge!

Isn't it interesting that the only country that is allowed dual citizenship with the USA is Israel? It is also interesting the distinction between Askenazi and Sephardic tribes of the world. There definitely is a small group that controls much of the world.

By Caroline B. - As A Mom Group - October 4, 2009 at 12:44pm - Go Moms! - Sisterhood of the Mommy Patriots

When I read this article… I thought “Thank God!”, I’m not the only one who sees it… The I met 30,000 Moms, Grandmas, Aunt, Guardians, Mr. Moms, Parents… Concerned Americans who found each other in a matter of 3-days and the numbers just keep going up.

Costco selling...survival food?

Glenn Beck reported that Costco is now selling food for survivalists to the tune of a year’s supply for $799. This isn't some fringe end of the world group doing this -- it's Costco. Why now? Could be because our government is printing so much money that it seems we are trying to emulate Zimbabwe, who no longer has a currency after their bout with hyper-inflation. Glenn talks about why he has something similar in his house. Transcript of Glenn’s Radio Show Conversation.

Even the Nobel Peace Prize win has interesting connections… Who is Thorbjorn Jagland? Obama’s Nobel patron is a long-time leader of Socialist International

With the choice of President Obama for the Nobel Peace Prize inspiring such widespread befuddlement, it seems worthwhile to ask, just who are these people who made this choice, and what might their agenda be?

Accompanying news stories on the award were photos of a smiling Thorbjorn Jagland, chairman of the Nobel Peace Prize Committee, admiringly hold a photo of the U.S. president.

Vice president, Socialist International

Vice president, Socialist International

This is the man who spoke gushingly about the hope Obama has inspired. Who is Thorbjorn Jagland?

Some stories have reported that he is the former prime minister of Norway, and that he was the leader of the Norwegian Labor Party for 10 years. But he recently completed an even more interesting 10-year tenure.

From 1999 through 2008, Jagland was vice president of Socialist International. What’s that? It’s exactly what the name suggests – an international organization of socialist groups who advocate for far left policies. It also boasts of “consultative status” with the United Nations.

March to Socialism: Out of Money – Glenn Beck

America's March to Socialism: Why we're one step closer to giant missile parades is now available as an audio book...

GLENN: President Obama was recently asked a tough question. Yes, believe it or not they will happen once in a while. The interviewer, C Span hosts Steve Scully, asking about soaring trillion dollar deficits and said at what point do we run out of money? Here's what Barack Obama said.

VOICE: You know the number's $1.8 trillion debt, a national deficit of $11 trillion. At what point do we run out of money?

GLENN: Well, the way we print and spend money, I would expect President Obama just to respond, well, we're not going to, et cetera, et cetera. Here's what he said.
PRESIDENT OBAMA: Well, we're out of money now.

GLENN: So the hang on. This is critical. The Messiah knows that we're out of money now. That's weird, you know, that he's aware of that because he's spending trillions of dollars. That's like going to the mall and your wife is in the Prada store and you are like, honey, at what point do we run out of money? And she's got all these purses and everything and she's bringing them up to the counter and she's like, oh, honey, we're out of money now. Why are we in the Prada store then? Apparently Obama knew he said something that scenario at the Prada store, something true but crazy. As Mr. Brilliant politician man, he should have known you can't just say it that way. So he started to backtrack.

PRESIDENT OBAMA: We're operating in deep deficits not caused by any decisions we've made on healthcare so far.

GLENN: Okay. So that's your wife standing in the Prada store: Honey, at what point do we run out of money? Oh, my gosh, we are I mean, we're out of money now. But not because of any bad decisions we've made in the past on buying purses or anything like that, no. It's not our fault, you see. I love this explanation. Not caused by any decisions that we've made on health, so far. He doesn't even consider that all of the other spending has contributed to the problem of, you know, being out of money. So in other words, this might be the first time your wife had a purse she doesn't have a purse problem. She hasn't been spending money on purses. She's been spending it on shoes. "Honey, we're out of money now but not because of the purses." "Yeah, I know, but because you were spending it on shoes." "Honey, we haven't been spending it on purses. If I just buy enough purses, then we'll be okay."
Here's Barack Obama once again.

PRESIDENT OBAMA: This is as a consequence of the crisis that we've seen and, in fact, our failure to make some good decisions on healthcare over the last several decades.

GLENN: See, the problem with the deficit is we didn't have enough spending over the past several decades on the right stuff. If we would have only given away free healthcare to every citizen, visitor, illegal alien, exchange student, maybe, then just maybe everything would be okay. Is anybody buying this? How? I'd love an explanation. I mean, what would have been a good decision in the past? Should we have bankrupt our country back then? It's socialism. Socialism. Not happy with the speed which we're destroying our country; we can do it even faster. Let's step on the gas and accelerate right into that red brick wall at the end of the road we like to call problem solved. What? We're not speeding out of control anymore. Isn't it great?
VOICE: That was even more overwhelming evidence that we are destined to be a bunch of socialist pigs very, very soon on the Glenn Beck program.

Universal Health and Old People

Voice: The Glenn Beck program presents more truth behind America's march to socialism.

Glenn: Yesterday, I told how you how the socialized health system in the UK was letting the last survivor of the Titanic go bankrupt because they weren't covering her health costs. Mark my words, they're going to start selling us universal healthcare as a solution to our Social Security and Medicare costs, Medicaid, it's all going under. They're going to revamp it. This is really dangerous. Why is it dangerous?

Because look how it's happening and how it's working so wonderfully anywhere it's being tried. Hollywood, it kills me. Hollywood actually had step in. Leonardo DiCaprio and Kate Winslet bailed this 97 year old woman out to save her from healthcare despite endless examples of healthcare rationing in the healthcare system, Obama still full speed ahead on pursuing universal healthcare. He actually said that, you know, we all got to have the top flight medical care. It's not good enough that some people in our country have the best medical care. Excuse me?

How are you going to be able to afford everyone having top flight medical care?

You won't. You'll level the playing field which means we'll all have crappy healthcare. Don't worry, old people, though, it's going to be great. You're going to love it. When I say you're going to love it, I don't mean healthcare. I mean, heaven. You should see it especially this time of year. You can't get there fast enough. Let me tell you universal healthcare will help you do it. Why?

Because of the cost benefit analysis. At the Senate finance committee hearings on healthcare reform, Professor Stuart Altman of Brandeis University said that resources get wasted in the American healthcare system. Wasted. Well, what does that mean?

He means that it gets wasted specifically in one segment of the population. Old people, if you think I'm hyping it, his tonight to his words himself. Here's the audio record.

Voice: Remember, our population is aging and at the very, very elderly, the costs go down so that percentage should be falling and it's not. Second, the cost of care is growing by so much so at the same percentage it's worth a lot more. So let's go back to the issue of comparative effectiveness which we're supporting. That's where that can have a big impact. It's not the only place. But that's where the waste is. That's where people are using technologies that really either don't work at all or keep people alive for very limited and very high costs. Hospice is one option, but we do need to take account of the?? you know, I hate to say it, the cost benefit of some of the things we do and either we can do it directly or we can do it by bundling payments and let the delivery system deal with it. So it's a combination of the delivery system dealing with it or?? and/or you providing more information for people that make the right decisions, both for themselves and for their care.

Glenn: Do you understand what he just said?

What he said?? this should terrify people. He's saying you can either let the delivery system do it, in other words, the healthcare system can just say, yeah, you're not going to get that. You're too old. You're a drain on society. I'm sorry, no kidney dialysis for people over 70. What is it in the UK?

60. Some the things they cut off once you outlived your usefulness.

This is Nazi Germany stuff.

This is the kind of stuff that is progressive in its nature. It is eugenics. It is survival of the fittist. It is the reason why the abortion argument makes so much difference. You can't devalue life at either end because these people are waiting to swoop in and say it's just not worth doing these things. Don't waste the money on old people. They're not going to live long anyway. Spend it on someone who meets the requirements of our cost benefit analysis. So old people, thanks for all the contributions you made to society during your better years but now we're sorry to say it's time to send you to a better place, heaven.

Here Come the Commies

A quote ascribed to Karl Marx has been popping up a lot lately:

“Owners of capital will stimulate the working class to buy more and more of expensive goods, houses and technology, pushing them to take more and more expensive credits, until their debt becomes unbearable. The unpaid debt will lead to bankruptcy of banks, which will have to be nationalized, and the State will have to take the road which will eventually lead to communism.”

  — Karl Marx, 1867, Das Kapital

That quote is almost assuredly bogus. We haven’t tormented ourselves by re-reading sections of Capital (Das Kapital). Once in college was enough. This quote, though, has been making the rounds on the Internet, as if Marx and his minions somehow knew all this was coming.

Whether the analysis is accurate is a separate question from whether Marx ever wrote it. German is a torturous language to read in translation, full of compound sentences and words. And it’s highly unlikely, writing in the late 19th century, that Marx would have referred to the working class buying houses and technology. The horseless carriage hadn’t even been invented yet, much less the iPod, the BlueRay, or the George Foreman grill.

Nope. This is a clever bit of revisionism by some unemployed Marxist student or tenured professor trying to discredit the free market while rehabilitating the Marxist playbook. Marx did indeed say capitalism would eventually evolve into socialism and finally communism. He claimed it was riddled by contradictions which made the system inherently unstable.

But his theory was evolutionary, based on his views of human nature and a rational “homo economicus.” Like Adam Smith, Marx was a materialist who defined wealth in terms of physical goods. Thus, his view of human nature is rather material too, which explains his atheism.

In any event, the Austrians (especially Rothbard) would point out that the boom-bust feature of capitalist economies is not inherent in the system, but is actually a product of the government’s manipulation of interest rates. This changes the price of money and causes risk-taking entrepreneurs to miscalculate the underlying demand for their production.

Thus, you get a massive, credit-induced production bubble, global in scale with resources devoted to supplying a fictional demand. It happened with residential real estate in the U.S. and Europe. It’s happened with commercial real estate in China. And it probably happened all along the commodity supply chain, as raw material demand increased for the production of finished goods made in China for Americans who bought on credit.

That isn’t to say you wouldn’t have normal cycles of growth and recession in an economy with natural interest rates. But in an economy with natural interest rates, the cost of capital would go up during a recession. Bankers would get more prudent with their lending as the market place sorted out which lending resulted in productive new enterprise and which businesses failed.

The bad investments would be written down and eventually new demand for capital from entrepreneurs would resume. At least, that’s how the Austrians drew it up. Today, of course, we are engaged in the great global project of trying to prop up investments gone bad, whether they be in residential American real estate or the collateralised bonds based on that real estate that currently reside like dead weight on balance sheets all over the globe.

No amount of rearranging is going to improve the quality of those debts. But that won’t keep political busy bodies from trying — and wasting even more time and capital.

Stocks in the U.S. were up overnight. Here in Australia, the blind are following where the deaf boldly lead. But is anyone listening? Or is everyone too busy hoping?

What we’re talking about are Ben Bernanke’s comments. The news headlines read that he predicted the recession will end later this year and the American economy will recover in 2010. But that’s not exactly what he said.

Here exactly is what he said, “If actions taken by the Administration, the Congress, and the Federal Reserve are successful in restoring some measure of financial stabilityand only if that is the case, in my viewthere is a reasonable prospect that the current recession will end in 2009 and that 2010 will be a year of recovery.”

If you wanted to put it another way, it might go like this: If our plan is successful to solve all the problems, then all the problems will have been successfully solved according to the plan.

How inspiring is that? Does it give you confidence that these guys have any idea what they’re doing?

What the system needs is more instability, not less. That is, prices and asset values need to fall to their real level to restore confidence. In this sense, a proper recession is the cure for uncertainty and instability.

Yes, we know this is in direct contradiction to what elected officials are telling you. But think for a moment of a man who’s done nothing but eat greasy and fatty foods for a year. He’s on his deathbed. His arteries are clogged with fat and cholesterol.

Now you couldn’t improve the man’s health by telling him to feel better about himself. “C’mon big fella. Buck up! Have another cheeseburger. With bacon. And avocado. This whole being morbidly obese and killing yourself thing is all in your head. You gotta get your mind right!”

You could tell him all that. But it would be bad medical advice. In the same way, our financial mal-practitioners have mis-diagnosed the economy. Confidence is not the problem. Bad credits and loans are the problem.

You restore confidence when you directly address the problem. Investors get out of cash and back into shares or property when they have demonstrable proof that the banks aren’t hiding/lying any longer.

Or, as Murray Rothbard puts it in America’s Great Depression, “The completion of liquidation removes the uncertainties of impending bankruptcy and ends the borrowers’ scramble for cash. A rapid unhampered fall in prices, both in general, and particularly in goods of higher orders (adjusting to the mal-investments of the boom) will speedily end the realignment processes and remove expectations of further declines.”

But instead of realigning with economic reality, our policy makers are acting as if it is possible to sustain all the bad investments made during the credit boom. They want to save homeowners, shareholders, bondholders, and pretty much anyone who stands to lose from the risks gone bad.

That is not possible. Someone has to pay for the bad bets made in subprime loans, Eastern Europe, or the developing world. That someone is probably a) the guy who took out the mortgage he can’t repay, b) the bank who made the loan to the guy who took out the mortgage he can’t repay, c) the investor who bought the bond sold by the bank who made the loan to the guy who took out the mortgage he can’t repay.

Evading responsibility for one’s actions doesn’t solve anything. Making other people pay for them doesn’t help much either. Of course we’re all going to pay for it one way or another, through more bailouts or the general contraction in credit and growth that has to come during the “realignment process.”

But those appear to be the two choices: allow failure, which allocates resources from the bad debts and losers to those who can produce real wealth. Or, try to “stabilize” any inherently unstable situation (perpetuating asset values after the credit spigot has been turned off).

Glenn Beck: America's crawl to socialism

Congressman Mike Pence

GLENN: Congressman Mike Pence from Indiana, he is -- we were talking yesterday a little bit about the SCHIP which is children's healthcare, and children's healthcare, this is so much bullcrap, I can't even stand it. It was, "We've got to help the children, we have to help the children," and now it's -- and underprivileged children and poor children. Now it's people who are making $60,000 a year and we've got to help the children. And they've just expanded it, and they are expanding and expanding and expanding. Now it takes 22.4 million new smokers, new -- they are funding it through smoking, new smokers, 22.4 million new smokers to be able to pay for what they've just passed. Well, how are they going to do that? How does that work?

Well, I was talking to Congressman Pence about it yesterday, and we touched upon something that is in the new stimulus package, and I just gave it to you a minute ago. In Obama's new stimulus package, $600 million to address -- and I'm quoting -- to address shortages and prepare our country for universal healthcare. This goes back to what I told you before: They are going to take this country by dribs and drabs. If you want to have an open debate about healthcare, then let's do it. If you want to say, "I want to be a socialist country," then let's have that conversation. But that's not the way it's happening. They are just taking it from you at night. Your freedoms, your economic freedom, the idea of capitalism, the idea that you control your own life and you make your own decisions, it's all going away and Congressman Pence is here to talk toe about this a little more. Congressman, how are you?

CONGRESSMAN PENCE: Hey, good morning, Glenn. Thanks so much for going off on this this morning. You are spot on as I said before, and I think the American people get a better understanding of the so-called stimulus bill the Democrats are -- they see that it is slow, it's wasteful and it really, as you've identified, it is laying a foundation for a massive expansion of government control in healthcare and so --

GLENN: Let's just touch on, first on slow. When you know the facts on this stimulus -- the idea of the stimulus package is, remember, we are a country -- we're either trying to fix this or we're not, right?

CONGRESSMAN PENCE: Right, right.

GLENN: So the idea is we're a consumer nation now and nobody's spending any money because either they don't have any money or they're living in fear. So no money is being spent and that stops the economy because we no longer build things. We just buy things. So the idea of the stimulus package is get money back into the hands of the American taxpayer, get it into the hands -- this was their excuse of -- it wasn't redistribution of wealth. It was, "No, poor people will spend it faster. So that's why we have to go for the poor, because we need to have this money into the system as quickly as possible." Explain what you mean by how slow this stimulus package is.

CONGRESSMAN PENCE: Well, I'll just explain to you what the nonpartisan Congressional Budget Office outlined this week. In looking at the house Democrats stimulus bill, they found that less than half of their stimulus proposal --

GLENN: We're talking a trillion dollars, gang.

CONGRESSMAN PENCE: Right, right, right. Less than half of it would be spent before the beginning of 2011. So, you know, where's the urgency here? And, of course, you know, that's why Republicans continue to believe what we ought to be passing is a stimulus bill that doesn't put more money in the hands of government to be passed out in slow and wasteful ways but that we pass fast acting tax relief that puts money this year right now in the pockets of working families, small businesses and family farms who can make those decisions for themselves and put our ailing economy back on its feet.

GLENN: Congressman, I mean, look, I'm becoming more and more libertarian every day and I'm more and more pissed off at the Republicans every day. So I'm just going to speak frankly with you, and I'm sorry if you happen to be on the receiving end of this. But the stimulus package the Republicans should be pushing for is a tax cut. The fastest way, the most efficient way to get money into the hands of the American people is to say we're immediately cutting your taxes. You want to help businesses? Reduce the corporate income tax so we're at least competitive in the world. Make it 20%. Here's an idea. You really want to be successful, make it 15%, but at least let us be competitive. That's the -- what the Republicans seem to be doing, congressman, is they seem to be taking and saying, "Well, okay, I don't want to do that because that's way too much. Instead I'll do half of that or I'll change that a little bit." Throw the soup out. The stock is bad. The idea is tax cuts!

CONGRESSMAN PENCE: Well, let me tell you, I can't speak for some of my Republican colleagues in the Senate, but I'll tell you House Republicans -- and you know I'm a minor member of leadership now as the conference chairman. I'm going to tell you what: House Republicans formed a working group a few weeks back and we are in the process of presenting a proposal for stimulating this economy that is all tax relief. Glenn, you are going to love it. It's tax relief for working families, for small businesses, and it's tax relief that would impact the economy right now, this year.

GLENN: What about the rich? What about the rich? I mean, let's stop with the class warfare, too.

CONGRESSMAN PENCE: No, no, we're talking about tax cuts that would affect not 95% of Americans the way the Democrats are doing their rebate thing which is really -- you know better than most the rebate stuff we did last spring and the tax, so-called tax cuts in the Democrat stimulus bill look a whole lot more like welfare than they do like tax relief. You are just passing out checks to people, an awful lot of people that didn't pay taxes to begin with.

GLENN: Right.

CONGRESSMAN PENCE: What we need is across-the-board tax relief that affects every American business and every single tax paying American.

GLENN: Thank you. Thank you. Okay. Congressman -- I'm sorry. It's just, I'm frustrated because I think our republic is at stake. I think we are, I think we are entering dangerous, dangerous territories where when people like Barney Frank continue to say, "Oh, there's corruption, there's corruption," and they're hypocrites and they are pointing their finger some place else and haven't taken the beam out of their own eye. When this stimulus package puts us behind the eight ball, when the dollar is devalued to staggering amounts, when these banks finally do collapse, no matter how many trillions of dollars we spend and now we have a socialized nation, I think you have disenfranchisement that is going to bubble over if the people in Washington don't show that there's some sort of common sense leadership that is speaking the language of the rest of the country. We've got enough people speaking the language of government and socialism. We don't have anybody really articulating clearly, loudly the idea that failure is a part of life, and I think somebody that would stand up and say, "You know what, America, I would rather go through a depression because I trust you will be good to your neighbor and I know we'll make it together because we made it before" than to sell out our very system and every value that we stand for and come out the other end as France. When will I hear that from the Republicans?

CONGRESSMAN PENCE: Well, I tell you, you've got to visit my YouTube page, Glenn, and you've got to visit, you've got to take a look at who Republicans have been saying. John Boehner, our Republican leader, has been very consistent challenging the stimulus bill saying, listen, these guys think we can borrow and spend our way back to a growing economy. Republicans don't believe that. Republicans know what Glenn Beck knows, what your millions of listeners know, that the cure for what ails this economy will not be found in the Treasury, it will not be found in the pocketbooks of tax paying Americans. The cure for what ails this economy will be found when we bring tax relief to Americans to invest their own resources, creativity, demonstrate their resilience and perseverance on this economy on their own. The strength of America's not in her federal government. The strength of America is among the American people and that's why you saw Republicans yesterday overwhelmingly oppose the bailout. I opposed it the first two times last fall.

GLENN: God bless you.

CONGRESSMAN PENCE: I don't believe the charge against it, as you know.

GLENN: God bless you.

CONGRESSMAN PENCE: We're dug in on it, man. Look, there's a choice, there's a conflict of visions here. Republicans believe that fast-acting tax relief is the way to get this economy moving again. Democrats believe we can borrow and spend and bail our way back to a growing America, and the American people need to pick up the phone and start sending e-mails and letters and let their congressmen know which one they choose.

GLENN: Congressman, I appreciate it. Thank you so much for the good fight. You are not alone. There's a lot of people out there that are feeling the same way and the same frustration. Boy, that would just be -- if I were in congress, I'd be sure, I'd be the town cryer ringing that bell in the hallway saying, you guys, you don't know the trouble that is coming our way if we're not honest, if we're not up front, if we're not telling the American people the truth and we try to do things in the cover of darkness. It's just not going to end well.

CONGRESSMAN PENCE: Glenn, I've got to tell you your voice is in congress and conservatives on Capitol Hill are grateful every day.

GLENN: God bless you. Thanks very much for bringing this to our attention.
