The fact that people don’t have those kinds of discussions much anymore with family and friends is part of the reason we find ourselves in the political position we are in today! A fine or tax increase for people who do not purchase health insurance…BAD! The Sunday 5-show media blitz on Healthcare was a bust! It did not change the needle on the polls even a bit, and the White House’s exclusion of Fox actually put off Fox viewers, the largest viewer cable news outlet station. More Americans are now saying that they would rather have no healthcare reform at all than end up with ObamaCare, which means the House’s HR 3200 or the Senate’s Baucus Bill or any other version including: tax increases and more debt in any form, any type of public option or government run or controlled entities over what we have now, anything inducing doctor shortages or rationing or healthcare that pays of illegals (and related services like free translation services) or abortion services with taxpayer money.
Experts are saying, “Hit the Re-Set Button” Start Over or Forget It! And if you force this down America’s Throats by using devious maneuvers… “The Sleeping Giant” will not only have woken up, but will be out feeding!”
The majority of the American public is burned out on the entire subject, the lying and games and even on seeing Obama give another speech or special on Healthcare or anything else, for awhile.
The elderly were the first group to turn against President Obama's health-care proposals, alienated by the plans to cut $500 billion cut from Medicare. The young and the uninsured may be the next to jump ship -- out of worry over about the huge premiums they'd have to pay.
Requiring everyone to buy insurance will impose a massive tax on all who now are uninsured. The Congressional Budget Office projects that it would force the middle-income uninsured to pay on average more than 15 percent of their income.
The poor will still have Medicaid. But for those earning more, the required premiums will be worse than any tax increase. For example, CBO estimates that when the program is fully implemented -- by 2016 -- an individual earning $32,400 a year would have to pay $4,100 in premiums before getting any subsidy. With deductibles and co-payments, he'd have to shell out $5,600 a year, or 17.3 percent of his income. A family of four, making $80,000 a year, would have to pay about $10,500 in premiums alone -- with deductibles and co-payments, up to $15,000 or just under 20 percent of income.
And if they don't buy insurance, they'll face federal fines that begin to approach these same premium levels. They won't be able to buy what they truly need -- catastrophic-only coverage at a lower premium -- that won't satisfy ObamaCare's "minimum insurance" mandate.
The young and uninsured will catch on: This bill is designed to force healthy people who don't have health insurance -- and may neither need nor want it -- to buy it anyway, in order to raise the money to subsidize those who do need it.
Obama has pledged only to increase taxes on the rich. But his program essentially taxes the core of the middle class (those making $30,000 to $80,000). It will make them overpay in order to pick up the slack for others who need the extra coverage.
In other words, health-care "reform" is a health-care tax dressed up as a program to cover the uninsured.
No matter how Democrats get the money to cover those who need insurance, they offend supporters that they need to pass the bill:
* If they get the money from more Medicare cuts, they alienate the elderly still further.
* If they get it from raising the deficit, they lose moderates.
* If they hike taxes to do it, they lose the "Blue Dog" Democrats who've gone on record as opposing such increases.
* If they don't increase the subsidies, they lose the uninsured themselves.
The latest data from Scott Rasmussen's poll of those who lack health insurance indicates that they're starting to turn skeptical about the Obama plan. It's supposed to help them, yet they back it by only 58 percent to 35 percent -- and only 30 percent support it strongly.
More to the point, only 35 percent feel it will improve the quality of their health care -- and, by 41-26, they feel the cost of their care will go up, not down, under the plan.
Having the uninsured -- the stated object of Obama's compassion -- turn against his reform would be the most lethal cut of all.

Solution to the Healthcare Reform…
- Address and Clean Up Fraud in All Areas of Medical Care! – Billions are lost and wasted in fraud each year. Read: Stop Paying the Crooks
- Serious Tort Reform – The lawyers are the winner in Obamacare! Tort Reform is not even being addressed
- Change Intra-State Insurance Laws; allow true competition to sell and purchase insurance across state lines.
- Make Health Insurance Portable.
- Reward Doctors for Results Not Numbers of Procedures.
- Allow the self-employed and small business owners to form private co-ops to purchase health insurance to cut down costs.
7. These changes alone would improve healthcare and save money to cover the uninsured that could be put on a plan that is a subsidiary of Medicare and Medicaid. Government should act as a neutral regulator only… of insurance companies, Big Pharma and the AMA; not be in competition with them. Exclusions due to previous conditions should not be allowed and honest over-sight (which does not happen now) should be maintained and enforced as far as safety, costs and fraud.
8. Natural supplements and alternative or holistic treatments and preventative measures should also be covered and encouraged instead of forced out by Big Pharma and the AMA.
9. “No” centralization of Medical Records! The opportunity for mis-use of that information is too high. The government could incentivize medical groups and doctors to update their records to more modern systems (in-house/in system). Then those records could more easily be sent or hand carried with the patients consent to be shared.
The Obama administration keeps talking about saving money by reforming Medicare and Medicaid. Let them start there and see what the savings really are without cutting funding or pushing costs over to the states.
ObamaCare is or will eventually be socialized medicine, so we need to fight and stop it now. There will be no going back later.
A Govt-Run Co-Op is the same as a Public Option and a Trigger will end up being a Public Option… the Answer has to be No to all!

I watched the Obama on Letterman tonight with an audience packed with Obama Supporters…
It was almost discusting to watch as Letterman Glows to Obama: 'I Can't Tell You How Satisfying It Is to Watch You Work'
But like the weekend blitz… polls seem to indicate that the appearance made no difference for Obama’s popularity or the popularity and support for ObamaCare… or anything else he was pushing. But, it did help Letterman’s ratings. It was the first night that Jay Leno has been back on that Letterman has beat him in the ratings… even though Jay is on an hour earlier… guess people are going to bed an hour earlier or reading afterward, now that the non-biased funny man who does a great interview is back on. All I can say is… they need to switch networks. Lefty Letterman is the perfect fit for NBC! Wonder if he was on the NEA call?? or idea group for it??
As for healthcare?? Do not let our health and healthcare be stolen by Barack Obama, Nancy Pelosi and their teams of crazy radicals. Remember they are going to ‘spread the wealth’ with your “saved healthcare funds, while they and their friends have Cadillac Plans, and are millionaires to boot. They won’t be affected by shortages and rationing!! Standup America for you and yours…
The Baucus Bill is in committee and who knows what is really going on in the House?? Time to re-ignite the pressure flame this week and next… and until Congress gives up ObamaCare and hits Restart!!
Governor Barbor of Mississippi was on Neil Cavuto’s show today, explaining how his state has addressed and accomplished tort reform in his state and says it could save the country billions if they did the same. Are we hearing the bells ringing in our head yet??? Restart… ObamaCare is heading opposite of where we want to go!
