Oklahoma Employs 'Bush Doctrine' Against Sharia Law

Oklahoma Lawmakers Seek Voter Backing to Ban Shariah From Courts

Oklahoma lawmakers are asking voters to weigh in on a proposal that would ban local courts from considering Shariah or other international law in their rulings.

The unusual measure calling for an amendment to the Oklahoma Constitution was approved in late May by the state Senate, sending the issue to voters in the fall in the form of a ballot question.

Though the question's supporters have not pointed to any specific outbreak of Shariah, or Islamic law, being considered in the U.S. judicial system, they describe it as an encroaching threat. State Rep. Rex Duncan, author of the measure, has called the ballot question a "preemptive strike" against Shariah coming to his state.

Duncan said in a statement after the vote that he hopes other states will soon follow Oklahoma's lead.

"Judges in other states and on the federal bench have increasingly turned to citing international law in their court decisions, something I and others feel is grossly inappropriate in a sovereign state such as our own," he said.

In an interview with The Edmond Sun, Duncan said the courts' willingness in Britain to consider Shariah has become "a cancer upon the survivability of the U.K." He said the ballot question "will constitute a preemptive strike against Shariah Law coming to Oklahoma."

The amendment would require courts to adhere to the laws of the U.S. and state constitutions, as well as federal and state statutes. It would prohibit the courts from considering "the legal precepts of other nations or cultures," including Shariah.

Joe Arpaio

Dear Concerned Citizen:

You probably saw that the state of Arizona passed a very tough anti-illegal immigration recently.  This new law will strengthen law enforcement’s ability to identify, arrest and detain those who are in this country illegally.

I support this new law 100%.  Even before this law was passed, I was the only law enforcement official in this state enforcing all the laws that our federal and state legislatures put in place to combat illegal immigration and human smuggling.

Because I have taken the lead over the years by enforcing existing state and federal laws against illegal immigration, I have become the target of attack by radical, left-wing, open-borders extremists.
I’ve been sued, picketed, burned in effigy and even had the Reverend Al Sharpton come to Phoenix – TWICE! – to march on my headquarters.  Some have even gone so far as to call for my assassination!

And, shortly after the bill passed, one of the local newspapers printed a political cartoon of me and our Governor wearing Nazi uniforms and performing the Nazi salute!

The Obama Administration is completely out of touch with the American people.  After blasting me publicly over this new law, Janet Napolitano and Eric Holder admitted they hadn’t even read the law!  Not to be outdone, the Democrats in Congress gave the President of Mexico a standing ovation and applauded him when he condemned the Arizona law!

What these extremists really want is a Sheriff who will look the other way, be silent and allow the charade to continue, while ignoring the laws of our land. That, I promise, will never happen.
But I desperately need your help. It's going to take a lot of resources to combat the attacks and false allegations against me and my deputies — as well as the latest talk about a recall campaign to remove me from office. We anticipate the hardest campaign in Maricopa County history to remove me due to my unyielding stance on illegal immigration enforcement.

I cannot compete with the local and national media machines that distort my record and the job I’m doing to protect this country.  And, I don’t have the personal resources to defend myself from these vicious attacks.

That’s why I’m writing to you.  I have to go directly to the people for their support.  I need good people like you in this country to stand behind me and help me fight this fight.

Will you join me? I desperately need your help now. My election has been targeted as the frontline in the battle to end illegal immigration. We must win this battle.

Your financial support today is so critical. Please log on to www.reelectjoearpaio.com right now and make a much needed contribution. Any amount you can offer today is tremendously appreciated. I promise I will not let you down.

The fight starts now. Please help me. I pledge to you that I will never give up or surrender. Thank you for your support.

Sincerely,
Sheriff Joe Arpaio
Maricopa County

P.S. In addition to making a contribution, please do me a favor and forward this email to at least five of your friends, family members and other individuals who share our views. Together we can win this fight. Thank you.

Donors Give $20K to Defend Ariz. Law

Private donors across the country have given nearly $20,000 to Ariz. Gov. Jan Brewer's office to help defend against lawsuits related to its new immigration law

Today an interview with Secretary of State Hillary Clinton was leaked where Clinton said that Obama and the Feds were going to sue Arizona over their law(s) and actions, but never had the guts to notify Arizona.  And remember when Obama promised to address and help Arizona with their ongoing problems?  He said as a start they would send 1,200 troops to the border (although they were to be paper pushers). Well so far not a single troop has arrived, no info of the program has been sent to Governor Brewer, but what Obama has done is given part of Arizona to the Mexicans terrorizing that state!

Governor Brewer says she is "stunned and angered!" Check out the press release from Governor Brewer that was just released: Governor Jan Brewer Learns of President’s Directive to Sue Arizona via Ecuadorean Television Interview

PHOENIX – Governor Jan Brewer said she was stunned and angered to learn during an Ecuadorean television interview with Secretary of State Hillary Clinton that the Obama Administration had decided to sue Arizona over its recently passed anti-illegal immigration law, SB1070. Video of the interview can be seen at Governor Brewer’s Arizona Border Security Information website:

Secretary Clinton announced during the interview on June 8th that President Obama has directed the U.S. Justice Department to “bring a lawsuit against the Arizona law.”

“This is no way to treat the people of Arizona,” said Governor Brewer. “To learn of this lawsuit  through an Ecuadorean interview with the Secretary of State is just outrageous. If our own government intends to sue our state to prevent illegal immigration enforcement, the least it can do is inform us before it informs the citizens of another nation.”

There are going to be a lot of important fights in November.  Please support your local candidates and causes but a few others worth your support are Arizona and Oklahoma:

Arizona is in the fight for their state’s safety and America’s safety and sovereignty.  And  Oklahoma is in a fight against Sharia Law and for American values and the safety of all women and children.

Please donate what you can these causes as well as to the reelection of Sheriff Joe Arpaio and Gov Jan Brewer
