Why Does Delaware Get to Open a GM Plant While Detroit Continues to Suffer???

Interesting to me was the fact that Joe Biden’s home state of Delaware will be reopening a GM plant in Wilmington. Weird considering that double digit plants were shut down in Detroit alone. Oh and the average price of a home in Detroit 7100 dollars. Maybe its citizens were too busy standing in line waiting for a handout to notice.

Teamsters Commend White House Efforts To Reopen Delaware GM Plant

Don't know why they didn't want Detroit. Possibly: "...The Delaware plant was among GM's "bad" assets that remained in bankruptcy when the new company emerged from court protection. The old company, renamed Motors Liquidation, is selling off its assets to pay creditors a tiny fraction of what they are owed....".

Don't know if they would have gotten the same deal on a plant in Detroit. Whatever it was, it would be a business decision that I don't know the details of.
