AMERICA IN DANGER AS SHE CELEBRATES 235 YEARS INDEPENDENCE

American as we remember that, 235 years ago, The Republic of the United States of America was created the 4th of July 1776.

Receiving a magnificent country as America is a precious gift and a privilege that no American should take for granted.

WHO do we thank in this particular case?

Above all, we must thank G-d Almighty for having allowed that our Founding Fathers proceeded with the establishment of our country, saving her from the claws of the Brits, refusing servitude.

They stood up to oppression; they knew that Freedom was precious enough to risk their lives to fight for it.

After Independence, Americans went ahead and fought for the abolition of slavery which legally had existed for over a century, well before 1776. Slavery in America was abolished in 1865.

In all, our Constitution gave broad rights to American citizens in one of the most complete and complex set of laws the world had thus far.

Let's fast forward to contemporary America.

Though our people fought slavery in the past, as we entered the XXIst century, slavery is a threat still looming upon our lives. The threat, however, is aimed at us, contemporary freedom-loving Americans.

Some may agree that we have forgotten the lessons taught by slavery -and may be prone to not identify it even if it knocks at our doors, when we see a silent invader roaming our streets and we don’t dare call it as it is:

The invasion of America is taking place as we speak, but if we remove those blinders, we can still stop it.

What has happened to our country? How did this situation begin?

It all began when then Massachusetts Senator Ted Kennedy heavily supported the abolition of the National Origins Formula, in place since the Immigration Act of 1924, to replace it with the Immigration and Nationality Act of 1965.

In a flagrant display of nepotism in America, when the three Kennedy brothers took the reins of American politics, immigration reform was a critical issue for the family community of origin: the Irish.

Thus, President John Kennedy; his brother, Massachusetts Senator Ted Kennedy and their youngest brother, Attorney General Bob Kennedy, feverishly worked to attain the family goal. And attain it they did.

The Immigration and Nationality Act of 1965, also known as The Hart-Celler act –as per the name of its proponents, US Rep Emanuel Celler of New York and co-sponsor US Senator Philip Hart of Michigan– abandoned the initial structure of American immigration policy from the 1920s and replaced it with a system focusing on immigrants’ skills and family relationships with American citizens or legal residents of the US. It also restricted visas to 170,000 per year –not including immediate relatives of American citizens, and some other exceptions.

As he signed the new legislation into law, October 3rd, 1965, then President Lyndon B. Johnson said that the “[old] system violates the basic principle of American democracy, the principle that values and rewards each man on the basis of his merit as a man. It has been un-American in the highest sense, because it has been untrue to the faith that brought thousands to these shores even before we were a country."

That Act came into effect on July 1, 1968 and along with the Immigration and Nationality Act of 1952, both are the pillars of America’s current immigration pattern.

Despite assurances by the Kennedys that the immigration reform they were pressing for, would not upset America’s ethnical balance: “It will not cause American workers to lose their jobs…,” it ended up altering the immigration pattern and opening doors to non-European nations, thus changing forever the intrinsic tissue of American society.

As we celebrate America’s Independence Day, it’s noteworthy that the percentage reduction of original American voters, might have been a defining factor in the election of someone like the current president, who among other goals, seems to be keen in opening further our borders to endlessly increasing numbers of immigrants who, regardless of their skin color, are bringing in a whole new texture of culture, 100% foreign to what America’s origins were as its wonderful adventure began back in 1776.

As America celebrates her 235th Independence Day, she finds herself under siege from all kinds of enemies: The known and the unknown; the external and the internal enemy.

The external enemy is that whose goal is to expand so much throughout the world with its most coveted prize: our land.

The internal enemy is represented by generations of leading rulers and classes whose main goal has not been the well-being of America or the improvement of standard of living of Americans but who had in mind, above all, their personal agendas and their own business interests.

One Administration after the other has kept the immigration-invasion under the radar, hiding behind the First Amendment to the Constitution that stands for “freedom of religion” in our country.

However, the First Amendment does not stipulate that “freedom of religion” must be upheld even if the followers of a religion have perpetrated an attack on, and massacred, our civilian population in times of peace, especially if that religion incites to the destruction of our country, our people, and our values.

Republican and Democratic administrations alike are guilty of covering up, not only of allowing, indiscriminate immigration but have become accomplices of supporting and promoting terror inside our borders.

Just as recent as last week, the current president and his administration have officially recognized a terror promoting organization, the Muslim Brotherhood, and have, instead, added our friend and ally, Israel, to the I.C.E. terrorist list -all of the above has also been done relatively under the radar.

Americans have the right to know that there is a deadly threat looming menacingly on their lives as well as the lives of many unborn generations ahead of them.

The enemy has received clear instructions to invade us and overpower us. It is here and it is now.

This is the day, this is the time, when Americans must remove their blinders and look straight in the eyes at the danger in front of them and decide what to do.

It is, after all, America’s Independence Day.
