Sarah Palin… The Case for a Palin Candidacy for President in 2016

Why Sarah Palin Should Run in 2016

'The Key' for the GOP to both beat Hillary in 2016 and nullify the carrot of 'electing the first female president' is running Sarah Palin at the top of the ticket!!

By Marion Algier – Ask Marion - Palin-Cruz 2016: There is a long list of possible 2016 GOP presidential candidates including a couple lesser known women other than Palin, but nobody fills the bill like Sarah!  Ted Cruz, Rand Paul, Allen West, Scott Walker and Ben Carson top the list of new blood that would move America in a better direction… and all would be great candidates in their own right as well as great vice presidential candidates for Sarah Palin. Then there are the iffees with one foot in the grassroots box and one foot in the GOP Establishment RINO box like Chris Christy and Marco Rubio.  And finally there are the Establishment, Big Government, NWO promoter types like Jeb Bush that like Hillary Clinton for the Dems is being promoted daily in the mainstream media for 2016.

Democrats claim they would love for Sarah Palin to be the Republican nominee in 2016… insinuating it would be an easy win for them. They mock her, write one story after another about her, and constantly tout her "irrelevancy". Why?  Because that's what you do with irrelevant people… NOT!  It is because they fear her and realize how much of a challenge and danger she is to them.  It is why Palin Derangement Syndrome was created and the mainstream media ‘jour’no’lists’ colluded to destroy her.

But many Republicans are even wary of what a Plain nomination would bring because the media and entertainment industry have so brutally assaulted her, her public image and her family relentlessly.  But you can’t argue with the throngs of people who come out to see, meet and hear Palin speak at book signings, political rallies conventions and for the NRA… average everyday Americans, ‘We the People’ love her! She is asked to speak and is comfortable at high school graduations and events like Billy Graham’s 95th Birthday Celebration. As for those who promote the idea that she is not electable, think about who is pushing that idea.  Both John McCain and Mitt Romney were supposedly very electable and see where they ended up.  The only time McCain was ahead is after Palin joined the ticket; then McCain made the mistake of suspending his campaign and destroyed his own chances even with her. The last Republican elected President was George W. Bush. He was pegged as an idiot. They laughed at his accent. The media set up "gotcha questions" to embarrass him. He was a silly born-again Christian and a right-wing extremist and a war monger. Sound like the media description of someone else? Oh, and he won. And Reagan wasn’t exactly popular with the GOP Establishment either.

Sarah Palin is Fearless, Tough, Has Been Attacked Like Nobody Else and Emerged Undefeated

Sarah Palin is tough, charismatic, loved by average Americans, vetted and already tested like no candidate before her.  And if there is one thing about Palin, it is that she is not afraid to go after her opponents. She is tenacious. She does not back down. She takes the offense position. She would not apologize. She would not have conservatives hopping mad in her refusal to go on offense. McCain and Romney played nice while candidate Obama pounded them into the ground.

Should Hillary Clinton wind up the 2016 Democratic nominee, no nicey-nice polite candidate will defeat her. One could not have asked for a more reasonable, competent, nice man and qualified nominee than Mitt Romney was in 2012, and it was mostly pointless. The only time Romney surged into the polls was when he methodically dismantled him in the first debate and went on the offensive. He then went on to play it safe in the final two debates - attempting to protect a lead - and the rest was history.  Unfortunately nice guys finish last…

Whether conservatives want to admit it or not, we know the media will not go after Hillary Clinton. Amazingly both Bill and Hillary remain two of the most popular people in politics. No matter how bad everything might be by the time Obama is finishes his second term, Hillary will be held no more responsible by the media than Obama was in 2012. While the Benghazi episode would have been enough to take down any Republican administration, neither Clinton nor Obama have been held even remotely accountable and unless something completely unexpected happens, Hillary will get a free pass. The only person who can change the narrative is a nominee for president like Sarah Palin.

But we are seeing more and more articles and reports of how thin Hillary’s resume is, especially as Secretary of State. Lanny Davis, former Clinton White House Counsel, recently struggled  when asked in an interview to come up with a single accomplishment of Hillary Clinton’s as Secretary of State, without even addressing her lies and negative role in Benghazi. And Dick Morris, a former Clinton adviser only has tales of horror, lies and scandal about Hillary…  Don’t forget, Hillary was fired way back when off the Watergate investigation Committee for lying plus HillaryCare, her version of ObamaCare, is even worse than the disaster we have now. So Hillary is not unbeatable, but it is going to take a tough women with a great second to do it.

Palin could lose… but she could also definitely win!   A week-kneed and "safe" Republican really would be just a sacrificial lamb in both the electoral slaughter that will no-doubt again be headed the Republican's way and in the ensuing national election thereafter. Palin is the best and only logical candidate to go head to head with Hillary. Then match her up with Ted Cruz, Rand Paul, Allen West, Scott Walker, Ben Carson or someone along those lines and you have a winning ticket for 2016!

The Palin Myth: People Hated Her

Many think a Palin candidacy would be DOA because of her poll numbers. But they are either looking at the wrong polls or at polls whose numbers are a reflection of what people have been fed by the media who have not done their homework or gone to see and hear Palin live, just the portrayal and constant unfair and untrue mocking of her over the years.  Just like with Romney, many thought they  "disliked" him according to the polls but  of people who had never heard him speak a word; just because of the image set by the Obama campaign. But when people actually got to see him for the first time in the first debate, a strange thing happened: they liked him, and definitely as a person if not a candidate. Romney’s favorable numbers rose dramatically.  They were even above 50% by election day. So why didn’t he win? Too many Conservatives, Christians, Independents, Tea Party-Grassroots types and Libertarians didn’t come out to vote because they got hung-up on one or two issues or items they didn’t like instead of focusing the bigger picture… 4 more years of Progressivism, big government and Obama (or Hillary).  The same could be true and happen with Palin because the caricature the left has painted of her is so skewed and unfair, but hopefully Americans have grown smarter and will do their homework for the 2014 and 2016 elections.  How many people really think Sarah actually said "I can see Russia from my house"? Palin took a beating far worse than any candidate in recent history. But she is reshaping her image with the group who only knew her through the mainstream media attacks!

In an interview Roger Ailes of Fox News, Ailes said that “the only two people I knew who got worse press than her (Palin) were Richard Nixon and George W. Bush (personally I would add Dan Quayle to that list) — some of it unfairly”, much of it definitely unfair to Palin’s family. That and her fortitude, as well as her message of ‘stop raising taxes’ is why he hired her back after their short parting of the ways following the 2012 Election.

However, the folks, as Bill O’reilly likes to call average everyday Americans, of which Palin is one, loved her immediately and she inspired women on both sides of the aisle, including political convert and lifetime Democrat, the L.A. President of the National Organization for Women (NOW) who introduced Palin for her first Rally in Cali in Carson City where a crowd of 23,000 gathered, that I was privileged to attend, with a last minute announcement… so the Progressive  left immediately feared and hated her. You can bet that Hillary does not draw that kind of a crowd for her speeches!

In 2008 America, at least most of the lower 48 as they say in Alaska, was introduced to a dynamic, vibrant, articulate, patriotic, (and much to the chagrin of America’s ruling elite) charismatic gal that most of America could relate to.  She is the eye-catching mother of 5, including a special needs child; wife of a rugged, outdoorsy, good-looking, Iditarod snow mobile champion, who worked on the pipeline, ran a fishing business and is a nice guy to boot that has been her sweetheart for 30-years; she is a self-made independent politician who worked her way up from the PTA, to Mayor of Wasilla, to Chairman of the powerful Alaska Oil and Gas Conservation Commission, to Governor of Alaska and then to the first Republican female nominee for Vice President; and if need be she can bring home the bacon or moose (that she can shoot herself) and fry it up in a pan or make her famous moose stew out of it for dinner.

And while many memories of the 2008 campaign might have been erased, let us not forget that after her 2008 VP acceptance speech, Palin was easily the most popular of the four candidates:

A week after the selection of Palin, the Republicans would hold their nominating convention and Palin delivered a speech for the ages. Her favorable numbers immediately soared. In fact, her favorable numbers at that point were greater than those of Barack Obama. A CNN Poll had Palin's favorable ratings at +30 (Obama was +26), Newsweek had Palin at +30 (Obama at +20), and NBC News had Palin at +20 (Obama +21). The McCain-Palin ticket suddenly led Obama-Biden in 7 polls, tied in 3, and trailed in just 2.

In that speech, she went after Obama big time; she was not friendly. But, he was incredibly likeable to Americana and the public approved. It wasn't until the 2-month media offensive and character assassination (and as just a VP candidate, a relatively small platform with which to respond) that her numbers started to turn. The media set the narrative that she wasn't experienced enough to be vice-president by constantly writing "Does She Have Enough Experience" pieces. Ironically, while those pieces were written about a governor, mayor, and state commissioner about a VP role; they were never asked of her opposing presidential candidate who was a part-time state legislator and freshman US Senator… who obviously didn’t have the experience to be President. Even CBS Finally Admitted Palin Is A Seasoned Executive - More Than Qualified To Be President

In Poll After Poll Sarah Palin Has Highest Favorability Rating Among GOP Primary Voters and Sarah Palin tops the poll of women that Americans want to run for President

CNN Said Palin’s Influence Far from Diminishing and Former Senator and now head of the Heritage Foundation, Jim DeMint, said there was no more valuable endorsement in conservative circles than that of Sarah Palin… as Ted Cruz and others who credit her with their election wins have said, Palin is the Kingmaker.

Palin is Already Vetted

Finally, Palin is a known commodity. We've seen her at her best and her worst. (And her "worst" is more what others have done to her rather than something she has done to herself.) She is very conservative with a populist stretch. She is inclusive. She reaches out to everyone. She is an effective speaker; many would say she is charismatic. The media has already investigated every hair on her head, read every email she ever wrote, and even accidentally discovered she was a good governor after all. One thing with Palin is sure: there is nothing left to be vetted except her ideas. Would Palin be a risky move? Well, how did the last two guys work out for us and who among the Republicans would be a better force to at least try to stomp her opponent the way they will stomp back?

As Palin's circle of supporters and influence is growing, many of her detractors have had to publicly admit they were wrong about her and admit that she has been right about a long list of things, including Fannie and Freddie, death panels in ObamaCare, Putin invading the Ukraine and even about President Obama himself.

If someone actually takes a little time to do their homework, or the RNC finally gets off their bent to shove another moderate or RINO down our throats and instead would promote Palin like the Dems are pushing Hillary, people would quickly see that Palin is experienced, has a long list of accomplishments as Governor of Alaska, knows energy as the former Chairman of the Alaska Oil and Gas Conservation Commission, and has common sense… a commodity in short supply in Washington.

Whether you are a Palin supporter or just doing your homework and haven't seen the movie Sarah Palin: The Undefeated (Trailer), we highly recommend that you do!  Also, Sarah Takes on Big Oil is a must read!! And start pressuring the RNC to wake-up!

So as for Palin Derangement Syndrome… It is time for that be revisited!  Palin is more popular and influential than ever and her circle of supporters is growing daily! One can hear “Run Sarah Run” wherever she appears!

run-sarah-run Plus, I have recently heard more than one person say, “Wouldn’t that be an amazing race… two women, Sarah verses Hillary running for President of the United States?” Yes it would be! And it would be the first time in a long time that the American people had a clear choice as well as an interesting race!

Sarah Palin toured the USA in the "One Nation" Bus (pictured above) promoting the guiding principles of our Constitution and the original dreams espoused by our country's Founders.  She was met with enthusiasm and huge crowds everywhere… and most said, “Run Sarah, Please Run!!”, and the cries are getting ever louder!
